El hotel se encuentra muy bien ubicado. Tiene buena limpieza , lugares de comida alrededor muy buenos. El hotel à la hora de la reservation no indicaba que la piscina estaba cerrada, y para completar el agua fue suspendida por una averia lo cual solo tenías servicio una hora en específico. El hotel el lobby remodeled pero pasillos y elevadores deteriorados. Para realizar check in tuvimos que esperar 40 minutos porque estaban en la hora de break y no había otro personal q te atendiera. Que pena haber pasado por esto cuando fue un hotel muy buenos muchos años.

Awful parking lot, no elevator from the parking to the lobby (out of sefvice) the lobby elevator with dirty water in the floor, no welcome kit in the room (no soap/shampoo/65 degrees thermostat)

Reception- she did not now the layout to explain the premises.

The hotel share the premises with an RBNB and management are not responsible for the maintenance of the building

I left the premises, went to a Hampton INN near by, paid a suite for half of the price that ESJ charges, came back to check out and left.

They told me that I don't have any right to receive a refund.

One of my worst experiences. I am from Puerto Rico, born and raised there. It is a shame how they don't care about the facilities, maintenance, etc.

The facility is old and needs renovations. The selling point for us was the vintage arcade..however half the machines are out of service. Our room even had a leak stain on the roof, broken tile, and kitchen cabinet. There was no hot tub and was told is under renovations as well as pool which is advertised on esj towers website. On the plus side view from apartment great and fully working appliances. Would've never booked had I seen accurate pictures of property. Also, parking is very very limited...we were lucky to find one on our second attempt entering and exiting the property.

This hotel was by far the worst hotel I have ever stay at! The pool area looked like a disaster! I asked for a pool and ocean view instead I got a view out of a horror movie! I can add photos! For the price it definitely was not worth it. On top of that I had 2 VIP’s. We had to share a AC remote bc per the staff they don’t have one for each room. The TV needed 2 remotes, one for volume and one to change the channel. Photos on the website are a complete lie! They do not have a pool up and running! We literally used the room for sleep only! This hotel is horrible! Please do not stay here! Photos online are very much deceiving! Zero stars all around. Holes all over the place on our floor and a very old sofa in the hallway. Disgusting! Absolutely disgraceful! All the staff are very rude and not helpful at all. To top it off we did not have water for 3 hours! This hotel had zero consideration for the guest! So rude and disrespectful!

I come to the ESJ every year and Love This Hotel!! It’s
a hit or miss for the pool due to maintenance but that doesn’t bother me at all due to the beach being right there and easy access to it.. Which is a super plus for me! The apartment was great staff was great as always! This Hotel is near everything!!

Stayed at the ESJ Beach Hotel, ocean view super spacious room, two queen beds, desk, small dining table with 2 chairs, plus a couple of bar stools for the countertop space. Spectacular view from room balcony. Beds were comfortable. The kitchenette was fully equipped with a full size refrigerator, utensils, dishes, soap, sponges, pots, and coffee maker + coffee. We had plenty of linens and towels in the bathroom, along with a full size beach umbrella and two foldable chairs that were a great bonus. The hotel location was excellent, quiet, and very safe. The exit door takes you right into the beach. There is a small coffee shop (service can get slow) and a bar at the lobby, also vending machines (but weren’t working well at the time). Several restaurants are at walking distance, including the Pueblo grocery store. I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel!

We personally would never choose to stay at this facility again. The Pool view looked 3rd world, The TV service was atrocious in both rooms. one of the rooms had a few small roaches, Paint was pealing off the ceiling, and the entire place seemed to be thrown together in cheap. Two dresser draws were broken.Also they mentioned that since their pool was under construction that the neighboring Hotel The El San Juan Hotel will vouch the guest of the ESJ Hotel to have access to the El San Juan Hotel pool and facility which turned out to be false. .

This was an unacceptable experience. Check in was at 4 and the room was not ready until 5. We were then provided keys that did not work and did not have a remote to control the air. I had to go down to the office three times which wasted slot of our vacation time and I was late to a scheduled dinner. The manager avoided me and I was told that I would be provided a credit for the room which I did not receive. Will never stay here again.

The photos are very old because the property is run down and under a lot of construction. There is no pool and based on what I heard from the locals the pool been out of services for over 2 years. The property is nicely locales near the airport and there are plenty food options within walking distance. Beach access is easy.

Dirty towls were giving. No hot water. Stains on sheets. Also sometype of bugs in bed that bit me and my girlfriend that causes many bites on our legs and back. . Of course no pool but you can use other hotel pools for a 100.00 charge per day. That is the deal the hotel made with the surrounding hotels if you want to use the pool. The view was nice and great location right on the bech..

All of the above! All of the amenities were missing: no beach towels, no hairdryer, no coffee maker, no iron, a bucket, but no mop. I made reception aware of all of these missing items so that I would not get charged for them, and every time I mentioned it the person at reception would say “oh right away we’ll get those things up to you“ but it never happened. I asked for beach towels and had to wait one and 1/2 hours until housekeeping brought it up. This is after she told me that she would bring them right up. The staff did not seem to care about any issues that you had. We had to fend for ourselves otherwise the room was big and comfortable other than the bed which hurt my back. I would not stay there again.

