The room was not available at 3:00 check in time. Second time staying there and second time I walked from one end to the other end to have batteries replaced in remote. Light bulb next to bed was blown and reported it apparently after maintenance were done for the day (Around 5 pm) told bulb would be replaced around 7 am. Did not get replaced til about 1:30 pm. Had a clothes iron, but no ironing board. Doing rehab work and big dumpster in parking lot where items were being thrown in at about 7 am into empty dumpster creating very loud noise. Reported loud music being played in the parking lot right outside guest doors. Mentioned they know who it was and would call them. 15-20 minutes later, it stopped.

Pretty decent. Room was mostly clean and updated. Slight dog smell and did find crusty streak marks from dog poop still there? So not great. Saw so many people with dogs not picking up poop. Really discouraging. But as far as red roof goes this was decent I suppose. Got a late check out and barely 5 minutes after they were knocking and calling to see if we were staying again. It was Sunday and most people gone so maybe they have squatter issues? Overall not bad and would consider returning or spending more for better quality. But that doesn’t always happen.

It was very convenient for me, having business on the west side of Columbus. I was not staying long, and had few needs outside of a place to sleep with adequate parking for my truck. Lots of fast-food options nearby. Heavy traffic and its noise were my only complaints.

Good stay, no issues with anything with the room. Receptionist was super nice. It seemed like the Hotel itself was like all the other Red Roof Inn’s around the Columbus area. The only issue is literally Hilliard itself. There is a large amount of foot traffic, car traffic and just random people around the area. If you have an issue with that then maybe don’t stay anywhere near Hilliard or Downtown Cbus. Also the street to get into it floods and has potholes. Just fyi.

The desk clerk gave the impression that it would be better to stay in a room on the first level near to the office.
We entered the room and it has an old odd smell. It seemed clean. The room was small but I wasn't surprised. The security bolt had been replaced and the door showed signs that the previous security bolt having been yanked or forcibly removed.
If I were traveling by myself I probably would have stayed. My wife was very unsettled by the atmosphere of the motel.
We tried to check out at the front desk. They tried to offer another room. I told them \"no thank you.\"
We had already made reservations at a nearby hotel. We knew we would not get a refund. We paid more at another hotel and slept peacefully without any concerns.
Oh , one more thing. It was amusing but also indicative of the regular clientele when I saw a sign in the room listing the price for items in the room, If a guest wanted the item they were encouraged to buy them from the front desk. Otherwise they could take the item from the room and it would be charged to their bill.

We entered the room and it has an old odd smell. It seemed clean. The room was small but I wasn't surprised. The security bolt had been replaced and the door showed signs that the previous security bolt having been yanked or forcibly removed.
If I were traveling by myself I probably would have stayed. My wife was very unsettled by the atmosphere of the motel.
We tried to check out at the front desk. They tried to offer another room. I told them \"no thank you.\"
We had already made reservations at a nearby hotel. We knew we would not get a refund. We paid more at another hotel and slept peacefully without any concerns.
Oh , one more thing. It was amusing but also indicative of the regular clientele when I saw a sign in the room listing the price for items in the room, If a guest wanted the item they were encouraged to buy them from the front desk. Otherwise they could take the item from the room and it would be charged to their bill.

The building is old and dilapidated. Looks like it hasn't had a renovation since it was built in the 70s. The bathroom is the most claustrophobic I've ever been in. The king size bed was decent, as long as you can find a spot where a spring doesn't stick into your back. There was no channel guide in the room and the television did not give any information on the channels.
