My go-to place for when I visit Amsterdam. It is a lovely building equipped with wonderful amenities, a safe and quiet location, short walk to multiple bus stops, with an award winning gelato shop right up the road. All the staff members are so attentive and helpful. The rooms are equipped with everything you could need as well as a nice little store at the floor level for quick snacks or necessities. I love Amrath Apart Hotel and will definitely start here again next time I visit.

Have a lot to say, good and bad. I will start with the Good

The Good:
- Staff were very friendly and welcoming
- Room was nice, clean, and perfect for 2 people
- 15 minute walk from the bus stop
- Amenities in walking distance (a bar, a snack bar, Albert Heijn is a 20 minute walk away)
- Nice view from windows
- Bed was comfortable
- Gym, laundry room (pods must be purchased), game room all in hotel
- Sponge and soap provided for dishes

The Bad:
- The Bathroom
- Shower seal was dirty
- Shower seal on the door was also broken
- Hose had a leak, but that luckily did not make the water pressure bad
- Certain places in the room were dusty
- One of the plates had a crack in it down the middle
- So little dishes, you will have to wash your glasses every day
- Room key had incorrect dates on it and stopped working earlier than intended, however the staff were once again very friendly and helpful and immed gave us replacement keys
- Microwave turntable does not spin
- You may be charged if you need new towels or extra housecleaning
- not a lot of soundproofing between other rooms
- Table and chairs are very low to the floor
- Two twin mattresses means they slide around easily, but that’s easy to fix
- Sheet came off easy
- One mattress had stains on it

Overall, my partner and I did have a great stay, and enjoyed the time in the hotel room. It was nice, other than the issues we had here.

Quiet and charming, the staff is very helpful. It’s not easily accessible by bus but you can get to and from schipol airport to take the train into central in like 40 minutes give or take so be prepared to uber if you don’t do that but I recommend the bus to get a feel for the area.

Worst hotel in Schiphol!!!!

We checked in as normal on Wednesday but that's the only easy part of the entire trip we experienced.
After checking in we went to the room on the 3rd floor and found out the AC wasn't working. We called the front desk and was told they would get maintenance out there by Friday to fix it. In the mean time a small fan was brought to the room.
The next day after returning from the beach there was a sign on the elevator saying it was out of order. Friday came along and we asked the front desk when maintenance was coming and they told us that the 3rd floor has been out for weeks. So overall no one was coming when we first asked and were lied to.
There's been heat advisories during the visit and having our room face the sun we were getting every bit of heat so I went to bed sweating and woke up sweating.
Also, got locked out one day and didn't know that you had to press a button to the front desk. The guy told us that he locks the door when he goes to do other things.
Lastly this place is far from other forms of public transportation so you will walk more than expected.
Overall this was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in and highly recommend you to stay away.
P.s. Even after we checked out on Tuesday morning the AC and elevator STILL weren't working!

I feel like having the word hotel in the name is misleading. What’s also misleading is the place advertises they are within 10 minute walking distance from the museums and other tourist attractions. This place is not a hotel, it’s more of a short term apartment complex. It’s located in a subdivision. They only clean your room once after the 6th night and then repeated every 7 days. NO toiletries and if you want more towels they charge $6. The funny part is I was going to give them 5 stars for service, because they gave us one of the rooms early, but I had to argue with the guy downstairs because he was saying the room will be cleaned after the 7th day. He gave up when I told him that I would pull up the email the sent me. When we were leaving, my daughter heard him say to another employee to over charge them, and he doesn’t care. He didn’t realize my daughter was standing beside him trying to turn in the room key-card. In the email I got it stated they have a game room which was old stained couches, a worn out billiard table, a juke box which did not work, a broke TV on the floor, and a mounted TV that doesn’t work.

I should’ve done my research, but also shame on Expedia for advertising this was a hotel and shame on the business for pretending to be a hotel. They don’t even have a front desk!!! I want to add they charged me city tax, but Expedia had already collected.

