Property was clean upon arrival & spacious, but they do not provide bath towel and didn’t disclose that, however you can purchase them there (2 towels for 8€). Another thing that I didn’t like is that they give you a curfew .. you can not entire with your vehicle past 11pm. If your vehicle not inside premises you have to park outside & walk to the cottage which in my case was a bit far from entry. It would have be helpful to have disclose this information on website prior to booking. I rate the staff a 4 out of 10. The manager was quite rude & didn’t help at all. On the other hand the other worker was sweet & tried to guide us best possible. Another thing that listed on the website is that they help you book activities which they do not. But other than that the property is well maintained & safe especially for a family .. ..

Was supposed to stay for 3 nights. I moved to another hotel after the first night. Arrived in the property and it was literally cooking inside. No A/C (I should have double checked the amenities). You’ll literally have to wait for sunset to cool of the property by opening all the windows (so many bugs going in by the way). By then it will already be 11 at night. Worst, no towels! Again, maybe I didn’t double check the amenities. But this is a basic need that should have been provided. Overall, place is nice but the important elements of comfort are missing.

Overall a very nice property to stay at. Clean, modern and well maintained. A few points of consideration however: 1) when booking through expedia, there is no mention of a deposit to be taken on the day. We were quite surprised to have to pay a deposit of €100 for each person staying. We were also quite surprised that we had to make our own bedding, as bed sheets and pillow cases were left on the bed for us to do. Transport links to the property are also quite difficult. Although there is a direct train to halfweg station, it is still a 20-25 minute walk to the property. The property was fully equipped with kitchen and utensils however some small tea or coffee sachets would have been a nice touch as we had to source everything ourselves. No soap or towels included either. This doesnt take away from the fact that it is a really lovely place to stay but for the price that one pays, one would expect a little bit more. Also there is a quite rigorous cleaning process to ensure your deposit is returned to you. My advice is to definitely consider staying at the property, but be prepared i.e with transport, food & drink and hefty deposit depending on the number of people staying.

Everything was great. The room, the location, and the easy access to renting the bikes. Only downfall was receiving only 1 roll of toilet paper for 1 week for 4 people. As well as the walk from the hotel to the train station was about 20 minutes of a walk and in the night there’s no lights besides your phone lights.

During that time, the site made several excuses as to why not refunded, including a new computer system; none held up to scrutiny and we are sorely disappointed in our Europarcs experience.

No towels provided. Can’t rent towels after reception close at 5pm. No communication on no towel provided. Wash basin clogged. Fireplace not working. After complaining to reception, still nobody comes to fix it. Very bad holiday experience.

We walked daily to and from the train station, about 20 minutes. We had a really good meal at Sophia’s, and grabbed ice cream bars from Crazy Fries. Disappointed that we had to pay for towels, that was a high unexpected cost. Our place was great for four people.

The house was warm without air condition and the windows did not have mosquito nets despite being flooded with mosquitoes and other insects. The area around the house was not well maintained. There was sand on the balcony and outdoor furniture was messy and dirty. The whole stay was disappointing.

The property could use additional cleaning. Dusty room and spiders webs were typically on the floor and corners of the rooms. Curtains, walls had residue of dead insects swatted. No amenities like soap, towels, hand soap, shampoo, napkins. This is not typical even for Europe countries.

We loved having our own little place for three weeks while visiting family & site seeing!! It was clean & perfect for us! The whole Euro Parc was beautiful & well kept too. The Italian restaurant Sophia's was a great place to have dinner. Highly recommend this place to anyone. We are from Nevada, USA and definitely will be back!

The cottages are nice, spacious and well equipped, virtually all have waterfront views and parking outside. The staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities are good, with swimming pool and a small gym, alongside a small shop and \"crazy fries\" takeaway. It's 5 minutes drive to the nearest train station which is 2 stops to Amsterdam Central. Issues are we were arriving later, after reception closed at 5pm and the key access instructions email came very late (by 4pm UK time we still didn't have them), so this was stressful. The other big issue is location, unless you like plane spotting! It's on the final approach to Schiphol, so there are constant jets low overhead, wheels down - it stops around 10pm but is constant through the day which is really disruptive. It's a shame as without this it would have been perfect. Probably wouldn't stay again because of the noise, unfortunately.

