The elevator was dirty and had a horrible, shirilling noise when opening and closing.
Our room had black hair strands all over the blanket and under the blanket. The sink did not empty properly and had flakes of something gross.

Room was clean, it was convenient drive to my job, but my shower/sink consistently was cold. I stayed there about 6 days/nights and at least 4 of those I had cool water showers. I reported the issue to the front desk like on a Tuesday or Wednesday, got a call saying \" we made some adjustments \", issue resolved that same day, but the next day, same issues. I didn't bother reporting it again. I just dealt with a cool shower in the middle of winter in Holyoke MA. That was the only problem I had.

There were many good things about the stay however; our room was super close to the interstate and the traffic and trucks starting rolling by at 5:30 am. I searched for earplugs and it was not conducive to easy sleep. I would not stay again unless the room was far away from the highway. Be forewarned.

My issue this stay is the new way the EV chargers function. I don’t mind paying, but you can only pre-pay $20.00 (which includes a 2$ activation fee) so once you’ve reached that threshold it stops the charge. Luckily I woke up at 3 am and checked- I had to go outside to restart the charge (no app). Not cool when you expect to have enough charge to get to your destination in the am. Also not cool for a good night’s sleep. So just be aware. Hopefully changes can be made….

One of many great nights at the D hotel! I’ve been a long time customer of their hotel, spa and restaurant. Beds are always comfy, rooms clean, and the Staff is always exceptionally welcoming. I’ve had the same gentleman check is in multiple times and he’s an absolute gem, never had I felt that important and welcomed at any other hotel. We did not have time to do any spa activities this trip but they are also very talented professionals and we recommend to anyone staying at the hotel!

We booked a 2 night stay with a King bed. Great rate of $72. Room 515. The room was located just off the elevator. The room was clean upon arrival. The flooring appears to be luxury vinyl and had a slightly raised or wavy felling under foot. The room lacked any artwork with exception of a round mirror at the far end of the room. It made the room feel very bland, and dated. The room looked nothing like any of the photos I received from the hotel itself. Bedding was mediocre at best. The room location was situated close to Interstate I-91 so road noise was prevalent. Attempted to use the fan on the Heat/AC unit to drown out the noise, but the fan only runs when cooling or heating, so that was a slight disappointment. Breakfast in the morning was offered starting at 6:30 am and was no additional charge. Selections included scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, pancakes. Other options included oatmeal, toast, bagels, fresh fruit and yogurt. Coffee is available 24 hours. The gym opens at 8:00 am due to its location above and next to customer rooms. The facility was quite small but had the basics. After the first night I expected housekeeping to replace towels, but that did not happen. I had to go to the front desk and ask for extra towels and hand soap to be brought up. I would probably consider a different hotel if I were to return to this area, but for $72 I really can’t complain too much. If I paid $100+ per night I would probably be a bit more harsh on my review.

I called and asked for an additional 30 minute leeway and was told No…that happens to me about 5% of the time. They said ‘wait in the lobby’. The bed was fine. The couch and two chairs need to go. The two chairs have no padding. The couch is hard and noisy. The water in the hotel and room smells and taste awful. The dining room food was off the charts awesome. Great staff. Beer is expensive $6.50 a bottle and not that cold. The included breakfast, with the food in the restaurant being so great I would think the breakfast would be too. Nope, Motel 6 quality breakfast. Microwave sausage and instant eggs. Filled the void but not what we expected from this place. If we return we will seek another place to stay.

Two very nice stays at the D within a month and both earn high marks. Jim, at the front desk, checked us in on the two occasions and he was efficient and a treat to speak with. The person assigned to the breakfast bar was also great - helpful and friendly. Thanks to all.
