The hotel is well located for easy transfer with the hotel shuttle bus to and from the terminal for an overnight stay.
Breakfast was a pleasant surprise in terms of the quality and range of items available and can satisfy even a vegan.
Staff were friendly and helpful in answering questions.

The breakfast was incredible. The room was comfortable. The shuttle was more expensive than originally posted and we arrived for the last shuttle just on time only to see we had missed it, thus adding Uber expenses to the cost. The hotel was lovely but the room was unclean in places but the most important parts like bed and shower were very clean.

The hotel is located a short distance from the airport. I would recommend taking the shuttle bus that runs from bus terminal every 30 minutes. I took a regular city bus, which was good, but it drops you off a few minutes away from the hotel and there is not a clear path to walk to the hotel and it was particularly dark at night. A return trip to the airport can be booked from reception for 6 euros.
Check in was ok, but the staff seemed a bit inexperienced.
The room itself was perfect for a quick overnight stay before my flight the next day. The bed was comfortable and the room was dark and quiet. I didn't any noises from other guests, so I slept well.

The room was worn with stains on the walls, bleach marks on the carpet and in need of some tlc.
Michael was helpful at check in.
We asked another staff member for a room that faced the airport so we could see planes taking off and were given a room facing the opposite direction - unfortunate but would expect staff to know their layout.

Bed was comfy and you’re next to the airport so you should expect it to be noisy.

Room - Junior suite/ we booked was very comfortable and clean. Apart from Microwave, not many extra amenities.
We booked accessible room, however the bathroom had no rails, and shower had a step which made it difficult for someone with mobility issues to access safely.
Front desk staff at check in was helpful.

The room was very spacious, very clean and over equipped (never seen microwave oven and kitchen in a triple bedroom). We could even say that's a bargain for a room like this. 100% value for money.
The only thing that we didn't really like is the shuttle bus to the airport which should be 24h for a hotel like that which is so close to the airport.

We arrived at the Amedia hotel for one night stay as I was having a small procedure at the local faceland. The location I couldnt fault it’s right by the airport and close to faceland so that’s why we chose amedia. However the hotel itself was completely disappointing! The curtains were soiled and hanging off the rails! The cabinet under the sink was broken with nails sticking out, and the most annoying part of my stay was that the tv didn’t work! It kept turning off after every 5 mins leaving me to turn it off and on again, after telling reception they told me it stays on after 30 mins of watching!? Sorry what kind of back to from sleep/wake timer is that!? Awful the only thing to do in a hotel room and we couldn’t even watch it. The coffee machine was a nice touch but they only leave you 2 milks 4 sugars and 4 coffee’s for 2 people? So not ideal. Stay here if you need a close location for a night stay I wouldn’t dream of staying longer.

Good for a one night lay over. Wasn’t a fan that I was informed that there was free airport transportation but when I got there it was just free to the hotel, for transportation back to airport it was $5. There weren’t any really places to eat and the options at the hotel were terrible (just pizza). The room wasn’t clean; the cups for coffee were used and had crust on them. Good to stay for one night and get to airport but if you want to explore Amsterdam; this is not a good hotel for that.

There are too many things wrong with this hotel. First it’s located in an industrial/office complex without pretty much any access to non-hotel restaurants and or grocery shopping. To access any restaurants or grocery shopping you would have to take a 20 minute shuttle back to the airport! And to add insult to the injury you have to pay 5 Euro per person!
Also, the front door revolving door is too small and not automatic which becomes a pain to deal with.
On the second night of stay when I found out that the mini fridge in my room was not working and asked for a replacement, I was told that the maintenance guy had left for the day and that there was nothing they could do for me!

Overall, this is a nice hotel. There has been an ongoing issue with the lifts with both out of commission for a short period iime and then one working, and finally both working. The staff were attentive but seemed a bit overworked and with only reception staff available in the evenings. The food was good but dining services is only limited to breakfasts.

The hotel room door didn’t lock from inside, the lock was there but the dead bolt latch wouldn’t get aligned with strike plate recess no matter how we tried. The hotel felt safe enough but still it made my family uncomfortable. Recommend to fix the lock.
Hotel offered transportation from and to the airport for a fee. Convenient but the bus driver takes a break in the exact hour that we needed to take it. Staff never informed of this particular break and we had to call Uber in a rush. Recommend to provide better communication.

We had a great stay! The family room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for everyone to relax in. The bed was cozy and supportive, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. The bathroom was modern and spotless, with an impressive shower that had great water pressure.

Parking was free and easy, and the location was convenient — not too far from Amsterdam, so getting into the city was simple. We didn’t try the on-site food, but there were plenty of options nearby and on Just Eat, so we were never short on choices. Overall, a very comfortable and stress-free stay.

We arrived on a late flight and checked in after midnight with no issues — the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and everything was clean and tidy. There was even a small kitchen, free parking, and the price was very reasonable. It’s a great place for a few days’ stay.

