The rooms and all areas were always clean. The pools very nice, clean and clear- fun. The staff are the best. They treat all with respect and are always there to answer any questions, very friendly. I love the room service, the food is awesome everywhere you go. Love the disco, the jacuzzi in the room, the drinks. I love everything about this magical paradise in earth. I wished I was there for just more than 4 days/nights. Planning to go back early next year.

We had an amazing stay at Majestic Elegance Punta Cana. The nightly themes and entertainment were always fun and kept every evening exciting. A huge shoutout to the animation team for their energy, enthusiasm, and amazing shows—they truly made our vacation even more enjoyable!

The staff consistently went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Special thanks to Ana Maria for keeping our room beautifully decorated and fully stocked every day, and to Melvin, our butler, for his outstanding service and attention to every detail.

We found a roach in our room also the hotel is very old and the food was near average.

They also didn’t have a good Dominican restaurant in 4 days I stayed only experienced 1 Dominican night in the buffet.

AMAZING!!! The vibe was so tranquil, the food was amazing and offerings were abundant, drinks were strong, entertainment was fun, other guests were great, the beach was so peaceful, the pools were the perfect temperature and so beautiful, the rooms and all of the facilities were cleaned to the max, and the staff was wonderful!
The staff truly featured some of the most hard working individuals ever from the cleaning staff, grounds and maintenance, wait and bussing staff, bartenders, butlers, hosts and hostesses, musicians, and all of the behind the scenes people we never get to see; the list could goes on of how many hardworking and dedicated, friendly staff members we were surrounded by.
My husband and I couldn’t have been happier.
Our butler Santiago was amazing he helped us with everything and went above and beyond every step of the way.
We can’t wait to go back!

Majestic Elegance appeared, at first glance, to be an incredible vacation. In some respects it was, but in others it wasn't. The beach was full of seaweed and the water look brown from so much of the stuff. Employees did scrape the sand every morning but to no avail. The room I had requested on the top floor wasn't available for starters and it was a bit out dated. The iron was burnt and the jacuzzi was dirty with hair. No one came to wash it out after I let our butler know and I had to clean it. Our butler welcomed us on the first day and gave us a tour of the place in a record five minutes and we barely saw him after that. I did get general what's app messages from him on a daily basis. On one occasion I wrote him to ask him to make reservations at the Japanese restaurant for me. He wrote me back and told me he would get back to me, but he apparently forgot and I had to make them myself for 9p.m. which was pretty late to be eating dinner. I wasn't expecting a butler when we arrived, but I thought, wow, this is pretty cool, but he wasn't available like I thought he would be. There were a group of employees/ waiters who made our stay extra special by setting up tables with flowers and fancy napkins, but after a couple of days you realized that this was there way to get more tips from you. On our last morning there we had no special treatment but instead were sat down in a far right corner table of the huge restaurant and pretty much treated like a fond memory. Sayonara

Absolutely nothing good about this place. The entertainment staff begs people to give them good reviews after dancing around or playing games. That's how this place has good reviews. The resort is very old and not maintained. Most of the pool tiles were missing and come off as you swim. Food has no taste and is always cold. Zero hygiene and zero food handling skills. Most of the staff are not friendly and can't speak English which makes it difficult to communicate. Even the vendors walking around the beach told us that this is not a good resort.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, but maintenance was lacking. The A/C in one of our friends room stopped working on the second night, and although they were temporarily moved to an upgraded room, having to move back the next day was inconvenient.

Service fell below expectations. Many staff members did not speak English, and we were disappointed when the two beds promised for our children were replaced by a sofa bed.

The pool is large but needs renovation, with several loose and missing tiles “safety concern”. The beach is beautiful, but seaweed and persistent vendors detracted from the experience.

The entertainment team was excellent and one of the highlights of our stay. Overall, despite some positives, we would not return.

We had a room with direct access to the pool with the swim up bar which was convenient. The pool itself need a lot of work, tiles were coming up everywhere. The grounds were beautiful and easy access to the beach. Staff were great, friendly and helpful.

Everything was great. Besides the fact that upon entering the buffet you have to have on a shirt. Some days I was noticing some people not having on a shirt over their swimsuits. Besides that, my family and I had an amazing time celebrating my son’s 21st birthday. Also, this was my great nephew and niece first time traveling out the country (ages 3 and 1). I’ve visited Punta Cana multiple times, this was my first time at majestic elegance. It was a lot of walking as well. I stayed in the room with my mother and my 14yo daughter. Had I knew there would be lots of walking, I would have asked for a room on the lower level being that my mom is a little older and she suffers from back pains. Thank you majestic elegance.

