The room is as tidy, the São Paulo room was as it should be, it was cheap and cheerful! Staff go above and beyond for you here in the Osdorp hotel, from plasters for blistered feet, to even a small hand towel for you to wipe your bike down when it’s wet from the rain, these guys really care here!

If you want a welcoming, cozy place to stay, not too far from the central this is it! Me and my partner both stayed here and it was cracking. Public transport within a quick walk, hire a bike to get around, it is all available to you from here! Would 100% book again.

Everything at the hotel was very clean… Staff was courteous and very helpful. One suggestion I might make is to lighten up on the bleach… When I walked into my room, it was such a strong smell that my eyes began to water.
I opened the window so that was helpful. Other than that, I love the place. I will be back.

We saw different photos online regarding the rooms. The room we had was supposed to fit 4. We barely could move, the was no room for anything. We had to take turns taking our suitcases out and had to live out of our suitcases because there was not enough space to put why things

The staff was by far the best part. They were absolutely awesome. Friendly, helpful.

The area was convenient as the tram was right outside. Grocery store across and a lot of shopping.

I would stay again if the rooms were more spacious.

Hotel is located in a very convenient area for shops and transport into the city centre. However, we had an issue with our card during to check in and the staff were very rude and no help on how we should solve it. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone unless they needed to be in the area for any reason.

The staff sometimes seems annoyed to be helpful. One in particular, but this is third tine I have stayed here and I think it is pretty consistent…there is always one who acts like it is my great privilege to stay there and they are bothered by the presence of paying customers.
Also, many people cone to your hotel exhausted after traveling many hours to get to Europe. A little kindness goes a long ways.

We booked a triple room, so I assumed the room size would accommodate a triple bed. However, they had simply added a bed to the same double room, removed a chair so there was no sitting place, the washroom with the glass door and see-through margins were very small and just overlooked the bed. So, if you are with your family or kids, it is not a very good situation. The room has zero walking space, and the basin is in the room. So, you had to go out of the washroom to wash your hands. This hotel is only good for single or double rooms; if you have more than 2 members, better to book 2 double rooms. The triple rooms are useless. Plus, although the location of the hotel is good. It is surrounded by markets, and access to the hotel requires a brief walk. So, if you have mobility issues, then not recommended. The cafe is good.

Really lovely hotel, staff friendly and the dining room and bar area were nicely decorated.

We asked for a room with a window. Room was decorated really lovely but it was so small.
Bed is wall to wall, so you have to crawl to end of bed to get out of bed. There is with a metre width between end of bed and sink.

Shower room was decorated well good size shower and toilet, no hand basin… had to you the one in bedroom.

Overall if you’re looking for somewhere to sleep only it’s ok. Room is so small to spent time in there and relax.

Great reasonably priced hotel, with easy public transit both from the airport on bus 369 and tram 17 to the museum district and Centraal Station. Staff is very helpful, with a shout-out to Attila. The shopping center has everything you would ever need, and there are several nice restaurants nearby. Highly recommended.

We are not happy with this booking as we paid £600 for this for 5 days which is quite a lot as we wanted a nice hotel we saw the staff clean every room but ours which we aren’t happy about as we felt like our room was avoided for some reason and we aren’t happy as part of the service charge is for cleaning, they came in each day and changed one small towel which was big enough for your hair not body each day still left the bins and everything else in place didn’t even change the bed once in 5 days which I think is ridiculous,the rooms were extremely small which we can’t complain about as we were aware of this before booking but another problem was with the mattress hanging off the bed which caused us to trip over quite a lot which I would say is a general health and safety issue as I fell forward into the cupboards a number of times and but in general the only thing we couldn’t complain about were the reception staff who were lovely and friendly. I would like someone to look at a partial refund as we are not happy at the fact everyone we were aware of staying the hotel had their rooms cleaned and ours wasn’t as we feel this is targeted and unfair as this is a service we pay for included in this price

Citiez is a very nice place to stay as the bedrooms are well-designed and comfy and the staff are helpful and friendly.

Bed was squeaky, behind the bed where the curtains were seemed like hasn’t been dusted in years and you can hear everyone through the walls of your room, especially the corridor. No soap provided ( which is a first for me in a hotel) as well as no bin provided.

Only saving grace is the staff as they were lovely and the location is very close to local shops and tram stop to get you into the centre in about 25 minutes. Parking is also free with a charge of 10 euro if you’d like to leave more than once and enter again which is alright considering amsterdams prices.

I would not stay again willingly, spend a bit extra and get something that isn’t as noisy

Good place to stay

This hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff were generally friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the West Market food court nearby for quick meals. There is a tram that runs to Central Station, making it easy to get to museums and other sites close to the center. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would stay again.

The room we had was smaller than the ones in Japan, it was clean but they don’t make up the bed after cleaning, there was a wall on either side of the wall. I booked this from reviews from Expedia, This hotel is a 3/5, there are shops and a supermarket close by. I cancelled my other hotel from the reviews I saw but now I’m regretting it. This is my honest opinion, my wife and I travel a lot, just wanted my honest review out there. Hope it helps others.

Le métro, juste au pied de l’hôtel, est à 30 min de centrale station sans changement.

Price wise was fine but we spent a lot on trams and Ubers as a fair distance from the center of things

Had a great time here when visiting Amsterdam on a girls trip. Staff were lovely, hotel was nice and so was the basic breakfast. The only negative was the size of the room, and they didn't clean our room everyday. Other than that, would highly recommend.
Great location a couple minutes work to the tram that goes directly to the city center and the bus goes directly to the airport.

First of all I came downstairs in early mornings around 1 on my first night due to lack of tea. No staffs fault but they saw me and they behaved in a way to relate to a geust. The whole crew worked as a team. The night shift behave in a way.. your problem is our problem. Each team that covered all shifts worked in harmony which is nice to see . They were funny and had their own individual characters. All the staff I had the chance to meet were respectable dutch citizens proud showing me off their style ,cultural heritage. All of them looked after their own clients as if it was their own family. One of the best place to stay. The crew ..not the staff made a difference. Hotel is always a building but the crew brought the reputation and everything else that followed

Easy transport links into Amsterdam number 17 tram and 369 bus link to airport just a couple of minutes away. Breakfast great with plenty to choose from and served from 7.00.Plenty of choice of places to eat in the area plus a shopping centre useful in case you have forgotten anything! Will definitely stay here again, room very clean with comfortable bed, important after a day of walking around Amsterdam! Room was filthy. When i say filthy the matress cover had dirt stains, blood stains, and hair. When you see the pictures online of a small room yes it's small but even smaller than that. There was only one person at the hotel who tried to be helpful the othet staff member was not only not helpful but combative. It took many discussions to get a a refund through expedia amd we were left with finding a new place to stay that same day.

Very budget and small room but practical use of the small room. Since it is small and cramped, ventilation is poor. Bed wasn't very comfortable but manageable. Service was very very amazing. Staff are very helpful. You cam walk 2 minutes out to the gvb line to take you to Amsterdam city center. Also nearby food and grocery stores/shops. Great location.
