We absolutely loved our stay at the Dutch, Maastricht was a gem of a city and the Dutch is perfectly located if you like wandering. It’s a 5 minute walk to the train station and about a 10 minute walk to the city center. We plan on staying here again!

This is my first experience of a staff free hotel. Check in was straight-forward as was check out. Property was clean and well laid out in a quiet area and convenient for railway and bus. I gave a low rating for staff as we did not see any. I would have given a higher overall rating but for the fact that someone decided to upgrade the televisions in the morning. Have you ever been woken by someone using A F#####G HAMMER DRILL on the other side of your wall? I hope that the laundry is able to get the sheets clean. Overall I was quite happy but the drill experience on my last morning was a severe downer. If there had been a receptionist then they would have got an earful.

This hotel is fine. Very quiet. Self-serve check-in and bar. They can deliver you a \"breakfast in a bag\" but no restaurant. So, you hardly see anyone who works there. The room was very spacious for a European hotel and the bathroom was split with a room for bath and one for toilet. It is a convenient walk from the train station and into the old town.

The Hotel was well situated from the train station, less than 5 minute walk. The Hotel itself was very good, easy to self check in, but always a member of staff their to assist if needed. Room was very clean and spacious. Free coffee and tea was most welcome along with fruit and water. Plenty of restaurants near by, so not far to walk. All in all I would highly recommend The Hotel Dutch.

Amazing hotel to stay in. So many extras that most hotels in this category don’t supply. The hang out room with unlimited coffees / tea, bananas, fruit in fridge, pastries, games set up like chess, connect four, etc. ( though the unending female skimpy dancing on screen music videos in hang out room were very sexist for these times and loud so didn’t make it relaxing to read and ‘hang out’)

A fun quirky sense of humour throughout the hotel. Well designed rooms.
Self checkin and out was so easy. Close to railway station and heaps of eating places in close proximity

The hotel is in a prime location 4 min walk from the train station, and 12 min walk to the main square. The staff were very friendly and helpful couldn't wish for more. It had a free drinks machine in the hotel. Everything was clean and tidy with a comfy bed, perfect!

I would use this hotel again if back in Maastricht. Straightforward check in/out . Used the “breakfast bag “ service which involved leaving the empty bag hanging on the door ,with a preferred delivery time ,and the breakfast was left in the bag - juice/ yogurt/ granola/ fruit/ pastry.

Had the utter misfortune of booking a night at Le Dutch and we will never darken their doors again

Only after hitting the submit button did I notice the date did not match my original search. I immediately called customer service but they would only volunteer to contact the hotel to see if the hotel would “permit” the change …..guess what? They didn’t. If I’d tried to change after a day or even after 1 hr, sure, hold me accountable but when I’m calling you literally within 15 seconds to alert you there is a problem and I not only was looking for a different date but I was looking for TWO nights & not one.

Nope. They could note have cared less & I was now committed to staying for 1 night, 2 months earlier than I had searched for

And how awesome that I am a gold meme er on hotels.com. They were useless!

So if you’re looking for a hotel that offers decent customer service and would be is a repeat-worthy visit, this is not the place. I cannot believe your customer service is so strict that someone calling within seconds, to alert an error has been made, is given zero consideration or benefit of the doubt. So yeah, you got 1 night out of me. You could have had 2 and a repeat visitor. Never again……

Had such a lovely day at the Dutch. So clean & comfortable. Spacious room. Great bed & pillows, we both slept so well, black out curtains were a bonus, no outside noise. Separate toilet and bathroom, great shower and was lovely to have a bath too to ease the aching muscles after a long day sightseeing, lots of toiletries, fluffy towels, hairdryer. In the room we had a safe, TV, plenty of hanging space. Had a cute red Smeg fridge with mini bar, tea tray on top with sachets of coffee & brown sugar, tea bags, sachets of powdered milk....this is a small annoyance, can't understand why they use horrible powdered milk when a fridge is in the room, as I say it was a very small gripe. Housekeeping every day. Ironing board & Iron in press in the hallway
The hotel use self service check in which is very easy to use. The reception area is lovely, again everything is so clean, the \"Hang Out\" area is great with plenty of games available. We arrived around 8pm, pressed the intercom, gave our details to the receptionist and doors opened, receptionist is available anytime if you have an issue, just call the number provided. We met her in person when we were checking out, she was so friendly and interested in our stay in Maastrict.
Location is perfect. On a little side street, a few minutes walk from Maastrict train station. Hotel is in a beautiful area , lovely bars & restaurants beside it. Lovely short walk to the Bridge and you are in the centre.

The Dutch was recommended to me by my boss as my wife and I planned a weekend away for our anniversary. I'm glad she recommended it as it was a perfect stay.