This place is nice, but is quite far outside of Amsterdam and not much public transportation in the area. This place is more of a fancy campground than a hotel. You have to pay for toilet paper and towels, and are charged for bed linen as well. On Expedia it lists this place as having a pool and sauna, but that is only available for a fee.

One of our room was not clean at all when we entered the room there was blankets and cleaning material were on floor of entrance passage inside, we went at reception and it was closed and called to given number on door they said some one will call you for help you on that, I never got call during my 3 night stay, luckily we were 6 ppl between 2 properties (which can accommodate 8 ppl) so because of no blankets in one of the room we had to slplit like 2 in one property and 4 in another.. customer service is zero at all..

These appear to be privately owned vacation rentals that are managed by a unified rental group. We have stayed in two on our trip within the same park. They were vastly different in cleanliness, condition, and amenities. Cleanliness on the whole wasn't great, but our second place really made the first look like a palace. Condition was certainly lacking. Vinyl floor boards were swollen and warped. In our first place it was so bad that nails had been used to re-fasten it to the ground and we coming up resulting in sore feet when walking without shoes in those areas. Showers in both units were not cleaned properly and showed significant signs of wear. Our second place was in much worse condition. Almost every wall had a crack in it, there was visible mold on the curtains, and signs of water penetration in several walls. The shower doors didn't even close properly, nor did the sliding doors outside the shower and the bunk bed was missing the ladder (I had to lift my 7 year old into bed each night). All in all, the price was great for the amount of people we had staying there, but I'm not sure I would stay again given the poor state of everything.

Beautiful surroundings, the cabin was clean and comfortable with lots of cooking utensils. Pool was warm and clear and the restaurant was really good too. It's not a hotel and the reception is closed early so make sure you take supplies with you as the neatest shop is quite a long way away!

We chose this place as it was near to Amsterdam central and other attractions nearby. It has a pool, kids area and great onsite restaurant (Sophia's). It was only 55min from the Hook of Holland ferry. The park is set in great surroundings for walks/cycling and running. The apartment was V good and had all the things we needed. We cooked ourselves and ate out too. The view of the pond was good and we weren't overlooked. Highly recommend.

Good value option for visiting Amsterdam. However, I found our cabin a bit grubby (floor could have done with a wash, crockery a good clean). But excellently equipped. Just a warning, it is on the flight path so be prepared for a little noise if you’re hoping to sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening!!!!

There was no reason to go anywhere else.
After reading comments i brought towels and toilets with me and I'm glad i did as it wasn't provided. AC a bit tricky to work needs to be pressed and hold for 5sec then press to set temp. Took me some time to make it work. But all goid at the end hotel was best part of the whole trip.

It is a fabulous place for visits to Amsterdam but without having to stay in the busy centre. We drove to Halfweg train station and left the car there, parking was free.

The accommodation was very clean and tidy. However the garden was poorly maintained, the patio had weeds growing up through the paving and the 'grass' needed cutting. Loved the house with it's tiny toilet and enjoyed the facilities on the site.

We loved the property. The idea of having a tiny house in an area with lots of amenities was great for our family. We had everything that we needed. We did have some difficulty with the restaurant and dinner service. They closed before the posted hours, but we were able to get carry out. The only suggestion that we have for the resort is to have a shuttle service to central Amsterdam, or to the train station would be great. Having a car would have been a good idea for us. We thought the train station was closer than it was. Other than that, the property and unit were fantastic, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great stay!

The grounds are gorgeous and the pool and little playground was perfect for our 3.5 year old. The restaurant has lovely staff and nice to have a cold drink right next to the playground. But the food was pretty awful. The accommodation all have kitchens so we are at home after the first meal.

We either had to take a cabin of 6 or book another cabin to accommodate our family of 5 even thought there was the cabin was pretty big with ample space on the living room couch.

Wow. Just beautiful. I read reviews before we went here and actually got very worried as some were not very good but i can safely say this place is amazing. The parc is beautifully set in a stunning area. On arrival we were met by lovely staff. The accomadition was just perfect. We booked the basic 2 bed house And it suited our needs perfectly.sheets were provided towels were extra but we had our own. Yes there was a small ant problem. But thats nature.staff were helpfull and polite. The onsite resturant is amazing \"sophies\" is beautiful and relaxing and the food is amazing. We were looked after by peter in the resturant and he was very impressive, professional, funny and excellent at his job. We really didnt want to leave. All in all i would highly reccomend this place and hope to return some day. The walk to halfweg train station is 12-15 min but its a beautiful walk and then only a 10min train into amsterdam central. 5 stars all the way from this irish family . Well done spaarwould .

