Room was just ok. No where to put your clothes. Walls were at an angle so you could not stand up straight in the shower. Blower dryer was terrible. Bed was comfortable and staff was helpful and friendly.Would not stay here again.

Downside no lift just steep stairs. Never mind.
Ask for room 814 (first floor figure that one out!) because you get a 25 sqm open balcony where we consumed far too much wine!!

A charming hotel with all of the modern conveniences. Friendly and attentive staff. Beautiful decor and perfect location for shopping, sightseeing and restaurants. And if you need air conditioning for very hot days, this is the place for you.

The property was fun and unique and the staff was lovely. A shout out to Alexandra that made our breakfast a lovely start of each day.

The Expedia listing was incorrect, there was no elevator (which I needed due to a recent knee injury) and there were no laundry machines available as was shown in Expedia. I think whoever set the expedia account up made a mistake as they were confused why I was asking for the elevator. We looked together and they saw what I was seeing...they also showed me all of the other sites they are on that doesnt show the elevator and laundry. They did what they could to get us accomodations on a lower level. Technology sometimes goes sideways but the staff and the building were lovely.

Nic big room 2 very comfortable single beds. Great breakfast (at extra cost).
Very central & literally next to underground carpark.
Thoroughly recommend this hotel - don’t expect holiday inn style, this is a proper Netherlands house.

I cannot stress this enough, this hotel is the \"Unsatiable\". DO NOT TRUST HOTELS.COM REVIEWS, something is terribly off . The hotel uses photos on their website from \"sister hotels\" as if it is their own!

We arrived to this out dated awful building, front desk was hiding in a room and needed to be called out. Our \"Suite\" was located up 2 very narrow flights of stairs with NO ELEVATOR!!!

Location 0 Stars in our opinion, Staff not friendly at all..

Worst experience of our lives, we couldn't complete our stay and had to leave after a few hours....

Do yourself a favor, DO NOT COME HERE.

Amazing historical building

Amazing place where to stay when visiting Maastricht. It is back to th à old city, many restaurants and pubs nearby.

The staff was awesome, breakfast was top knocked!! Our room was noisy facing the river, even with the windowsclosed. If you book a room ask for a courtyard view. No lift and we were on the top floor. Alot of European hotel are like that. Ask for a lower floor as the steps are very steep.

A FANTASTIC STAY IN MAASTRICHT

This was the first time that we had visited this hotel and we were not disappointed. On arrival at the Reception we were treated lime members of the family. Nothing was too much trouble for the Manger and his team of amazing staff. They all went out of their way to ensure that we had a greet three night stay. The breakfasts were really substantial and set us up for the day. The Drink and Cake in the afternoon was a nice little touch. Overall it was a great experience. Congratulations to all concerned. I would certainly recommend this lovely hotel

From the moment we arrived the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was superb comfortable clean and Devore was splendid. Beautiful hotel - lovely room with high ceiling, big windows and old firepace. Charming. Beautiful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Also a GREAT location.

Bed Bugs!!!

Our trip started really promising, we liked the view from the window, the spacious room accommodating 3 people, the furnishing, making you feel at home. The problem started after midnight when bugs started crawling over the beds, over the book that I was reading, the wall next our luggage. After quick Google search we identified them as bed bugs, something that I was not expecting from any place offering lodging, let alone with \"Fabulous\" reviews. We called the hotel number and were told that someone will come to help us. An hour and a half later (around 2:30 am) the receptionist arrived, he was very helpful, offered us two rooms and helped us move. We could not sleep, because we were checking around for bugs and also the rooms were very cold. At check out I notified the morning receptionist about the problem, she did not looked surprised, apologized half-heartedly, but did not offered any compensation for our inconvenience. Nobody was interested to inspect the room and verify our concerns, to us it looked like this had happened before and they were aware of the problem I asked to be reimbursed for the room cost, last week we received half of it. I am writing this review to spare future guests our unfortunate experience and to make sure that the hotel management take serious measures to eliminate the problem. We were terrified that we will bring some of the bugs with us after reading how hard it is to get rid of them. It will take me a while until I sleep in hotel again!

All in all a nice place just out of the heart of old town. It was clean and the staff was somewhat friendly. However, they made a mistake with our room (which they admitted) and made us change at 21:00. It was made more awkward by the staff waiting outside our room while we packed our things and moved. Otherwise it was a lovely hotel, I would stay there again.

Comfortable stay in a perfect location by the rive

We stayed in the quadruple room on the top floor. The room was quite big. It was hot when we stayed there and there was air conditioning in one room; however it was a bit warmer in the second room as there was no fan to circulate the air though the second room benefitted from the air conditioning as well. Beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was clean.

There are no lifts in the hotel for those with difficulty walking.

The location is excellent, within walking distance to everything. We would stay here again.

It was great being able to stay in an older, but completely renovated property just steps from the city center. Our room was spacious, very clean and quiet. The breakfast was wonderful and served in historic rooms. A special mention for the reception desk person, Samantha. She was extremely helpful and went beyond the call of duty to help us get some things printed. Great hotel and great staff!

We loved everything about this hotel! Our ground floor room was enormous with a huge, comfortable bed. Great shower. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully served. My favourite thing is that they had a fresh squeezed orange juice machine! The service was top notch. I fully intend to stay there again and have already recommended it to friends who will be going on holidays soon.

