The room was small. Couldn't put my suitcase open on the floor. So it went on the other twin bed. That was no probkem because I was by myself. My room was renovated and clean. Plenty parking ,easy to find and close to the airport

This hotel is advertised as the 'Airport Hotel' when it is 10 miles or more away from Schiphol Airport.
The staff were rude and very unhelpful. The hotel itself was very very basic with nothing close by which they failed to mention in their advert.
Absolute crap and would not recommend!!!!!

The hotel does not look like the pictures they show nor is it in Amsterdam. It was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen and I did not stay there. I was there 10 minutes in my room when I checked out and got a real hotel inside of Amsterdam I’m still fighting to get my money back. They were so gross bugs on the wall. There was no room to sit in the lobby because their family of Middle Eastern descent were everywhere in the hotel room, lounging the worst experiences ever with a hotel do not book it here. It’s in the middle of nowhere. Uber won’t even bring your food there and there’s no restaurant.

The room was not cleaned when they gave it to me. The sheets had hairs on it and the floor was not swept. The hotel has construction going on and banging begins early in the morning and did not stop by dark time. The fire alarms were tested without notice to guests. The restaurant is non existent. The airport is not nearby so why would they use hotel airport neighborhood.

The only good thing about this hotel is that it that the was clean. Any other thing including the location was zero.
I had to come down from the 4th floor to ground floor(using the elevator)each time i wanted a cup of tea plus i paid for it. No restaurants around and the hotel didnt have a restaurant, so i had to use an uber/or bolt to go eat Or place an order. At some point they had spaghetti so i bought at the reception.The Worse part of my stay was that the smoke Alarm kept going off at intervals waking me from my sleep on my 2nd day and on my 3rd night at approximately 06:30 am it was so annoying. Also transportation to the Airports and city centers wasnt smooth.

They were under construction and I could hear it all the time. The shower glass stall was only half, so water kept going everywhere. The WiFi kept going in and out. It was not strong at all. Hotel isn't near anything. The windows don't open all the way. The room didn't have a microwave or mini fridge. There was only 2 outlets in the room and one in the bathroom. Staff is nice though.

Clean, Casino at the side of property but not loud due to it being absolutely nowhere near anything.

It’s a 2 hour walk from airport, it’s a €25 for a uber to hotel.

If staying here get Ubers to Hoofddorp train station and get day tickets into the centre.

Wouldn’t suggest this as an ideal hotel for solo travels or young female travellers as there are men hanging around all hours.

It’s not terrible. If you’re looking for budget this is it. But know, you get what you pay for. Rooms were not the cleanest. There was no toilet paper roll holder so our options were the floor or a shelf up and behind the toilet. After 1 night they came in and cleaned all our towels and left 2 shower towels. This didn’t make sense because we had a hand towel up on the sink so there was no need to take it. Location.. it’s NOT near the airport. A solid 30 minute drive. 50 euro taxi or 30 euro uber. Ouch. Nothing is close even by bike.
The whole place just looks like an unfinished project. So again, not terrible and you get what you pay for.

The smoks goes back inside when people are smoking outside near the entrace of hotel which makes the hotel lounge smells unpleasantly.
. The body shower gel/ shampoo in bathroom was empty.
. There was a large cobweb hanging on the curtain above my bed. It felt like it was going to fall in my face whist i was lying in bed.
. Window ceal was dusty
. Toilet seat had dark marks underneath i only saw this when i was showering.
. TV wasnt working .
. No shuttle bus, just Uber.
. I felt the place is literally just bed

The guy who checked us in was very helpful the best service...but there was no shower wash so had to use the shampoo ...on to the person on the desk in the morning when we checked out ...he would get a 1 across the board not helpful at all ...ask him to help me book a bolt to which he says I don't no anything about it ...all I wouldn't was help with the language...I ended up sending a bolt somewhere else which cost me 20€ before I got one for another 16€....as he says he don't know the hotels address....

