It was okay. Breakfast was good also. The location was close to the airport. The only problem was I had a leak in the room, and my son slipped and fell. He hurt his arms and busted his lips . I don’t think I’ll be staying again at this location .

My family and I planned a week get away to Puerto Rico. My wife’s and my step sons first time to the island as they are from Venezuela and it was as such a pleasure being able to make this trip happen for them. On our 4th day of our trip my step sons as he is 13 years old decided to climb on the slide on the exterior part of the tubbing and slipped amd ripped his left hand opened on the screws that were exposed. Ruined the rest of the vacation as you may imagine as he needed 8 stitches on hand. Safety nets are needed and barriers preventing kids from climbing on areas that are prohibited. As Merritt looks at the design… think like a child and how would a child get hurt in our pool. Trip went to hell and lost thousands on thing we had already planned and reserve to do.

The room was really nice with a well appointed mini kitchen area, living room and sleep area. Our room was checked/cleaned every day, which is not as common as it used to be. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was surrounded by great places to eat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Residence Inn!!

The stay itself was wonderful until we received a note on our door accusing us of a “smoking violation” and charging us $350. The hotel claimed the smoke detector in our room detected smoking activity, even though nobody smoked in the room at all. We were simply using a hair dryer and showering, which seemed to trigger the detector despite staff insisting that hair dryers, steam, and shower steam “cannot” set it off.

What made the situation even more frustrating was how rude and accusatory the staff were when we tried to explain what happened. Instead of listening or trying to help resolve the issue, we were immediately treated like we were lying. Being charged such a large fee without any willingness to investigate or have a respectful conversation completely overshadowed what had otherwise been a great stay.

I understand hotels have strict no-smoking policies, which is completely fair, but falsely accusing guests and handling the situation with hostility is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend the hotel reevaluate both their detection system and how staff handle these situations in the future.

Everything about the property exceeded my expectations! I really enjoyed having a kids pool my two year had an amazing time in there. I love the location of the hotel right in the middle of everything. The room was clean and had an amazing view; I enjoyed waking up being able to see the ocean! I will definitely book again when we visit Puerto Rico!

I stayed in room 911 bathroom can use some paint stained walls and frame for bathroom door is catching rust. The side closest to shower. The staff was very helpful at all times. Breakfast is good love the variety. Pool only my son used and complained about chlorine. But I explained the reason and the function of it in the pools. Parking was great. The vendors in the area are a plus.

First let me start by saying be careful with the fees after checking out!!! I was accused of smoking in the room and charged $381.50. I don't even smoke and no one smoked in the room!!! When I checked out they told me my charges were the resort fees thats it. I checked my email after a few days later and received the final bill and noticed I was charged not once but twice totaling $763 smoking fee which is INSANE!!
I called the hotel to dispute the charge good luck because it took several attempts to speak to a live person. No one answers the phone! After 1 hour of calling I was told to send an email which I did and they are accusing me of smoking and refused to remove the charges. Again I don't smoke so to be accused and charged a ridiculous fee twice is extremely frustrating!

It took forever for them to clean the room. I had to request for the body wash to be replaced and I had sent a message via text, and I informed the front desk at 10am. When I returned to my room around 4pm it was still not replaced.

They need to do better at cleaning their AC vents and rugs because I started sneezing and coughing from the moment I entered the room and that only happens when the hotel doesn't do a good job about cleaning their vents and rug.

I regret staying here to celebrate my birthday. I should have stayed at an Airbnb and helped the locals instead of a hotel who accuses you of smoking and are sneaky about charging fees once you've checked out!

The location, cleanliness, and room size worked well for our family of four (3 adults and 1 teen). It was especially nice to have a good-sized fridge and freezer for leftovers and fresh ice. While the hotel is only 5 minutes from the airport, noise was never an issue. We rented a car, and the parking at the hotel was gated and safe. The pool was clean and never crowded. The beach was about a 10-minute walk, which can seem longer when carrying chairs, umbrella, etc. The breakfast options did not vary much from day to day, and it consistently ran out of fresh fruit.

I had an absolutely perfect stay at this hotel—one of the best experiences I’ve had here in Puerto Rico! The hotel smelled amazing, everything was spotless and super organized. The staff was incredibly friendly. We also loved the pool area—
there were fun little water slides for kids, which was awesome. The location was perfect—so many places to walk to, tons of restaurants, pharmacies—everything you need, and all of it top-notch!

