Shuttle was good, easy to find and reasonably priced. Free from Airport/ 5 Euros from hotel. Restaurants were busy but staff did well based on how busy they were. Fine for a quick overnight stay for an early flight the next day. We did find a nice walking path near some canals/waterways that we enjoyed in the morning.

We got put into the apartment side of the property. The ceiling was disgusting. It needs a repaint. The room itself was good sized and the beds clean and comfortable. When we got back on one of the days, the reception area had an overwhelming sewer smell due to a MTC issue. We had to stand waiting for help and felt terrible for the staff member working in it. Shuttle was good and timely. Hallways very dated and could use a thorough revamp. Did not use pool or restaurant as they were in the other building and don’t want to walk back in the cold after being in the pool.

Perfect stay with our children. Lovely hotel and apartments, beds were super comfortable.
The only thing I would say is the shuttle to the airport is €5 each passenger regardless of children, so was cheaper to get an uber. I don’t think the hotel should offer this with a charge!

My recent stay was extremely disappointing.

After traveling for seven hours, I was looking forward to resting during my layover before another nine-hour flight. Instead, I was moved between three different rooms due to unacceptable cleanliness issues.

The first room had bugs on the bed. The second and third rooms both had urine stains on the toilet seat and visible urine left in the toilet that had not been flushed. This level of hygiene is completely unacceptable for any hotel. I can only assume that this is a regular occurrence floor this hotel given that it happened consecutively across 3 rooms.

Despite the condition of the rooms, staff did not offer to have them cleaned while I waited. The repeated room changes delayed my check-in by approximately 1.5 hours, significantly reducing the limited time I had to rest and prepare for important morning meetings.

The night manager assured me that a senior manager would contact me to discuss a refund/next steps. I have yet to receive any follow-up communication.

Based on this experience, I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Clean and spacious room. Even though we could control the heater, it was still super cold inside the apartment.

The shuttle instructions was confusing and very disappointing. We took this place because of the shuttle service and proximity with the airport. However, the shuttle doesn’t show the name of the hotel and the picture in the ‘shuttle stop’ doesn’t match the actual shuttle. So we could not find the right shuttle and ended up getting a taxi since our baby was too cold to wait for another 30min.

The hotel is nice enough inside but the experience was seriously lacking.

Meant to be pay on arrival, free to cancel until midnight the day before arrival yet the hotel took money from my bank 2 days before arrival.

4 days before arrival I received an email informing me that there is €50 a night deposit, fine if you’re staying a night before a flight but when you’re staying 5 nights it’s a large chunk of extra cash to find 4 days before you go. It’s not stated anywhere on this site about it, nor upon booking.

I booked a room with double bed and sofa bed, I got a twin with a squeaky rickety old metal bed thing that my son refused to sleep on so he ended up on the sofa for the entire stay.

The rooms are apparently sound proofed, but the room in our room didn’t seal closed properly so the room was in fact not sound proofed nor draught proof.

The hotel sat and show in pictures that shampoo/conditioner/body gel are provided in bathrooms.. the bottle dispensers in my room were empty and I asked for them to be filled. When I left after 5 days they were still empty.

We went to the cafe in the main building, to be told to take a seat and someone would take our order. After 27 mins of waiting we left and went elsewhere for coffee and food.

Overall it’s probably the worst stay I’ve had in 9 visits to Amsterdam. Have stayed in many Marriott bonvoy hotels and this has possibly been the worst experience so far. Would not stay again.

Would rate this as a bit better charter hotel, for tourist having a very early flight next day. The location was good, quite close (9min by car) to airport with a nice modern lobby and simple, but clean and functional room. We were 4 (2 adults and 2 teens) and the room was spacious. The gym and pool were ok. We had dinner at the hotel, an all you can eat buffet for a fair price and for being a buffet, quite tasty. The breakfast was standard, what you can expect from a hotel with most likely majority charter tourists. Staff was friendly, as mostly in the Netherlands. Overall, a good hotel but not a business traveller place.

It was just an hassle. No shuttle transport from the airport and it was so cold at the airport. I had to pay for the taxi which so expensive. When we came to the hotel the reception staffs were helpful and they said someonelse will come to do the booking because it was from Expedia. Overall journey to the hotel was expensive and tiring.

The pool is incredibly beautiful; you can look out the window, and sometimes the water is heated when there are swimming lessons for children. The rooms (apartments) were very spacious. We really appreciated the friendly receptionist's solution-oriented approach and smiles. The food was excellent, the restaurant was very comfortable, and there was a large copper samovar for Turkish tea. It's incredible. There's a parking lot, and there's also free parking next to the hotel. Getting into the city by car was very easy.

First, let me say that this is a nice hotel is you’re looking for something close to Schiphol airport. Good value for the price paid.

The reason for my low rating is due to the fact that it was not clear where the check-in area was: I booked at the Urban hotel got dropped off there by my taxis with my 2 suitcases only to be told to go back to the main hotel reception to check in. There was no mention of this in my booking or on the hotel website.

The security guard at the Urban told me that I would get an upgrade as a result which obviously was not the case. I have worked in customer service and can accept errors but please don’t make promises you can’t follow through with.

The other item I disliked was the fact there was no way to turn off the lights in the bathroom. When I called, I was told I should wait a couple of minutes as they turn off automatically. This is only the case IF the 2 bathroom doors are perfecty closed. It’s also annoying when you’re trying to sleep right away to get this light coming through the glass bathroom doors.

Otherwise, the hotel was on.

LISA greeted me at the front desk, quickly, efficiently and professionally and cheerfully. She gave me lots of tips and pointers about how to use the facility and the pool and the breakfast area. The room was clean, sharply appointed, elegant, in its simplicity, and far more than I expected. I was very, very pleased. The water and the coffee maker were above and beyond. I will stay here again.

The only downside was getting the security deposit returned; it was surprisingly difficult and took far too long. It’s frustrating because no one does a proper check-in inspection, so there’s no clear baseline for comparison at check out. It makes the whole deposit process feel pointless and unfair.

This was a great hotel. We were upgraded from a standard room to an apartment and breakfast. The staff were friendly and very helpful (thank you, Lisa!) and helped us modify a dinner reservation and get a taxi.
The hotel was very clean, the buffet great and there was free shuttle service to the airport every half hour. We were not there long enough to try out the pool or the cinema, but nice to know they existed. There is a small convenience shop as well.
About a block from the hotel is a bus station with service into Amsterdam. Depending upon where you want to go, it may be easier to take the shuttle to the airport and the train to Centraal Station.
I would definitely stay there again.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were all friendly and helpful, but I especially want to mention Monica from the swimming section — she was absolutely amazing! 🌟

Room was great for my 13 year old twins, myself and my 68 year old mother. We enjoyed the airplane tour and the pool was great. Some of the front desk staff were nice but some were very rude. I had to argue with them almost everyday about the breakfast buffet. It was included in my booking but I had to wait in line at the front desk every morning and show them the booking to get a voucher because they never added our room or name to the print out that the restaurant staff had. The shuttle bus to the airport was very nice. The driver in the evenings was awesome. I think his name was Dennis. He was very entertaining and personable. Some woman drove her car right into the side of the bus (no way he could have avoided the collision), but he remained calm and made sure everyone was okay. We were really glad to see him back the next day for our final trip back to the airport. We were a little disappointed that we couldn’t rent the bicycles as advertised. Apparently they didn’t have the keys for all the bikes sitting outside. My kids had really been looking forward to exploring the neighborhood on bikes. Overall, I would recommend staying here.
