I don’t recommend this place at all! 3 star is for the River view. Had I known this is actually a youth hostel with some “comfort room” I wouldn’t have booked it at this price for my vacation. River view is not but we had to live with youngsters racing in hallway with big noises at 10:40pm every night! When we arrived on the rainy afternoon at about 2:30, the young guy at front desk didn’t check at all and didn’t dare to look at our eyes and told us check in has to be at 3pm! At 3 pm we were checked in by a young lady. I don’t believe they can’t accommodate a 30-minute early check-in for customers who walked in the rain with luggage to get there. No cups for water or anything. No coffee maker.

The receptionist couldn't recommend what to do and see apart from the boat trip which we had already booked online. We found out about the walking tours too late.

as it was a mixed dorm, and being an early riser, I had to be mindful of everyone else, perfect for friends or families. cannot comment on the food as I always ate out, but the prices are comparable, if not cheaper. you have to ask at reception for coffee if they have not opened for breakfast.

Good price, walking distance from center.

Clean space, friendly and helpful staff.
I stayed there only for one night for the Andre Rieu concert. Clean restrooms in the lobby area, nice terrace with amazing views. Overall a good space to sleep for a good price.

Very Good Hostel for roaming around the city

I stayed in 7 sharing room, however only 4 were present. Hostel is good if you just want to sleep and meet people. Not great for privacy. But it was a good getaway for visiting the city.

Friendly Youth Hostel close to central Maastricht

Very friendly and helpful staff who were welcoming. This is a youth hostel and the rooms etc are in keeping with this. Breakfast was basic but absolutely fine and plenty of it. We had a great stay and would stay again.

the most perfect stay in a beautiful city

I went to see an Andre Rieu concert and spend a few days looking around Maastricht. Th hostel staff were very welcoming and were always on hand to make the stay the best it could possibly be. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast was plentiful with a lot to choose from. The hostel has a very good location overlooking the river. There are bikes to hire and it is just across the road from a beautiful park. It is a very beautiful city and I should like to return in the near future.

Fantastic!

It was very cheap (£12p.p/p.n) so jumped on the price as a student. I didn't know what to expect but was happily suprised. We were placed in a large room (with separate shower and toilet room). The whole place was fairly sustainable and the price included an all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast. The food there was very nice.

The staff at the hostel were also very welcoming and offered great advice on where to eat and what to do. They also provided directions to walk to Belgium in under 2 hours and went out of their way to help us.

After checkout, we were able to use the secured luggage room to store our bags so didn't have to carry them with us for the final day. They allowed us to keep them in there as long as needed, which was a great help.

In terms of location, it was perfect. It is just outside the city centre, which allowed for more exploration of the local area. However, it was still close enough to reach in within a 5 minute walk.

4 persoonskamer gehad met 2 pubers. Sanitair en kamer waren goed schoon. Er zijn 4 lockers om je spullen in te doen. Die vond ik wat klein en onhandig. Je kijkt vanuit het restaurant op de Maas en loopt zo hartje centrum van Maastricht in. Echt een aanrader.

Rapport qualité prix exceptionnel !

Situation géographique idéale pour visiter Maastricht à pieds. vue imprenable sur le fleuve depuis la terrasse, avec la possibilité de dîner au bord de l'eau moyennant un prix très abordable.
Le lieu est étonnament calme malgré la proximité de la route : les lacs, les bois et le fleuve doivent y contribuer.
Très bon petit déjeuner.
Le personnel est très souriant et agréable.
L'Hôtel dans sa globalité est propre, des chambres aux couloirs, de la salle de bar/restaurant à la terrasse extérieure.
Le rapport qualité prix est exceptionnel !

Das Hostel liegt direkt an der Maas und die Gute Lage. Die Innenstadt ist nur 10 min. zu Fuß entfernt. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Nachts war es leise im Hostel. Keine Störungen durch Straßenlärm oder spät heimkehrense Gäste. Die Einrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen und sollte einmal renoviert werden. Das Frühstück ist O.K.

