Small, basic room that was very expensive / overpriced, although all hotels in Maastricht were very expensive on this weekend. There is no hotel reception area; they are basically rooms above a restaurant. But the room was clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. And the location was excellent; right in the centre of Maastricht.

Lovely little cafe / hotel. Staff were super accommodating and were very helpful. The food in the cafe is lovely too!
The location is fantastic, looking over the main market area is fantastic.
Single rooms are very basic and small, however, everything you need for 1 night.

We only stayed the one night and had dinner there. The hotel was a small old school boutique with about 30 rooms. The room was small and clean. The staff were very nice and doubled as the restaurant staff as well. The area around the hotel was fabulous. Just a great experience.

It's a great location on the town square with a lively restaurant below. The noise can be a little loud on the side closest to the street, but the windows when closed block much of the sound, and earplugs are offered.

The room looked out into an off road area at night it was very noisy up until gone 01:30 there was an Irish bar that was banging out music I had to close the window even with ear defenders \" supplied \" you could still hear the thud thud of music there was no air conditioning in the room one small portable fan that was next to useless , no tea / coffee facilities supplied I was a bit disappointed as this cost over 400euros for Friday and Saturday night ,the staff were great but afraid the room was a bit of a let down, sorry

Excellent hotel highly recommend

I really enjoyed my stay! While the room is compact, its feasible and there is enough space. The hotel and room were modern and comfortable. There was always hot water even on an upper floor. The walls were well insulated. I never heard neighbors. The location is excellent! You are within a few minutes walk of shopping, the market square and you can even walk to the main train station in around 10 minutes. A bus is also available. I highly recommend the breakfast as it was one of the best in my 3 week stay in Europe. My only regret is not being able to stay longer.

Poor but well located.

Amazing location and clean sheets. The bed was very soft, only 1 pillow each. The room was tiny, and had no room either side of it, but you could still hear people talking in other rooms, along with other people’s alarms. Room 20 was next to a staircase, and it was very loud. Dirty roof tiles in the room, wonky pictures. Towels that have been washed more times than you would think possible. The price we paid in advance was £20 more than the price if we had booked on the day.

Staff were friendly, cafe underneath looked lush.

If you’re not fussed about anything fancy and can sleep through anything, then this place may be for you.

Location is a double-edged sword. Having a balcony overlooking the grote markt/stadhuis is only nice during the day. Sleeping with all the noise was difficult but overall still possible. The rooms appear to have not been renovated in a while and the hallways were quite dirty. A huge plus is the food, as the restaurant is much better and has many options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner

The location is hard to beat, but the elevator smelled terrible, the rooms were small, the bathrooms small, the beds were ok but not great for couples.the hallway also had the vague smell of urinal cake. Also, avoid the hotel breakfast at all costs.

We were freezing in the room without heating.Actualy there is no 24 hours front desk service.The waiter ,on the ground floor,Mr. Quito was so rude and mean to me . I felt very uncomfortable!

Chique hotel with an atmosphere

I spent 5 nights in a room from the \"comfort room\" category. The room was big enough, and had a wonderful view of the market square. The hotel has a nice atmosphere, and all the staff where very friendly. I would defintly stay again and I whole heartdly recommend the place.

Nice hotel close in the heart of Maastricht

This hotel is in the heart of the city on one of the big squares (Markt) the other one (Vrijthof) minutes walk away and the rest of the old city center in between and around. Although it is located above a bar and there are many other bars around it was very quite at night and they serve a nice breakfast. Staff was very friendly and quick with check-in/check-out even though they had to attend to the bar.

Right on the main square and close to the river. The hotel is part of a restaurant/cafe so lots of mmovement but check in/out was easy. Payment is cash or card, no prference on their part. A good buffet breakfast IS included in the price. Taxi from train staion was 10 Euros, later found it was easy to walk, but a hassle lugging suitcases. A large mall about 100 yards away with a good super.

Very noisy in the evening

The place is extremely noisy especially in the weekends. It is placed above bars so those who have a problem with noise should better stay away. It seems that there is no proper insulation with the other rooms either. The location is central but still noisy in the evening. The room was ok but overall the hotel is overpriced for what it offers.

good but noisy

The stay was ok, I checked in without problems. Room was ready and quite clean except toilet (toilet was clean only from visual look, but if you look closer there was a lot of mold and dirty inside).
Breakfast was really good and tasty (bacon with eggs :) ) so no problems here as well. Hotel service was good although rooms are rather small and there is a lot of noise all the time, from street, from bar downstairs, from everything else, i had impression that windows only enhance thouse sounds instead of block them :) But i was tired after whole day so I didnt have problems with sleeping.

