The location is excellent. Overall the hotel staff is kind, while the service may not be in a timely or safe manner. Taking an example, the hotel ask their guest to keep the room key at the hotel,while there is typically no staff taking care of it so that you either have to wait for quite some time or leave your room key on their desk with no one paying attention to it and anyone dropping by seems to be able to get your key if they indeed like to. During the stay, there are several times when I get back the key is still on the desk and not stored by the staff. Cleanness also has a lot to be improved. Taking new towel as an example, I was scared by a bug ( most likely a centipede) when I was using the towel. For a newly replaced new towel, it supposed to be clean and this situation is not acceptable. You either choose other hotel or investigate every new towel carefully to avoid this kind of situation.

The hotel is close to the city centre and just a 15 min walk from the railway station, there is a cocktail bar and cafe on the ground floor and other restaurants are only a short walk away. The hotel has no lift but it is an older building so it is to be expected. The room was spacious and had an ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was basic but buffet style so you can have as much as you want, I will stay here again

Although advertised with parking, this has to be pre-booked and was full when we arrived. There is a public car park nearby which was 16€.

Couldn't get shower to work, complained and was told manager would check it. Was told he had but still Couldn't get it to work. Found a cleaner who made it work, just a switch which was very stiff but manager hsd clearly NOT checked it.

The hotel location is excellent to go everywhere by walking. The hotel staffs are nice, especially, when I could not find a taxi due to the special marathon race in town, one of the staffs kindly took me to the train station by car. The room is small, but it’s ok for price. I recommend this place if you are looking for the best location and nice staff:)

A nice hotel with some drawbacks
The hotel is in an excellent location right in the heart of Maastricht. Hotel Beez is also a bar so I was worried that I would be kept up by music etc. Fortunately, however, my room was on the other side of the building, which meant I could barely hear the noise. There was some confusion about whether I was booked in but, except from that, the staff were friendly enough. The room that I was given was neat and quirky. The biggest drawback about the hotel is that it is necessary (at least with certain rooms) to share a toilet and shower with other guests. But, if you are happy to do that, then I would recommend this hotel as a pleasant stay.

Perfect location for all you want to experience
Four of us recently returned from Maastricht, having stayed at Hotel Beez. Since we were gone all day exploring the city, we found the rooms quite sufficient and the price was right. A wonderful Dutch breakfast and barista service is included with the cost of the room. The manager and staff were very accommodating, pleasant, and helpful. If you want a real treat, look for Esther who was a gem of a hostess—fun to talk to, very nice, super friendly, and always sent us on our day with a smile! Whatever you need, she’ll treat you right!

When we booked this place I didn't realise how centrally located it was - it is a small hotel, there's a kinda 'family feel' to it - it is not a luxury hotel but what it lacks from luxury it more than makes up in friendliness and the feel of 'home away from home'. My daughter & I really loved it, the room was bright and well arranged, the breakfast was brill, the staff really friendly and helpful, we felt welcome & cared for :-)

A Place to Stay In Maastricht
A very friendly establishment in the heart of Maastricht. If you depend so much on a lift with your baggages this is not the place for you. But if you want a place to stay and spend a day or two in Maastricht I recommend this place. Cozy room and very close to the plaza. All bus lines go by this hotel so wherever you are you can get here from any bus lines. The stop is just a few steps from the hotel.
Enjoy the local market produce in front of the hotel on weekends. Just a walking distance to Andre Rieu's 2017 Summer Concert.

I'll keep to the main points, area its in is nice and central, shared bathrooms are not a major issue but nothing amazing, room is small but cozy. Staff is friendly and all speak English to an extent. I had a fire alarm go off at 4am but besides that if you don't mind the shared bathrooms I would recommend as for the price in maastricht it's hard to find anything much better.

The Beez is Maastricht's oldest hotel. It has new owners and it is being modernised beautifully. Great location but I was a little too tall for my room. But I was in the rafters. The other rooms are normal height. The staff are so kind and helpful and fun.

The room was fine. Nothing too fancy. The beds were two twins pushed together, and they would slide apart at times. It could use an update. No elevators, so you might want to pack light. The lounge is very busy at night (which I thought was cool), but if you need sleep it might be a nuisance.

A very well-run and comfortable hotel right in the middle of the centrum of Maastricht. There is a restaurant/bar downstairs that I didn't try, so I can't comment. The room was small, but comfortable, with a nice array of television channels. The bed was comfortable and the service was excellent.

We stayed at the Beez in the end of August 2015. Overall the staff were really lovely and we could see that they were trying. There were four of us traveling on a budget so we chose the Beez because they were one of the few hotels that had a single room that 4 could share. Their prices were also very reasonable. Unfortunately on our first night the temperature outside was about 30 centigrade and the room was even hotter (no air conditioning). On our second night they provided us with several fans and that helped. The beds and facilities however are very basic and not super comfortable...I think some better mattress pads would help as I could feel the springs in my bed.
In summary, it is a great place for a group on a budget but don't expect to be comfortable. The staff however are very helpful and the location is fantastic.

Het is duidelijk een gedateerd hotel maar ondanks dat was het prijs/kwaliteit ok. De locatie was prima. Het personeel en vooral Leroy was heel attent en behulpzaam. De geluidsoverlast zijn we voor gewaarschuwd en die was duidelijk aanwezig. Wij hebben ondanks dat toch redelijk kunnen slapen.
Bed was voor ons iets te zacht, de douche was ok en het toilet niet op onze kamer dat wisten we. Beetje laat gereserveerd en druk natuurlijk met kerst. Het ontbijt was goed, heerlijke koffie en genoeg variatie.

Personeel meer dan prima.! Kamers oud en echt aan opknappen toe. Ventilator stuk en op de andere kamer gammel met veel rammel lawaai. Vloeren kraken zo dat je de buren hoort lopen door gekraak. Bed lijkt uit de jaren 60 vorige eeuw. Voor 1 nachtje kon het net aan maar zeker niet nog een nacht.!!
