The property was nice but in the bar there was a mouse the bartender saw it only was there and the kitchen so I didn’t eat anything there totally unsatisfactory. The patio was closed with furniture in a disarray an eye sore. That’s why I rated this hotel low. Too bad it is a nice hotel

Wonderful staff, safe neighbourhood, clean rooms and hotel overall. It had plenty of cute restaurants / cafes in the neighbourhood. Short walk to public transportation.

The rooms were a little run down, but the staff informed us they were renovating from October 2025 until mid 2026, so I'm sure they'll be upgraded as well. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay there again :)

It was ok. The shower was super small, not sure how the average person takes a shower with barely any space to bend and wash their feet. The room doors need to have something that makes them close slower, they are super heavy and you can hear when everyone leaves or enters their rooms. The breakfast was not the best, I would go to a nearby cafe instead.

Cannot recommend this Hotel highly enough!

We just had the best time at the Hotel Ampere, friendly welcoming staff and a very comfortable, quiet and clean room which was well appointed, only dropped one star for the slightly tired looking carpet. Jules checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable and the staff helped us find our way around on the metro by printing of timetables and routes. There was a well stocked mini bar and they even left us a complimentary box of chocolates for our wedding anniversary. The hotel has a lovely garden to enjoy breakfast/drinks in and is in a brilliant situation 5 mins walk from the metro, and some very nice brasseries and restaurants. Walking distance from the Arc de Triomphe, and lots of other beautiful places to visit and just far away from from the hustle and bustle of central Paris to feel like a bit of a sanctuary at the end of a busy day. There is a bar for evening drinks and it is possible to order in an evening meal (the hotel only offers breakfast) but with so many lovely restaurants close by, you won't be short of place to eat - especially recommend Maison Pillet, Le George V, Petrus and Shaxian Snacks (for the best oriental food we've ever tasted)- it was perfect for us and we loved Paris so much I'm sure we will be back, when we return we will definitely stay at the Hotel Ampere again!

Our stay was wonderful. The hotel is located in a great location and definitely a walkable and safe area with plenty of restaurants. We walked to the Arc de Triomphe as well as the Avenue Champs Elysees which has plenty of shopping. We took an Uber from the hotel to the Eiffel Tower which only took about 15 minutes. The Uber cost was only $16. Our room was very nice. The breakfast was pretty good with great tasting pastries and quite a few options. I would definitely stay here again. With it being our first time in Paris, it was a great choice.

Room had weird smell when we checked in - full blown sewer smell in the morning. Cleaner came and sprayed the drains and opened window. That helped but the next day smell was back. I let the front desk know, they said to let the cleaner know. Didn’t offer a room change.

Overall the hotel experience was excellent, very nice and elegant hotel. The room space is a bit small side but lovely. Beautiful area as well.
My only minor negatives were there were no wash cloths in the bathroom and secondly, the parking garage ramps were incredibly tight and took extreme care, time and effort to manuver the car down only one level. The designers used only very narrow straight lines with no curves at the top and bottom to give a little room for the cars to make the turns.
Other than that - I will be happy to recommend this hotel !

Our stay at Hotel Ampere was lovely. The staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was clean and there was a nice selection at the breakfast. The air conditioning in our room and throughout the hotel was very much appreciated in the recent heat wave!!

Access was very convenient. We were only a minute or so walk from the closest metro station and there were many restaurant choices and other conveniences and sights (including the Arc de Triumphe) within a 15 minute walk.

The hotel was perfect for our needs. Location was great and only 20min walk from Arc de Triomphe, and hundreds of restaurants and café’s. Our favourite bakery was boulengerie Liberté, perfect for that morning treat and coffee. Within 5 mins you can pick up any needed groceries at the monprix, and 3min walk from the great metro system.

Wonderful hotel in a great location

A lovely hotel with great staff in a wonderful location out of the centre of Paris. Very close to the Perreire Metro and RER station. Great bakeries, patisseries and restaurants within walking distance. We'll definitely be back! We also needed storage for medication and it was dealt with expertly.

The staff was nice and welcoming. I did get upgraded to a mini/Jr suite but unfortunately when we went in the room there was a water leak from the room above. We immediately notified the front desk and they sent a super nice lady who was in charge of housekeeping I believe. Since it was late on a Friday, they couldn’t do anything about it and the hotel was sold out. The nice lady apologized and put towels on the floor. We were offered a bottle of wine or a complementary drink for the inconvenience.

We slept with the dripping noise but since we were there for one night, we didn’t mind to much. Would we stay there again? Probably not.

We were very happy with our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful overall. This hotel is located right next to a metro station which made it more convenient for us to travel around the city. Nearby grocery store and laundry service. All in all a good hotel with conveniences nearby. The Air conditioning for the hotel worked great which was a big great plus for us. We were concerned with the heat and humidity while traveling Europe during the summer.
When we come back to Paris, we would book this hotel again.

it was a very good location, we chose to go to Mulan Rouge via metro rather than a taxi due to a heavy traffic b/n 6 and 8 pm. Door to door took 21 min. Do not ask the hotel manager to call you a taxi, it ill cost you extra. If you are a New Yorker, raise your hand to get the taxi. We has a good stay, the hotel gave us a bottle of wine, cheap but good. If you wan to save, the supermarket is just around the corner, ATM is across the street within the local bank.

What we like about staying at The Ampere is how convenient it is for the Metro or RER. There are also restaurants and bars close by. There is also a Monoprix grocery store just around the corner.
We also think that the staff are courteous, friendly and very professional.
Excellent customer service.
We definitely recommend Hotel Ampere for staying in Paris.