Betten sind zu schmal, muss man selbst beziehen und auch wieder Bettwäsche ablegen. Ich bin sportlich, trotzdem hatte ich Probleme oben ins Doppelstockbett zu kommen. Der Boden klebte. Der Hausgang hätte der Staubsauger mal zum Einsatz kommen können.

Für Urlaubende, Familien, Radler gut geeignet

Sehr schön gelegen, direkt an der Maas. Die Räumlichkeiten für eine Juhe sehr großzügig. Zum Frühstück konnte man direkt auf der Veranda in die Sonne sitzen. Leider war kein Fenster in unserem Zimmer zu öffnen (auch nicht zu kippen), im Zimmer dementsprechend ziemlich schwül.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Hostel op wandelafstand van het centrum. Openbare parking naast het hotel... 6€ voor 24h.
Wij hadden een kamer met 2 metalen stapelbedden. De bedden piepten continue. Er kwam een enorme vieze geur uit de badkamer. Zeer onaangenaam...
Er was totaal geen comfort.

Centraal hotel dat wel. Kamer was qua ruimte prima, maar een opgemaakt bedje voelt toch wat welkomer. Je bent moe en dan moet je zelf nog even klimmen en klauteren om je bed op te maken. De bedden lagen wel erg lekker. Uitzicht op de Maas was leuk. De vloerbedekking vond ik echt viezig, dat hoort niet in een hotel waar zoveel mensen lopen. De entree vond ik ook beetje viezig. De receptie was wel netjes. Maar de relaxstoelen bij de voetbaltafel waren echt heel vies. Daarbij vind ik dat een ontbijt erbij hoort, en dat moest je ook nog eens even afrekenen voor 7€ pp. De prijs vind ik te duur voor deze kwaliteit die ze rekenen. Ook geen handdoeken, vond ik ook een minpunt. Uiteindelijk is een luxer hotelletje in Valkenburg net zo duur inclusief ontbijt of een hotelletje in Maastricht. Voortaan kies ik daar dan voor.

Leuke centraal gelegen jeugdherberg met fijne extraatjes zoals de pingpong tafels en kickertafel etc.
Het personeel is heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk.
Als je deze Stayokay vergelijkt met deze in Utrecht zou deze toch eens mogen opgefrist en gemoderniseerd worden. Vooral de tapijten zijn aan vervanging toe maar al bij al een toffe plaats om met kinderen te logeren. Het zicht vanop het terras is ook heel aangenaam.
Het ontbijt is heel basic maar je hebt er voldoende mee gegeten.

De stayokay staat op een mooie locatie. Aan de Maas. Vanuit sommige kamers en het restaurant uitzicht op de Maas. Prettige schone kamers. In het restaurant us het gezellig om een drankje te drinken. En het personeel is heel vriendelijk.Bovendien kun je voor weinig geld je auto vlak naast de stayokay parkeren.En in 5 min ben je in het centrum.

Ostello nella media, bella terrazza.

Rientra nella media degli ostelli che nei quali abbiamo soggiornato in questi anni, forse solo un po' piccola come stanza rispetto ad altre esperienze, ma se ci si sta solo per dormire, come facciamo noi, va benissimo. In compenso ci sono un bel bar, dei giochi, spazi comuni e soprattutto la bella terrazza sul fiume. Il venerdi sera c'è un po' di confusione perchè ballano la salsa. Il parcheggio è pubblico e a pagamento, ma 6 euro al giorno non sono molti.Per il resto tutto ok.

Het hotel ligt op loop afstand van het centrum. Aan de overkant ligt een park. Er is een ruime bar/ eetzaal en een groot terras aan de Maas. De bar is tot 24.00 geopend dus we konden s avonds nog wast drinken. De kamer was schoon en eenvoudig.