The other weird part is I believe they run a shipping company downstairs near the small store or where the

We had a lovely stay at Amrath apartment hotel. We used bolt to get around because public transit is not convenient to get to. Rides into Amsterdam run around 18 euro each way. Laundry is free which was great, dryers were too hot. Room was very comfortable, nice seating, good beds, very clean. There was no dishsoap, laundry soap or shampoo, just bar soap, so bring some. Staff was exceptional, very kind and accommodating. Air conditioning was needed two of the days we were there, it was broken. They gave us a nice fan. Most days were very comfortable without a/c. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much. It was so nice to leave the city and have a quiet night to rest toward the next busy day of touring.

We loved our little stay at the Amrath. While some may feel it was out of the way, we found it the perfect place to wind down after a full day in the city.
They were always happy to answer any of our questions and the 24 hour market in the lobby was lovely. If you want a quite place to stay just outside of the city, I highly recommend.

The hotel itself served well enough for our group. The problem started when they took a deposit from us, gave us our rooms, and we went into them.
The AC was out in half the hotel, and it was over 35 degrees in one of our rooms. We had a toddler who could not stay in such heat. It was hot when we went and even when we opened the windows, there was no relief.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 2 weeks and it was absolutely perfect. Transportation is close, bikes are available to rent, they have all the things you need to cook, clean, and even have a coffee machine so you never have to skip your morning coffee! They have a small food area downstairs for snacks and breakfast in the morning. Communication was always wonderful and we always felt safe and at home when we arrived back to the space. 10/10 highly recommend for short or long stays!

Very clean and quiet hotel. The people at the front desk were always so helpful. I forgot an adapter and one of them offered to bring their own charger from home! I will say this hotel is quite far from transportation. 15 minute walk to Badhoevelaan (not included with GVB or Iamsterdam and is not direct to Centraal) or you could walk 30 minutes to Oudenaardeplantsoen or Baden Powellweg to go intercity. We personally didn’t mind the walking as it was always so peaceful.

All in all a very nice hotel with a good price and kind staff. Travelling into central with public transportation was a little difficult but we eventually found out that a tram takes us pretty close to the central after a 25-30min walk.

The air conditioner was out of order twice during our 8-night stay. Good to have free laundry service but you need to prepare the detergent yourself and one of the drying machines didn’t work. The staff was lovely, so that was not an issue. The room needed a deep cleaning. There were stains and splatters all over the walls. The television in the room did not work at all and when I arrived the lamp in the room did not have a bulb in it. Once I let someone know, the staff came to put in a bulb but was not able to repair the television so I was not able to use it during my stay. The proximity of the hotel to public transportation or restaurants was not convenient at all and the advertised bar/lounge was not existent. Overall, not one of my favorite hotel stays, but staff tried to help make it as good as they could.

The location is excellent-close to public transport. The hotel hires out bikes which gives those staying the opportunity to experience the bike culture of Amsterdam. The managers communicate well. The rooms are clean and well laid out. Would have stayed longer if we could. Will be back!

I stayed in a 60 m² apartment for 10 days and everything was perfect for me. It's quiet and safe which I value much. The property conditions are very good and the area nearby is very open, close to a canal and to a nearby green area where it's possible to go for an outdoor run. Bathroom is a good size with a good shower. The kitchenette was enough for my needs and the local supermarkets are reachable in 20 mins walk. Local transportation is available but you need to walk 15-20 mins to reach the closest stop. I liked my stay and I will consider this hotel again next time I come to Amsterdam.

