The only downside was the internet which hardly worked and was super frustrating. However, we would definitely stay there again. The price is right and the location is excellent.

If you’re looking for a place just to lay your head at night and to take a shower with bare minimum of accommodations, it’s a pretty good place to stay if you’re on a budget. Pros: clean, good location, safe, friendly staff. Cons: very spotty Wi-Fi. Housekeeping only provides fresh towels and drinking water daily. You only get fresh sheets every three days.

Excellent boutique hotel in the zona romantica. Very clean rooms and the property is charming. The staff is superb- friendly and accommodating and very flexible with respect to extra such as luggage storage after check out and in my case I moved rooms. Highly recommended.

First, I am happy that they had accommodation. It was a extra busy week with the festivities. I'm pretty easy going, but having decent Wi-Fi on an international trip is exceedingly helpful their's could use some work. I could not get the kitchenette with air conditioning. It was one or the other. And without a kitchen, not having an ice machine in the building really kind of sucks. On high point, the top deck is fabulous. The staff was more than courteous.

The property is well within walking distance of the malecon and the downtown center. Many bars and restaurants to choose from as well as street food vendors. Can be a little noisy at night but you do get use to it. Stayed 11 nights and would definately stay at the property on future trips. The staff were amazing, very friendly.

I have stayed here for many years. It is a traditional hotel with not a lot of amenities. However, it is clean safe, and cheap in a very Mexican neighborhood. Hotel staff is helpful and they actually clean your room every day.

Quaint older building. Clean. Bed was surprisingly decent for Mexico. All staff were amazing. Roof top offered stunning views. Upper terrace area was great to relax. 4 blocks from the beach, 1 block from the river trails, and surrounded by great places to eat. Con for me: noisy streets, and clubs at night.

My room was fine , comfortable really didn’t need air conditioning, cool at night fan worked fine , careful coming out of bathroom almost slipped hold on to wall, shower always had hot water . Staff mention David restaurant turkey dinner every second Sunday just serving turkey . The restaurant next had a little bar simple breakfast popular with hotel stayers, staff joking with regular . I hope the up keeps don’t ruin the traditional look , I like the way it is . Clean , staff management friendly treated me like family , wish my Spanish was better .I forgot to mention there was cute safe in room they must of added them , bring hangers or the dollar store properly has . So thanks for making my stay awesome

This is a clean, well cared for, family run hotel. My standard room (no balcony) on the 3rd floor was basic but had a quiet a/c and a ceiling fan, TV with a few English channels, somewhat consistent wifi in the room, a complementary bottle of water each day. Shower pressure was a little weak but plenty of hot water but no hot water from the bathroom tap (I’ve found that this is not unusual for smaller, 2 star hotels). The front desk staff are fantastic - especially Luz-Maria and Rudy. Courteous, friendly and accommodating. I would gladly stay here in the future.

I liked the location of the hotel. It was walking distance to all the restaurants, bars, and the beach. Rooms were nice and clean. Hotel doors are locked at midnight and you have to knock to let you in if you come in later. Other than that, it was all good.

Lovely hotel, with nice rooms. Our room with a balcony was small, but had large balcony windows and it had everything we needed for two people. The location was amazing, everything was walkable, though the streets were loud at night. The bed was firmer than we were used to with big pillows, took some getting used to for my partner. We had asked for no AC but there was a fan in the room, it worked well and was very strong. Reception was ALWAYS kind and helpful, in English and Spanish. Would stay here again.

Each morning, I relished sitting on my balcony, savoring the endless supply of coffee the attentive staff provided. Despite my request to skip room cleaning due to late nights, they ensured I had fresh towels, water, and garbage changes daily. When they did clean, it was impeccable. The staff treated me with genuine kindness, making me feel more like a valued guest than just another check-in. Their warmth and hospitality made my stay truly memorable.

Stayed one week, here for the dentist, great option for the budget conscious. Close to many options for dining, as well as the Guadalajara Pharmacy (I was a daily shopper). Close to many options for taking the bus, to/from airport (10 pesos) as well as the main bus option (10 pesos) heading south, to places like Mismaloya or Boca de Tomatlan, and the connecting bus to El Tuito (40 pesos).

When I checked in the man at the desk seemed preoccupied on his phone. After giving me my key he failed to tell me how to get to my room. I went down the hallway and up 3 flights (my room # was 400) of stairs carrying my suitcase ( I am 75 years old)and there were no room # starting with 4XX. A nice man staying in the hotel helped me carry my suitcase up the last flight. He went down and asked the man \"why didn't you help the lady\" He did not get a nice response. the customer came back to to help me find the room - we could not find it. The man watched my suitcase while I went back to the desk. The desk clerk pointed to a flight of stairs to my left. I went back up the other stairs to retrieve my bag and climbed 3 flights to find my room- with the help of the customer. The nice man who helped spoke little English but was more helpful than the desk clerk. There was construction going on in the hotel that started at 8:30. All night there was loud talking coming from the lobby that echoed up the atrium and was loud in my room until after midnight. Children were talking in yelling in the stairway until midnight as well. The room was clean and the maid was nice. The lady at the desk on the second day was helpful, but the noise did not subside during my entire stay. I barely got 3 hours of sleep.

Fantastic location near lots of taco stands, and pharmacies. Short walk to the beach. Great place to stay for a couple of days to get an idea of the area before finding more suitable accommodations.
