The welcome building is terrible. After a long drive we needed to use the restroom. It was behind the check-in desk and worst than a gas station restroom. Toilet couldn't flush and it was dirty and unkept. The outside of the property is in need of repairs. Very shabby looking. The first room we looked at was dingy looking and smelled stale. The second room was decent.

The room seemed to be recently renovated with new fixtures, paint and floor. Very clean. However, lots of things were wrong. Strong musty smell as soon as we walked in. Sink drained extremely slow. Door didn’t fit leaving significant gap at top and bottom for bugs or any small creature to enter(see pictures). Venetian blind in bathroom missing slat(peek-a-boo). I’ve machine held together with duct tape. Overall Ugh.

I absolutely loved this Inn. My room was located towards the end and it was quite and peaceful. Looked out my window (back of Inn) and got to see 2 deer grazing right by me. Loved the picnic tables in the front, the room was clean, bed comfortable and overall a great room. Staff was courteous. I am coming back there end of October but Expedia says the Inn has no availability. This makes me sad because when I check out on September 1 the staff at the desk said they had availability and when I booked it to call them to ask for the same room. Now I'll have to find somewhere else.

I liked it very much, the room was clean, spacious, the balcony overlooked the trees. We stayed for three nights, two of which were quiet. But the last night in the next room there was a party from 2 am, loud music and noise. We went to the reception, but it was closed. We had to endure the noise, so as not to get involved with a drunken company. But in general the impressions of the hotel itself are very pleasant.

Our room was fine for the one night we spent in it and the restaurant Karie’s that’s right there is amazing, however for the size of the room and lack of amenities, quality of the bed/furniture, the bathroom shower didn’t seem clean either plus it was very small, I found it to be extremely overpriced for not being on the beach or water at all. It was not worth the 368 dollars that we were charged. I don’t think we would ever stay here again for the price.

A friend and I stayed a night at this hotel when I came down from Boston to see a show at Theatre by the Sea. This place was one of the more affordable options, and we were both really impressed with it! Check-in was quick and easy and the two queen bed room was incredibly spacious. There was a fridge and microwave as well, so this seems like it could be a great place for a longer stay. Normally, I like a firm mattress, but these seemed a bit hard for my taste. That's my only real complaint (and it's barely a complaint). Our room was on the second floor and also included a lovely terrace that we barely used.

The floor boards were bulging near the bathroom as it seemed maybe there was a prior flood or something because there was a large humidifier turned on in the corner. I can only rate my room as I’m not sure how the other rooms are but we had a horrible smell in ours. Our flooring was buckled by the bathroom so I assume the mildew, musty smell was possibly from water damage.
The walls are paper thin and we were kept awake till all hours by two couples partying next door and the front office closes by 8 so we couldn’t complain. Ruined our whole next day of exploring the area as we were exhausted.
