Although the room and property as a whole was good we will never stay at this location again. There weee police and ambulances surrounding a nearby Circle K across the street from the Chilis we chose to go to for dinner. There had been a stabbing and robbery and come to find out from some locals this is a common occurrence in this area. Did not feel safe and won’t stay there n this area again

The room was very nice. However, the amenities were not up to par. The indoor swimming pool was closed and the fire pit was also closed. Why have these amenities advertised if they aren't going to be in working compacity? That was definitely a disappointment. My son and I were having a little staycstion after attending the spectrum center and I chose this hotel for the amenities. I could have booked another hotel if I would have known thay weren't in service. Also 75 dollar incedential fee is absurd. Hopefully that pending transaction on my card will be void as the Lady Beverley at the front desk said I would not be charged, yet here it shows a charge on my card. Makes no sense. Definitely going to back to Marriot bonvoy hotels this hotel by hilton is not worth it

It was a Birthday vacation from Thursday to Monday morning and the hotel was a great idea! The overall rating would be a 4, only because the first night we were told that they had no extra blankets or quilt for our bed, which I stay cold constantly. Then on day 3 the microwave didn't heat up any of our leftovers or food in general and when speaking with someone, they said they would send someone to take a look, but no one every came. The room was pretty decent, besides the cigarette burn on the sofa (NO Smoking....hmmm). The staff were great and always greeted us each day with a smile.

Non smoking room, clearly NOT True...

Our room was supposed to be smoke free. It smelled of smoke upon entering, and an air purifier machine in the room was running throughout our stay.
Otherwise room was clean, staff friendly.
Breakfast was decent, multiple options. Kids liked the waffles, and we had plenty to get the day started.
Access to 77 was truly a plus!

We have stayed here numerous times. This is a good pet friendly hotel. The rooms are large and well laid out. The beds are comfortable. There is good property to walk my dog. I noticed the hotel room we were in this time, which was on the second floor ( we usually get something on the third floor) was a bit “tired. The sheets were not the quality we normally get and were stained. The dishwasher had a gross smell. The water pressure could have been better. So the quality for the price was not quite there.

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve had at a hotel. The place is old and outdated. They were shampooing carpets ave the floors were damp and wet. There were roaches. There was a gas smell in my room, but it was not taken seriously by staff once reported. I was moved to another room, but when I followed up the lady at the desk was rude and dismissive. She said we don’t have gas and that it has not been checked into yet hours after my report. Again the worst place I’ve EVER stayed at.

The facility was dirty, the carpets in hallway were stained, the \"non smoking\" room reeked of cigarettes, not handicap accessible as requested when booked, killed 3 bugs in the bathroom, breakfast was rubbery microwavable breakfast sandwiches and microwavable egg bowls. It was so terrible that we contacted expedia the following morning to change hotels. We would have walked right back out had it not been after midnight when we checked in!!!

Quick concert trip

My cousin and I took our teenage daughters to charlotte to see usher in concert. Our hotel room was exactly as advertised. Very clean, very spacious. The beds were AMAZINGGGG and so so comfy. Everywhere else in the hotel we saw was clean and in order. The staff were extremely nice every time we interacted. We were about 5 miles away from downtown so we just ubered to the concert and back. Definitely recommend and would book again

They were rude at checkout time while I was waiting on my Uber saying that they have guests so that I needed to move even though I had just been a guest and was waiting on my ride there was roaches in the room and for the amount of money I paid to stay there and then brand of the hotel I was highly disappointed I will not be staying there again and the manager who is the older black lady maybe in her mid 30s or 40s was terribly rude and unprofessional

It was very disappointing upon arrival that the pool was closed. There was nothing indicating that online when I booked it. We were traveling with a 3 and 5 year old that wanted to swim. I purposely didn't book at a hotel with no pool. Then our television didn't work. It was 4 hours before that got fixed. Then in the morning, 2 of us got showers, but the shower quit working before the 3d person could get one. The room otherwise was very spacious and comfortable.

