We had a fabulous stay at the charming Ca Marie Adele. From the moment we walked into the lobby, we were made to feel at home. While we waited to check in, we were offered a beverage of choice, refreshing towels, and snacks, while seated in a beautiful little lounge area. The staff showed us around our suite and took care to point out small details about the space that we may have otherwise overlooked. The area around the hotel is quiet and residential, but there were plenty of options for excellent food, coffee, and cocktails nearby. I couldn’t have been more impressed or pleased by the location. It’s one of the best features of this quaint hotel tucked away on a quiet canal in an otherwise bustling city. Only a short ferry ride from San Marco, Dorsoduro is a perfect neighborhood for immersing yourself in Venetian culture while escaping the crowds after a long day of sightseeing. If I ever get the opportunity to return to Venice, I would certainly book this hotel again.

Beautiful luxury hotel in a quieter neighborhood called Dorsoduro away from the crowds which is not easily achieved in Venice.

Walking distance to the main tourist attractions and plenty of nearby restaurants. We appreciated the friendly, helpful staff and the hotel aesthetic which blended classic regal opulence with whimsical elements.

From the airport, you can pay extra to reach their private dock by a water taxi (much faster) or take the water bus to the Zattare stop. It’s a short walk from there about 10 min. We’d definitely stay at the Ca Maria again if we return to Venice.

I did not have to deal with any issues at all. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. And the bed was very comfortable. The only thing was that the AC doesn’t cool the room well.

Awesome .. beautiful facility, great staff, just enough off the beaten track to be quiet in crazy busy venice .. and the apartment we rented was phenomenal allowing us to hide away for the last 4 days of a 2 week trip

Nice we got a washer dryer since we were almost out of clean clothes by the time we arrived .. funny no one could figure out how the dryer part worked

Our stay at Ca’ Maria in Venice was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. They arranged a private boat taxi from the train station that brought us directly to the hotel’s doorstep—an incredible and seamless way to start our time in Venice.

The hotel itself is stunning, full of charm and elegance. Breakfast exceeded all expectations—not only was the food delicious and plentiful, but the breakfast room was absolutely lovely. A perfect start to each day.

One of our favorite spots was the rooftop terrace, where we could unwind with a cocktail and take in the views—such a relaxing and beautiful setting. The staff also helped us arrange a boat to Murano, making our day trip effortless and enjoyable.

Every single staff member was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Their attention to detail and commitment to hospitality truly set Ca’ Maria apart. We would return in a heartbeat—no hesitation. This place is a gem!

My wife and I had a wonderful 3 night stay at Ca Maria Adele. From the moment we stepped in, we were treated like royalty. With the hot August weather and after a long morning of traveling, they welcomed us with refreshing drinks and cold towel.

Outside of the beautiful rooms/building, what truly separates this hotel apart from all of the others is the staff. The staff all went above and beyond, felt as if we were treated like royalty. Having stayed at some of the top hotels around the world, the service the employees provided was immaculate. 5 starts without a doubt. Just incredible!

While this hotel is a 10-15 minute walk to the busy touristy spots, this is something we actually enjoyed. We were able to feel relaxed in the quiet streets surrounding the hotel, but close enough to the action.

We cannot recommend this hotel enough! Can’t wait to come back.

There is so much to say about this enchanting Venice boutique hotel, off the beaten path of the tourist masses. From pre-arrival to when we departed, the level of focused service the staff here provides is exceptional.

One of the best decisions I made from pre-arrival was taking the staff up on arranging transportation from VCE directly to their hotel private doc via ground/water taxi. After an 8 hour flight it was nice to not worry about that and well worth the $. We booked the Terrace Suite which is on the 3rd/top floor- no elevator so if you have trouble with stairs be aware. Our room was wonderful and spacious, and I loved their bathroom amenities! We had the included breakfast on our terrace each morning which was so nice. All the small touches, fresh beverages in room, facial mist and rose petals, etc were so nice. We also took advantage of the complimentary taxi/tour in Murano @ Berengo Studio.

If I ever come back to Venice, I will stay here… anyone I know coming to Venice I will push to this absolute JEWEL of a place to call home while staying in Venice!

Fantastic boutique hotel outside tourist zone

Really excellent service in a beautiful boutique hotel with its own dock for water taxis. The location was a bit out of the way which has pros and cons. Far less busy than the main tourist islands but you need to walk further and take a ferry nearly everywhere. Despite the suite being huge and we'll appointed the bathroom is very small for more than one person, that's my only critique really of the whole place.

The perfect small Venice boutique hotel. A story: Shopping with my wife at a rather pricey shop with beautiful Italian dresses, the proprietress asked if we were staying at the Danielli. We said no, Ca Maria Adele — her eyes lit up. In addition to the hotel itself and its staff, the location is ideal: A one minute walk to the Salute station; therefore a few minutes to San Marco; much less traffic foot and otherwise.

A beautiful curated boutique hotel where only 12 rooms and growing. We booked the suite 336 and it was a lovely surprise. Compare to other rooms in Venice (even most suites) this suite “Barena” was a gem ! Barena in Italian means sandbar, this suite definitely offers that vibe if that’s your thing. On top of that, Suite 336 also has a private roof deck which has the views of both Grand Canal and Canal Giudecca but it still remains calm and peaceful, simply a dream.

Clean and quiet. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Location was tucked in a corner of venice but location to the water taxi was excellent. Breakfast was great also. The only negative I could give was that the heating and cooling in the room did not regulate the temperature very well. It was always too hot if the windows were not open (March). It resulted in me getting bit by mosquitos around 15 to 20 times during the stay. I could not imagine how it would be in the hotter months. Also if you are not fit enough to climb 2-3 flights of stairs this may not be the place for you. But overall, it is a nice place and if the climate control worked better, I would have no qualms.

