The staff and everybody was amazing. Only issue was we paid for horseback riding and they changed the time to later in the day and we could not do it so we wanted to cancel it and get a refund which they said they could do. And I have yet to receive my refund yet. If anybody can help out please reach out.

Beach is good, entertainment not bad, pools are well designed. Here are the issues:
[a] Good English speaking staff required in reception - current staff unfocused & ill-mannered
[b] Stagnated Water easement in mangroves - stinks
[c] Bathroom drainage stinks when dry
[d] Room drawers stuck and difficult to open
[e] AC doesn't cool consistently
[f] Only 9 doors & See-Sea restaurants are ok - the omelette station staff do not appear to know how much salt and pepper required for taste
[g] Elevator floors numbering is ridiculous
[h] Too much variety of food in flavors restaurant but not tasty
[i] Guests should be allowed at least one restaurant option outside the main resort chain
[j] No free floaties at the pools - very inconvenient
[k] Phone handset was not working in the room, only works on speaker after much trial and error
[l] Too many cats near guest walking areas
[m] Not enough floaties for adults even in the shops

The pools were incredible. The room was okay, just make sure the bathroom is closed because there are no vents...

The staff were very friendly and supportive. They clean the room very thoroughly every day. The drinks were always flowing and were always attentive--if you tip, they will go above and beyond...

Don't lose your towel cards. Speaking Spanish will go a long way too. Most speak English, but it goes a long way if you can talk a little bit back.

The food is average and what you could typically find at an all inclusive resort. The bars are top tier and a good variety of options.

This was my second stay at the Majestic resort in Punta Cana, and unfortunately, after 15 years, I was extremely disappointed and truly regret choosing this resort again.

During our stay, we experienced food poisoning. When I contacted Guest Services to request Pepto-Bismol, I was told that I needed to see a doctor and that they could not provide it. Given that this issue was caused by the resort, I expected basic medication to be provided at no cost. This lack of support was very frustrating.

Additionally, I specifically requested a room with two queen beds, yet we were given a room with one king bed. There were three people in the room. How is it acceptable to expect three people to sleep in one bed? I went to the front desk to complain and at least asked for an additional set of sheets so my child could sleep on the sofa. The front desk staff said they called someone on the radio, but nothing happened. The next day, I went to Guest Services again, and still nothing was done. Finally, on the third day, I asked a cleaning staff member for extra sheets and received them. This should not have been such a difficult or time-consuming request. Had I been more persistent, I would have demanded a room change, which should not be necessary to receive basic accommodations.

The entertainment was also very disappointing. The shows felt outdated and unchanged for at least 15 years and were quite boring. There was no creativity or effort to offer something new. Furthermore, there was

In our first room, the shower did not drain. After several phone calls to the front desk, we were moved to a room where the shower worked, but the room smelled faintly of mildew. The room was also on a main corridor, which meant we heard people returning to their rooms late quite loud and inebriated. The food was abundant, but entirely mediocre at each of the restaurants. The pool was great and clean, but closes so early (7pm). The beach is gorgeous.

The air conditioning seemed to be timed and on a sensor. When the door was opened or we left the room it shut off making it uncomfortable to come back to. Also the elevators did not work and we were put on the 3rd floor and I am handicapped. So it did make it a little difficult. And just a lot of walking to destinations with no assist for people in my situation and there were a lot of elderly people there with us. Other than that everything was wonderful. The food was great. The shows were fantastic. And the staff very welcoming. The vendors in the middle on the way to the casino were ridiculous. They tried to sell my wife any and everything and they didn’t not take NO for an answer. And their prices were ridiculous luckily my wife is not Pendeja but I can see them taking advantage of elderly people or people that get scared easily. This is unacceptable they do not stop until you buy something!

Our family of 4 stayed for 9 days here at Majestic Elegance. My husband and I travelled with our two kids, ages 6 and 8. This is our second time here at Majestic Elegance! This place is nothing less than amazing. The staff, the food, the drinks, beautiful beaches, and the activities for the kids, this place is wonderful. We love the people here and we will be back!

Let me start by saying I am not typically a resort lover, especially all inclusive. I usually prefer to get out and see the towns and cities nearby and eat local food.

The hotel was beautiful and clean. Most of the staff was amazing. The food was just so so, in my opinion.

I wanted to get out and see more but all that was available was very touristy tours mostly non-Dominican food.

I recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway or for a family that wants to stay on campus.

I knew it wouldn’t be the most cultural experience, but I hoped to find some. There was almost zero.

I thought I booked an ocean view but apparently I didn’t. We had the upgraded Club status which was well worth it. The adult pools were very nice. The family pool had a lot of missing tiles. The staff was amazing! Shout out to club C at the pool Angelina, Maxima, Santo and all. Our butler Nathan was great as was Emanuel at the coffee shop desk. Our favorite waitress was Gabriella.

My friend broke her collarbone due to the swing on the beach collapsing on her. The resort did not take any responsibility for the accident and put the swing back up the next day. The food was awful and we experienced racist encounters with some guests and staff.

The pool and beach were nice, and the resort grounds were generally well kept. However, the rooms were a bit dated and we had lots of mosquitos. We would not return and do not reccommend this place.

The room was great, the pools and bars were excellent, great beachfront. Staff was hit and miss, most staff was great but some were not with indifferent attitudes. The food was very average and dissapointing. Alot of food in both buffets was lukewarm to cool, overcooked and dry. Asaditos steakhouse, the new york strip came out blue when we asked for med/rare. My ribeye was ok. Japanese hibachi was decent. Tough to recommend this resort just based on the food.

Elegance is a wonderful resort. The staff is attentive and friendly, we have even kept in touch with some throughout the year. The beach is exceptional, we never left it. A few places were dated, but that’s ok. They are doing a renovation next year. Never had a bad meal, plenty of choices. Love the outdoor bars, great place to hang out. Only thing they could do better on is the evening entertainment, but it’s not a game changer. We will still be retiring next year for our fourth visit before the renovations begin.

Walliam is incredibly personable. Anthony served us many times at the steak house and in the buffet and worked to make our time there enjoyable.

An Absolute Paradise!
From the moment we arrived, our experience was exceptional. The staff truly went above and beyond—especially Alvero, our butler. He met us at check-in, personally walked us around the grounds to show us all the resort’s amenities, and even arranged dinner reservations for our group of eight. Throughout our stay, Alvero regularly checked in to make sure everything was perfect and to see if we needed anything at all.
Our room was spotless, and the grounds were beautifully maintained. Even though the resort is large, it had a peaceful and relaxing vibe. The surroundings were absolutely stunning.
A special shoutout as well to Ismael at the adults-only swim-up bar. He was fantastic—friendly, entertaining, and always quick to serve your favorite drink with a smile!
If I had one critique, it would be the quality of the food, which could definitely use some improvement. However, thanks to Alvero and Ismael, our trip was truly outstanding and unforgettable.

The RESORT was great, overall. Very well maintained, and exceptionally clean grounds. The Jr. Suite was big and everything was clean and refreshed by housekeeping each day. We enjoyed the Pool Bar each day and was entertained by Ismael, our bartender. Great drinks, fabulous atmosphere. Our Butler, Alfaro, attended to our needs and was quick to make things happen. The only disappointment was the food. It was mainly pretty bland, with the exception being 9 Doors Restaurant which was very good.

I stayed mid-January. I chose this resort based on a friend’s recommendation and was initially skeptical because many DR reviews seem incentivized. Overall, it could’ve been a 5/5, but the way the trip ended changed that for me.

Arrival was a bit confusing — airport pickup (I purchased from hotel website) instructions weren’t clear, and the driver wasn’t very friendly. The driver going back was amazing! However, the front desk staff was excellent and recommended booking restaurant reservations immediately, which was great advice. Note: the “app” is really a website, and you need to be careful clicking things since charges can be added.

Food was mostly good. The steakhouse (churrasco) and hibachi were excellent (book hibachi early). Italian was just okay with very small portions. Oceanfront restaurant was good overall. Bartenders were thoughtful and even made me a virgin drink without asking (I’m pregnant).

Excursions offered by the resort gomajestic were mixed. The monkey tour (evoluation) was a terrible experience — our bag (wallet, ID, cash) was left in the shuttle, and the driver claimed nothing was there. We tracked it and believe items were taken. Very frustrating, especially since the resort partners with this company. 7 Adventure Park was much better and fun. Eat beforehand and bring snacks.
Till I stayed mid-January. I chose this resort based on a day 02/2026 no one has reached out from gomajestic concerning the lost bag. Atleast a refund or something would be nice
