Beautiful place to spend time in Lucurne, walking distance from the train station or 2 bus stops with luggage. Great room with a free upgrade for us (thank you)! staff very friendly and helpful. Loved the photo booth. The only thing I would change was adding a mini fridge in the room but visiting in winter we just left our drinks on the balcony to keep cold :)

It’s a very nice hotel, room is clean and location is also near Bahnhof. Also walking distance to Lucerne lake, very nice view from room windows. Breakfast is also great and I think over the past days of other hotel stays, this is best hotel breakfast spread we have here. Also got free Photo Booth for you to have fun pictures taken. Hotel toilet very funky.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was amazing. Only a 9 min walk to the train station and lake. Our room was great, no noise from above or below, once we closed the window no traffic noise. Good size bathroom. Fabulous food in the restaurant. Very clean. We stayed for a week and thought it was good value. Breakfasts were a delight to come down to each morning. Highly recommend this hotel.

This is an old building in a great location that has been remodeled into a hipster kind of vibe. Not my favorite. There was no AC in the rooms so we had to keep the door open to be cool. The staff when we stopped at the bar were not attentive or friendly. There was not a lot of storage or drawers in the room. The rooms were dark. They chose form over function in their design which is why it wasn’t our favorite stay. That said, it might be your vibe. It’s well located and I applaud their effort to mix the old with the new. It just didn’t click for us.

This hotel is nice, albeit right in the middle of town. Breakfast was very good and our room was remarkably quiet for being on such a busy street. It is a bit of a trek from the train station but fine with smaller bags. The staff was courteous and professional, although not as friendly as we have found in other hotels during our travels here - perhaps it is the \"bigger city way...\".

We stayed here for 5 nights using lucerne as our base for hiking and sightseeing. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful and had a good variety of options. Location is great for accessibility to train station, restaurants, stores, sights, etc. Be aware that the rooms have no AC and ours didn't have windows that opened. Being there for the hottest days of summer was pretty brutal. Staff were kind enough to get a couple of fans to help cool the room down. Bathrooms don't vent so humidity was up after showers and the bathrooms don't have true doors, kind of pantry or split closet style doors, so the whole room heats up. Television in the room would not stay on or would show server not available. May have been due to the temps too. The building itself is pretty, but so much of Lucerne was. Would we stay here again? Maybe, just not in the summer.

Dislikes first. The room was small and dominated by a large bed. Clever design managed to fit the usual conveniances in, but it was tight. Likes. The staff were great, friendly and willing to deal with any issue. That bed was a dream, slept like a log. The shower had excellent pressure and temperature easily controlled. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.

We loved our stay at this hotel. We had the family junior suite which was plenty of room for the four of us. The hotel is in a very lively location. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby, was close to the river and not a far walk from all of the tourist spots. Was directly across the street from the bus stop to take you to Mt. Pilatus. The front desk staff was lovely and my kids loved the fun decor and the free photo booth!

The location of this property was good, the beds were comfortable the only con was no air conditioning and if you left the windows open it was so noisy because our room was on the street side, if the windows were closed the noise was blocked but the room got hot.

What a great find! I booked a single room, but it was a big double bed. I would compare this hotel/room to the Moxy hotels - stylish & modern with fun decorative touches and common areas, a small yet functional and cute room. The best value in the area by far, and I spent days looking for a room. Great location near train station and busses. Lucerne is small, so you can walk anywhere in the old town quickly.

Great property, but the staff is what made me submit a review. Antonia at the front desk made our two days in Zürich better than we could’ve imagined. She suggested restaurants and things to do and treated us with respect and care. I could tell she genuinely wanted us to enjoy our time, and that is incredibly valuable these days.

It was an easy walk from the train station and easy location for taking the local buses. We got a free bus pass from the front desk and used to travel all over Lucerne. The front staff were very knowledgeable with good English skills.
Be aware that it is an old building and is not allowed to have AC. We were there in May so it was pleasant....not too sure about how it would be in summer. We had a lovely room with a small balcony but the traffic noise was too loud to leave the window open.
All in all....a lovely hotel that I would definitely stay in again.

We loved our stay at this hotel. It does not have AC in the rooms, but they do have fans available for the rooms if needed. The hotel is close to walking to the shores of Lake Lucerne. The hotel bar and restaurant has great food and drinks.

Retiring in Lucerne

The hotel has such an amazing vibe and is in a really great location. The service was incredible. Every single person who worked there was super friendly and very helpful. My only issue is that the pillows on the bed were extremely uncomfortable and it was really hot so I had a hard time sleeping. But couldn’t say better things about the location, staff and cleanliness.

It a nice hotel in a very strategic location. Super close to a bus stop and a walking distance the chapel bridge. The reception was very friendly, they made us feel welcome.

The room was spacious, though the bathroom is smaller and doesn’t have a tub. Our room was spacious, we were so happy with the size. Though i wish the plcae a bigger carpet, i’m it’ll make the room look even more nicer.

I loved that this property was in a central location to most things. We could walk pretty much everywhere and if we didn’t, we’d hop on the bus with our free bus passes provided by the hotel. The hotel was very clean and the views from the room were absolutely beautiful. We had a perfect view of Mt. Piatus from our window. Breakfast served every morning was fresh and delicious. We didn’t try dinner, but the drinks made were also very good. Overall, this property was super pretty, clean and conveniently located.

I spent 2 nights here and would have stayed longer if my itinerary had allowed. This is not a fancy hotel but it has a cool and simple vibe, my room was small but very well designed and comfortable, the staff are excellent, the breakfast is included and very generous and the location is unbeatable - all at reasonable prices. I particularly liked the small and funky public seating area on the third floor where I could sit comfortably and read my book or watch videos; vibrant velour chairs with ottomans to rest your feet and bright little tables.

We loved this unique boutique hotel! Comfortable, clean, nice people, good convenient area, easily walkable from the train station. Very delicious treat left on our bed upon arrival. I judge a hotel by the shower…is the water very hot, does it trickle or stream, things like that. This hotel had a great shower! There was no air conditioner, but we were fine in early June. Very good breakfast as well.