I didn't give this a 5-star because I am very disappointed in my Fireplace Concept room which was located on the 1st floor with a low ceiling and RIGHT NEXT to the kitchen. It was busy and loud. All other concept rooms were located in a separate wing with dim lighting, a high ceiling, and a private terrace. The owner apologized for not informing us about the terrace only after I questioned where this special stairway with velvet ropes is leading to? Evidently, the stairway led to Nirvana where all of the other beautiful Concept rooms were. Our room had so many problems - cranking air conditioner, TV and Bluetooth speaker didn't work although they were fixed the next day. Yes, we pre-selected our room based on pictures and not knowing the location. The Cream color Fireplace Concept room should not even be listed at the same price range or as their special room. I do not recommend this room to anyone. This was a special trip for us and I am thoroughly disappointed after I had done so much research I should have stayed at St Regis where the brand will always deliver. Ca Maria Adele is a very pretty boutique hotel with great service, just our room is not a romantic experience and beware of the mosquitos from this room since it faces a canal (not the Grand Canal).

Not enough good things to say about this place. Perfect location, right across the canal from St. Marks square. The staff is unlike any you’ll experience. From walking in and being treated as royalty, so exceptional and responsive till you walk out the door. The breakfast service is as good as any restaurant you’ll find in Venice. Easily accessible by Ferry, which gives you a whole view of the canal since the hotel is located at the end by St. Marks. Hotel is only a few steps off of the ferry stop at Salute, so no fear of getting lost in the canals of Venice. Could not recommend this establishment more. My wife and I already wish we were back there!

A jewel in salute.

This hotel is central in Venice but has the advantage of feeling like you are a local in a residential area. The hotel is magnificent and staff are helpful and fun. The design and atmosphere are both elegant in design and up to date in technology. Feels like an updated Venetian palazzo.

The concierges were so helpful and provided expert assistance. The staff that we encountered were so very pleasant. The level of service is superb - hands down, our favorite stay... anywhere, ever! Small funky boutique hotel on the south side of the Canal Grande a minutes walk from a route 1 vaporetto stop and close to the Peggy Guggenheim collection - a welcome palate cleanser after too many Titans, Tintorettos and gilded saints. Comfortable and stylish room with a \"picture\" that is a webcam feed of the view of the canal below with opera-lite soundtrack. Enjoyed breakfast in bed - delicious and healthy. 'Staff are attentive without being intrusive. Lovely little terrace to enjoy a prosecco.

Amazing Experience at this Intimate Boutique Hotel

My boyfriend and I just got back from a trip around Italy, and out of all the hotels we stayed at, Ca Maria Adele was by far our favourite. It was our first time staying a boutique hotel, and after our stay here, it would be difficult to go back to regular hotels. We were so spoiled by the breakfast experience here, that the breakfast buffets at other hotels that followed suite did not impress. The breakfast room was so beautiful, and there was a nice lady who served us our food table side. The eggs were perfectly poached and the bacon super crisp. Mmmm. Our stay felt very intimate and our room was very clean and was very roomy. We were also greeted with a glass of champagne and Venetian biscuits upon our arrival. The staff were also super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend!

I won’t lie in saying this hotel is more or less perfect, the staff was polite and charming , even the hotel owners came and greeted us on arrival . The hotel it’s self is beautiful , clean and attention to detail is perfect in every way . The food was amazing too , Me and my partner felt like royalty.. I would 100% go back to this hotel..

Beautiful hidden gem

This was our first visit to Venice. We arrived at the Ca Maria Adele late in the evenings a quick check in and a couple of glasses of delicious prosecco. It is a small boutique hotel with excellent customer service. Loved everything about the stay here, the room, the staff and the breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel, we found it perfectly situated - a lovely 15 minute walk from the main sites.

Great location, with a fabulous decor in a modern Venetian style.
The staff were so welcoming, polite and helpful. Could not fault the hotel or the service. Would highly recommend a stay here. An oasis of calm and luxury to return to after long days on foot discovering the sites of this beautiful city.

That was really great experience. Everything and everyone were perfect. We stay at the small palace and it was like a private house in the center of Venice with terrace on the roof and breathtaking views

A beautiful hotel in a less crowded area of Venice with close access to everything. The staff was there for our every need, and treated us like family. We would highly recommend Ca Maria Adele & would definitely stay there again should the opportunity arise.

GO GO GO!!!

I can't rave about this wonderful find enough. In a perfect location. Right in the centre but not near the crowds. The rooms are fabulous and spotless. Not your normal cold hotel something really different and spot on!! The service is great all the staff without exception couldn't have been more helpful even down to giving out plasters as the one thing you need is comfee walking shoes which I didn't have!!! The breakfast is delicious on the terrace. my advice would be GO GO GO!!!

It's All in the Detail

This was our 2nd visit to Ca' Maria Adele so it felt like returning home. From the jar of orange hand fans on the desk to fresh fruit in the room, attention to detail is what makes the hotel extra special. Every member of the staff went out of the way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfast, included in the rate, was delicious and copious. All is a la carte so you don't have to serve yourself. We can't wait for our third visit.

charm is not enough.

the building is cut up and on multi levels. lots of stairs, many a bit dangerous. no elevator. no bar. breakfast room was small and hot from the sun pouring in. breakfast orders and given the night before and delivered on a trays to the breakfast room or a small outdoor terrace with inadaquate chairs and tables for eating. So no outdoor space, no bar, nowhere to relax. for this reason, overprices and lacking in common 4 star amenities. short on staff. absolutely no space for luggage.
