My family and I LOVED this hotel! Nice, large comfortable room with good space for 4 adults. Fantastic breakfast with good options for snacks and supper. Wonderful warm pool, steam and dry sauna, and weight room. There is laundry on site for a small fee(soap included), a market and a movie theater. Free shuttle from Schiphol airport and the return trip is 5 euros per person. We will come back!!

Room was not prepared before arrival. The sofa bed had a old chewing gum stuck on there and the bedding was not available. Had to spend the first night without proper bedding phone did not work and had to request three times. Coffee machine did not work and the pods were not availed only two small waters for four people stay. The towel also had a stain in general the house keeping was not great and staff were mot friendly.

Hotel is a joint property with Residence Inn, so we had a RI room-very nice and comfortable. The Expedia rate did not, unfortunately, include breakfast. As the hotel is very isolated, there were no alternatives. Hotel charges 5€ to shuttle back to airport- this is disclosed on the Expedia description

This could have been a 5 star review if it was not for waking up with bedbug bites all over my lower body. Room was gorgeous, staff was great, decent shuttle, and the room appeared to be clean. Amsterdam is known to have a major bed-bug issue, and unfortunately this hotel is one of them

Room is clean and spacious. Staff are great. To avail for airport shuttle, staff assisted in purchasing ticket for 5euro. Hotel is far from the city centre, but train ride and bus ride from the airport is ver easy and fast. Bus schedule times maybe a little bit delayed sometimes (5mins the most). Highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Amsterdam is a great city to visit, people are friendly, so many nice places to see. Food culture is alao great. Will definitely visit amsterdam again.

Airport shuttle easy to find only 10 mins from Schiphol airport. Free from airport 5 euros each to the airport. Corendon had a boeing 747 in the hotel grounds which could visit. There are three buildings including the urban reserved for refugees. A shop on site which was handy near main reception. We had several meals including breakfast, snacks and dinner during our 4 day stay. All food consistent with a stay at a marriott. Also used the swimming pool, sauna and steam rooms. Also a good gym which we didn't use. The quad room was a good size but pull out bed was squeeky though comfortable. Also used the skybar on the ninth floor with good views. Would stay here again.

The pool was great, the breakfast was very plentiful with a wide choice for everyone. The room was very good.
Only downside, was the buffet was the same every night, even though they said a special Easter breakfast and buffet. Also there were a couple of hidden charges to be aware of. This is the shuttle from the hotel to the airport and the parking.
I would be very happy to stay again

Amazing, loved the plane in the grounds, didn’t take breakfast but looked great and the golden buzzer in the lift is a great draw. Pool was good although if a family member opted out of swimming they couldn’t spectate due to automated showers. Parking is pricey.

Lift doesn't work which is understandable but there is nobody at reception to try to help guests which is absolutely unacceptable. We have a big luggage we have to move it from level 4 through stairs. lucky we are just at level 4.
There is a convenient store but prices are over double of normal price.
Ask them to call a taxi to centraal which i checked rated $30 by Uber but they charged us $70.

We had booked the Urban Hotel which was at the back of three hotels all in the same group. We followed the signage and arrived into a hotel which looked like it was used for asylum seekers. It was all chaotic. A man in a track suit came over after to us as we looked a bit lost due to no reception and informed us that there had been an issue and we are UPGRADED to the main hotel. We headed over to the main hotel to then be shown to the third one which was a residential hotel. The room was lovely, great amenities and spacious. Beds were comfortable and could not fault our stay in the room at all.

We have a pool loving daughter so this was one of the reasons we booked this hotel. On arrival we were told this was closed due to issues.

When we went back across to the main hotel which is shown on all the photos we found the receptionist to be not too helpful and short with us. We asked about a bus into town and she told us only the shuttle to the airport for £5 each. There is in fact a bus station which is about 15 mins walk.

Please make it clear when booking that URBAN is currently not in use so other people do not venture to the other side and have the same first experience as us. You need to also make it clear that the shuttle back to the airport is at a cost. We booked the hotel due to the free shuttle as we were staying a few days to explore Amsterdam.