The concept is superr intriguing. Every comfort is available without being in the chaos of the city but not too far either. The area is so quite and pleasany to see that it recalls autumn vibes and relaxing walks. Absolutely recommended for people travelling alone, with friends, for families and all those who love this. I liked that the neighborhood was secluded and even offered a beautiful walking/trail area right along the canal in the “backyard” of the hotel. Very nice area to chill close by. Grocery store like Jumbo were within minutes away. A leisurely bike ride to the city center of Amsterdam just 20-30 minutes by bike, but it passes by so fast because of how beautiful the road is to the destination. I miss it already! ❤️

We had an amazing 7 night stay at Amrâth Apart Hotel Schiphol Badhoevedorp. Our apartment was modern, clean and overall perfect for our needs! The kitchen is fully stocked and anything you might be missing for an extended stay is available for purchase in the lobby area. The hotel also offers free laundry which was a great bonus. The are the hotel is located in is picturesque and quaint - we adored petting the lovely neighborhood cats we saw out and about. However, it takes roughly 1 hours to get to Amsterdam Centraal using transit which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, amazing stay!

Appartement très bien isolé, nuits calmes, malgré la proximité de l'aéroport. Accueil chaleureux (mention très bien pour Robert, qui a été très patient avec notre Anglais très approximatif). Salle de bains fonctionnelle, propre et agréable. Ménage de l'appartement, avec changement des draps et serviettes, une fois dans la semaine, parfait. Seul bémol, le 1er arrêt de bus est à 15 minutes de marche, mieux vaut être motorisé. Je recommande cet endroit, bien moins onéreux que la plupart des logements, à Amsterdam.

We had an excellent stay at this property in a small studio room. Room was updated and comfortable. Hotel has a market for purchasing breakfast, coffee etc and there is a very nice lobby. Receptionist was kind and helpful. Neighborhood is residential, safe and quiet. It is not in a town center so you need a car to get around. We had a car and had no issues. There is fee around 5euros for overnight parking. Location is close to Amsterdam by car and also east to explore other Dutch cities.

You can get 1 25 minute tram (number 2 a Green line) into the city centre which is great and they are every 10 mins. The tram is approx 30 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel gym did the job and the staff are 10/10. Shoutout to Richard, great guy.

When I first arrived at Amrâth, I had a bit of trouble with their self check-in. However, Robert was there to help me make that process a breeze! He also helped me with the property's bike rental service, and answered any questions and concerns I had to the best of his knowledge and ability, overall amazing guy!

The room itself was simple and quite small, but the cleanliness was spot on and it had everything that made my stay very pleasant, so no complaints from me.

The bathroom was also very clean, they were really kind to also provide a bathroom kit (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and lotion) which was nice. However, the kit is quite small so if you're travelling with friends, or you plan to stay for quite some time, I recommend also bringing your own.

Location wise, the hotel is near the airport, so getting there is easy and fast, and the nearest train station is either a 5 minute bike ride or a 25 minute walk, (give or take) which is a bit far, but me personally I didn't have any issues with that.

Overall I really enjoyed my stay here, the service and amenities here are amazing for the prices they charge, I definitely see myself booking this hotel if I were to vacation in Amsterdam again (most likely with friends) Highly recommend!

The staff was generally amazing. Robert was incredibly helpful and kind in answering all of our questions. There was another gentleman at night who's name has slipped my mind, but he was also very kind and eager to help!
My only minor complaint is not having dish soap or cleaner in the room! You can buy it for very cheap downstairs, we just never got around to it.

Found a roach in the room and lots of hairs in the covers and sheets, they upgraded us but one man proceeded to lie about giving an extra bed when it is stated on their website they give it for a fee of 30 euros a day. The next day a lovely lady who checked us in the first day provided us with the extra bed, she was very helpful.

The Amrath Apart Hotel would have been a great place to stay if the room was cleaned.

Our room had brown splatter on the wall, dust bunnies and crumbs all over the floor.

There were dishes in the kitchenette area that we were free to use, but had to provide our own dish soap.

The shower flooded beyond the drain, so showers had to be very quick to avoid flooding the bathroom.

There seemed to be quite a communication barrier and we felt that we didn’t have an understanding of what we were supposed to do.

There is no on-site restaurant and the hotel is out of the centre, close to the hotel, which makes getting anywhere without a car a challenge.

