The hotel manager took us to the room, gave us a tour and helped with our heaviest bag. It was a super location and it was essentially a modern equipped full 1 br/1 ba apartment. When we revisit Maastricht we will def stay there!

Room was perfect for us. Although we were there for only one evening, it was centrally located to the historical district, had great amenities which allowed us to wash all our clothes as we had been living like nomads for a couple of weeks. Highly recommend.

Great little apartment right in the tourist areas of Maastricht. We had a lovely stay - except that the upper floor windows did not open due to an inexcusable installation of the curtain rods, which as they were blocked the windows from swinging open. Curtains could have easily been hung lower on the windows themselves and the windows would have opened. Combining no-opening windows with no air conditioning in a heatwave was pretty brutal. Staff was apologetic, but not helpful. Could be fixed in an hour by someone reasonably handy.

We spent 5 days in Maastricht and loved having this little oasis in the middle of the city. Shopping and restaurants are a close walk and the train station is a 20 minute walk over the bridge. We loved having plenty of space and amenities like a full kitchen and laundry in the apartment. Everyone we encountered at the property were friendly and accommodating. It was such a treat to spend a few days in the heart of the city, we’d definitely stay here again!

The location is excellent and the property is on the square. Sadly the delux apartment was anything but deluxe. We arrived to a closed door and a note to ring a number. Nobody was in the Reception, this was 3 pm. We finally gained access via a key fob. The apartment was dirty, the sofa and carpet were stained. There were dirty marks on the kitchen units, bathroom and floor and the shower leaked. It was and old, tired and dirty apartment that did not match the marketing. We tried to complain via Expedia as there was nobody physically present on site. Eventually the manager rang me and shouted at me. There was nothing she could do! She offered another apartment for the day after but could not guarantee it was in any better condition. We cleaned the apartment ourselves and stayed for 3 nights reluctantly. I have taken photos and will complain formally. Despite the perfect location I would never stay here again.

The property itself is clean and the apartment had all of the amenities needed for a family of four. Getting into the hotel is a little tricky and should be explained better. Parking is offsite but there is a 24-hour underground parking lot nearby. The location is near many walkable areas. Would stay there again.

Property was is at a good location, shopping is very close by , but there is no microwave, under the bad was different old garbage from previous guests, but in general property is good , spacious and wonderful location to get to know maastricht - vrijthof and if you’re visiting for an Andre Reui concert it’s like by your door step , you just get out of your apartment to your concert.

The property location, size and functional space was terrific. However, when we arrived, the weather was cool (1 to 9 C) each day, and the apartment heating system was off (and had been for awhile). You cannot control the heating systems without contacting reception to have someone set it. As the reception hours are limited, we were freezing until someone came with a small space heater at 10pm with a promise that someone would adjust the heating next day. We were shivering cold. I had to go to reception the next day and ask again. Maintenance came by and turned it on. Then by the evening with the floor heating on, the apartment temperature starting to go over 30C, super hot - could not sleep due to it being so hot. The next day I stopped by reception to ask to have someone adjust it down. The maintenance person came by, and tried to adjust, but while working on it, said it is now failed to full on and will need new parts. So it will get hotter. He showed me how to remove and put back on the controller on the valves to “manually” try to adjust. I removed the controller as shown to turn off, that evening and went to bed. That did not shut off the system and that night was even hotter with all the windows open (note: the exit door was below the bedroom window and people went there to smoke and it would fill the bedroom up with smoke as we were trying to sleep). The next day, I shut in other valves to the floor heat and that corrected the temperatures myself.

We loved the suites and the hotel location was the best,close to every thing and walking distance to bus stops,just to note there is no elevator,if you have a large luggage you will need to carry it up the stairs,otherwise perfect for long stay in Maastricht,we stayed there for a week and we loved it!

We had a very lovely stay at UR. The room was very nice and clean with a perfect location to André Rieu’s concert on the Vrijthof square. It’s very near the concert’s entrance; approx. 20 steps away.
The reception is very helpful with smiles.
They also provide convenient facilities for cooking and laundry.

A functional quiet well equipped apartment

Very well equipped quiet unit that was close walking distance to many features - which was surprising as it did not look that way on Google Earth.
However like Tourist Information offices that should know better, there was poor information on public transport, ATMs, and the provided town map was out of date.
Provided hire bicycles were handy but heavy and with an inconvenient crossbar.
Wifi was very intermittent
Bridgit in the office was very helpful.

Not just like the 1st booking last year, our apt was with air conditioning, with coffee things supplies, clean our room on a daily basis. Now? Toilet has leak, nobody clean the room, no aircon, uneasy to coordinate with the reception. Maybe it’s time for me to look for another place to stay in when visiting my son who is studying in UM.

First of all would like to thank Urban Residence for offering a pleasant experience. It was much more refined and clean than the pictures provided. Washer & Dryer was a plus. All the appliances were updated. It was not only beautiful inside it had a great local view. Neal & the other lady was very pleasant to work with and kind. Especially Neal responded quickly to our need. Most of all it was very very clean which I care the most. And both my husband & I were very happy! Definitely would like to come back! Recommend to all!

The units here are full apartments with fully stocked kitchenettes, full bathrooms and a washer and drier. Miele appliances. Incredibly comfortable, private and quiet inspire of being around the corner from the main Vritjof square and the potential for business there.

