This hotel is around 40 mins from Amsterdam itself but dont let this put you off there are trams every 15 mins ( No25) that you can connect you trains to Amsterdam itself Rotterdam, Gouda and Utrecht there is also buses in the area on the whole a nice place to stay.

I like the simple booking process, however from the minute I walk through the door you can hear and see the chaos of the operation. A self check in system that doesn’t work, having to write down ethnicity as a first question shows their priorities. From being harassed by a man who appears to be management, but denies any responsibility.

For example the first stay I was harassed for parking my hybrid electric in an electric specific parking spot, by the manager. With an empty parking lot.. but the second stay he has special allowance for large trucks to park there because of their precious cargo, which I did not ask. He “manager” then goes to breach their privacy by telling me the room number they’re staying in.

Many items in my “suite” malfunctioning, leaking, stained. They really push to not clean your room, but offer a hand scribbled $10 rip off voucher in exchange. Complete corner cutting, unprofessional mess.

As a business owner, best western should consider pulling the licensing. Or risk lawsuits, further action to ensure this will be made.

Such a great hotel: they gave my daughter a lovely message and treats because it was her birthday. We didn’t expect that at all and are so grateful. We loved the adjoining rooms and underground parking too.

The restaurant was inundated with 2 bus loads of tourists who ignored hotel instructions and descended for breakfast at the same time. This overwhelmed staff and made it difficult for regular guests. We had to wait until the buses departed and the buffet was replenished to have breakfast.

The rooms were okay, clean and spacious. The restaurant was okay and staff too. The airconditioning did not cool the room well enough for sleeping to be comfortable. We reported this to the staff and they sent somebody but it did not help.

I arrived at 1:00 AM with my family, and the back door was locked. I called reception, but the staff member an Indian guy said he didn’t have the keys and couldn’t open it. We were left walking outside at night with our family , feeling unsafe, especially with people yelling nearby. When we finally entered, I noticed a woman leaving the hotel who had been chatting with the receptionist, which made me wonder if that was why he ignored our request. This situation was unprofessional and made us feel unsafe. I hope the hotel seriously improves its late-night guest service and security.

The location was off the beaten path but that was a plus for me. The hotel and room itself were fine. The staff was unprofessional and rude. Breakfast was not included and most of the time the breakfast area was flooded with bus loads of tourist and even though I paid 16 euros for breakfast I couldn’t reach the breakfast trays. One morning , the staff couldn’t even be bothered to put breakfast out. My room was rarely cleaned even if I put the sign out. And there was a weird smell coming from the shower/tub room. I had to buy air freshener to hide the smell. Also, I should have read the small print, my booking was non-refundable. So, even though I left a week early I couldn’t get my money back. So, overall one of the worst stays I’ve had in Amsterdam. I won’t be going back to a Best Western anytime soon.

Stayed at this hotel many times as its location is convenient. Staff are friendly, Restaurant is currently not operating other than for breakfast which suits me fine. Rooms are a good size with most things you need, they have irons and ironing boards if you ask.

Some pf the stagg extremely rude, 1 woman in particular who checked us out had a terroble attitide. The room was dusty, the maids entered at 930am both morning's despite having the do not disturb sign on.

They always offered fresh towels though and the lobby area was nice

The hotel is lovely with ample space in the room. We did not prepay for breakfast, but opted in as needed for 15 €. (There are no dining options near the hotel.) Downside is access to Amsterdam… there is public transport via bus and tram about 450 m away, but transit is slow. Will take about 45-60 min to visit main sights.

Hotel was clean and safe. However, it is in an odd area, it’s next to a couple car dealerships and it’s a bit tricky to find the nearest tram station. However, the nearest station is only a 5 minute walk and is easy to get to once you know the way.

