We booked a fully all inclusive trip. Upon arrival the hotel refused to honor the all inclusive.i showed them our confirmation number and itinerary from both Expedia and thier hotel . They just ignored both and flat out refused to help. Ww ask to speak to manager , who you could tell easily, had done this before. He wouldn't even look at our documents , he just kept saying no. Even with clear proof in our hands . He had obviously ran thos scam before many times . We called Expedia and they blamed the hotel and said there was nothing they could do . The hotel just laughed at us . Ive been traveling for 20 years and this is the first time anything like this has happened.vety disappointed with Expedia also , as I have been a client for 20 years . But 100% the Delfin hotel is running a scam, they had all there staff respones lines down to a science . Worst hotel if your going to Puerto Vallarta 🇵🇷

Room was very clean. Fresh towels daily. No patio lock. Security staff super helpful and attentive. We were always able to get lounge chairs and umbrella at beach. Beach gets very busy by end of the day. Pool is small, was often very busy with children in floats and splashing not much room for others.

The receptionist basically argue with me saying that they don’t have All Inclusive while they have a sign on the counter offering all inclusive
I also booked ‘adults only’ and was children everywhere
Very misleading!
I request a refund.

Did this hotel deserve 5 stars? No. Did it deserve 3 stars? Yes, but remember, 3 stars on Hotels.com is \"OK\". And for about $120 usd/night, on the beach, in PV, \"OK\" isn't bad. A lot of what frustrated me initially, was the contradictory info we received either through Hotels.com or at the property. When you check in, they give you a \"Regulations and service time table\" document. There is a lot of negative information, which I personally don't think is a good way to start a week at a hotel. The water was turned off once in the middle of the night and 3 times (that we noticed) during the day. One of these times was for 4 hours due to a broken pipe. We had to ask for someone to come up to the room with a bucket of water to flush the toilet. The maid was great until it was her day off and management evidently didn't think to cover her rooms. They had the room cleaned after we mentioned it. Hotels.com states there is no elevator but reviews mention 2 elevators with one of them broken. There are 2 elevators and one stopped working at least once/day. Hotels.com says there are 3 pools. However, one pool (adults only) is available for a 350p fee (good toward food/drink). The other pools are in a large patio area but there are only 6 umbrellas. Over the weekend we were there, you had to get out there early to snag an umbrella. So....not a bad hotel. Good location for the price. They need to update their Hotels.com info and their check-in document.

Our room was very basic. There was no lamp just the light by the door. Shower was small and water barely trickled out of the overhead shower head. Curtains we not blackout so the room was very bright throughout the light since we were street side. Staff was friendly and our room was always cleaned good. We did not do AI so I can’t comment on the food. We loved the location though! Would stay again.

I stayed in both an Adult/Executive and a Standard room. The former had more features along with a direct ocean view, but my Standard room was fine too. With a sideways view of the ocean. Both were very clean.

The staff, in all cases, were wonderfully helpful, polite and cheerful.

I think the views from the balcony were great and the location. The building itself is just pretty old and everything is just outdated for the price, I guess. The location was also pretty decent. Our cleaning person was fantastic and one of the receptionist. However, my friend told me the older receptionist man was very mean to them.

The hotel was nice, perfect location beachfront, the staff were amazing the only complaint was the room were so outdated! We were on the 3rd floor and the room looked like from a 24hr motel. My friend had a room on the 7th floor and those were brand new! Beautiful rooms, night and day I would say. We didn’t complain about it we just made the best of it. But next time if I stay there I will request 7th floor or a way better room. FYI they charge for everything if you loose your key if you stain the sheets or towels which they were already lol. If you need and iron they lend it to you for only 2 hours. Other than that it was nice.

The beds were hard as a rock. Also, there was no lamp in the room. You only had a small entry way light. There was space and outlets on the bedside tables. But no lamp so most of the room was dark at nigh because the entry way light was small

The room was spacious and clean but very basic, Minimal furniture. No refrigerator which was a big disappointment. Very noisy. My room faced the busy street. And there was booming music from the pool area much of the day and all evening long until 11pm. The music might appeal to some people but not to people who go to bed early. Many guests seemed to be enjoying themselves. Another issue is that they would not permit my friend to enter and sit at the pool with me for a half hour without buying a day pass. It was ridiculous.
I would not stay at this hotel again.