I was disappointed with my recent stay at Majestic Elegance. I had higher expectations for the overall experience, but unfortunately, they were not met. I chose to return to Majestic Resorts because I had a wonderful stay last year at Majestic Colonial, which led me to try Majestic Elegance this time.
Regrettably, my experience at Majestic Elegance did not match my previous visit. The food quality was poor, with very limited lunch options—particularly at the beach restaurant. Additionally, not all staff members were pleasant or welcoming, which negatively impacted the overall experience. Also for the housekeeping staff, it appeared that neither the pillowcases nor the sheets were changed regularly.
Due to these concerns, I do not plan to return to Majestic Elegance in the future.

The Majestic Elegance is a great resort for its price point. One of the things we liked most was how spacious the common areas were. The theater, plaza, and lobby all have ample seating so you are never fighting for a spot. The beach was also very nice. We really enjoyed the night time entertainment. The shows were good and the after parties in the plaza were fun. The nightclub was good, but is very loud (yes I am old). The staff was great, very courteous and helpful. Now for some of the complaints. The food was okay. The buffet food was run of the mill and nothing really to write home about. We only ate at one sit down restaurant, the seafood restaurant, and that food was really good, but portions were small. We had a swim out room close to the lobby and discovered that the pool outside the room is separated by a waterfall from the main pool so you do have to get out then back in if swimming to the main pool from your room. We were on the family side I can't speak for the adults only (The Club) side. The entertainment during the day at the pool was so so. They had a foam party one day, but the other days it was very short non-exciting events like spinning a wheel. The solicitors at the beach are non-stop, like every 5-10 minutes you are being bugged. The casino is small and has a bunch of machines and only a few table games. I am not really a gambler, but for those who are, don't expect Vegas. The hours posted for the buffet by the beach didn't match its actual open hours.

I tried to called room Services and never got answered. This happened on 3 different nights. The resort is extremely safe. They really do not let anyone in. I called for an Uber and they drove me to the gate for the Uber. They would not let tge Uber in. Food were average. The steak at the steakhouse was not from quality meat.

Amazing! Our butler, Marcelo, was so attentive during our whole stay. The room was beautiful and spacious. The bed was comfortable and there was ample closet space. Housekeeping did a wonderful job all week. The hotel grounds and common areas were lovely. The beach was dreamy. We spent a lot of time by the club pool near the beach, but we explored many different areas and included activities. Majalynn from the animation team invited us to join in with foam pool party, bingo, hat making, and games. She was great and we had so much fun sampling the different activities. We were impressed with the talent of the live music and shows in the evening. Our interactions with the staff were honestly the highlight of the trip!! Felix, Loida, and Indira at the Club Pool Bar made sure we had everything we could possibly need. Alejandro and the pool crew brought us clean beach towels every morning and kept the Bali beds and pool area pristine. Eddy and San Pedro on the beach cleaning crew went above and beyond. The food was excellent. We tried it all, everything was delicious and and there was good variety. We connected with some of the servers and bartenders who consistently went the extra mile to make us feel pampered. Especially Rosemary, Yessica, Masiel, Iselio, Kevin at Il Bottaccio; Nurys, Wander, Jorge, Wagner at Mar House; Pedro, Santiago at El Asadito; Juan Pablo, Wander at Gourmand; Miguel Angelo and Israel at 9 Doors; Indera at the coffee shop; Sondra and Maria at lobby bar.❤️❤️

Great resort. We upgraded once there to the club level which is adults only. We liked the food very much, amenities were nice and the employees are super friendly, specially the bartenders at club C pool bar: Anyelina, Marilania, Maxima, Rosa & Waillon. At Club level we got Victor, our own butler and he was also very helpful. Another thing I was very grateful for was this hotel cleans the seaweed from the beach several times a day. We will definitely come back next year with the rest of our family.

As a solo traveler, I had the best time at Majestic Elegance. My personal butler, Dario went over the top to make my experience perfect. The Club bartenders Máxima and Angelina were so fun and sweet. Joel was so fun and helpful too. I highly recommend the swim up rooms and sneaking food to the cats!