A hidden gem

An absolute gem of a hotel, so pleased to have found it. It’s NOT in Amsterdam folks, not that it pretends to be, I’m just stressing that less people who are unfamiliar with the area get confused. This is definitely not a touristy area but, if like me, you have business in this part of the world, south of the city, you won’t find better than this hotel. Brand spanking new and ridiculously cool for what is essentially normal a fairly no frills chain hotel. Very comfortable beds. Quick, easily accessible WiFi; decent showers: perfect for business travelers. Only about 10 minutes Uber from Schipol too.

I didn’t have a very welcoming stay overall, me and partner stated for 3 days.
The day we had breakfast which was very expensive and not at all worth the money. After that we got breakfast else where.
Second day we had our room ‘,cleaned’ when we got back the room smelt disgusting and nothing was cleaned, the bed was just made.
I spoke to the reception to report this horrid smell, she sent house keeping up who told us they can’t do anything. Then I called reception again and asked if they could give us an air freshener she said yes and I never received it.
In the end I just had to keep the door open to the corridor to get rid of whatever this smell was!
They didn’t offer us a new room.
We had problems with hiring bikes, my seat kept turning 180 degrees, and when we told reception she said that’s all the have until a lovely man told her to give us a new bike.
We found the staff not to be at all helpful and actually quite rude.

The area that the hotel is in is a little out of the way from Amsterdam about 30 minutes and you will hit traffic because of the airport but if you don't mind then you will be staying in a great hotel

Nice place. No pickup or delivery to airport. Even after two bus stops it was over 1/2 mile from the bus drop off to the hotel. I had to pay city taxes as well. Had to leave a week and a day early due to electrical conversion problems. Orbitz didn't get a refund for the flight change or motel cancellation. I was very disappointed.

I did not like the power out in the room when you left the room. This made it impossible to keep items in the refrigerator cold and impossible to charge devices when not in the room. I also prefer windows that open. Finally, the location was not very convenient, although the bus stops nearby. I did like the hot water and comfortable bed. Staff seemed very nice although somewhat limited knowledge about the area.

Das Hotel an sich ist sehr empfehlenswert, aber es liegt in einem Industriegebiet, wo es gar keine gastronomischen Möglichkeiten gibt. Zum Glück gibt es sehr gute Tram-Verbindung zum Stadtzentrum Amsterdam.

Good for one night say.

The hotels is located in an industrial zone of the city. Few hundred meters walking to a tram stop which leads to Amsterdam South station where you can switch to trains and the Amsterdam metro system. It was not possible to switch off the shower after use, which is a bit annoying as the water keeps running and running. The shower tap was broken. (See pictures) Only the tech department can help you there. The check out is at noon, but the cleaning maid is already knocking the door at 11:30 telling you to hurry up. Never experienced something like that. Selected the hotel for the noon check out, so we could chill out, but then this maid comes around. Not okay at all, the maid also made rude remarks as we mentioned check out is at noon so don't bother us. The price is good compared to all hotels around Amstelveen.

L’hotel è in una posizione comoda per chi come noi aveva una macchina. Vicino, però c’è un tram che porta in centro. Al nostro arrivo, prima dell’orario previsto per il check-in, ci è stata detto che la camera non era ancora disponibile senza nemmeno chiederci se volevamo lasciare i nostri trolley. Per fortuna eravamo in macchina!
La camera al quarto piano molto spaziosa, pulita e silenziosa. Letto molto confortevole. Bagno spazioso con una grande doccia.

Førstehåndsindtryk var egentlig rigtig godt, men så oplevede vi skeletterne i skabet.
35 eur for 2 personer til morgenmad og dens udvalg gav ingen mening.
Parkeringspladser til elbil er 9,50/10 gange spæret af med stole/borde som ‘reservation’.
Hul i loftet, så der kom vand ind på værelse og gulv og efterladte vores ting våde…
Imponerende at jeg ikke blev kompenseret denne hændelse.
Flere sorte hår efterladt på sengetøj og gulv efter roomservice havde været forbi.
