Easy to get to, clean and friendly

Bellpark hostel was friendly and clean. The common rooms is large and you can get to know other travelers or grab a table for yourself. Food in Switzerland can be expensive but Bellpark is right across from a discount supermarket. It was great to have access to a full kitchen to cook a meal (even if the stove is a little old).
Bellpark was really easy to get to. From the main train station, I took the #1 bus, which runs about every 10 minutes.
Bellpark has free luggage lockers so you can leave your bag after checking out. I was on a week-long course in Kriens and Bellpark hostel was the perfect place to stay.

This hostel is very close to the bus stop, the kitchen is very convenient to use. Across the street there is a supermarket. The hostel has a place to leave luggage. Also they offer breakfast but since there is a kitchen and a store close by I find it cheaper to use the facilities they offer The staff is very friendly

Scammed and Too Dangerous to Stay at

The room Hotels.com claimed we were being rented wasn't what we got; that one cost [redacted] more (which we paid). The wifi didn't work. The room had no fridge (different than what Hotels claimed). When we found BLOOD ON THE BLANKET, we left. I wish the Health Department would shut this place down. I wish Hotels.com was able to check who wrote reviews, obviously this wasn't 8.0!! I wish I had my money back.

Our room was located on a very busy street, so if you are a light sleeper, you will have issues. You hear cars and people shouting in the middle of the night.

The room is very old and stuffy so windows need to be opened to be ventilated. The room is big but it's in bad shape. The hallways and shower facility is so compact and no ventilation. Lack of lightening everywhere. There are better areas to stay than this hostel. One of the worst in Luzern sadly

Get what you paid, so I am fine with its facilities provided.
Pro: it has a kitchen where you can cook.

Decent stay, decent room. A bit loud at night and can definitely hear others on the property but you get what you pay for I guess. Wifi was not the greatest but it was conveniently located near a bus stop which was appreciated. The staff member that checked us in was not super friendly or nice but maybe she was having a bad day. A bit over priced but location was good so I guess it balances out :)

Nice for price. Free bus tickets maybe it is for all tourist staying Lucerne. Asked for Non smoking room but put us smoke smelly room. Sharing restroom and shower need to be cleaned regular basis. But okay to use. Quite place and good to have supermarket nearby

Where is my fried rice?

My friends and I stayed in a 4 bedroom hostel, it was spacious and the lockers were a good size. They included a free transportation card in our stay and the staff were helpful and very friendly. The only downside was that the mattresses were hard and bunk beds creaked. Oh and my friend was really looking forward to the fried rice for breakfast, but they only serve it if they get a lot of Asian tourists.

Room was cold and also the radiator.Internet very bad.Breakfast extremely poor just a sandwitch and an apple. Parking is near hostel and there are aprox 5 places. Staff was kindly. Walls are very thin and you can hear all noises from other rooms. Bed was squeaking and not confortable.

Okay place to stay in Lucern

Not the cleanest hostel but the staff were friendly and helpful and the location is close to a bus stop. The worst part is the strict time frame at reception which creates a long wait for some guests.

Free bus and savings at hostel

This hostel is on the low end of the hostels in terms of amenities. The price is right but expect very small rooms and a kitchen that is only “open” in the evenings. The free coffee and tea was much appreciated. Breakfast is fried rice. There is a fridge and we put eggs and yogurt inside for our own breakfast and even cooked some sausage. Shower drain had hair in it, but otherwise clean. Shower is a bit variable in terms of hot and cold. Be prepared to climb stairs. It was a surprise that the bus is free and it is easy to use #1 bus to the station for ferry or trains. When you arrive, just get on and don’t worry about tickets.

2 day stay in Lucern

On the plus side, this had parking, wifi, free bus tickets into the city and breakfast. On arrival we were incorrectly told there were no restaurants nearby, showers were not clean, TV did not work, but the real issue was the breakfast was only one thing - fried rice! This presumbly catered to the clients, as we were the only non asian people in the place.

Det var simpelthen så ulækkert, køleskabet og fryseren var nærmest levende, komfuret var SORT og klamt. Håndklæderne lygtede af mug.
Vi endte med at flytte til et andet hotel, selvom at vi havde betalt for de 4 dage vi skulle have boet der. Vi fik dog lidt under det halve retur, mere ville de ikke give retur, selvom vi kun var der et par timer.

Dieses Hostel hat allgemein eindeutig eine Renovation nötig!
Die Gemeinschaftstoilette war sehr dreckig und man sah, dass wenn, dann nur sehr oberflächlich gereinigt wird.
Die Matratzen waren total durch und die \"saubere\" Bettwäsche hatte Flecken und roch schrecklich nach alt. Auch im Zimmer wurde offensichtlich nur der Boden und das Abwaschbecken gereinigt. Überall Flecken an den Wänden, an den Möbeln. Schrecklich. Nie wieder!

Sehr freundliches Personal • sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis: saubere, einfache Zimmer teils mit Balkon, Bad mit Kosmetikartikeln, kostenloses W-LAN, inkl. kleinem Frühstück (leider nicht mehr koreanisch wie zuvor – dafür gibt es jetzt interessante, hausgemachte Sandwiches), toller Aufenthaltsraum mit TV, PC und Unterhaltung, ausreichend Parkplätze • bei Bedarf kostenlose Busfahrkarten • für den Abend gibt es kaltes Wasser, Bier und Chips an der Rezeption zu akzeptablen Preisen

Wir haben ein Zimmer mit 2 Betten und Bad gebucht welches wir auch bekommen haben. Zimmer roch sehr muffig, schwarzschimmel am Fenster und an der Decke vom Badezimmer, Matratzen waren durchgelegen. Wer nur eine Nacht bleibt für den heißt es Augen zu und durch. Wer länger bleiben möchte dem rate ich von diesem Hostel ab.

Personale amichevole. Pulito. Incluso biglietto per gli autobus urbani di Lucerna. Camera doppia un po scomoda causa soffitto spiovente. Colazione inclusa ma bizzarra e un po scarsa (piatto di riso).