The only drawbacks were 1) the hotel shuttle never came and 2) the reservation wasn’t actually at the Corendon, it was at its sister property the residence inn, which is across the parking lot. I wish the listing had been clearer.

Incredible stay here. It was just for one night before we traveled back home internationally, but it was SO nice I wish we’d either spent the maximum time we could there for the afternoon and next morning, or booked two nights. Great place to recharge at the end of a long trip and before a long flight.

The bedroom was completely silent and dark. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The room was huge and allowed us to spread all of our luggage back out and re-organize after all of our travel days on the road. The amenities in room were great too. The shuttle to and from the airport was great too and exactly on time.

I will always use this hotel when we come to Amsterdam as a place to recharge before and after long flights.

Really Great Location and Great Hotel, i would 100% stay there again when i am next in Amsterdam. The Spa was very nice considering its included in the price if staying there. Nice size Studios and having the Microwave and coffee machine was a great benefit. 👌

The only downside is you have to pay €5pp every time you catch the Shuttle from the Hotel to the Airport which is where you need to get to to get into Amsterdam central so can be come very costly, on average we was using it twice a day and was costing us an extra €20pd which can become very costly over a few days.

Wouldn't stay again. The room was clean and comfortable but the staff was not the friendliest. I booked the Corendon, but they put me in the neighboring Residence Inn. The shuttle was only free one way. The return to the airport was 5 euro per person. That isn't a lot, but free should be free. False advertising.

Bizarre experience. Paid for a double room and was sent to the neighboring hotel. The room was huge - even had a kitchen- but the bed was tiny. It wasn’t very comfortable. The rooftop bar was unbelievably horrible. Sooo dirty. Slow service, received the wrong drink twice. Crazy expensive. And same with the restaurant downstairs. €50 for a really terrible breakfast. And the worst part is you have to PAY for the shuttle to the airport which seems absolutely absurd

The check-in process was confusing from the start, as it did not take place at the Corendon Hotel as expected, but instead at a different location called Marriott Residence Inn. This lack of clarity set the tone for an uncomfortable stay.
After returning to the hotel one evening with my kids following a day out in the city, we were shocked to find several used undergarments left on the kitchen worktop. This was completely unacceptable and raised serious concerns about cleanliness and housekeeping standards. Unfortunately, the situation did not improve. The following day, we discovered yet another undergarment on the floor.
We reported these issues to reception, but the response was disappointing. The only compensation offered was one day of free breakfast, which did not feel appropriate given the severity of the situation.
Overall, this experience was very unpleasant, and it is difficult to overlook such serious lapses in hygiene and service.

Staff were fantastic. The room was in the aparthotel which I didn't realise, but it meant I had more room which was lovely. Great coffee machine in the room and the little self service shop was great. I only stayed one night after landing late at the airport and travelling onwards the next day. However I would definitely consider staying here again and enjoying more of the facilities which looked great.

We got put into the apartment side of the property. The ceiling was disgusting. It needs a repaint. The room itself was good sized and the beds clean and comfortable. When we got back on one of the days, the reception area had an overwhelming sewer smell due to a MTC issue. We had to stand waiting for help and felt terrible for the staff member working in it. Shuttle was good and timely. Hallways very dated and could use a thorough revamp. Did not use pool or restaurant as they were in the other building and don’t want to walk back in the cold after being in the pool.

The only thing I would say is the shuttle to the airport is €5 each passenger regardless of children, so was cheaper to get an uber. I don’t think the hotel should offer this with a charge!

My recent stay was extremely disappointing.

After traveling for seven hours, I was looking forward to resting during my layover before another nine-hour flight. Instead, I was moved between three different rooms due to unacceptable cleanliness issues.

The first room had bugs on the bed. The second and third rooms both had urine stains on the toilet seat and visible urine left in the toilet that had not been flushed. This level of hygiene is completely unacceptable for any hotel. I can only assume that this is a regular occurrence floor this hotel given that it happened consecutively across 3 rooms.

Despite the condition of the rooms, staff did not offer to have them cleaned while I waited. The repeated room changes delayed my check-in by approximately 1.5 hours, significantly reducing the limited time I had to rest and prepare for important morning meetings.