The only downsides were that it’s quite far from the city centre, and the lighting in the room at night was a bit dim. But overall, it offers great value for money, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

This was by far the worst stay. I arrived with my family to Amsterdam for a one night stopover. After travelling all day and night we arrived at the hotel. First off the hotel is not on the list of stops when you arrive at the airport to go to the hotel but it’s a stop. You have to pay for the shuttle. We went to sleep and around midnight the fire alarm goes off, and everyone evacuated. There was no communication from staff, no organized anything once outside. It was chaos. We waited an hour outside with no issues in sight, no firefighters came or medical personnel, when my husband went to go and see what was happening and if we could go back in there was no staff to be found. Another hour went by and we were finally able to return with no explanation. We thought maybe someone pulled the alarm. We went back to sleep then the alarm went off again at 5:00am but only half of the alarm was working, clearly evident that this was an electrical issue. We did not evacuate at this time.

We heard nothing from staff or the manager. There were no apologies or explanation or compensation for the inconvenient stay.

I will never stay here again based on the service and lack of information and communication we received.

It was +32°C when we arrived in Amsterdam. We checked in, and everything was great until we walked into our room. The room temperature was +28°C because the air conditioning in the two rooms I rented wasn’t working. I reported it to the front desk, but they were unable to fix the issue because the maintenance person had left at 1 PM. They also couldn’t change our rooms because the hotel was full. They provided me with a fan, which did not help the situation since it was extremely hot inside. We couldn’t get a good rest or sleep because of this issue, and there was no manager on duty to address the situation. Not to mention, one of the things I requested before completing the booking was air conditioning. This was a very bad experience for me and my family.

Absolutely the worst hotel I’ve stayed in and I’ve traveled with the military for years. Air conditioning didn’t work in our suite so they said we could check out another room. It wasn’t big enough for 4 people so they gave us the connecting room. The connecting rooms air also didn’t work. We paid for breakfast but couldn’t eat it as you had to wave a farms worth of flies off of anything to see what it was. Door handles were broken on the stairs. Front desk acted like you were bothering them during church service if you walked up to the desk. In a nutshell, worst stay of my life.

The hotel was amazing overall – comfortable stay, and great ambiance. However, it felt like they were trying to save on everything. There were no typical bathroom essentials like a disposable shower cap or any vanity kit with cotton pads or buds. Even the second set of towels was hidden in the wardrobe. There were signs everywhere about saving the environment, using different toilet paper, and conserving water, which is a nice touch – but for the price and standard, the room could have been equipped a bit better.

You get what you pay for. Run down and the water in the shower would alter between hot and cold. Skirting board in bathroom not properly fitted leaving waste pipes exposed. Bed was comfortable and receptionist very friendly and helpful. Nice touch with Nespresso in the room.

The front desk staff was great. They offered our room early to accommodate our arrival. They have no formal restaurant but offer pizza until 22:00. They offer beer, wine m, water, etc. which you can enjoy at tables provided in the lobby. Beds were comfortable and shower was terrific. Perfect for a layover. The inexpensive buffet breakfast is a great deal and was surprisingly fresh and delicious.
The hotel shuttle was great and cheap when we headed back to the airport. We couldn’t find the shuttle at the airport after waiting an hour because it was unclear that the hotel shares a shuttle with the nearby Radisson hotel. We took a taxi for 35€ the short distance.

Hotel claims they offer shuttle bus from the airport but when I called them ( 8.25 pm on a week day) was told the driver in on one hour break ! They could not produce invoice for my stay upon check in , was supposed to be ready in the morning when I was to check out - it was not . Shuttle bus from the hotel to the airport ( 6 am First one going to the airport was late :(

We booked online with Expedia and was easy. Hotel was near the airport, but it was so quiet we didn't even hear anything from the neighbors or parking lot. We didn't like where it was located in the center on industrial complex on one side and houses and water on the other. Was a 20 min walk to the small town for dinner.

If possible, STAY AWAY from this property; after adding all the extras, it would be possible to stay in a better property. They want to charge for everything. I requested breakfast for 1 day (I paid for it, for 8 guests), at the check out they wanted to charged me 125 euros more for breakfast for the 2nd day, I told them that we did not requested, so we did not the the 2 ladies in the front stated that I MUST Pay even though I did not requested because they did not have a way to prove that; that's so stupid, so I told them, \"Is everyone required to have and pay breakfast here even if the guest does not want to\"?, they 2 ladies confirmed \"YES\". I even mentioned that on the first day, only 1 guest went to the breakfast area, and since it was not good, the other guests did not go, which is true; the breakfast is expensive and of poor quality. Very bad experience, and seriously be adding all the extras, I ended up paying the same amount that I would have paid at the Hilton by the airport. The rooms were not that clean. The customer service experience was mixed, with some having a great attitude and others not that great. The lights in the rooms were broken, I requested a replacement, never arrived. I would never go back to this place, and would never recommend it for future trips.

Staff were so friendly and welcoming and made sure I felt comfortable on my stay, even when I accidentally shut myself out of the room shortly after checking in, silly me! They had umbrellas to rent fairly priced, well stocked vending machine, a good hotel room fridge too, well connected to the circle line bus route! I’ve no complaints!
