Room was clean and spacious. Tub faucet was leaky and the sink handle comes off if not paying attention. Bath tub could definitely use a good scrubbing but clean enough for a shower. Staff was great, did not use the gym or laundry.

One of if not my worst hotel experiences ever. I wasted $200 because I rebooked at another hotel after 20 min. The property smelled like smoke. The stairs had empty beer cans and bottles as you walked up to get to the 2nd and 3rd floor. Once in the room. It was like the room was straightened up but not cleaned at all. It honestly smelled like funk and febreze. The bed sheets were dirty and had dog fur on the sheets and pillow. The pillow cases were actually dirty. One had black makeup still on the pillow case. I wanted my hands and the sink backed up and had hair and just unidentified dirt that rose from the backed up water. I was visiting the area with my family so there was no way I could've stayed in those conditions with a 2 year old along with me. I don't know who checks on these type of things but this place needs to be audited for improvements seriously. I don't do reviews like this but since this hotel made themselves the exception, I had to make an exception and write this. I highly don't recommend staying here unless there's proof they literally cleaned up their establishment.

Room was freezing. Stayed in a snow storm and the rooms are just old and lack any insulation. Small heating unit had difficulty heating the entire room. Had to ask for extra blankets, which thankfully were provided. Front desk staff was courteous and did their best. No hot water. Barking dogs in the middle of the night. Snow removal was practically non-existent. Would definitely not recommend.

The room did not have significant amount of heat the convexor was blowing semi.Hot air. Evan, when the thermostat was set at 80 degrees. I left the room much earlier than I anticipated 4 AM. Spoke to the clerk as I was returning my swipe guard and she says yes. The rooms are cold. Her herself had a coat on in the office.

Room was dirty. We had to go to Walmart and get cleaning supplies so we could clean the room. Floors dirty, hadn’t been swept or mopped. Refrigerator was dirty. Freezer needed to be defrosted. Room had a smell. We had to wrap a towel around or shower head so water wouldn’t splash everywhere. Window glass was broken. Idk if they are under new ownership/management but it’s not the same. We use to stay there and the smell or bleach was everywhere. Looked clean and smelled clean. Outside is a bunch of abandoned cars. I will not return there. Save your money and go somewhere else.

The bed was broken. Every time you move it would make a loud banging noise. Bathroom light kept flickering and eventually went completely out. Every time you sit on the toilet it is loose so it makes a loud banging sound.

Run down. The price is way too high for what you get. They didn't clean the floors in the room. There were brown spray marks all over the place in the bathroom. I don't even want to know. My wife and I did not sleep here. I would not recommend it.

It isn’t a horrible place and on a budget it’s a good choice. We checked in and the front desk was very nice and it was an easy smooth process. We drove around out back since our room was out back and the parking isn’t super convenient for those out back in the road side, but nonetheless still some parking. We got to our room which was clean and spacious. Cute little fridge and couch. We did have an issue with our toilet flushing properly but not a serious issue.

It seems as this motel houses some less fortunate but it was never an issue and I never felt unsafe or anything. The noise level was minimal to non-existent. The location is good. Easy to get to and within driving distance to plenty of shopping, food and beverages. I would recommend staying here for those on a budget and I would stay here again.

The parking lot considering the people they had staying there could use more lights .
The are homing what looks to be welfare people. I saw at least four. The room was clean enough but no amenities not even a hair dryer. What is with the metal box bed frame? Every time you moved it chimes. You had to wait for hot water. And it smelled like \"skunk\". If it is the last room in the area KEEP GOING!

Asked for a non smoking Room and gave a room that smell mariguana.
Front desk changed to another room and did not smell , however the floors were unswept and full of long black hair. So I had to ask for a broom and I sweep it my self and clean the floor with windex . That tells me that that floor hasn’t been swept for days. Aldo loosed toilet , towels well worn out,bed is terrible uncomfortable .

I stayed for the weekend with my family of 3 and our dog. The location of this motel was great, it was a pet friendly option close to Mystic. The staff was friendly and quickly fixed our key on the second day when it wasn’t working. They also easily accommodated my last minute request for a 1st floor room. The property itself was quiet. The room, however, wasn’t that great. It wasn’t swept very well, hair and debris were on the floor. There were also food crumbs in the dresser and microwave. The bedding
was clean but it was obvious that it needs to replaced. The property grounds were similarly in need of upkeep. The grassy area to walk dogs was dirty with trash. With a little increased cleanliness, this motel would be a really nice spot. Unfortunately I don’t think I’d stay again, with all the other options in this area.