If I had to complain about 1 thing, it would be that the men have to wear pants in both the Italian and French restaurants. Even at night this time of year, it is 85° at the resort. So no one in our family brought pants. And we felt like we missed out on two good dinners because of a silly rule.

Everyone was so accommodating and amazing. From the moment we walked into the hotel, a lady walked up to us and handed us drinks and said “welcome”. The grounds were beautiful. We spent most of our time at the beach and our waiters Erik and Ronnie took great care of us. Made sure we had what we needed and after the first couple times of telling them our order, we never had to tell him again, he just brought out our drinks to us when he saw we were low lol. The food was on point and there were multiple restaurants to choose from. We travel a lot and we give this place a 10/10 for sure. We'll definitely be going back.

The resort is beautiful! The staff is constantly walking around picking up leaves, cleaning pools, rooms or whatever. The rooms were a little stuffy at night, but amazing otherwise. You will do a lot of walking so be prepared for that. Pools are beautiful. Some missing tiles but it doesn’t take away from the beauty and coolness. There are a lot of options for food most are ok. 9 Doors the Japanese restaurant was the best food we ate. Make sure to stop by the Plaza Bar and see Ana Maria she is fantastic.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately this was my experience.

I booked a swim-up suite for my anniversary and birthday trip. From the moment we entered the room, there was a strong musty/mildew smell. We opened the sliding doors to air it out, ordered room service, and tried to rest after a long travel day. Unfortunately, the odor remained and there were frequent loud noises coming from the area next door.

When I became ill, I asked if tea and toast could be brought to the room, but was told only menu items could be ordered. Over the next couple of days, the smell and noise continued, and by the third day I was exhausted and my anxiety was through the roof.

After completing a guest survey, a manager contacted me. I explained the situation and was told there was no construction taking place. However, I had photos showing work being done next door, which appeared to be the source of both the noise and odor. An upgrade was offered, which I appreciated, but by that point I no longer felt well enough to continue my stay.

Despite spending a significant amount of money on what was supposed to be a special 7-day vacation, I checked out after only 3 days. I was disappointed that no compensation or partial refund was offered for the disruption.

I understand that others have had wonderful experiences here, and this review reflects only my personal experience. However, I do not believe guests should be placed next to active construction or be lied to. Thank you.

Our stay at the Majestic Elegance was amazing. I would rate the resort a 10 out of 10 - make sure to book \"The Club\" - the extras are well worth the cost. The most impressive part was the staff, they really made the entire experience a pleasure. It started with Olbis, our dedicated concierge. He checked in with us every day, made our check in process completely painless and was an excellent resource. The Club included exclusive pools, two exclusive coffee bars that also had sandwiches, water, clean towels and the staff there was rather helpful. Our room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable and the cleaning folks were outstanding.

There are way too many to restaurant staff to mention here, but a special shout out to Noel (steakhouse), Bethania (Japanese restaurant- she always kept my glass of Mamajuana full and was an absolute pleasure), Carlos (Italian restaurant), Rosemery (fine dining restaurant) along with Randel and Darleny (buffet). These kind folks adopted the four of as part of their family.

We are already looking forward to next year!

I have been to Majestic in both Punta Cana and Cancun before. I really liked i! It was my go-to when it comes to these destinations. I trusted it so much that I invited my parents to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary there while me and my husband were celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary. We travelled together and I contacted Majestic way ahead to inform them about the occasions and express how special this trip is for us. This was my parent's first time at Majestic...

Let's start with the fact that despite my messages and communication with Majestic before the trip, there was no recognition of our anniversary whatsoever. Such a disappointment as we were walking around the resort seeing \"Happy Anniversary\" or \"Welcome back\" at the doors of other client... My parents, however, for their 30th anniversary got a door with a \"Happy Birthday\" label!!!! That was such a shame!
Our rooms were close to each other only because the receptionist REQUESTED a good tip to put us closer. She literally said \"I can give you rooms close to each other if you give me a good tip. If not, you will be far from each other and from the beach\". How ridiculous of a greeting!
The \"better\" rooms we got, were right by the Colonial section of Majestic that was under active demolishing process so the view and noise were just making this all worse. The food and service definitely declined here and we WON'T BE BACK.
Majestic is not what it used to be and I highly recommend to avoid it!

Our stay at Majestic Elegance Punta Cana was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, everything was beautiful, clean, relaxing, and welcoming. The rooms were huge, spotless, and absolutely gorgeous. Every restaurant we visited was amazing with delicious food, great service, and so many options to choose from.

