Conveniently located near the subway. Nearby my favourite Dongdaemun Design Plaza. UNIQLO, Daiso & convenient stores are nearby as well! Self Check in & Out is super easy. Apartment is generally clean & comfy, basic needs are met like hot/cold water dispenser at the common pantry. Will likely stay here again.

Small, Dirty, and Old. You can't really sleep well with the bed they have. If you can't stay at this place anymore because it is too dirty - you will have difficulty to get your refund as the manager is not helpful at all. There is no front desk staff if you help at night.

I was horrified at the condition of the room. It was so poorly maintained. The pillow sheets were yellow and dusty. The wall and bed frame had so many weird stains, there was even glitter on the wall and some green stain. The room was so tiny and dusty. Toilet seat was cracked. I tried to live there but i could not sleep the whole night! Immediately checked out the next day. (The staff was really helpful and friendly though)

The hotel was not too hard to find. The shower was above the sink, but this is the traditional Korean bath. Fill be listed but was 2 twin beds pushed together. No problem for me as I was alone. Bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept on. Great price for the area. I recommend.

Entrance was nice. Easy to get to via public transport from either airport. However the bathroom had a large amount of black mould which neither my partner nor myself appreciated. We tried to find other places to go to the bathroom nearby just so we wouldn’t have to use the provided bathroom. The room itself is much smaller than it seems in the photos. If you have a suitcase it pretty much takes up al of your floor space. Would not stay here again.

Nice budget staywithin Dongdaemun
My 2nd stay within 1 year, it was always a good experience to stay in dongdaemun area where you will be able to find nice food(chicken soup, kyochon chicken, pancake in gwangjang market and etc) and all are within walking distance ranging from 15-25mins. Plently of shopping malls(lotte fitting, 2 apm malls, doota and etc) especially till late night. You will be able to find tourist information counter within the shopping area to ease your pain in doing your iternary for visiting elsewhere and they will be able to help you plan(how to travel to the next site). Else, you can always check-out with the kind staff from this guesthouse to help you and they will definitely make your stay wonderful with comfort. Nearest Subway is link to many lines and it brings your travel convenience to the max. My next trip to korea which might be this year again, i will definitely choose this hotel as my top choice in seoul.

Not worth for money
there was a strong garbage smell when i got into the room even with the aircond on. the area is very dark at night and not feel safe when u back at late night. the receptionist guy wasn't friendly at all(the attitude was like take the key and go.). the room and the toilet are dirty for this price range. just not for the money. My overall experience is bad for staying this hotel.

The pictures give an idea that the guesthouse is newly renovated but is unkept and the bathroom had loads of black mold which did make me feel very unwell during my stay. Also the aircon was probably never cleaned from the inside due to the amount of dust and dirty air. Do not recommend this for the people with respiratory diseases like asthma. The staff however was cooperative and nice in general.

お部屋は狭くて清潔感も良いとは言えませんが、1人旅で早朝バスに乗るまでの利用にはまぁ良かったかなと思います。髪が落ちていたり、虫がいたりしたので潔癖症の人は辞めといたほうがいいです。地下鉄の出口や東大門の繁華街から少し歩くので、大きな荷物がある人は大変だと思います。空港バスの乗り場(東横インの前)までは5分ほどで行けました。

充電用コンセントが電気がきておらず使えなかった。ドライヤーなどのコンセントを外して充電した。シャワーの水圧が1日目だけよかったが２日目以降弱かった。シャワーヘッドが割れていてそこからも水が漏れて使いづらい。２日目以降は水漏れもしないぐらい水圧が弱かった。

立地は悪くなく、ナイトショッピングにも行きやすいホテルだと思います。ただ、清潔感はありません。一見キレイに見えますが、シャワールームにはカビ、排水口には髪の毛、ベッドにも髪の毛があり、しまいにはシーツにもシミがあり、きちんと取り替えてるのか疑わしくなりました。

東大門のアクセスのいいホテル
イメージとしてはビジネスホテルよりも少し汚いホテル。深夜まで開いているお店の多い東大門のエリアにあるので、夜遅くまで遊んでも帰りやすいのはよかった。初日のチェックイン時間に遅れてしまったがフロントに部屋の鍵を置いてもらえていて入ることができた。口コミにあった通り11時までに言わないと部屋の清掃がしてもらえないが、清掃は頼まずバスタオルの交換だけお願いした。

Hôtel choisi pour son prix et sa localisation. Effectivement hôtel peu cher, donc on ne s'attendait pas au grand luxe. Chambre très petite où il est difficile de ranger sa valise, fenêtre qui donne sur un mur, salle de bain peu fonctionnelle et sans intimité (porte vitré), télévision sans chaîne étrangère, personnel qui ne parle presque pas anglais. Par contre bonne literie et bon réseau WIFI.
L'hôtel est dans une petite ruelle un peu dur à trouver au départ, mais bien situé car très calme et à la fois tout proche du métro avec 3 lignes différentes, de restaurants et bars et du centre animé de Dongdaemun.

Great location, poor comfort
The Hotel location is short walking distance to Dongdaemun's shopping malls and Subway station. It was a bit difficult to find, hidden from the street and with so many hotels/ guesthouses started with the name K-pop - it was a pain looking for it.
There is no lift (elevator) so you'll have to carry your own luggage all the way to your room.
Room is small with very little floor space to walk on and there are several trip hazards on the floor - uneven floor surface, fridge placed in between bed and wall, entrance to bathroom. The bed is very high so there is however a space for tucking away luggages. But keep in mind the floor is heated at night so you can spoil your sensitive luggage content if left inside. The heating from the floor can be uncomfortably hot at night. So I actually had to open the window to bring in the winter cold to balance the temperature in the room.
I will only recommend this place to light traveler who's willing to trade comfort for low price.

周りも静かで快適に過ごすことができました。お値段を考えても十分広さもあります。ダブルベッドを一人で使いましたが、二人で寝られる場合はベッドの高さがかなりあるので、寝相の悪い方は注意が必要です。
従業員の方もとても親切に英語で対応くださいました。行きたいお店の場所を聞いた時もパソコンで調べてくださり対応してくれました。窓からソウルタワーが見えたので、感動しました。

東大門が近いので、深夜まで買い物、食事をしても時間を気にしなくて便利でした。部屋までは階段しかないため、荷物の上げ下げがやや大変でしたが、その他施設で困るようなことはありませんでした。この値段で、普通サイズのベッドですし、テレビ、トイレ、シャワーもあり、滞在には問題ないです。部屋もおんどるがあるので暖かくてよかったです。
