We had a nice stay over the weekend, our room was spacious and had good amenities, we always appreciate having a kettle in the room as my husband & like our hot drinks.
It was very accessible and near the main parts of Brussels as advertised!
We also had a little flood in our bathroom after using the big shower, really good pressure but the drain wasn’t quite working properly and the receptionist were quick to respond and help us - was easily sorted!

Unfortunately the room was noisy and light even at night. The curtain is so thin that light comes in the room from the corridor all night in 609. There is also intermittent water sounds from the bathroom that sound like the cistern is filling up. So the bed was comfortable, but it made sleep particularly disturbed.

Room was very spacious. There is no laundry facility as stated on hotels.com but an expensive laundry service instead. There is free coffee from a good coffee machine at the lobby and reusable glass flasks/bottles to collect filtered water from the machine at the lobby. Very friendly and attentive staff.

I had a very positive stay at the Aqua Hotel. The location is excellent — just a 2-minute walk to the bus stop and underground station, and only a 15-minute walk to the center of Brussels.

The room was clean, well-ventilated, and had a great shower. The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially Mel, who went above and beyond with support, tips, and advice — she really made my stay special!

Overall, the hotel offers great value for money, and I would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Brussels.

Our room wasn't large but it was all we needed for a few days in Brussels and came with a fridge and safe, which are often missing in budget hotels. The room was perfectly clean and the beds were comfortable. The shower was always hot with plenty of pressure, and we really appreciated the blackout shutters that we could close at night.

Whenever we interacted with staff they were friendly and helpful, and the complimentary fruit and coffee in the lobby was a really nice touch.

The hotel is very conveniently located near to shops and a metro station. The only word of warning I'd give is that the street itself where the hotel is located is something of a back street, though seemingly a popular short cut, and doesn't feel the safest at night, but we never saw any actual trouble and it wouldn't stop me staying here again.

So this was a great hotel, staff were excellent and positioned about 4 stops from the main train station.
The room had alot of room and the bed was massive.
Our only problem was it had that typical bathroom door were you can see everything going on inside, plugs no where near the bed and the main lights not being that bright.
Overall great hotel to set up base in.

Good value for money. Pleasant welcome by kind and professional personnel, modest room but bed and shower were great. My room was on the first floor and street side, which felt unlucky. Quite a bit of noise throughout the night. But I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Good overall experience and convenient location.

The staff was very helpful. It seems like this hotel was very nice at one point, but there is a lack of attention to detail in maintenance and cleanliness, especially in common areas. Many times we went through the lobby there were people sleeping on the furniture or with all their belongings spread out. The entrance is essentially on an alley that was quite dirty and full of trash during our stay.

It was nice to have cheap, theoretically convenient parking. Theoretical because the ticket to return to the garage never worked, so we had to go several blocks out of our way and through a mall to access the garage (instructions that no one gave us and no signage indicated).

Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large. Hotel has an unusual layout and has some quirks here and there. Receptionists were really helpful. The road it's on isn't the nicest but it's close to a metro station and to several major tourist points of interest.

All the receptionists were friendly and knowledgeable, fluent in English. Breakfast was a great add on. Walking distance to the train station which was what we were looking for. Travelled as a couple. Will definitely add this location and their hotel chain to our hotels list.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a nice lobby, and even nicer rooms. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfy. Although still walkable, the hotel is a bit of a trek walking from main tourist attractions, and the walk is up a very steep hill. Definitely difficult if you're not used to hilly areas, but worth it for the price. One morning, someone opened our door at 8am while we were asleep even though I put the do not disturb sign on the door. Also, they randomly cancelled our booking in the system, so we walk back 40 mins uphill to make sure everything was okay as their phone number didn't work. Luckily everything was fine and the guy at the front desk was very friendly. However, it did kind of disrupt our day, but accidents happen. The area around the hotel is neat with some shopping and good food, but the hotel itself is in what feels like an alley way and wouldn't feel safe at night.

We stayed in Superior Double Room. Although the room is a bit small, it was fairly comfortable with good air conditioning, fridge, and electric kettle. The only shortcoming was that it took 10-15 minutes to have warm water from the shower.
Breakfast is very nice.
An underground public parking (Interparking Toison D’Or) is available for 15 Euros per 24 hours that is inexpensive rate for Brussels. (Hotel discount rate is not available.)
Almost all major touristic sites in Brussels are within walking distance.
If the hot water situation would be improved, I would give 10 marks to the Hotel.