The staff was polite and helpful to hail taxis for us, but the fare for a 1 way trip down to the centre of Amsterdam was € 40.00

Our room had 2 twin beds pushed together. As we were on our honeymoon, this made intimate activities super challenging. We both spent time falling into the space between the bed while we were trying to be close.

We are grateful that we had accommodations, but felt quite isolated while staying there

The hotel has certainly seen changes in the past 5 years. We were here in 2018 and had a wonderful time. This year, the amenities have certainly disappeared. No face cloths, kleenex in the rooms. Maid service, when done was good but, we only had them in twice in the two weeks we were there. The 24 hour grocery had certainly gone downhill. We used to get fresh fruit, baked goods, dairy, etc in the past. No more now. That was disappointing. The staff, however, were excellent! No complaints about the service.

Not that "warm"

Hotel is situated in very nice area.
Room was specious, clean and kitchen was equipped with kettle, little fridge and microwave.
Bathroom was clean and nice too.
There were just a few weak points.
Firstly service- receptionists looked annoyed every single time we asked anything. A big parking space infront of hotel is apparently for a short stay only (approx. 15), even though it was empty we were said to pay 5 EUR per night for the parking spot behind the hotel. When we asked receptionist if we can get our bins emptied, answer was firstly positive, but it never happened.
When we asked second time, her colleague just gave us two bin bags and informed us that we have to do it ourselves.
Overall, hotel property and rooms are very nice, but we definitely didn't feel welcomed.

Comfy beds though I wish it hadn’t been twin beds put together to make a full size because they kept slipping apart when we would sleep. The shower is very nice and it was great having a kitchen/fridge in the room with everything we’d need. The blinds need a bit of fixing as they were falling a bit on corners and they let in a lot of light. All in all it was a very nice place to stay and we slept very well.

The property is great value for money. You can save lots of money by preparing basic food thanks to the kitchen, which comes equipped with a sink, microwave, small refridgerator, and kettle. Public transit is an issue, and cycling to the city can take about 45-60 minutes. The apartment was also not cleaned on the sixth day. There's lots of space, however, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

the staff were all very helpful. The location is a bit out of the way, but worked well for us as it was a short driveto the train statuon or highway. There is a nice pub within walking distance as well as other restaurants. Having a kettle made coffee in the morning a breeze.

Property, for the most part, looks like photos. I did not get my original room booked as there was an emergency maintenance being performed. My party had to be split up for one night and I had to go to another hotel 20 minutes away while my remaining party stayed in a smaller room at Amrath. When I got to my newly assigned room they had no idea what was happening and did not have a room for me. Another story in itself, I will continue with Amrath. The second night we were put in a larger room than what I reserved. The location is not near anything of real walking based tourism, however, I enjoyed that feature. There were a few grocery choices within driving distance. Hotel advertises "The Food Market supplies a diverse range of products, including breakfast, main and side dishes and several home care products." That's definitely a stretch. This "amenity" is a main reason I booked the hotel. There may have been 6 frozen pizzas, a handful of potato chip/snack selections, ramen noodle soup, and some soda/juice/wine...nothing more. That was very disappointing. Which brings me to the "kitchenette" in the rooms. Not stocked for getting anything accomplished. 2 each of plates, bowls, drinking glasses and silverware. A microwave and fridge and sink. A tea kettle. Nothing else. Also misleading. Laundry on two floors, both had only one machine working. Guests lined up and jockeying to get to use it.

I really liked the set up of the rooms. They were very clean. Staff was helpful when needed. The bus stop is about a 20 min walk. I made the mistake of getting a GVB card and didn't realize it could not be used for all of the buses. That was completely my mistake. It was cold, windy and rainy so we ended up getting an uber to the bus stop quite a bit which got expensive. The shop downstairs was convenient however the pricing was sooooo inflated and we only bought when desparate for a snack or drink. There was no store close enough to walk to at night or in the cold. If the weather was better it would have been a better option. Just remember after walking all day that last 20 min walk is a killer!
