The front desk staff at this hotel are very rude and unhelpful. One woman in particular was dismissive and rude constantly. I was appalled by the way they treat their guests.

The housekeeping staff came at 2-5pm everyday which was inconvenient because I would be in my room some of those times and they wouldn’t clean the room with us in there even if we said we were leaving in 20 minutes and they could come back.

The elevators worked TERRIBLY. You had to wait probably 7-10 minutes every time for the elevator to come down. It was very inconvenient.

I really disliked the bathroom door. It does not shut all the way. And it is basically a frosted window, so all the light shines through. So if you use the bathroom at night, you light up the entire room.

Also, there was no view of the beach. The window was tiny and you could barely see out of it. The beach is across the street from this property, so you will not be located on the beach here. The pool doesn’t have many chairs and I repeatedly had to tell the staff that there were no towels out there.

I found this property to be very poorly managed.

Location was good, staff did not honor rewards until it was demanded. The hold fee of $250 was actually charged to my card, not a hold. The extra fees were not disclosed, the hotel fee of $60 was not included in the Expedia package. My guest wasn’t happy with her treatment. Will not look at staying here again

Very clean pretty basic standard rooms. Nothing extravagant. The hotel bar was cool and has a full bar. They also have a pretty dope pizza place located in the building as well. On-site parking is available and there’s definitely restaurants that are walkable as well as some shopping options.
The pool area is very nice and clean And there’s beach access across the street

The property is very well maintained and clean. It’s a shame that there was so much noise coming from the adjacent rooms that made it impossible for me to sleep. I had to call the front desk three times to complain. Security did try to intervene, There should be clear and strict rules regarding loud noises at night.

Starting with their great staff, professional, personable and extremely helpful to the room cleanliness to the amenities-everything was spot-on AGAIN! The beach is literally across the street. The restaurants had yummy food and affordable pricing. Overall another great visit!

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience.
Our first room was disappointing. It had a strong moldy smell, and the curtains were visibly dirty and in need of replacement. After I brought the issue to the staff's attention, we were promptly moved to another room and upgraded to a premium room. While the cleanliness was much better, there was still a noticeable moldy odor.
The breakfast was also underwhelming, especially for the $20 price tag. The eggs were cold, and some of the pastries seemed stale. Overall, I didn't feel it offered good value for the cost.
That said, there were two standout positives: the pool and the staff. The pool area was clean, well-maintained, and enjoyable throughout our stay. Most importantly, the staff were excellent. A special thank you to Arnaldo, who acted immediately when I reported the condition of our first room. I would also like to thank the sweet lady stationed near the elevators, who was incredibly kind and helpful during our visit.
While the property has some maintenance issues that need attention, the staff's professionalism and the nice pool helped make the stay more pleasant.

The location is perfect—very close walking distance to the beach and great restaurants. However, the property itself needs a deep cleaning and the rooms are basic, Red Roof Inn quality at best. Definitely not worth the price. Most of the staff were useless, except for the wonderful lady who helped us with our bags and multiple other thing. She was the highlight of the service.

Perfect location for anything you need to do. Close to shopping, beach and food. Not sure I’d splurge on the breakfast more then once but if you need some good ideas on where to get some of the best fish on the island the staff is always on point!

Their beach towels are not of good quality and their main restaurant is not well reviewed and hardly had anyone in it during the four days we stayed at the hotel. I was frustrated that the staff did not clearly state that only one late check out is provide per floor. It was frustrating to learn that and I only received a late check out after I complained twice.

Staff were helpful and respectful. The elevators are very small. Carpets in hallways were dirty in a few spots, Rooms were fairly clean for the most part. Bathroom shower had a bad pitch and would be showering in standing water. Towels weren’t appealing, grayish and discolored! The no late check out was the biggest flaw, understanding that room turnovers have to be made late check outs should be optional. Accommodations here was good overall.

