Overall pleased, clean and comfortable. Nice amenities, typicall expensive drinks and food however what we did consume at the resort was very good. On the cons side we arrived at 5pm and initially told our 750 is doller a night room was not yet available. After showing some obvious frustration and unwillingness to walk away the staff was able to find us a clean room we had booked. Also dont plan on a quiet evening in the hot tub or beach, one of the nights we were there the hotel was hosting some sort of large celebration or party on the second floor terrace area. It gets very loud! Luckilly our room was far enough away however we learned from other guests at the hotel that it wasnt a once off thing and had occured several nights of their stay, unfortunately for them they had a room much closer than ours and it impacted their trip quite a bit. Once again very nice hotel, just be aware of the potential for late night loud music if you are trying to relax.

We really enjoyed this boutique little resort. Situated right on the beach, the ocean view rooms with the balconies are the way to go. Plenty of dining options including upscale menu at night and the food was excellent. The quiet vibe was appreciated and there was always a place at the pool. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Did not see the fine print on the Resort Fee of $45/day. You are right by the airport runway and will hear the planes take off from the pool and beach, but not the ocean facing rooms. As an aviation geek, I found it fun to track where the planes were headed.

Rude service. One specific waiter behaved rude and wrongly did unjustified complained about not tipping well. Checked into half remodeled suite to start with - hassle of room change. Friends traveled with us - their kid was bitten by bed-bugs and the staff made lot of drama to move them with kids stranded and scared to lay on bed. Dinner fine dining restaurant was good. Table tennis board was fun. The gym equipments were Ok. The entertainment staffs were fun.

The rooms were very clean and the staff was extremely helpful. This is our 3rd time back. There is one staff member we look forward to seeing every year and that's Fernando at the pool. He has such high energy and a free spirit that it's always fun down by the pool.
Looking forward to another stay when we return to P.R.

Room needs updated. For as much as the prices are, the entire hotel needs a paint job and small fixes. Room was ok. AC smelled and was loud. Broken shower fixture. Amentities were great though. Be aware, next to airport and can be loud esp for bad sleepers (me!).

-located next to the airport
-nice pools, pool bar, and the hotel is on the beach
-has multiple restaurants inside
-has a casino inside
-the beach and city views are great
-rooms are ok. Just what you would expect at a standard Courtyard.

Cons:
-the property is generally understaffed and service is slow.
-checkin took over 90 minutes. Our room was not ready at checkin time.
-service at the restaurants was very slow, it took over an hour to get our food.
-there was construction in the room above us with drilling and hammering both days.

For this price, there’s better options around.

The service staff are wonderful however management needs a lesson on customer service and should learn how to treat their guests from the servers and housekeeping staff
They lied to us on different things and did not take responsibility for their mistakes. But on the contrary tried to blame it on us.
Checking was late by an hour when we had called ah ad of time and ask that the rooms were ready as my wife had broken her foot and needed to be in room. We had ask for a late check out on our previous stay three days before and said absolutely not yet they can be late by more than an hour with no consequences. Managers were totally unresponsive. For the new years dinner party ( that was not cheap) we were told by a manager we were going to be placed in a table close to the dance floor. And when we got there the table was outdoors away from the whole party. The attitude of the manager that we had spoken too; and told us with detail the location of the table was at best dismissive and and worse very insulting. They need to be replaced or reprimanded in a way that they feel it and learn how to treat their guests.

You know more than 500 yards away from the tarmac where 747s takeoff every 30 minutes if this would keep you from sleeping in a hotel room trust me you don’t want to rent any rooms in this hotel. It’s a very nice hotel and the staff was very nice as well. Wouldn’t put anything against them. It’s the location, location location.

your staff needs better coordination and training if you are to consider yourselves a 4-star facility.

My coffee order was wrong half of the time, i only received housekeeping once during my entire stay, i didnt receive the room service menu until the second to last day of my trip; and the food quality can do better.

also the cafe staff, with the exception of a few, can pick up the pace.... taking one order stepping away to fulfill that order and then coming back to the line is not efficient.... at all.

The staff were not providing a welcome feeling. We asked for helping to get our friends room in the same floor, but they denied it. One of my friend was not given two queen bed and was given only a king room with sofa. Another friend of mine was provided a room without safe locker, no wardrobe shelf and a mirror. When asked, they said there is a mirror in the verandah. Every day when we asked for couple of bottles of water, there was hesitation to give the water bottle. Overall a bad experience during a vacation time.

Positives: The hotel was good. There were some renovations happening (dec 2026) but it did not affect us. The Room was very clean and the hotel has all the amenities- it has a cafe, restaurant, bars, casino, access to beach, great pool
Area. We went with 2 other families with kids ranging from 6 years to 11 years and they had an awesome time:

Negatives: Staff were not as friendly and hospitable as i expected. I had a few unpleasant experiences with the staff at the cafe and the front desk which felt like it was a lack of proper training more than anything else.

Food and drinks: We ate and drank quite a bit at the cafe and the restaurant. It was good, not great.

This place was perfectly situated near everything we wanted to do or see! About 6 mins from the airport but still right on the beach. We took Ubers everywhere but it was relatively close and very affordable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Pools, beach, hammocks-everything was clean and lovely. I would definitely recommend this place!

The cleaning lady never made it to our room after hours of us at the pool. She bypassed our room. The room wasn’t 100% clean when we arrived. The food at the bar was horrible and overpriced. The only positive was the pool and direct beach access.

We stayed at the Courtyard for 6 days.
We had to change rooms due to been able to hear the guests in the next room. The floor of the first room was sandy.

Second room, floor sandy as well and the a/c had condensation to the room with a water puddle. We requested it to be fixed and wasn't repaired.

The room phone was not plugged and we couldn't move have furniture to do it. We went down to the reception and requested they connect it, but to no avail.

Parking reeked of urine... Our parking card was cancelled before ckout and had to go back to reception to have it reprogrammed.

The hotel had a strong, unpleasant odor throughout the property, and there was a lot of construction going on during my stay. One of the staff members even entered my room while my guest and I were asleep without knocking, which was completely unacceptable. I constantly had to ask the housekeeping staff for basic necessities like towels and soap, and when they did “clean,” the room was still not properly cleaned. The bed and pillowcases had visible stains. Overall, the experience was disappointing and not worth the stay.

The only reason I did not give a 5 Star rating over all was due to the construction, all the staff was great, only one older gentleman at the outside Restaurant would get a 0 rating due to his personality and attitude, everyone else was great, sorry that forgot the grumpy old man name.

This property provides everything you could want, and more. Even through lobby construction the property was quiet, very clean and well maintained, and every staff member went out of their way to make sure my stay was beyond enjoyable. Friendly, attentive and conscientious, they happily assisted with every request. The beach is immaculate and very relaxing and inviting, as is the entire facility. This will be my go-to place when ever visiting Puerto Rico.

They said the lobby was under construction but would not affect the rest of the hotel common area or rooms. During the last two days of our 5 day stay , the power was turned off for what they said would be from 1 to 2 pm. It’s was off till 6 pm leaving us in the dark to prepare for a 6 :15 dinner at another hotel. Sometimes less expensive doesn’t pay.

Very beautiful & clean interior. Beach & pool are well kept. Had to call lobby 3 times for an update on when microwave will be delivered to room after being told 15 minutes (it took almost an hour even w my calls). Drinks at bar & pool are pricey. A lot of construction going on so it’s not too attractive outside. My friend spilled her drink at the bar & it was nearly full & the bartender said she would need to pay for another (it was her first drink).
