Casa de los Sueños is just beautiful! We loved the views of the ocean from it and the care with which it has been decorated. The staff was very helpful with our travel needs. Even though it is 15-20mins drive to Playa Norte, it's worth it. Our challenge was the breakfast place that we had heard so much about - Kin Ha was very inflexible about accommodating Vegan diet for 2 of our party! Wish they were more understanding and caring.

Beautiful room and grounds. Super family friendly and yet uncrowded, quiet and peaceful. The staff is kind, helpful and welcoming. We loved having a little outdoor patio. The walk down to breakfast (the restaurant) and the ocean was easy and enjoyable, through a lush garden. We felt safe walking to nearby restaurants and a grocery store even as a solo mom traveling with her child (two other moms were doing the same). The breakfasts were tasty and there were lots of fun things to do! The snorkeling is outstanding around the pier, the pools and water slide are fun for kids, the kayaks and rope swing are amazing, and playing water volleyball with other guests was a highlight. It’s easy to take a taxi to Playa Norte and Playa Centro/Downtown, where we also felt safe, had a lot of fun, and made great memories. We already miss the place and people and will be back!

This hotel has the most amazing view in Islas Mujeres! Hotel is anazing quiet, and romantic. We were the only guest. We stayed in the El Sol room, amazing view and from the balcony you can access the pool. The staff was amazing and prepared the best lobby coffee ever! Only bad thing was that we spent an entire day without water nor electricity due to improving the electricity in the island which is a good thing. We rented a Golf cart which is the best transportation option in the Island.

The hotel staff was great. We checked-in there was no power. We were not notified prior. Power came back on appx 7:30pm. There is an affiliation with the beach club and it's not hotels pool but, beach club pools and ocean access. It was very run down. Guests there were highly intoxicated and behavior questionable, not an environment we would have chosen to expose ourselves to. We had nowhere else to go. Staff at beach club was nice and food was decent. I think the advertisement for this hotel is a bit misleading on Expedia. The property itself has no bar and no swimming pool to use. It the adjacent public beach club with guest privilege to use. Also, several stairs and uphill walking is not an issue for us. We noticed people struggling with this. This is not a good choice for someone who may have a disability.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Casa de los Suenos. Free paddle board, kayak, snorkel rentals. And service was great. I needed a doctor on a Sunday, and the hotel had one there on site to see me within 30 minutes. Would definitely recommend staying here.

I had an excellent stay! Carlos & Francis were always there to help if I needed anything. The place had a great pool with an incredible view. Plus you get a free breakfast with two drinks (milk, pineapple juice, orange juice, etc.) The Joint and El Borracho Burro Cantina are both within walking distance. I can't wait to go back!

Gorgeous views from lobby and our balcony every day.
Morning coffee in lobby appreciated.
Access to Kinha easy, breakfast good every day. Snorkeling great off the dock.
Surrounding area had walkable eateries, pharmacy. Transportation options - bus or taxi right at door step.
Can book golf cart if needed. Can walk to Garrafon and Punta Sur if you are a walker.

i would like to complement Carlos. He was the concierge that was at the hotel when we checked in. He was one of the highlights of our stay. He definitely made our stay enjoyable as he made sure we knew our way around places to eat. He even booked a dinner for us for one of the best seafood restaurants to eat in the area. I had some issues with the staff at the Kin-ha club and he made sure he made us feel heard and sent us a bottle of wine to make up for the shortcomings of the staff at Kin-ha,

The Hotel was nice and small. Just what we were wanting. Room was clean and overlooking the water. We had plenty of ocean view and was very relaxed during our stay.

We will come and stay at Casa de los Suenos again for sure.

We loved our stay as Casa de Los Suenos. We had an ocean view room and the sunsets were spectacular. It was our first time staying on the south side of the island and we found we much prefer it. We rented a golf cart for a couple of days to explore, and that was enough for us as we have stayed on the North side on prior visits and just wanted to hit a few favorites. We enjoyed Ulan across the street as well as Rancho Capricho, The Joint and Burracho Burro all within walking/biking distance. We even walked to our 9pm Samura reservations and felt safe walking back at 11pm.

The hotel itself is beautiful and very charming, the concierges were extremely nice and helpful, and we loved the breakfast and hanging out at Kin Ha. We took advantage of the complementary hotel bicycles and the paddleboards at Kin Ha and loved snorkeling there too. Our room was not super large, but for our romantic kid free getaway. It was more than we needed. The bed was large and very comfortable, and the vibe of the room was wonderful. We also took full advantage of the hotel’s infinity pool and often had it to ourselves. We would highly recommend this hotel and hope to return. Thank you for a wonderful getaway!

