Friendly staff but room was freezing and WiFi was terrible. Literally did not work 80% of time and I was desperately trying to rebook flights due to massive cancellations. Was really disappointed.

Not worth the price. The mattress was hard, room had no decor, areas outside to the main lobby looked low budget and had stains on the hallway carpeting. They charge extra for everything (airport shuttle, borrowing an adapter, etc) The one good thing is the staff who were all professional and nice, even on a day with lots of unexpected guest due to weather cancelling flights.

The front desk staff was blasé and unwelcoming. The restaurant staff were rude. Everyone seemed fixated on strict policies and not at all on hospitality. There were used sheets on the floor in my room, and the beds were not configured as booked (1x double, 1x twin). The only person we met that knew how to do hospitality was the hostess at breakfast - she was wonderful.

Disappointing Stay – Poor Service

I recently stayed at the NH Hotel Amsterdam and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing.The team was generally not welcoming or accommodating, except for Liam from reception, who was polite and helpful.
Upon arrival, I requested to change my room from the ground floor to an upper floor, but the receptionist initially refused. When she finally agreed, the new room was very old and not up to standard. I asked again to be relocated, and she continued to refuse until I mentioned that I’m a frequent NH traveler and would file a complaint — only then did she provide a different room.
It was clear that many rooms were still available, but the staff were not supportive

Wonderful staff. So warm and helpful.
5 minutes walk from bus stop for Schipol and Haarlem. Very frequent shuttle bus to airport. Great breakfast, and 2 options for evening meal in the hotel - bar and restaurant.
Large room. En suite with both shower and bath.

Property was next to airport, but far from anything you want to do. The staff had no idea their hot tub wasn’t working, or that their restaurant was listed as closed online, or the sauna bench was broken. The staff also gaslit me about upgrading my room, with a “superior” room, which Inhad reserved and paid for in the first place. They only had decaf coffee in the room and when I requested regular coffee, they brought two regular tabs and three more decaf, so poor communication.

This hotel was located close to the Amsterdam airport which made it convenient. And despite it being close to the airport, it was quiet.

We are lunch at the hotel which was probably the worst I've had. Way over priced and low quality. I recommend you skip eating here.

The hotel was all right, just tired and beaten by thousands who passed through it over the decades. What was annoying was a glass, almost see-through, door to the bathroom which allowed my wife to see what I was doing there. Who was the genius who came up with this idea, who at NH Hotels approved it? Please, raise your hands.

It was convenient to the airport and train. The shuttle was small so wasn’t always available. The restaurant was slow but food was good. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms at the front of the hotel looked nice and clean and new but I think they send Expedia customers the older part of the hotel. Dust bunnies on the floor, ran out of toilet paper. Moisturizer empty. Ironing board and iron laying out on the floor in the hallway.

The staff and room at NH Hotel were awesome, from the Shuttle Driver to the kind bartender everybody was extremely helpful and kind. We were getting off a gnarly nine hour flight and it was nice to lay down in a super clean and quiet room. The bed was pretty stiff but the room itself was comfortable. The bathroom was perfect and soap and shampoo smelled really good.

If you’re considering staying here vs in the city I will say that while the shuttle from the airport to the hotel was insanely convenient and easy to use, the location of this hotel was a little disappointing in terms of getting around and finding food and whatnot. We were excited to go to the McDonald’s and Casino right outside, which were close, but the street is horrifying to walk along because of the aggressive traffic. I’m not mad at it because we were in town all day anyway, and the staff was super sweet. I just think next time we might stay closer to the city!

The hotel is perfect. The only reason for my low staff is frankly slightly unfair - we booked a hotel and asked for a rollaway bed - no one could find one and they delivered a plain mattress at midnight - no pillows, bedsheets etc. as the housekeeping team was gone. I have no issues, but they could have communicated that earlier. Otherwise, superb hotel, great facilities, very courteous and pleasant staff, definitely my go-to hotel at Schipol now.

I booked this place specifically cause it was the cheapest place in town that had a hot tub. The problem: the hot tub was COLD. And when I asked the staff about it they said: tough luck. And acted like they had no intention of ever fixing this. Aside from that it’s a nice little hotel close to a bus stop.

We arrived around 10:30 am after 10 hour flight and were told that our room, was available, but we would have to pay 40 Euro if we wanted to enter our room before 3 pm. We have never experienced this request in decades of travel, so we refused. We sat in the large lobby area, and when my wife laid her head down to rest, a hotel staff member shouted at her and said sleeping was not allowed. Extremely rude. Also the AC did not work, so we had to move to another room.

I was placed in a room who was apparently set up for a vip guest, 3 days before, macaroons and fruit was left in the room which by the time I got there was mouldy and nasty. I pointed that out to reception and got a free drink, fine. The hotel is dated, the bathroom was full of limescale and some grim around the tub.
The bed wasn’t comfy as probably dated, this is one of the worse NH I’ve stayed in.