HOTELUX is surrounded by fields. It is very quiet at night.
By transit it is about 50 min from Schiphol airport. It's much less if you take a taxi to the Hoofddorp Sprinter Train Station.
Transit is quite frequent, but at least a 2.5km walk to the nearest bus or train. You can either walk to the bus or to the train that leaves Hoofddorp, but the train is even further. The walk to the bus is quite pleasant along some canals if you pick the right route.
For people travelling by car there is plenty of parking.
The restaurant is scheduled to be opened in October 2024.
Bring food with you until it is open.
There was an espresso machine near reception that charged 50 cents for a decent cup of espresso (or tea).
Room had unlimited Netflix for entertainment and other options. It was clean and comfortable.
Hotels around Amsterdam tend to be very expensive. This one was cheaper. Just be aware of the transportation challenge and then it's a good deal.

Arrived to check in and we were given the keys to a room that was already being used. The staff was really good and acted promply. The second room had a strange smell coming from the toilet so we closed the door and was not too bad.
The room was in a very poor state.
The walls had loads of stains that was unclear what type of stain it was. The toilet seat was cracked. The vent above the shower was missing, so it was just a hole in the ceiling.
Again loads of stains in the WC tiles.

We had a Lasagne which was only 6euros from their chiller in reception & they warm it up for you!

I got this room for the sole purpose of having a place to stay and sleep until my flight the next day. Added bonus that it was only about 10 minutes from the airport. After getting there, the staff greeted me and they were EXTREMELY nice. They were so incredibly positive that they brought me out of my bad mood. They even offered me a few different late check outs for a fee, which considering my flight wasn’t until 8pm, I gladly took and was able to check out the next day at 3pm. I didn’t mind paying and most other places don’t even give you the option. The room was simple, but it was very clean and I didn’t care how it looked, I needed it to relax and sleep. It was a bed, 2 nightstands, and a desk, with a working bathroom. The window was large and even opened a bit at the top which was nice for some fresh air. If you’re looking to travel and really just want a simple place to lay your head, this is for you. The only bad thing that happened during my experience was the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and woke me up in a complete panic. After a minute, it turned off and I was told there was nothing wrong. This sounds bad, but it was not the hotel’s fault at all. 2 idiots tried taking apart the smoke detector so they could smoke in their hotel room and were promptly kicked out. I don’t blame the hotel and they were quick to handle it and make sure everyone was safe. They apologized profusely and offered me multiple things the next day to make up for it. 10/10

Hotel states there is a shuttle to the airport - that is not the case. Train is £12 or a Uber is £45 to the airport and £80 to Amsterdam central from the hotel. Hotel in the middle of nowhere nothing around no food etc.
honestly I know hotels in the central are kind of pricy but the money you will spend.getting a train then Ubers it cost the same amount as a hotel in the central…

For example the nearest station is Hoofddorp (50 min walk from the hotel) 9 min by car !

So Uber to the station is €10 then €13 for a return train ticket then when you return you need another Uber £13 euro €46

That dose not cover trams or busses or other trains

Worst hotel for condition and location ever!

Firstly name of hotel is misleading, this hotel is NOT in Amsterdam! It is also not on any public transport route, it being at least a 25 minute walk from the nearest bus stop. I am a disabled person and was visiting Amsterdam for the first time with my 15 year old daughter which meant the only way to get to and from the nearest transport links ( for which I had purchased Amsterdam travel cards which could not be used to get to and from our hotel anyway as not in Amsterdam) or the airport was by Uber or Bolt which was approximately 23 euros per journey! Now coming to the Hotel itself, as we pulled up outside I realised straight away it was not going to be good, the outside was a terrible mess with completely overgrown paths, weeds, rubbish, graffiti and building supplies. The entrance was dark and uninviting and there was an unpleasant smell in the corridors. In the first few hours of being at hotel the fire alarm had sounded three times! Inside our room was filthy with electric sockets and lights hanging off the wall. The hotel pictures on the website lie they are not a true representation! We found another hotel on hotels.com and checked out the following morning despite having another two days on our booking, I would have moved hotels immediately but we had concert tickets for the night of our arrival so it was not possible however I didn’t sleep properly as I felt the hotel was not at all a safe environment for myself or my child!

I like how quiet the room was and the big screen tv. I didn't like that the water was just warm coming from shower, no hot shower. The beds and pillows were not very comfortable after a couple hours of laying on them. I needed an extension cord to use my outlet, but had no cord so couldn't use my fan for sleep.

