This hotel is above average breakfast was very good the breakfast staff were great the young member of staff on the night shift was not helpful as we had no plug for sink and could not understand that it is quite difficult to shave in the sink without one but the rest of the staff were very helpful and polite.

Sink water pressure was extremely high and the faucet was lopsided along with toilet paper holder. Main light above the sink in the bathroom was not working in addition to the mini fridge which would not get cold. Also safe in the room did nor have instructions on it as to how to open and close it.

Great place to land with our bikes and luggage after a flight from Canada. Clean, comfy rooms and a long enough bike ride from the airport to shake off the jet lag. We appreciated the quiet rooms, a place to store our bikes and the tasty breakfast buffet. Right on the edge of the Amsterdam Bos for walks and good restaurants close by.

The hotel was nice and quiet. Check in and checkout were very easy. It is evident it was recently renovated or new, but the edges of the showers are very black and mildewy which was kind of gross. The beds were a weird 3 inch mattress on top of some other mattress which was surprisingly comfortable but would shift a lot when you slept. It was easy to get to downtown with the transit station nearby and the neighborhood it is in is very nice and safe. Overall I would stay again for the cost we paid.

Stayed here for Dekmantel and really enjoyed being close to the festival. There are a couple breakfast and lunch/dinner spots very close by which makes it convenient. The rooms are small but economical. My only complaint is that the AC was centrally controlled and off during my stay.

My stay was ok. The stabilizer under the mattress was disgusting and need to be vacuumed at the least. This made my entire stay uncomfortable.

Everything was great overall. However, I had a couple of issues: the TV required an HDMI cable for casting or Bluetooth connection, which I wasn’t informed about beforehand. Additionally, the room felt quite cold, and adjusting the thermostat didn’t seem to make a difference.

We had arrived late in total darkness so headed straight to sleep, we expected the bed to be a double however was in fact 2 singles placed together - including separate duvets sets. As a couple we tried to make this work however the mattresses kept coming apart and you would sink in between the 2 beds, furthermore the mattresses themselves were rather thin.
Additionally, the room doors despite having a turn lock do not function and you have no additional security other than the key card. This made us feel uncomfortable as anyone else with a working key card would be able to enter.
In the morning we woke up to notice a food stain on the pillow and duvet. Rather than immediately go to the front desk to resolve this we expected room service to sort as we left for the day. However, upon returning and the room service sign removed from our door, our bed still wasn’t made and we were only provided with fresh towels, our body wash wasn’t restocked either. This was a clear indication to us that the rooms and bedding are not properly, if not at all, cleaned. As such, we had to leave a written note for the staff to actually make the bed.
Finally, the room quality whilst modern wasn’t great. The air conditioning is either very poor or simply doesn’t function; the tv was broken; and the hotel lacks soundproofing.
Overall, I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again, however it is situated in a quiet area next to a frequent bus service taking 30 minutes into Amsterdam which was very handy.

Don't expect much and you will be fine. 20mins from Amsterdam on the 357 and they are really regular. Staff barely spoke or smiled. Room was not cleaned, they made the bed but with the same linen. This boutique hotel exceeded our expectations on so many levels. The hotel is tastefully decorated to a very high standard and the self-service breakfast was amazing - such qood quality food and enough choice to fill you up. The only negative is that it is quite far out from the city centre. The nearest tram stop (Kronenburg) is a brisk 10mins walk on flat pavements and there are buses just outside the hotel as well. The surrounding area is pretty much suburbia so it is safe, quiet and peaceful.

Unfortunately, the stay at this hotel was tad disappointing. The room was not cleaned properly - the items including the desk, the bedside cabinets and the floor carpet were covered in dust. Additionally, water drain in the shower was not working properly, making it hard to take a shower without flooding the bathroom after a few minutes. Upon reporting these two issues early in the morning the next day, the room was neither tidied up to a higher standard, nor the issue with the water drainage were resolved. One of the receptions also seemed disengaged when having been informed about the issues (however, the other one was more interested and noted it down later).

My flight was cancelled due to the global IT failure and i contacted the hotel at the earliest opportunity to inform them. I didnt expect a refund but i hoped they would show some discretion given my misfortune and offer something in return. Forest Motel is close to the airport and has easy access to public transport. They have a lift which makes carrying heavy bags a lot easier and the breakfast was great. The area felt safe and there are enough local restaurants to get by for a short stay. There is also a supermarket within walking distance. Would recommend this place :)

Our stay was just ok. Bathroom was extremely small, even more than other European hotels we've stayed at. Was not a big fan of the bed topper over the two twin beds. It was very quiet at night which was wonderful, but that meant we were not really close to a lot of amenities, restaurants, or sights. However if you can figure out the public transit or brave enough to bike, then the location is nice out of the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam if you prefer to stay a little bit away. The breakfast was good, so if you are considering eating there before heading out for the day, then pre-purchase this option which will save you a few euros. The cleanliness was ok, bathroom had mold.

Great location. The rooms were nice. I found the breakfast and parking to be great deals. The bar only serves beer and wine with a very limited selection. I think i may have been overcharged for the wine, but I was in a rush to get to the airport when i checked out and foolishly didn’t get an invoice. Found it strange that I couldnt charge wine and breakfast to the card on file when I checked out. Also wish the rooms had a box of tissues Used too much TP because there were no tissues and had to go to the front desk to get more. Despite these minor isdues this is a nice hotel and i would consider staying here again.

We were not able to find this place after arriving late at night. No lights or signage to indicate where the hotel was. We had to leave without staying. We use public transportation, and this hotel was far out enough from city center that it needs to be take in consideration transit time from the city center.

Hotel is located in a quiet, mainly residential neighborhood about 15 - 20 minutes from Schipol airport by taxi. In general, the premises are fine but the decor and lighting make it look and feel gloomy. Our room was small but clean and comfortable. Very little noise. The breakfast was good. The staff were helpful. For a modest hotel, it’s fine for an overnight stay.
