The room is small but makes brilliant use of space. I like how the door to the bathroom is also the door to the shower. Genius! The vending machine in the lobby gives you access to conversion plugs, contraceptives, and great snacks too. The staff members are friendly and super helpful. If you’re traveling as one person (or a cozy couple), it is an excellent choice.

First time at an Easy hotel. Bed comfortable but room and bathroom are small. No place to put anything. I guess that’s their selling point. Staff was good, location good. It’s a no frills hotel. We only ended up there because our regular places were booked up.

Excellent option for a short-stay

The Easy Hotel was a pleasant surprise. It is very well located, near downtown and also near the main train station.
Check-in was very fast. The room, although small, is very comfortable and has lots of natural light. The closet is very small but for a short stay this was not an issue for us. The bed is really good.
We will definitely be back to this hotel next time we are in Maastricht.

Perfect for what we needed, great location in central Maastricht. Smaller rooms but fine for our stay as we spent most of the time out exploring the town. AC was a must! We also rented bikes at the front desk - very easy and good price.

I liked that the hotel was located a walking distance from restaurants and entertainment.
The hotel staff was very helpful and offered recommendations on dining and places to visit.
Best of all: You don't pay for all the extra amenities that you'll probably never use in a regular hotel. The rooms were nice and comfortable.

Great but heating issue

Good room! adequate and great bed/bathroom, however when it comes to adjusting the temperature (when you check in during the winter times); the heater is centrally controlled so you can’t change any of the setting no matter who much you adjust it so our room was cold :(

Maastricht is a beautiful fusion of beautiful old city and convenient modern city. This hotel is in a great location over looking the river and very close the the primary shopping area. It is also walkable from the train station. It is a very efficient hotel, a little tight on space, but right for the price.

When I checked in the first room they have me hadn’t been cleaned yet but as soon as I told them they gave me a different room with no issues so no complaints. The room was small, but clean and a nice view of the river. Lots of restaurants and cafes around the hotel. Good value for money and would stay there again

Convenient, walkable location to everything Maastricht. We stayed there for the Andre Rieu Concert. It is an efficiency hotel with small but serviceable rooms, fewer amenities etc, but it worked for our needs.

Hotel is very convenient for the Andre Rieu concert and city roaming. Room is clean and everything works. Only inconvenience is that there is only machine coffee or tea in the foyer and there are no restaurants open for breakfast before 10:am near the hotel, once more the hotel staff could not tell me where I could get coffee and breakfast at 9:00 am.

I find it odd that so many countries don't offer wash cloths/face towels. While the property was nice and comfortable, it was very very basic, no frills but the price was right :-) There were no glasses/cups - again maybe and American thing? Also I notified them that the soap in the shower was VERY low. It was not filled and when I stated it again upon leaving they did not seem to believe it has not been filled

It's greatly located near the main sights. The room is really minimalistic (beds, toilet, shower, tiny bedside shelves) but clean and quiet. The clerk kindly allowed us to store our luggage until the check in time for free (although the website said we had to pay extra which would have been unpleasant. Beds were comfortable and the curtains were great in blocking the light coming from small windows.

Excellent hotel. You won't get anything fancy, just the bare necessities — which match the price well. It is a really good value for money. We had only two problems with the room: the floor was a bit stained, probably something permanent because the room seemed very clean, and the windows don't isolate street noise very well.

I have never paid so much for so little. No drawers, ridiculously tiny area to hang clothes. Thin thin towels, one each only. Soap dispenser and nothing else. Needless to say the bed and the room were small with one hard pillow each. The room was not serviced during our 3 day stay. No restaurant thus no breakfast facility. The only saving grace is it’s location by the river and close to old Maastricht and the three staff we met made it all tolerable.

on arrival the staff had us store our luggage in lockers which all hotels that we have stayed in offer luggage storage until check-in - there was no coffee or tea available in our room- the coffee machine in the foyer was available if you had the exact change to operate it -
Rented bikes during our stay- I rode a bike with a faulty lock that caught in the spokes and caused me to fall and I had a serious hematoma on my leg. We have not heard back from the manager concerning this accident - he was to be in touch with me after he talked with the bike company - to date I have not heard from him which now has been 1 1/2 weeks since our conversation.

Very small room with nowhere to set anything. We had a twin room. If we had suitcases larger than our carry-on, there wouldn’t have been sny room. One twin bed was against the wall so seemed even smaller. The floors were tile.

Can tou really call a hotel room - small, dark, smelly and dirty 12square meters for 3 people? What a disaster. Pretty pricey one. 150eur per night might have been spent much better. No space in room, no hairdryer, not even bottle of water. Hot water for 1Eur im a lobby from Nespresso machine.
But what was the worst is that there NO window of any kind. You feel like in prison, so this place is the last one you would like to be in. Never again!

New hotel. Clean and spacious for price. Helpful staff. Located within walking distance from train station, although Maastricht's pebble streets and sidewalks made it challenging to walk with rolling suitcases.

Rooms on second floor can get a bit noisy from pedestrians walking below. We had a room facing the Meuse river, which was pretty nice.

Some things to note:
-no refrigerator
-no electric kettle, but there is a vending machine at the reception.
-they do not clean your room daily, though new towels are available on request.

A/C (or heating) wasn't working so our room was quite cold (considering it was less than 0 degrees outside we could have done with some heat)

Does exactly what it says in the tin! Decent size room, clean and comfy. T separate comfy beds for me and teenage son. Great location in centre of town. All the staff were great and friendly, including the night guy when I couldn’t find my card. Don’t expect ANY frills, but a good breakfast is 2 minutes walk away.

I do not like to leave bad reviews, which indicates how bad this actually was. Most establishments are doing their best to take care of their customers so no need to complain. I cannot say that of EasyHotel. From the minute I arrived, I saw only one example of the staff being caring of me(free bag storage). I arrived 3 hours early from a trans-atlantic flight, exhausted. Although they had cleaned and readied rooms, they were going to charge me a fee to check in early. I declined. Opted to wait in their lobby or waiting room. No they do not have either. I opted to leave my luggage and seek food and then wait on their steps since there is no other choice. Their kindness, let me store my bags for free(12 Euro normally).
The room was dirty. Dusty window sill, finger prints on the walls and windows, caked on toothpaste and hairs in the sink, hairs in the bed. No phone to call and complain. When I did, they told me I should have come down sooner. Spent 2 nights. Promised a thorough cleaning. Wasn't done. Was told she tried to clean the toothpaste herself and wouldn't come off. I easily scraped it with my fingernail. GROSS! The walls are paper thin (heard baby crying on and off all night, couple fighting, kids partying). Wouldn't move my room. Just didn't care. There are less expensive hotels that actually care about their customers. Hotels.com tried to call them to get help for the problems. No one answered.

Nice, simple hotel. Twin room was quite small but the beds were comfy, a good shower and a few English TV channels. It is quite basic but it has all you need for a short city break and is in a great location. I would definitely stay here again.