The night manager assured me that a senior manager would contact me to discuss a refund/next steps. I have yet to receive any follow-up communication.

Based on this experience, I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Clean and spacious room. Even though we could control the heater, it was still super cold inside the apartment.

The shuttle instructions was confusing and very disappointing. We took this place because of the shuttle service and proximity with the airport. However, the shuttle doesn’t show the name of the hotel and the picture in the ‘shuttle stop’ doesn’t match the actual shuttle. So we could not find the right shuttle and ended up getting a taxi since our baby was too cold to wait for another 30min.

The hotel is nice enough inside but the experience was seriously lacking.

Meant to be pay on arrival, free to cancel until midnight the day before arrival yet the hotel took money from my bank 2 days before arrival.

4 days before arrival I received an email informing me that there is €50 a night deposit, fine if you’re staying a night before a flight but when you’re staying 5 nights it’s a large chunk of extra cash to find 4 days before you go. It’s not stated anywhere on this site about it, nor upon booking.

I booked a room with double bed and sofa bed, I got a twin with a squeaky rickety old metal bed thing that my son refused to sleep on so he ended up on the sofa for the entire stay.

The rooms are apparently sound proofed, but the room in our room didn’t seal closed properly so the room was in fact not sound proofed nor draught proof.

The hotel sat and show in pictures that shampoo/conditioner/body gel are provided in bathrooms.. the bottle dispensers in my room were empty and I asked for them to be filled. When I left after 5 days they were still empty.

We went to the cafe in the main building, to be told to take a seat and someone would take our order. After 27 mins of waiting we left and went elsewhere for coffee and food.

Overall it’s probably the worst stay I’ve had in 9 visits to Amsterdam. Have stayed in many Marriott bonvoy hotels and this has possibly been the worst experience so far. Would not stay again.

Would rate this as a bit better charter hotel, for tourist having a very early flight next day. The location was good, quite close (9min by car) to airport with a nice modern lobby and simple, but clean and functional room. We were 4 (2 adults and 2 teens) and the room was spacious. The gym and pool were ok. We had dinner at the hotel, an all you can eat buffet for a fair price and for being a buffet, quite tasty. The breakfast was standard, what you can expect from a hotel with most likely majority charter tourists. Staff was friendly, as mostly in the Netherlands. Overall, a good hotel but not a business traveller place.

It was just an hassle. No shuttle transport from the airport and it was so cold at the airport. I had to pay for the taxi which so expensive. The pool is incredibly beautiful; you can look out the window, and sometimes the water is heated when there are swimming lessons for children. The rooms (apartments) were very spacious. We really appreciated the friendly receptionist's solution-oriented approach and smiles. The food was excellent, the restaurant was very comfortable, and there was a large copper samovar for Turkish tea. It's incredible. There's a parking lot, and there's also free parking next to the hotel. Getting into the city by car was very easy.

First, let me say that this is a nice hotel is you’re looking for something close to Schiphol airport. Good value for the price paid.

The reason for my low rating is due to the fact that it was not clear where the check-in area was: I booked at the Urban hotel got dropped off there by my taxis with my 2 suitcases only to be told to go back to the main hotel reception to check in. There was no mention of this in my booking or on the hotel website.

The security guard at the Urban told me that I would get an upgrade as a result which obviously was not the case. I have worked in customer service and can accept errors but please don’t make promises you can’t follow through with.

The other item I disliked was the fact there was no way to turn off the lights in the bathroom. When I called, I was told I should wait a couple of minutes as they turn off automatically. This is only the case IF the 2 bathroom doors are perfecty closed. It’s also annoying when you’re trying to sleep right away to get this light coming through the glass bathroom doors.

Otherwise, the hotel was on.

LISA greeted me at the front desk, quickly, efficiently and professionally and cheerfully. She gave me lots of tips and pointers about how to use the facility and the pool and the breakfast area. The room was clean, sharply appointed, elegant, in its simplicity, and far more than I expected. I was very, very pleased. The water and the coffee maker were above and beyond. I will stay here again.