Stains everywhere in room. Bugs appeared during the night in the kitchenette and bathroom. I killed 10+ in one bathroom trip. I was so grossed out I couldn’t sleep. The two receptionist were so nice. The quality and cleanliness of this hotel was very concerning. Would not stay here again.

great place to stay with a family

This was a last minute purchase, but it was an awesome location from where we needed to be in charlotte. stayed two nights. the room had a full size frig, real plates, dishwasher, two full beds and pull out couch which was perfect for our family of 5. breakfast was great. staff was great. the pool was closed, but they had grills right off the pool area.
the only complaint was the door was swollen so in order to close it you had to slam it which was loud.

front desk people nice and friendly, Dominique is GM, corporate owned and she does not double check rooms for cleanliness and lots of hairs on floor in bath and kitchen and they do not care nor will clean room after you tell them of problem. Also, cold water in shower, they do not care nor offer any discount or refund. Brown Recluse Spider in room, they switched rooms and again hairs on floor in corners and they do not double check or care. GM will not give refund nor discount, she argued with me and said I was showing same pics, same spots not cleaned properly. Would not give refund nor discount. they only argue with you if you complain. Goodbye Hilton Honors - tired of not being treated as a valued customer - hilton does not stand by their own policy to take care of you or give you a refund. Hotel and Corporate would not give refund. Hello Marriott, goodby Hilton - screw you, you do not care and do not take care of customers.

First room the air conditioner was leaking all over the rug. Second room the kitchen sink didn't drain and the garbage disposal didn't work. 3rd room none of the drawers would stay closed. The pool did not work out entire stay. The what should have been hot breakfast was cold. I chose this hotel because it had a kitchenette and an indoor pool. When we got there and I inquired about the pool, I was told it was closed indefinitely for maintenance. This ruined my trip because I really, really wanted to swim.

There was no trash can in the bathroom which is the most important place to have a trashcan.

The USB outlet near my bed was broken and completely unusable.

There was a lot of dirt in the corner of the bathroom by the shower.

Our keycards randomly didn't work one night so we had to go around the building in the rain to get them activated again.

The property is newer, by hotel standards, and the staff we interacted with was amazing. They were very courteous, patient, and helpful especially while dealing with multiple guests with complaints. In our specific experience:

- The mobile check in did not work even though the app clearly showed I was checked in. Thankfully we arrived earlier than expected and staff was still onsite to check us in.
- The digital key did not work but, again, thankfully the hotel staff was able to give us hard keys.
- The room door appears to be warped as you literally need to shoulder your way into the door. I wasn’t able to open it and my husband had to.
- We reserved the room for 4 people but there were only enough coffee and towels for 2-3ppl.
- Breakfast on the weekends, per the app, is open until 9:30am. We went downstairs at 9:10am and breakfast was already closed. According to staff it closes at 9am everyday, despite what the app clearly says.
- There was NO hot water at 9:15am. We waited thinking perhaps we needed to let the water warm up. After running the shower for 10-15min, the water was still ice cold.
- I tried to call the front desk to ask about the water but the in room phone didn’t work.
- We checked the water again around 10:30a and it was still ice cold.

Again, the staff was amazing and very apologetic for the issues. But given the room rate charged for one night I honestly could have and
should have stayed at any of the properties next

Didn’t get the room I booked

I came at 2:45pm to check in and was advise i couldn’t check in until 330-4 because the other guest had LATE checkouts. I came back at 4pm to find out i couldn’t even get the room I wanted because the guest there hadn’t left so she gave me another room at same price however, of course I wanted the room I paid for which had an accessible tub. I stayed the night and I went down the next morning to ask for a late check out the lady said they weren’t doing late check outs today. Talk about upset. It was already inconvenient that I came before checkout time which was 3pm and was told to come back but then not getting the room I wanted all the way down to not being accommodated for a late check out. Mind you the room was booked in January and was not available in February after confirming with staff the week before the date I came.

My room had no phone - even after I asked at check in for wake up call - no one told me) There was no chair for the table, lots of smudges and smears everywhere
Bathroom toilet paper holders were broken. Weird smell in the hallways, elevator did not move a few times - overall bad experience, but I do not complain while I am staying in a hotel, for fear of being mistreated, definitely was not a welcoming experience, I cleaned my room BEFORE I did anything else, counters, table tops, whole bathroom etc.. I did not use any appliances dishes or utensils- I had to ask for DO Not Disturb sign, no channel guide provided, the iron was missing - Terrible for the cost they charge for the rooms, I did not even acknowledge the \"FREE\" Breakfast - I will never stay here again

She did a nice job finding us a room, it is not her fault, but it is unsatisfactory that we were waiting for a long time with no rooms available and then placed in a smoking. Room.