This property is still renovating their interiors. The room itself is basic. Enough if you just want to sleep, shower then go about your travel. We got 2 hanger, towels and 2 pillows (1 each). And the pillows are half of what I think is normal size. Bed is comfortable. There's a place to hang your cloth but not to put your folded cloth. In toilet, you'll get small 2 bottles of shower gel shampoo, no toothpaste or anything else. Shower does not have like different step level or full screen separating it from rest of bathroom so your whole bathroom will be wet once you shower. If you are still at the hotel around 10am ish, you'll hear hammering. Never heard drilling though. At night, you can hear every other guests door opening, closing and distant chatting.
We got back from our touring and found new mirror, the next day, new dryer. Haha. Anyway, it's cheap at a time of tulip because they're probably not fully renovated yet, Idk, but the hotel is enough to stay in. Staffs are nice and helpful. Bolt is not gonna come at 4am even if you've booked it the night before, but they got us a big taxi to airport for €40.
Location wise, no public transport around, it is near keukenhof if you're driving. Otherwise, Bolt will cost you €55 ish to keukenhof. To Amsterdam Centraal is around €38 and to airport is ~ €15. Overall, average stay.

This hotel is basic, the rooms have very little storage, 4 hangers and 2 tiny bedside drawers. The bathroom again no storage, warning the bathroom floods when using the shower, so becareful not to put things on the floor. Pillows are very soft and small, as if they have used cushion inserts instead of pillows.
Hotel location is poor, it is 20 minutes walk to the nearest bus stop which runs once an hour, the next nearest one is around 30-40 minutes away. The best option is an Uber/Bolt for around €10. There is no food available at the hotel or in near walking distance, once there your options are limited to uber. Overall its ok for 1 night but if you are staying more nights id possibly pass.

If I could give the hotel no stars then I would. Stayed here with my boyfriend for his birthday trip and ended up booking another hotel that same night and leaving to stay there instead.
24/7 reception is a lie - we were stood outside for 20 minutes in the freezing cold at 9pm waiting for someone to let us in because they’d locked the entrance.
The rooms are awful! Peeling plaster, lifting floors & dodgy paintwork. We didn’t have a headboard or any pillows! Walls are like paper and the room next to us were having a party until 4am. Beds are rock hard and the TV cannot connect to the wifi nor does it have any channels.
‘Airport hotel’ means absolutely nothing. It is in the middle of nowhere, only accessible through driving with over an hours walk to any train/bus station.
This place is a scam! DO NOT STAY HERE!

The property is in the middle of nowhere and they should remove the Amsterdam airport they have with the hotel name, very deceitful, there is no transport except you have a car, the closest bustop is 35 mins walk away, taxi from the airport to the hotel is €35-€40. My advice is just book the more costly hotels in the city and avoid this one cause it’s cheap, you end up spending so much more on transportation and so much stress too.

Vi gillade hotellet väldigt mycket, kvaliteten är utmärkt för det här priset. Betyget på Google var lågt, men vi tog risken ändå och kom hit. De hade till och med städat vårt rum, bytt handdukar och lagt in nya schampon och duschgeléer. Sängarna är mycket bekväma och det finns TV på rummen. Det är ganska lätt att hitta parkering. Jag rekommenderar det verkligen.

Uns wurde das Hotelzimmer wegen eines angeblichen Feuers storniert. Uns reichte aber was wir bei Benutzung der Toilette und beim Gespräch mit der Rezeption sahen. Kaschemme ist noch zu gut für Hütte. Hotel.com sollte diese Bude nicht mehr listen.

++Big free parking space, ++beds are very comfortable,- rooms need some renovation or at least clean up of the renovation left overs. - - Shower next to an electrical outlet seems quite dangerous, price is good, people are very supportive

Du får hvad du betaler for, et rent sted, en god seng og et venligt, engelsk talende personale og med 20 minutters gang til nærmeste offentlige transport
De kunne dog ikke reparerer Wi-Fi'en på mit værelse under opholdet, så jeg kunne ikke se TV, da det var Wi-Fi baseret og jeg blev nød til at bruge dataen på min mobil.
Jeg blev tilbudt snacks som plaster på såret, men jeg var desværre for træt til at spise/drikke noget