I loved my stay here. The location was convenient, a 15 min walk to the main area. The room was beautifully presented and clean and coming into an air-conditioned room was fantastic after a very hot day of sightseeing. The staff were also lovely, I would stay here again in the future.

The price was very high the first day because of some surge pricing in Brussels- rest of the days were acceptable

The wifi is open just like any restaurant so you will need VPN software - they have a secure wifi for the staff and in took 3 days to advise me that I would not get access to it

There was a wifi repeater in room 114 behind the TV. It should have been in a hallway or elsewhere
There was some water damage on the walls
Bathtub was too high and hard to get into.
Glass door to the tub could only open one way because the tub was too high
Room configuration was strange and too narrow -maybe that is why we got our room early

Get a VPN before you travel and book early. Brussels seems to get full quickly

Had a very comfortable stay. Quiet and clean. The family room was 2 ajoined rooms and I appreciated that there were separate beds for my kids. Only problem was the walk in shower didn't drain well and flooded the bathroom and hall after less than 5 minutes. Apprently this is a common problem and the staff just gave us extra towels to clean up the water that overflowed.

Modern hotel and convenient for public transport

I use regular hotels, based on convenient location (work or evenings out). It was my first stay there, owing to my regular hotels being full or too expensive that week, but was very close to the metro and the 71 bus, so that was good.

Staff were very friendly, all of the time.

Room was quite large, but I would have liked more desk space (very cramped) and additional power sockets. Not good when trying to use a laptop. wi-Fi was excellent.

I really appreciated the fridge and kettle (with supplies) in the room, and the free coffee downstairs.

The lift was fine, but the stairs where too narrow and sharply curved for me so I only used them once.

I am very tempted to stay again, but location means getting out of bed 25 minutes earlier for work, and that is a big ask!

Overall good experience, reception staff very friendly, beds we soft and nice, temperature control in room. Large room, could use more table space. Missing one bedside table. A bit grimey in the shower, didn't drain for first 2 nights. Staff did quickly remediate. Toilet was a bit to eco which defeated the purpose. Had to flush 10 times to make anything happen...maybe. Didnt refill soap or in room coffee. Location is very good, would stay again.

The reception staffs were nice. There was a confusion about the tag provided in the room. I was looking for Do Not Disturb tag first night, couldn't find one so I left out the one provided on the bed. The tag says, \"The best carbon footprint is the one we don't emit. I participate by hanging the door tie on my bedroom door before 8 am.\" I wasn't able to realize it was supposed to be a \"please clean my room\" tag until I got disturbed 3 times in the day, and expected to change the towels on the second night but no one came to change. It was a misunderstanding but you could do better to make the door tie more clear.
Additionally, the hallway on ground floor was renovating, therefore some smells of paint and noise during the day was a little bit annoying.

It's located close to the centre and has food and transport options within walking distance. It felt a little unsafe at night but Uber can drop you off outside which was a relatively cheap option.

Staff were amazing and accommodating throughout. The room has a big comfy bed, was clean and quiet. Only thing I didn't like was the drainage of the shower was slow, meaning it overflowed a little during shower time.

Great hotel located in a great area..close to many stores and restaurants as well as a 15 minute walk from down town and near public transport.there is a coffee machine and a water machine in the lobby (however missing milk for coffee) staff are great located on a side street near a club ( but didn’t really get any noise from it) but it is a dirty street but not unsafe ..I did not feel unsafe just unpleasant to walk it. The bonus is there are shutters in the windows to minimize the noise and light into the room.
I would definitely stay there again

Kind reception, pretty good location, breakfast wasn't too bad. The room we got was in the basement with a tiny window and a huge pillar in the middle. TV was on adjacent wall rather than opposite to bed which was very diffcult to watch in the evening, addtionally no streaming services available. Booked a room with queen size bed, good two twin put together with two separate mattresses and a small topper which made it very uncomfortable in the middle. I get that 'every room is different' but I payed the same price so would expect same level of comfort and amenities

Although it is a 5-minute walk from a major posh shopping street, the immediate surrounding area is a little creepy after dark (dirty, dark, graffiti- and trash-covered). However, the hotel itself is bright and safe and clean. I didn’t interact much with staff but although a few were brusque, most of them (especially those late at night) were courteous and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and generous. The room I was in was compact but well appointed and perfect for my needs since I don’t expect or want frills. I ask for a comfortable bed with clean bedding, functioning and clean plumbing, and a sense of security. I got that. Once I got used to the street, I was very happy with my choice and will likely return the next time I am in the city.