Blood stained rug, no running water, the pool was all torn up, the curtains and blankets have holes, showers curtain disgusting, the game room nothing worked, no gym, Forced to pay an additional 210 at ck in for daily cleaning, no one cleaned our room all week until the night before check out and at that it was a halfassed job, bar is a joke, the indoor staff was rude. This was my first trip to PR- next trip I will select a different hotel for sure. I would not recommend at all.

Room was very clean and staff was courteous. Having full efficiency kitchen and unit with washer and dryer was key as room service was unpredictable. We would not stay there again if room did not have all amenities we had. Also we had to change rooms first night because of awful view on ground floor. Lot of disrepair on exterior of building. Pool and hot tub is an awful eye sore.

The service was terrible. The sheets and curtains were stained and dirty. Every day we asked for towels for the room to be cleaned and they would say yes. We would return from being out and there would be towels and to find out that they didn’t clean the room or even remove the garbage. The vicinity had a water situation and we were ok with that, but not to have the bathroom cleaned or even remove the garbage was discussing.
To of the employees at the main office yesed me to death and nothing would be taken care of.
The pool is under construction, and there are no beach chairs available.
Overall, this was a terrible experience. Terrible hospitality services and discussing to say the least. We had to stay because unfortunately everything was sold out around us for the long weekend.

The Hotel it self is Outdated, nothing like the pictures on the website. Housekeeping never showed up to clean the room, we only received new towels every other day, we had to dump our own garbage. first of all we were not informed about any water issues ! there was no communication from hotel staff about not having water . when we asked about the water they said it would be fixed the next day . we couldn't even flush the toilet water was on about three hours a day all week . the last day we were there the staff gave us a 5 gallon bucket . not recommend to anyone to stay at this place

The room was neglected. No one came to clean the whole stay. Upon arrival after a long day of traveling we got to the hotel, and was advised that the whole hotel didn’t have water. We could not shower. We had a schedule on when the water would be on and we had to rush to use the water wisely. This ruined my birthday. I was here for my birthday trip with my boyfriend and this made it really awkward.

The door to the bathroom kept coming off for some reason ??? And it would get stuck when it was closed all the way making it difficult to get out of the bathroom. So we had to leave it like halfway open all the time. Water was shut off randomly at times and the next day they gave us set times to use the water because throughout the day it did not work at all. So we couldn’t shower or flush or anything and sometimes the water wouldn’t even turn on at the time it was supposed. Not the best !!

The first room they gave us was absolutely terrible. The toilet didnt flush, the walls were dirty, the place was really beaten up. We were moved to another room, which was very nice, however, we only had water between certains hours for the day. We didnt have our room cleaned, or clean towels or garbage taken out for 2 days. It was terrible. I will never stay at this hotel ever again. We got several different stories as to why they were conservering water.

Charged me 150 dollars for service fee after the second day went to them asked them why the room hasn't been cleaned they told me after 4 days they clean the room all they did was leave clean towels and left clean sheets didn't put them on terrible service i asked them if i can stay 2 extra hours because my plane was delayed they told me 75 dollars extra i will never come back here ever again

Beautiful view from my room. I was only there for one night. The bar area is nice. Bartender was great. Would be challenging to get around with a wheelchair, walker…. Sidewalks and ramps not ADA compliant. Steep in spots. I didn’t see a ramp up to the check in/out office. I had to drag my suitcase up 4 stairs.

This has to be the worst stay ive had in Puerto Rico ever! The only positive was the front desk staff ladies were pleasant but that was it. We had roaches from day one and went to ask front desk about sending someone to spray or clean. They were nice but after 2days no one came we then went down and was told no one put it in the chat they put it in the reservation though. So no.one came. Also requested clean towels and beach towels and disnt get them for 2days. The service of wifi disnt work in the room but they said oir room 179 was a new remodeled room. Had no.ability to watch tv. The room was ok but definitely did not give remodeled with the couch and smell. This was so bad considering we found roaches and the maintenance man felt bad and had to come to pick them up off the ground for us. I do nor recommend this property to anyone and it shouldnt be listed since its clearly infested.

First thing is the pool is not available. Wasn’t available last year either. Second there is a lot of construction going on in rooms which is also something that was going on last year. I am happy that they are working on the rooms and all but now I have a 4 month old and to stay in a room where next door and or upstairs there is someone drilling and chipping away at concrete all day was not ideal for us. Staff is always amazing! The lobby and rooms are spotless can’t complain about that. The area is also super nice and everything is local. Unfortunately the game room is completely unavailable maybe one machine was working the rest are out of order and the entire hotel smells like mold. Not the rooms though. This is tough to write because this is my second trip staying there and I would love to again, however, going to diner and seeing other hotels in the area made me want to stay there vs ESJ. I think in time they are going to make it something and I’m sure in the past it was an amazing place to stay at but right now I wouldn’t stay there again.

hotel was right on the beach, they are still doing construction in the building because the area we stayed at was an extension so its still new. Only thing confusing was where to check in because the office is hiding in a little corner. The cafe was great downstairs! amazing coffee, wish there was more food options in the hotel. Very clean and staff was super friendly and helpful