Absolute nightmare, the room I stayed in was beyond run down. The bath had painted over mold all over the ceiling. The mattress was the equivalent of sleeping on a carpet on the floor. Staff wouldnt let you bring in guests, which is absurd. Expedia this isn’t over.

A good value for the price. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the facility was clean and well maintained. The hotel’s beachfront location is a major plus, and it’s conveniently situated just a short walk from shopping and restaurants. The food was average but acceptable. One thing to note is that our rooms did not include a microwave or mini refrigerator, which may be important for some travelers.

The property was clean and the location was amazing!! Right on the Malecón in walking distance to everything you need. The food options were EXTREMELY limited, so not stay here if you’re vegetarian or have any dietary restrictions. The room was okay the balcony was nice but it’s just a very simple room, you get a few bottles of water no blow dryer or coffee, the safe in the room was broken, no room service or amenities. Also online it said the room had wifi which it did not. I ate out for every meal and had to pay for cell data for the whole trip, but great location. It’s pretty much like staying in a cheap hotel in Canada I wouldn’t really classify it as an all inclusive resort by any means. Decent margs though.

This hotel has one of the best locations in Old Town. We booked the adult only side which is the front tower - all ocean facing rooms. Some are completely redone and are huge and beautiful. Ours was not redone, but it was large and the bathroom has upgrades. It was in good condition. The adults only rooms overlook the private adults only pool and the beach (and the pier). We had a large cockroach in the room on our last night. Very large. Not ideal but what bothered me most was front desk wasn't overly concerned and said its common and that was that. Up to the point of finding the roach, the room seemed very clean and housekeeping did a great job everyday. The staff at the adults bar and the beach were amazing! Manny (and Sergio??) were so great, so attentive and so very personable. The type of staff you make friends with and follow them around to other properties!
As we booked the adults only side, with our own restaurant and pool and beach side, we expected same. Unfortunatley, the main area (all inclusive) buffet was under construction, we the adults only restaurant was used for the buffets and consequently, our pool experience was not private nor quiet. A different experience than the last stay. We were also not allowed to use the adults restaurant, the pool, OR the adult only beach our last day due to an event that didn't even start until 6pm that day. Again, no one cared but our beach staff (who did take care of us).

The Delfin hotel was over the top. The staff treated us so well. The room was always kept cleaned beautifully. All staff went above and beyond. The person that stood out the most was the young man that was the bus boy. I am a little hadicapped and walk with sticks, he came to me several times and asked me if I required any assistance. He was a true young gentleman, i apologise for not remembering his name. He would be the numbr one reason I would stay at Hotel Delfin again next trip. This young man should get a promotion and climb up the corporate ladder. The view from my roms was unforgettable looking over the pier right outside my window. 5 stars to everyone!!

I stayed in the Adult's Only Tower of the Hotel Delfin Beach Resort and my experience was excellent. The room was perfectly clean with daily housekeeping, the furniture was nice and new, and the view was spectacular. Lots of noise in the evening due to the prime location on the beach. I did not use the resort amenities so cannot vouch for the food or facilities.

We loved staying here in the Jr Suite. As an LGBT couple, we felt welcome. Amazing view, perfect room, and excellent service. Loved the Nespresso in the room and the nightly turn-down! This was our second time here and definitely will be back! We appreciated access to the adult pool. The location is amazing and everything is safe and secure.

This All Inclusive resort fell short in several ways. The food was terrible, necessitating frequent dining out. Additionally, the lights in our room kept flickering on and off throughout our stay. The air conditioning unit couldn’t keep the room cool, so we had to request a floor fan for assistance. Furthermore, the resort strictly prohibited guests from inviting family or friends into their rooms at any time. Violating this rule resulted in an additional charge to the guest’s hotel bill.

Great view, easy access to many restaurants, pharmacies,and OXXO right next door. At night I listened to the sound of rolling ocean waves, and no other unpleasant noise, like traffic or after hours party noise. If the doors to balcony and ocean view are closed, there is no noise at all. The cleaning staff was very friendly and responsive. All in all , a very pleasant stay. I will come back, and refer others as well.

Lots of pool chairs free which should not happen BUT this guy is beyond militant about moving chairs and 1 towel no exchange? He is a creepy weird guy always chatting up the young women! He plays LOUD WAY TOO LOUD MUSIC so people hate it at the pool. Ruined the entire time there!