The stay was great. The facility was nice and the employees were friendly. I only have two issues. When I walked in to my room, the door didn't closed properly without my using a lot of force to make sure it closed and the soap that was used to mop the room left a slick residue even though it was dried. I slipped on a couple of spots.

It was conveniently located after a late night/early morning check in. It was however loud as the walls were thin therefore hearing the neighboring rooms television upon arrival and again before the 9:00 am alarm that was set. Bed had metal that made a noise with every movement and the pillows were not comfortable. Nice staff. I wouldnt likely stay here again, but it isnt the worst.

My husband and I have been visiting this area for the past 10 years, this was the worse motel that we have stayed at. They promised a queen size bed, but the one in our room was a double bed, the front desk insisted that it was a queen bed. The commode had to be plunged the first night, and we had no hot water. Hot water came on the second and third day. We will not return to Motel 6.

Bare minimum to sleep and shower in good location.

Service was very attentive and responsive, had help in my room within 5 minutes. Unfortunately it was to clean the air conditioner filters. Non-smoking room was not, had to empty a good size can of smoke away to make it bearable, but which very attentiv staff were happy to provide. I should stop right there, but a bare minimum for me is fresh roast coffee in the common area. Any place that has a coffee \"dispenser\" is not even trying.

First room had a LOT of mold and a shower curtain bar that was hanging by one screw on one side. Second room had too much mold. Third room was OK, but the floor felt gross to my adult daughter. Staff was excellent and responsive! Check-in clerk was the most genuinely friendly and efficient I have experienced.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences that I could have ever had. We requested a first floor room because we have a Service Dog, and they gave us a second floor room. The steps were very scary. It was raining outside and I almost slipped a few times while helping my dog down the stairs SLOWLY.The problem was fixed the next morning. We were given a first floor room, but people were smoking and blowing it everywhere. The fridge didn't work, and it was rusty and moldy. There was filth and rust everywhere.

It's a motel so don't expect 5 star rooms. But the room was clean, the staff was incredible (can't stress this enough-they really were so helpful and friendly), they're pet friendly, and it's a convenient location. The downsides were the vending options, the shower had high pressure but it sprayed water everywhere, and the bed made a metallic sound every time you got in or out of it. Other than that it was worth every penny.

The room wasn't awful, could use a lot of updating. It was old and smelled of stale cigarette smoke. Luckily for close to home trips I travel with a large fan. Once we could circulate the air it was better. We had to circulate the air with the door open. The area didn't seem too friendly.

Additionally, some cars in the parking lot looked like this could have been home for a lot of people. It was a little sketchy. If I had my things with me, at the casino, I might've driven home instead of staying.

I would not stay here again, but it might be fine for other people.

The positve was that there was no carpet. So it wasn't an allergy den for me.

Quick stay to keep moving north to go camp. This place was decently priced. Not alot of guests while i was there but someones ararm was going off at 230 in the morning right outside my door. We all mess up my dude but lock it up. Loud cars throughout the night.

Service was my most preferred. Great check in experience and check out as well. Met the local telly cat.

Most importantly check out Groton. Learn about the 150 that took on Bennedict Arnold. Cool battlefield to check out close by.

We ate at Pauls Pasta shop and it was excellent! Tell em Cole Slaw sent ya.

Front-desk people were great. Otherwise, as the old saying goes, if you have nothing good to say.... TVs got 6 stations, the shower head was at a great height if you're under 5'5, but if you're 6'3, not so much. the only amenity was coffee and ice, no food vending machines, no breakfast available. And there was no house-keeping during the two days I was there.

We were greeted by friendly staff member she went along with our joking around but checked us in timely. Unfortunately there was musty smell when enteeing the lobby and little in tge room also. The price was good and property upon entering as well as lobby looked good but got to room and you realized your at a budget motel. Cig burns all over room, counters floors tub bed spread had more cig burns than the ashtray had. Staff was prompt and efficient but they left such an impression on me I don't even remember if they were male or female.