The entertainment every night was so much fun and kept the resort full of energy. What truly made this trip unforgettable though was the amazing staff. Everyone was kind, attentive, and went above and beyond every single day to make sure we had the best experience possible.

A very special thank you to Orlando, our butler, for taking such amazing care of us throughout our stay. Your kindness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed!

Everything about this hotel is EXCEPTIONAL!! The food is 10/10 the service 10/10 the entertainment team 10/10 and the servers from El Asadito also went above and beyond for our stay. Special recognition to Santiago, Tomas, Pepa and El sabroso. I definitely recommend staying here.

Great resort! Staff is excellent! Rooms look great. Family pool is tired many missing tiles needs to be replaced. Adults pool is in great shape. Food is ok but i am picky lately so dont go by me. There are many selections so there is plenty to choose from. My favorite was the Italian restaurant. Spa was amazing had one the best massages. Our coceirge Erickson was great! Normally stay at the colonial however they’re under resident renovation. I did enjoy the elegance overall.

As always, the Majestic was amazing. This was our 4th trip here and hopefully not last. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. I really enjoyed the Majestic Elegance in Punta Cunta. Weather, beach, and resort is beautiful! There was also beach chairs available at any time because it wasn’t too crowded. If walk down to the other resort they were way too crowded!!!! The entertainment during the during was ok but it during the night it was good! The shows were also great, don’t miss them! There sports bar is closed however you can walk to the other Sports bar located at the other Majestic. I liked the atmosphere and food there. The food was overall good throughout the resort but not excellent. At night we ate at the steak house. The New York was delicious. Ofcourse the drinks were great, they do have Tito’s, Jameson, and other liquior but it’s not on display at the bar. You just have to ask for it. I would totally go back!

I must say that I have enjoyed my stay at this resort. Staff was welcoming and helpful.
Outdoor pool was a pleasure. Water temp was perfect, there’s enough shade if you wanted to escape the sun, there're multiple bars by the pool; staff walked around and took orders.
Beach was a pleasure, but water was a little too cold for me. The BBQ at the beach was so good.
I did not like the outside vendors who walked on the beach and offered water activities, which was separate from the resort offerings. They were disturbing my peace. If I was interested, I would have approached them. They were harassing. There were also those walking with parrots and a monkey; they ask for your phone and use it to take pictures of you with the animal. What is absolutely unacceptable is that they tell you the price after they take pics. I was lucky enough to witness how they were communicating with other guests, so I knew what to expect. Some guests told them they didn't have the cash, so they followed guests and didn't leave their side until they got paid. I urge the resort to have better control over this since it also affects our experience.
The rooms were outdated and desperately need renovations. The bedsheets were smelly/old; curtains were dusty/stained.
Loved the entertainment: great circus show. People left during Beyonce and disco show- boring. Resort, please consider instead a Madonna or JLo show- more interesting.
Large property so you may enjoy long walks. Overall, beautiful resort.

I have nothing bad to say except for the rooms. The design is so inconvenient and dumb. Bathroom and shower doors are made of glass. They are basically in the room, no separate bathroom area with a wooden door. Everyone can hear and smell your business. No hooks, so I didn’t even know where to hang my towels and clothes. Linens were slightly smelly and had some stains and holes here and there. Towels were hard and did not dry well. AC temp regulation was very poor. I pressed on low fan but it was blowing harder. It was very cold so I had to turn the AC off a lot. Also there is a sofa bed in the room so if someone sleeps there the AC will blow hard on them, anyways I was dreading coming back into the room, I was ready to sleep in the lobby on their comfy sofas!
I have really nothing bad to say about the outdoor area. Bathrooms are better than in the rooms and are very clean! There are so many seating areas and lots of bars and restaurants. Everything looks pretty and delicious. Pools and beach are very clean, and there are lots of shaded areas so you won’t burn, unless you are in the water all the time. Entertainers are superb! I’ve never seen anything like it. The staff is very nice and helpful. Don’t forget to tip! These people work really hard! Bottom line, rooms need to be renovated asap! If that happens I’ll definitely come back! If you don’t care about where you shower and sleep then this place will be heaven for you.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The photos online do absolutely no justice. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The only reasons I am giving 4 stars and not 5, full blown construction zone adjacent from my balcony, the AC didn’t work well in my room, and the food is very hit or miss. Having said that, I had an amazing vacation.
