We had a 3 night break in Venice, and after looking at many hotels we settled on Charming House. We definitely made the right choice! Before we even arrived, Alice was super helpful and made sure we had everything we needed arranged, even double checking a couple of days before to make sure our airport transfer was confirmed in case they needed to help us arrange one.
We arrived a little before check in, and we were immediately shown to our room - again by Alice. She was absolutely wonderful and all the staff at the hotel looked after us really well. The location is fantastic, Dorsoduro is quiet and relaxed but not far from San Marco over the Accademia bridge, so you can see everything you want but get away from the crowds later. There's many local places to eat and drink around as well.
The room was spotlessly clean, modern and stylish but complemented the original features like the terrazzo floor and wooden beams in the ceiling above.
Breakfast was lovely, even with pre-ordering food we were offered to try more if we wanted, and constantly looked after. You won't leave breakfast hungry!