This was a perfectly lovely hotel, well located within Maastricht. The bed was very comfortable, and the room well appointed for my needs. I also appreciated being able to turn on the heating after a long day walking around outside in the cold. The staff was also lovely and kind.

Auch beim zweiten Besuch wurden wir wieder freundlich empfangen. Dieses Mal leider ein Zimmer im Haus ohne Aufzug. Die Betten sind bequem, die Lage ist hervorragend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Schönes Zimmer, hübscher Frühstücksraum. Frühstück selbst ist kein Highlight, aber völlig in Ordnung. Sehr nettes Personal. Hotel ist in Laufweite zum Vrijthof, wir waren zum Andre Rieu Konzert hier. Wenn man Glück hat und zeitig da ist, bekommt man einen Parkplatz direkt hinter dem Hotel, sonst muss man ins nahegelegene Parkhaus fahren. Alles in allem: sehr zufrieden - würde ich empfehlen für einen Maastricht-Besuch und auch selbst wieder buchen. Maastricht ist (auch ohne Andre Rieu Konzert) eine Reise wert!

Bra hotell med bra läge.

Trevligt hotell med bra läge nära centrum, sevärdheter och restauranger. Det enda som drar ner betyget en aning är att det ligger i ett gammalt hus med väldigt trånga och branta trappor. Vi fick ett fint rum högst upp men vägen upp och er med bagage var besvärlig. Ingen hiss. Men i det stora hela, mycket trevligt!

Het ontbijt was uitgebreid, lieve dames die voor het ontbijt zorgden, kamer was oke, badkamer had iets ruimer gemogen, een plankje om je spullen op te zetten iets groter, een haakje voor je handdoeken ipv ze over de verwarming te moeten hangen. Verder prima verblijf gehad , we waren er 2 nachten.

Dit is een prima hotel met een rustieke uitstraling. De ligging is uitstekend op loopafstand van de Markt en het Vrijthof. Het ligt mooi aan de Maasboulevard, daardoor hoor je wel het nodige verkeer langskomen. Suggestie voor het hotel: plaats dubbel glas, dat scheelt enorm. De kamers zijn uitstekend, van alle gemakken voorzien, prima badkamer. De sfeer van de kamer geeft een huiskamergevoel, dat vonden wij aangenaam. Het ontbijt was uitstekend, vriendelijk personeel. Dit hotel is absoluut een aanrader.

Service bij receptie prima. Vriendelijk en informatief. Kamer was prima. Ruim en schoon. Douche was niet ok. Te weinig waterdruk 3e etage. En de hoogte was niet goed. Advies om het bad eruit te halen zodat je op een normale manier onder deregendouche kan staan. Gewone douchekop kon niet op een goede manier opgehangen worden.

Im ersten Zimmer war Schimmel im Bad, auf Nachfragen bekamen wir direkt ein anderes Zimmer.
Dies war deutlich kleiner und in die Jahre gekommen, aber ok.
Aber für mich kein 4 Sterne Standard.
Das Bett war gemütlich und die Lage war absolut top.
Wenn man einen der wenigen Parkplätze bekommt, kann man für 28€ die Nacht zentral parken.
Zum Frühstück können wir nichts sagen, das Buffet sah OK aus.

Etwas altes Stadthotel mit guter Lage

Positiv: Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, die Stadt ist zu Fuss gut erreichbar.
Negativ: Das Zimmer ist recht alt und bietet nicht viel Komfort. Das Personal ist teilweise schlecht im Bilde und wirkt wohl deshalb etwas unfreundlich. In Bezug auf die Optionen für das Frühstück ist man sehr unflexibel.

Fint hotell med trevligt rum, rent och fräscht. Däremot fick vi rum högst upp med en brant trappa till rummet, var okej för oss men kan tycka att man borde förvarnat om det vid incheckning ifall man har problem att gå. Vi bad också om strykbräda men det dröjde lång tid innan den kom till vårt rum och vi var tvungna att checka ut. Parkeringen var bra men ganska dyr.

Gutes Stadthotel für Kurztrip

Leider war der Empfang sehr unhöflich. Die zwei Damen am Empfang haben uns ein paar Minuten ignoriert. Dann zsm gesprochen. Dass Zimmer und die Lage waren sehr gut. Unser Wunsch für ein veganes Frühstück wurde im Vorfeld bei Buchung und Empfang bestätigt. Die Dame beim Frühstück wusste jedoch nichts.

De accommodatie verdient een opknapbeurt. Deurklink zat niet vast, kon je er zo uittrekken. Doucheputje liep niet door. Slechte douche. Geen afzetplankje in de badkamer voor je toilettas. Deur van de douche bleef niet openstaan, handdoek nodig om ertussen te leggen. Geen koffertafel aanwezig. Vieze vloer.

Un placard à balais bien rentabilisé ?

Une petite chambre sous le toit donc il reste environ 6 m carrés debout mais surtout deux lits au milieu de cette pièce SANS tête de lit ni tables de chevet. Comment fait-on pour lire ou regarder la télévision si on ne peut qu’être couché ???
Il va sans dire qu’il n’y avait pas d’armoire ni aucune place pour une valise.

Goed met aandachtspunten

Prima verblijf op loopafstand van centrum. Goed ontbijt. Onze kamer kon wel een opknapbeurt krijgen (bedden en stoelen). In de gang hing een sterke wietlucht!