The facility was clean and appeared to be in good condition, staff was courteous, but when asked for help on any issues, unhelpful. The first issue we encountered with the hotel, had to do with the included breakfast. Upon checking end we were informed in order to access the breakfast; we would need a ticket; I noticed that we were only eight tickets to cover the three in our party for four days. When I indicated to the desk clerk the discrepancy, she stated they only provide \"Complementary Breakfast\" to two occupants per room. I then showed the clerk our written reservation from Travelocity indicating \"Free Breakfast\" for three adults, their response was the best they could do was to ask the manager. They promised to get back to me with a decision but never did. We did eat breakfast a few times there, but the breakfast was very poor. Coffee typically was old, cold and or included grounds. Breakfast items were often cold or not replaced when consumed. Parking was adequate, but here again this service had it's problems, on evening upon returning to parking lot, the entrance was blocked with a sign stating it was full, even though we could see several empty parking spots. On the balance, considering the cost once the fees were included of nearly four hundred dollars per night, this hotel offering is very substandard. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel's pricing appears to be excessive, despite its favorable location. The proximity to the beach is not accurately represented in the provided imagery. Upon entering the room, a peculiar odor was noted, and the refrigerator was found to be unsanitary, containing hair both internally and externally. The shower floor presented an unidentifiable substance, raising concerns regarding its origin.

Upon reporting these issues to the front desk, I was informed that the cleaning staff had departed for the day. When I inquired about a resolution for the shower, I was offered a broom and dustpan, which was deemed unsatisfactory. Subsequent discussions with the front desk the following day yielded no resolution.

It is important to note the presence of additional service fees at check-in, despite a lack of corresponding services. Daily housekeeping consistently overlooked essential items, such as face towels or the replenishment of other amenities.

I would advise against selecting this hotel. Furthermore, the balconies lack seating for relaxation. My overall experience was unsatisfactory. The quality of beverages at the bar was subpar, and the pizza served at the on-site restaurant resembled a frozen microwave product.

This place was terrible from the beginning to the end. First, the check-in and check-out process is extremely slow. It takes forever with only 2-3 people in line waiting. Then, the room's temperature was below 62 degrees. When I tried to adjust the room's temperature, I noticed that the thermostat didn't work. I called the front desk and asked for support. They treated me as if I didn't know how to operate the controls (I worked for past companies with HVAC divisions for large commercial, industrial, and public buildings. When the tech came to the room (requested), he again tried to tell me how to manage the temp (basically use it and then turn it off when the room was too cold. I told him that I knew how the system was supposed to work and I forced him to tell me the truth. He confessed that it wasn't working properly in the entire hotel, so changing rooms would not fix the problem. The room's window had a large and deep crack since the last hurricane in 2017, and has still not been replaced in 2026. The bathroom doesn't provide privacy, and the shower' design made the bathroom's floor wet all over. And to make it worse, the hotel charged me a significantly higher cost of over $1,300 for 3 nights, even after paying a deposit of 30%. I checked out one day early and the personnel lack the knowledge to properly credit the one day early checked out and the over charge of the 30% deposit, so I ended paying almost $1,700 for two nights at this miserable place. DON\"T STAY HERE!!!!!

This was the second time I stayed at TYRP and it was most certainly better than the first. The staff was so helpful and the location is ideal for partying and if you have a car close to San Juan and the Condado area. The restaurant called hotties was the place to eat for a good steak and a hydrating beverage.

We were here for 4 nights. The rooms are small, the bathroom was next to the bed so there is no privacy. The deck had a nice view but nothing to sit on to enjoy it. The lighting was very low making the rooms dark. The shower water pressure was aweful. On the other hand, the bed was very comfortable. The pool was nice.

The proximity of this hotel was great. The airport is 8 min away! The access to the beach is across the street, where you can rent chairs and umbrella’s. Cash is best for this.

The breakfast was extra and ok, not great. Many other places within walking distance. The hotel bar was open until 9pm. They were out of a lot of things so drinks were ok.

Overall, it was OK