Once you find the check-in desk (a bit weird due to COVID) everything else is easy. It's a short walk from the station, short walk to the bridge, restaurants all around and feels like a safe area to walk around (all of Maastricht that we saw did).

The staff at The Beaumont are currently checking you in and gave exemplary service throughout, even helping us rearrange our booking at Harry's for brunch on Sunday morning (I will say, I'd check out The Beaumont next time to see the difference). Check-in and out was easy and entering The Dutch you notice its a place built for fun.

We were on the top floor - fortunately the aircon worked great - and it was quiet although we had the elevator next to us. Bit annoying as you could hear it through the wall but it becomes white noise. If you're a light sleeper, Room 51 may not be for you.

There's an honesty bar, irons on each floor (why don't all hotels at least do this), a minibar (which we didn't use to be honest), good toiletries, overall a good experience.

Highly recommended and location really can't be beat for me.

The hotel is super cute and hipster (if your looking for that). Modern touches and fun novelties from the 90s. This hotel is def IG worthy. Also the staff and location were superb. Easy access from the train station (5 min walk) and within the Wyck district of great shopping :) Highly recommend.

Good value and very good hotel in its own right

This was my second stay here and I'll be back next time I'm in Maastricht. I can't really fault the hotel in any way. It is a short walk from the train station so it's good to not have to carry big luggage too far on cobblestone streets. Once there, it's easy to go anywhere in the town on foot as Maastricht is quite a compact place. Free hot drinks and snacks also make it good value for money. Cleanliness was better than a few four-start hotel I stayed at.

Could not say a bad word about the Dutch. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The little extras such as ice lollies, fruit and unlimited coffee etc made our stay that little bit special. Also loved the breakfast in a bag which was different.
I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again. Wish it had been longer than three nights.

We enjoyed our stay here because it was clean, nice size rooms, good breakfast, but most important on premises parking. We watched so many people pulling their luggage in town to their hotel where there was no parking. The location right on a canal made for fun watching boats go by.

Hotel is perfectly placed in a great area of Maastricht just steps away from the station. The staff there could not be more welcoming or accommodating. Rooms were nicer than many 4 star + hotels I have stayed at. All details are well thought out and considered. I absolutely loved my stay here and would go back again and again. The breakfast bag was excellent quality and a nice area to sit and eat at your leisure with free coffee. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

My favorite hotel in Maastricht

I have been to Maastricht several times in the past and stayed in different hotels. This is the best one I stayed so far and is a very good value. First, it is close to the station. True, it is not in the old part of the city but the proximity to the station is very convenient. Drop off your bag and go. The old town is only 5 minuets away and on your way you see (and can stop) old bakeries and other interesting shops. The room was clean and I loved the amenities. “We work” inspired common area was great ( a fridge stocked with fruits and water, and espresso/capcino mashine - all free ) and cheaky amenities in the room and breakfast bag (included) was a nice touch. The room I stayed was only accessible by narrow steep stairs ( which was fine with me but some may find it difficult) but they have rooms accessible by the elevator too. Lastly but not least, the staff was very friendly. I will definitely book this hotel again when I come back to Maastricht. (Which I am planing to do in the summer of 2018).

Quiet hotel near Train and all points of interest.

Charming hotel within easy walking distance of City, shops, restaurants and tours. Had 2 sunny days and enjoyed the final Andre Rieu summer concert under the poncho when it rained for almost the duration but this did not dampen the enthusiasm of his many fans. Holiday of a lifetime!

This is where you want to stay in Maastricht. It's in the Wyck neighborhood between the rail station and the City Center--a quiet and convenient area of town with plenty of dining and cafe and shopping options. The hotel itself is very comfortable and modern, and the staff were among the friendliest and most helpful we've ever known. As a pleasant surprise, small things are complimentary with your room such as snacks and soft drinks in the lounge and in your minibar, and a light breakfast. The hotel owners have understood that these minor things don't generate nearly as much revenue for the hotel as they generate irritation among the customers. We look forward to visiting Maastricht again someday, and when we do we will definitely stay at The Dutch.

This hotel was one of the best we have ever stayed in. Friendly staff at a 24h desk. Clean and modern hotel and rooms. The rooms have a mini fridge with pop, beer and snacks included free of charge and there were also snacks and drinks in the lounge including an excellent coffee/ hot chocolate machine. Everything a person needs for a comfortable stay was thought of in advance and included free of charge. Highly recommended!

Excellent hotel! Very friendly and courteous staff. Great attention to detail - coffee, tea and hot chocolate always available in the lobby, treats for free in the minibar, umbrellas ready at the door for rainy days, and loved the breakfast in a bag. Wonderful location - 5 minutes walking distance from train station, and close to center of town and boat tours. We would definitely stay here again!