Ik was er voor een kort nachtje tussen 2 afspraken door en kwam 's avonds laat aan. Ik kreeg de sleutel van de kamer, maar toen ik binnenkwam kon ik het lichtknopje niet vinden en ik was bang om een grote lamp aan te doen, omdat er mensen lagen te slapen. Een beetje lastig als je er voor het eerst komt

wij hadden een privé kamer voor 2 geboekt (incl badkamer en toilet) en kregen uiteindelijk een kamer voor 4 personen. Basic ingericht maar uiteindelijk is alles aanwezig wat nodig is om te overnachten en eens te douchen. De inrichting van de bar en eetruimte is zeer hip en modern en aangenaam vertoeven. Het ontbijt was boven onze verwachting, vrij uitgebreid en vers brood. StayOkay Maastricht is ideaal qua uitvalsbasis, op enkele minuten wandelafstand van het centrum en een goedkope parking (6€/dag) vlak naast het hotel. Wij komen terug :-)

Não deu pra dormir, ou seja, a única coisa que eu faria lá. Travesseiros fedem a suor. forro da cama com cheiro ruim. banheiro desconfortável de deficiente, pouca luz no quarto e no banheiro.
Cortinas não vedavam a luz da rua.
não te dão nem uma toalhinha, nem desinfetantes, nem sabonete. NADA.
Café da manhã bom. instalações boas. localização razoável.

L'auberge est située en plein centre, près d'un parc. Facile d'accès depuis l'autoroute. Il y a tout le nécessaire que l'on peut attendre dans une auberge de jeunesse. Parfait pour notre voyage entre amis.

Goedkoop hotel in het centrum van Maastricht. Kamers schoon. Gedeeld of privé kamers. Ontbijt was slecht, vooral omdat het servies vies was het koffie apparaat vies en een glaasje water heb ik overgeslagen omdat het apparaat verroest was (er niet hygiënisch uit zag). Ook weinig keuze. Verder een prima uitvalbasis.

Tämä sopii parhaiten nuorisolle tai isolle perheelle, jotka matkustavat yhdessä isolla porukalla. Tuolloin kuitenkin myös normaali hotelli maksaa saman. Hostellin majoittuu pääasiassa nuorisoa, joka valvoi myöhään ja nukkuminen oli hankalaa melun tms. vuoksi. Suihkua tulee jonottaa.
Matkatavarasäilytys maksaa 3 euroa. Polkupyöriä voi vuokrata noin 9 eurolla per päivä. Hintaan sisältyi aamupala, joka oli hyvä asia.

Hotel céntrico y buen desayuno

Nos dieron una habitación de 6 y éramos 4, así que nos resultó bastante espaciosa. El baño y la ducha estaban separados y dentro de la habitación. La ubicación perfecta para ir andando en 10 minutos al centro y sin ruido por la noche. ¡El desayuno muy rico!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Ausblick auf die Maas. Das Zimmer war wie beschrieben, kein Luxus. Es war sehr sauber und ich würde dort immer wieder gern absteigen. Einzig die Dusche hat uns nicht so gefallen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und wir konnten problemlos ein Frühstück mehr . (Wir besuchten unsere Tochter und sie kam dann zum Frühstück dazu)

Gute Unterkunft in Stadtnähe

Wir waren 1 Nacht vor Ort. Sehr gut hat mir gefallen, dass das Kopfkissen und die Matratze noch zusätzlich mit einer undurchlässigen Schutzhülle eingefasst waren. Hier wird an große Menschen gedacht. Die Bettwäsche war so groß und das Bettlaken ebenfalls, sodass es ein leichtes war, die Betten zu beziehen. Ebenfalls stößt man sich auch nicht den Kopf am oberen Bett, wenn man im unteren Bett sitzt. Schade war nur, dass der Spiegel so hoch war, da ich eher zu den kleinen Menschen gehöre.
Leider lag unser Zimmer direkt an einer Lüftungs- bzw. Klimaanlage, die sehr laut war.

Basic,op loopafstand van het centrum.

Wij hadden een kamer met onze drie kinderen voor onszelf, twee bedden waren naast elkaar gezet. De bedden van roestvrij staal vonden we een beetje gevangenis- achtig en de matrassen en kussens ziekenhuis- achtig, maar het was wel heel schoon! De lakens die je er zelf om moest doen waren ook superschoon en zacht, uiteindelijk heerlijk geslapen. Het ontbijt overtrof onze verwachtingen, heerlijk versgebakken croissants erbij, van alles om te kiezen. De locatie was ook super, je loopt een prachtig park door en je komt bij de oude stad. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk.