This is a fantastic place to stay right in the centre of Maastricht. It is right on the Vrijthof which means that you can eat and drink a stone's throw from your room. Although the hotel has no restaurant itself, the proximity to so many restaurants makes it a more exciting choice. We noticed that almost every restaurant on the Vrijthof serves a very good breakfast too! Although it was so spacious, we had no problems with noise.
The room was enormous compared to the postage stamp-sized room you are usually offered. The decor was chic and minimal. The bathroom was spacious and the full-sized toiletries available were so much better than the tiny bottles one is usually offered. We had a full-sized and fully equipped (Miele) kitchen in our living area which also offered a Nespresso machine plus kettle. Needless to mention, it is spotlessly clean. The staff are warm and hospitable. In short it is the best place I have stayed in Maastricht and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Perfect location

Our second stay here was as good as our first. Centrally located in one of my favorite towns, Urban Residences provides excellent comfort, cleanliness, quality and convenience. Staff is very accommodating and efficient.
Notes: parking is expensive €25/35 per night; wifi weak.

Ultra modern Urban Residences

Ultra modern apartment with every possible need catered for. Even included a mixing bowl and electric mixer, dishwasher, fans and fan heater and a modern coffee pod machine. Spotlessly clean and in a great location. The only drawback is that because it is a listed building there are no lifts and the stairs are not the easiest to climb. We had a two storey apartment so getting up to bed was a problem for someone of my age. If you are young and fit you would be unlikely to find anything better.

My wife and I were visiting Maastricht on two occasions during January 2016 stayed in an apartment at Urban Residences Maastricht on both occasions. The apartments are beautifully appointed with modern hi-spec fittings without loosing the charm and character of the original building. The staff were friendly, efficient, a great source of local knowledge and went out of their way to assist guests. The apartments are ideally situated within a 5 min walk of the Vrijthof and Markt squares and the many excellent restaurants surrounding them, and are within easy walk of the major museums, etc.

Incorrect room allocation but 5star rating

We booked a room for 3 but only got a room for 2, but this did not dilute our experience. The room was imaculate and perfect for our situation of English mother and father visiting student son for graduation. I think it is the best accomodation I have ever experienced, so well done on this.

My girlfriend and I had a beautiful weekend in Maastricht and the Urban Residence was a big part of our positive experience. The location is perfect (literally 20 meters from the central square).

The staff was very helpful and the rooms are self-contained apartments that are incredible spacious.

If I am ever back in Maastricht I will stay at the Urban Residence.

This apartment/ hotel could not be better positioned for central Maastricht. The apartment has an ultra modern minimalist style with top of the range appliances and very spacious. Living area seating could be too low for some! Restaurants are in abundance and only a stones throw from the front entrance. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Thoroughly recommend. Look forward to a return stay.

Welcome and instructions were fine.
Spacious, well-equipped apartment, but impersonal (all white everywhere and no real decor). Relatively clean.
Location: great location. Close to the center, the main square, tourist attractions, cafes, and restaurants.
The only negative point: the apartment we stayed in overlooks an inner courtyard and is not well soundproofed. Until midnight, we were disturbed by people returning to their accommodation. I was woken up several times.

Appart spacieux, bien équipé juste impersonnel (tout blanc partout et aucune déco réelle). Relativement propre.
Situation : super bien situé. Proche du centre, de la grande place, des endroits touristiques, cafés, restaurants.
Seul point négatif : l’appart que nous avons occupé donne sur une cour intérieure et n’st pas bien insonorisée. Jusque minuit, dérangé par des personnes rentrant certainement à leur logement. J’ai été réveillé plusieurs fois.

Tolle Unterkunft mit kleinen Abstrichen ( Duschtür klemmt, abgewohnte Sitzecke ), zentral gelegen, deutschsprachig, Parkplatz am Haus, im Penthouse war alles da, Bügelbrett, Waschmaschine, Wäschetrockner, Bügeleisen, Geschirrspüler, Herd, also voll ausgestattet und auf der Dachterrasse (mit Sonnenschirm und Sitzgruppe und Liegen) kann man gut sitzen. Perfekt!

Eigenlijk de beste locatie voor een verblijf in Maastricht gezien de locatie, parkeeropties, ruime appartement en voorzieningen etc. Maar……inmiddels wel echt aan een renovatie toe. Badkamer stinkt bovendien naar riool en de schoonmaak moet echt beter. Zichtbare delen zijn schoon, maar bij het openen van de slaapbank komt de rotzooi van de vorige toeristen je tegemoet. Dus beter schoonmaken en (beetje) renoveren en dan komen we weer terug.

Das Apartment ist groß, über 2 Etagen, aber sehr in die Jahre gekommen! Der Schlafraum ist gefühlt im Keller sehr niedrige Decken! Das Fenster ist nicht zu öffnen und wenn man den Vorhang nicht zu macht , schauen die Nachbarn uns beim schlafen zu! Das Antennenkabel ist defekt und erzeugt ein gestörtes Bild! Abb17:00 ist niemand da der helfen könnte! Das Apartment würde ich nicht mehr buchen! Schade ust auch, dass man nicht mal 24 Stunden zur Verfügung hat! Was wirklich gut ist, die Lage!!!