I was in Maastricht for one of the André Riue concerts at Vrijthof Square, and finding a room in Maastricht is not easy at that time. The hotel location was perfect, right on the Market (Markt) square, just 5 mins away; and it is only 15 mins walk to the station (although I took extra time to visit shops). The hotel's ground floor is a busy restaurant. The room I had was right at the top (4th floor), and was quite small - but it was all I needed. Breakfast was fine, and it was very nice sitting outside on a quiet (Sunday) morning. The only problem was the heat - it was a particularly hot, sticky weekend, and being at the top of the hotel and with no air conditioning, the room was VERY hot. But since I only wanted a bed for the night and a shower, in central Maastricht, I was satisfied. The concert was fantastic, and my whole one-day visit to Maastricht very enjoyable - it is a lovely historical city. I want to visit again soon!

Great Location..no frills...needs a better sign

This hotel was in a great location but it is hard to find especially arriving after dark due to poor signage. The hotel had a very easy check in with a nice and helpful young man who spoke good English. The hotel breakfast was adequate and we ate outside in the sidewalk cafe. Rooms are small but comfortable enough to allow a night sleep.

A Must Stay Place in Maastrict

Outstanding hotel in a perfect location. If you are looking for a Hyatt, this isn't it, but if you want to be in a perfect location to enjoy the local sites, this place is a 5 star. Rooms are on the small side for Americans, but typical of European Hotels. Includes lovely full breakfast. Elevator. Secure.

The hotel was very good, location excellent, easy to find. we had a great view from our window of the City Hall and Markt. Breakfast was excellent but they did run out of some things. Staff was very helpful and would surely have dealt with the missing breakfast items had we asked. Definitely recommend it.

Wie im Grunde alle Hotels im Zentrum das Bauwerk in alter Bauweise.
Innen modern.
Das Restaurant war super! Sehr leckere Speisen, gute Auswahl.
Cocktailauswahl ebenso gut, wie auch gemacklich gut! Unser Tipp: Der leckere Sangria.
Das Frühstück war geschmacklich sehr gut, die Auswahl auf das nötigste beschränkt. Jedoch für nur 12,50 € je Person super günstig und somit ein gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

The single-room is very very very small, the bath is too tiny for a man to use without flooding it. Breakfast starts at 8 a.m. what is too late imo, but is OK for its price. The coffe tastes medium. Service-staff is pretty nice and friendly. No too bad but also no too outstanding stay.

Hôtel d’un bon rapport qualité prix. En plein centre de Maastricht, il donne sur la place du marché. Il n’y a pas de réception, vous entrez et faites le check in directement dans le restaurant, ce qui est un peu étrange ! La place du marché est bruyante, beaucoup de bars et restaurants ouverts très tard la nuit et le marché qui ouvre tôt le matin. L’hôtel étant mal insonorisé, sommeil léger s’abstenir !

terrible service et harnac. Chambre 31 Fevrier 2025. les clés électroniques n’ont pas fonctionné , ils ont changé les clefs mais ils m’ont pas informé ou donné des nouvelles cles . Résultat: la nuit, j’étais devant la porte fermée et il n’ y avait aucune numéro d’urgence à contacter . J’étais obligé à dormir autre part. L’hôtel ( « Ingrid » ) m’a rassuré le lendemain de me rembourser mais ne l’a pas fait depuis 6 jours. faire un erreur c’est possible, mais des fausses promesses et pas de remboursement c’est inacceptable! A fuir !

Bonne propreté de L'hôtel
la chambre N° 20 petite mais peu de bruit le soir par contre chambre 28 le lendemain pièce mansardée pas confortable pas de climatisation ( température extérieure 27 degrés) donc obliger de laisser la lucarne de toit ouverte il fallait supporter le bruit incessant des discos et des personnes jusqu'à 5h du matin! donc à éviter.
Petit déjeuner agréable il y a même du pain sans gluten pour les personnes concernées

parking CABERGERWEG (FRONTENSINGEL) à 8 minutes à pied 18 Eur pour 2 jours les autres parkings sont très chers

Second séjour. Accueil assez froid. Chambre \"Confort \" bien placée et assez grande. Aménagement OK. Bonne literie mais GROS DEFAUT : Porte salle de bain translucide en face des lits, vraiment très peu d'intimité et très désagréable ! Petit déjeuner correct sans plus. Hôtel très bien situé, parking payant facile, MAIS nous n'irons plus dans cet hôtel à cause de ce problème de porte de salle de bain.

Het raam bevat kieren waardoor er wind over mijn schouders en hoofd waaide waardoor ik slecht sliep. Hierdoor kwam ook meer lawaai van buiten naar binnen. Het bed lag ook niet lekker maar dat kan smaak zijn. Ook was het ineensbloedheet in de nacht.

Okay hotel in city-center, but needs a refreshment

Okay hotel. Location is perfect.
Good staff. Rooms are ready for a new and better vacuumcleaner. And hotel itself needs some resfreshment. Bed was good, sheets were clean. Bathroom was soso. Breakfast was perfect. Fresh and nice bread. A lot to choose.
Good hotel to explore the city. Put some earplugs in your suitcase, because Maastricht-city is also busy ar night ;-)