To take in consideration: Not to go unless you have a car... There are no that many groceries stores near by so you need to have a car or expend to much on delivery or uber. During winter time although the houses are heated the floors feel very cold. The internet is less than 1 MB and reception is bad so working from here is tricky.

We just stayed at EuroParcs Spaarnwoude for 20 days and can highly recommend. Comfortable accommodation, nice restaurant and snack bar, small onsite shop for essentials, bike hire, laundromat and very friendly staff. Just a 20min walk to the train station which connects to soo many destinations in Nederland.

Better than expected!
We stayed in a 4 bed house and it was clean and modern, with decent range of kitchen equipment. No oven, but it had a combi microwave, hob, fridge and dishwasher. The park was pretty quiet (apart from the low flying planes, but we were expecting those) and about a 20 minute walk to the station, then 10 minutes into Amsterdam. Only slight panic was checkin. We got there at 18.05 to find out reception had just closed (hotels.com said you could checkin until 19:00). As we had prepaid, they left the key in a locker, but we didn't get the message until a while later!

In der Unterkunft gab es zahlreiche Mängel: Schimmel im Bad, Riss in der Scheibe im Wohnzimmer, Wasser im Wohnraum, aufgequollener Boden, defektes Eisfach, Wasser das sich durch das geschlossene Fenster am Spülbecken gedrückt har, schmutziges Geschirr und insgesamt schlechter Service an der Rezeption.

Die Wohnung und die Anlage sind schön. Es gab sehr viele Regeln, die man beachten musste. Beim Check in hat man eine Checkliste bekommen, was man darf, was nicht und was man beim Check out alles erledigt haben muss. Alles ein bisschen für Massenabfertigung gemacht.

Trevligt område, bra lekmöjligheter för barn med studsmatta, pool, gungor m.m. Trevlig personal. Bra med parkering direkt vid stugan och bra kommunikation in till Amsterdam med pendeltåg. Standarden på rummen/stugan okej. Städningen drar dock ner betyget. Fläckar på väggarna, en del spindelnät, mögel i badrummet och viss disk som inte var ren.

An sich ist der Europarcs Sparnwoude ein schöner Ferienpark. Auch das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Restaurant \"Sophia's\" ist sehr gut.
Leider hatten wir in der Unterkunft eine beschädigte Tür im Badezimmer und die Duschwanne war leider nicht richtig gereinigt. Zudem ist eine Leiste unter der Terrassentür abgefallen und das Reisebett war schwer aufzubauen. Vermutlich haben die Verbindungen geklemmt. So konnte ich das Bett auch bei Abreise leider nicht Zusammenklappen.
Wenn man diese Makel abstellt, kann ich den Park weiterempfehlen.

Der Check in und auch das Auschecken haben reibungslos funktioniert. Das Personal war sehr nett und schmutzige Bettbezüge sofort ausgetauscht. Leider haben die Vormieter einen sehr penetranten widerlichen Geruch hinterlassen der zum Glück bis zum nächsten Tag verflogen ist. Die Ecken und der Ausfluss könnten auch mal wieder gereinigt werden aber für den Preis haben wir das absolut in Kauf genommen. Insgesamt war die Unterkunft und das Inventar sauber und gepflegt.

Bei der Ankunft roch die Unterkunft muffig und wie ein Koffeeshop total zugekifft. Das Personal war bemüht diesen Geruch durch lüften und Erfrischungsspray ähnlich Febreze zu beseitigen. Leider kam aber danach der extreme Schimmelgruch im Schlafzimmer durch. Schimmel war an Wand, Boden und in den Vorhängen. Meine Frau schlief die letzte Nacht im Wohnzimmer auf der Couch um dem zu entgehen. Alle Kleidungsstücke rochen beim ausräumen zu Hause muffig/schimmelig. Ansonsten war die Anlage sehr schön und das Personal sehr nett. Man sollte aber bei empfindlichen Schlaf Ohrstöpsel mitnehmen, da die Anlage in der Einflugschneise von Flughafen Amsterdam Schiphol liegt,der sich in wenigen Kilometern Entfernung befindet und auch kein Nachtflugverbot hat.