Breakfast buffet was enjoyable and staff replenished quickly. Plenty of fresh towels for the pool or beach. Beach chairs available at the front desk. Coffee shops & dining were onsite and within walkable distance. Close to airport (3 min cheap uber ride). Would recommend staying here.

The check-in process was nice and quick. Also I was very happy our room was ready when we got there at 12 and didn’t have to wait til 3. Hotel is very clean as well. The staff are very friendly. Location isn’t very far from the beach, about a 10min walk. The only reason I gave a 4 is bc the breakfast is just ok and always had something missing. For instance waffles with no syrup. Also, when you get beach chairs, they only give for 2 people. We had 3 people in our stay. Other than that our stay was amazing and would def recommend.

The frittatas were scrumptious. However, I would recommend more offering more variety. The sausage links not everyone eats but having other forms of protein would be great (vegetarian/turkey patties). I did observe that everyday there were waffles but no waffle syrup. That is unacceptable.

It was quite a long walk to the beach and there was no hot tub. The beach was excellent though, and the staff was really friendly and kind. The rooms are big and spacious, with nice kitchens and really nice TVs. The pool was not cold and was very nice with an excellent kids play pool. The breakfast was good, but I thought it closed too early for a vacationer at 9:00 a.m. I would definitely stay there again.

The breakfast menu was below average because it wasn't fresh. The bread felt old, and the food lacked flavor. The juice was too sweet.

The staff didnt provide any information and didnt even ask if i had a vehicle. The 45 daily resort fee should be a choice since nobody visits PR to stay around the hotel. The feel forces you to stay around or it is just an extra charge for nothing.

The hotel was beautiful and clean. Rooms are extremely cold and you’re not able to adjust the temperature. There was one problem! One morning I was leaving my room and came out to a letter that stated the smoke detector was triggered at 6:34am and a $350 fee would apply. I was upset because at 6:34am I was asleep and no one else was in my room. Took the letter down to the front desk and the man that checked me in was there and I spoke with him. I let him know I don’t smoke and at 6:34am I was sleeping I am on vacation. He stated that it would be removed. 2 hours later I checked my bank account and they had taken $182.45 so I questioned the receptionist about what the charge was and she first stated that it was a destination fee and I stated that I paid that fee at check in. The manager Kristina came to me and stated that is for smoking. I told her what I told the gentleman whose name was angel and she laughed in my face and stated that no male was there and that made me really upset. I asked for corporate’s number and the manager higher than her. I spoke with the operations manager Patrizia she stated that it could not be removed just like Kristina stated. They stated that they do not have the ability to refund there. The worker at the desk kept apologizing to me stated that she felt bad because this is a ongoing issue that they are aware of ( Detectors Are Faulty Is What She Stated ) I called corporate and explained exactly what happened and what I was told.

We have stayed at many Residence Inns. They do not fail to satisfy. Breakfast is always good. I like the fact that they offer almond or oat milk to people who are non-dairy. This particular one did not have a big vat of oatmeal but offered simple cups of instant. Although I prefer the vet it was okay. It is wonderful to sit by the pool in the morning or outside and have a pleasant breakfast. There was some noise from Jets because the airport is close by but we soon got used to this and it was only outside and not inside. Someone texted me every night to make sure that we had what we needed and when we needed more towels or toilet paper the response was immediate. The only thing that I did not like was the $45 extra Resort fee with some credit towards the store and the on-site bar/restaurant. There was never much in the store that we really needed and it was all overpriced. The bar rarely had supplies of the meals we were interested in by the end of the day and for 12.50 you cannot get much. They clearly need more check-in people during peak hours because if you have a simple question for the desk and it is busy you have to wait there for several minutes

Thanks to the Residence Inn front desk staff for a wonderful service. I got upgraded to a suite. Breakfast had a variety of options both hot and cold food. Would highly recommend the hotel! Room was clean , it seems like they were under staff . Waiter was super slow but the food made up for it. I wanted to use the computer area to print some documents and the printer wasnt functioning. Instead of the concierge fixing the problem he just ignored it ! The pool was very small a bunch of kids in the adult area , no pool towels available when need it .

Everything was good except the AC didn’t work, they came out to fix it and still didn’t work. They charged me $22 a day that I had to use on their drinks and snacks, if I didn’t use the $22, they keep the money. I was charged a $350 fee for smoking in the room and I don’t smoke. I was also charged for fee that didn’t make sense and they said it was a one time fee. I feel they just wanted to get money out of me