Our room was not the same as the photos on the site . There was no privacy as far as the bathroom - it was basically just a corner of the room had a glass wall with toilet and a shower . The room walls were also thin- we could hear every conversation our neighbors had through the walls . We had no hot water the first night - they fixed this but it happened two more times during our stay . There was no coffee pot or iron in the room and very few outlets.
Also be aware you cannot flush toilet paper on the island - no reviews mentioned that
That being said the staff was very friendly and the pool was beautiful . The area was very nice . Just have realistic expectations or you will be disappointed

My husband and I came here for a quick 4 days. We had visited the property many years ago and vowed to come back to stay. We were not disappointed!! We loved the beautiful, quiet property. Eating the delicious (incl) breakfast every morning on the water was perfect and eating dinner a couple times at the restaurant Ulan, right across the street was so comfortable and easy. Enjoyed good food and live music there! Roger and Carlos took care of everything for us at the hotel during our stay. We enjoyed our own infinity pool and extra space in the Presidential Suite. The bed was comfortable and shower was open and had nice pressure. We rented a golf cart for our stay, which you would need to get around the island. It was easy and fun zipping around. We ate lunch on the beach every day and ate dinner either at Ulan, mentioned above or up at the north end of the island where all the action is. We had great seafood every day. We will definitely be coming back to stay here again!!

The hotel is lovely, low key and quiet. The hosts, Carlos and Roger, are so welcoming and helpful. The view is beautiful as claimed. And the on-site restaurant is terrific. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Besides, breakfast is included with lots of delicious options. There are also a few walkable dining sites around the property. If you are looking for a restful vacay, this is the place!!

The place is beautiful but won’t be staying there again.Told the guy at the front desk that our main room light was not working, he said he would fix it and never did, we were there for 4 days we only had light in the kitchen area and restroom.We were told breakfast was included then at check out they charged us 50 USD for breakfast. I knew somethings weren’t included in the free breakfast but we would pay extra plus tip every time. We didn’t have time to find out why they were charging extra since our taxi was waiting for us outside to take us to the ferry. Disappointing

This is such a beautiful place to stay, The hotel is so well maintained and artisticlly decorated. I loved the beautifuk setting overlooking the ocean and the wonderful KinHa beachclub that guests have access to.
The staff was ever so attentive and Chris the GM was excellent. He was able to arrange our golf cart rental to be waiting at the hotel for us. Made us feel so welcome, we felt like old friends. He upgraded us to a magnificant room that I truly never wanted to leave.

Best of all the house dogs and cat Marvin, Nina and Maggie always made my day. I have so many photos of my Isla pet friends.

I have been taliking about Casa de Los Suenos to all my friends and family encouraging them to visit. I cant wait to go back. We will plan a longer stay for more dreamy relaxation.

Wow! This place was a true oasis! Highlights include the amazing breakfast and sweet and helpful staff. Oh yeah and my boyfriend of 11 years proposed our first night there! So I’m a bit partial but this is my favorite place in the world! Gorgeous views and loved the access to the beach- no sand and all boardwalk is actually really great! Recommend the in room massage too! Really good snorkeling right off the pier… so easy and no excursion necessary! And bonus points for having N.A. beer. 10/10

Well..it wasn't like a holiday, more like being with family, thanks to Carlos, Roger, Chris & everyone there( not forgetting Marvin & Nina ( resident dogs) .i was made to feel welcome, the whole of my stay..including by luis ( taxi driver) muchas gracias amigos/ amigas. Would thoroughly recommend this place, clean, spacious, good facilities in my room...breakfast included ( downstairs in an adjacent restaurant..) lovely infinity pool with a great view..downside is.. no shop on site & if you want dinner there are a few places closeby or you go to playa norte ( best beach in Latin America . White sand, turquoise sea..) ..picus & snappers are my favourites..stunning sunset too. Either you hire a golf cart or take a taxi , around $10-13 us...or 150-200 pesos

Carlos & Roger both were exceptional host. The Hotel is small yet offers everything you expect at a large resort property without the crowds. The restaurant/bar on the water (Kin ha) has everything you could ask for. Swim up bar, water front lounges, in water swings. Great food as well.. Wonderful Presidential Suite

We stayed in the Presidential Suite which came with its own, private full-sized swimming pool. The staff were uniformly helpful, cheerful and accommodating. It was a grea6t stay.

We really liked the area and the unique access to the ocean with docks instead of beaches- it cuts down on the mess and is very enjoyable! We loved the volley ball in the ocean, the kayaks, paddle boards and snorkeling gear! That was awesome to be able to do as part of our stay on a day to day basis. Carlos, one of the concierge’s was delightful and helped us plan a nice snorkeling excursion and gave good suggestions for restaurants and other things to consider. On a personal note we like having a little more autonomy with food so in the future will look for something with more of a kitchenette that allows better for left overs, snacks, etc. There was a mini fridge which was helpful at Casa Los Suenos. I think it’s a really lovely place to stay and has great amenities!

Hidden Gem amongst some large resorts

This was the perfect stay for my friend and I looking to be away from the crowds closer to town but still have the ability to explore. The access to Kin Ha was perfect. A few restaurants nearby and the hotel staff helped us book any excursions or taxis that we needed.

The team really went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of! And they even let me practice my horrible Spanish skills! 10/10 would recommend.
