We had a fantastic experience at Fleming’s Hotel Main-Riverside. From day one, Kelly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable — she was incredibly accommodating and always ready to help with a smile. Her exceptional service really made a difference and left a lasting impression on us.

The hotel’s location is excellent — just about 10 minutes’ walk to the Old Town, making it easy to explore Frankfurt’s main attractions. We also loved walking along the river, which was a relaxing and scenic way to enjoy the area.

Overall, we highly recommend Fleming’s Hotel Main-Riverside for its friendly staff, convenient location, and great atmosphere. Thank you again to Kelly and the entire team for making our stay so memorable!

Nice short stay.

Clean room we had a large family room given to us we only Stay one night just to break up our journey back to london. Breakfast is ok. Had cooked breakfast for a change as fed up with continental all the time we were in other places we’ve been.

We love ending our trip every year at the Fleming, the hotel is conveniently located to many good restaurants and bars! They have ground parking right behind the hotel which makes it very easy for in and out travels. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, the only thing missing are refrigerators!

It’s not the hotel in the photos but it’s great value and run by a great team. Tram stop outside takes you to the central rail station and the exhibition.
Good value breakfast and bar. Didn’t eat in the evenings but food looked tempting enough.
Would be a top choice for next time I’m in Frankfurt.

Wonderful experience

From the time I stepped into the hotel I was treated very special. The receptionist couldn’t do enough for me. Made me feel special. Helped me with directions and recommendations on where to eat and how to get where I needed to go. Five star treatment.

Fantastic Stay

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The location is incredibly convenient—right in the heart of the city and just a 30-minute walk to Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, which made exploring the area super easy.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. What truly stood out, though, was the breakfast spread—absolutely amazing! A huge variety of fresh, delicious options that catered to every taste.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Frankfurt!

Rooms need help! Missing button on shower temperature, moldy grout in shower, water guard on bottom of shower door was broken and full of mold, room was 29C when we arrived-air conditioner was broken and needed to be fixed as there were no other rooms available. This took 1.5 hours at 7:00pm on the day of our arrival from Canada. The temperature still never went below 24.5C. Room was not cleaned well - bits of garbage from previous guests left on the floor. Sink was smelly and covered with something gross. Toilet area had urine splashes on flush button.
The sauna and steam showers in the fitness area are non functioning.

Bad idea for a relaxing break

Not the same hotel anymore. Since the changes it has gone from a very nice laid back comfortable hotel to a dreaded business hotel. Self check in desk the dominates the ground floor particularly annoying. Breakfast although a lot of choice is no longer no longer the standard it was epically the hot breakfast. Bar area with its high stools is just uncomfortable and clinical. Previously proper seating to relax in. Overall they have taken a perfectly good hotel and made it worse. I will not be returning!

A great place overall with a modern vibe and located near the old town. The shower in the middle of the room was a little odd (as there is no privacy when one is showering), but we didn't mind it since we're married. Overall, we had a lovely time and enjoyed our stay!

First, I want to start with my husband and I travel thru Europe often so we aren't \"stuck up Americans\". When I booked this hotel, this is no mention of the clear cage like shower stall that is in the middle of the room. There is no shade to pull down around the shower, so its literally like your showering in the middle of the room watching tv and.... nothing mentions that when you book. Also the bartenders was rude birth nights we were there. He looked at us, saw us waiting and just walked away. At one point we alar we asked for service snd made it clear he was again too busy. On the nothing we left at 4am...we had to walk out the back of the hotel. A worker held the door open while we struggled with our large luggage down the few stairs in complete darkness into the parking lot that had no lights. Not very safe. I would definitely not stay here again or recommend this hotel

Better than I expected, great staff, well located

had three nights last week for a trade event at Frankfurt Messe. Although an annual event, this is the first time I have stayed away from the local Messe / Commercial district, mostly due to rocketing pricing but also for a change of scenery. Some of the reviews on here where worrying about cleanliness, the standard of rooms, so I upgraded. Ultimately the room was very clean although a little jaded or old, but everything else, included service, room service, breakfast and bar aera was very good. I will use again for sure.

Terrible experience. Staff did not offer any assistance or explain where anything was on arrival, including where the access to gym or sauna was. They pointed at the self check in computer whilst seated and non communicative. Did not give a warm greeting. See through shower was terrible for friends staying with each other and I specified this on the booking i wanted to separate beds. The twin beds were practically pushed together. The room is poorly designed and is made for 2 people who are couples or have a really close relationship and there is no gap in between the bed. Very impractical. Shower room is opened as well as the sink. The sink basin is not in a separate room. The price of the room was not worth what we paid. Shocked and the sauna /steam room was not working - they needed an engineer to come which was booked to come after our arrival so did not get what we paid for. The bar staff were kind the reception staff were horrible and not accommodating or empathetic.

Neighbour felt unsafe at night, intoxicated people outside could hear shouting loud in streets from bedroom window. .Road works right outside hotel window, graffiti on the wall of the hotel. Disgusted

Everything is minimum 20 mins walk away from main attractions like shopping , zeil shopping centre, main frankfurt central station

Enjoyed our 2 night stay, though it didn't get off to best start. We arrived after check-in time & our room was not ready, was advised that it would be another hour. Wasn't impressed with that & after 10 mins they found a room.
Immediate area around hotel probably not the best and there are lots of roadworks. Though if you walk along the river it is a lot nicer. Tram right outside & u-bahn train station close walk.
The mattress was damaged, it had no support in it. The Housekeeping supervisor sorted it out very quickly & got the mattress changed over.
Strange shower set up, but I had read about that, so it wasn't a surprise but the shower was very good with great water pressure.
Breakfast was good with fresh to cook omlettes. Special shoutout to Jack the barista, he did a fabulous coffee. The best of our trip.
Easy to walk into Old Town along the river.

Comfortable but that’s about it. Was charged extra to check in 20 mins earlier than check in time. Very hard to get to as most of the roads have construction. Room was great. Would I visit again. Probably not.

Good location and rooms but customer svc a miss

The overall appearance of the rooms and lobby was modern and we found the location was excellent. Self checkin was accomplished at kiosks in the lobby, with assistance from very helpful staff. We had booked two rooms but only one was ready by checkin time. When our son got his room he discovered personal belongings of a prior guest in one of the drawers. Our own room was clean upon arrival but was never refreshed during our 2 night stay. Therefore I would have to say room cleanliness was disappointing.
I had already read about the shower placement in the middle of the room. This didn’t bother us. We were surprised, however, as there was no fridge or phone in the room or any way to contact service staff on the TV. We had to go downstairs to make any requests. Also there was no way to review a final bill before checkout. Perhaps that is common in Frankfurt hotels? It left us wishing there was a more personal customer service approach like we are used to.

We showed up at 1am and was able to check in easily. They also allowed us to check out late at reasonable rates. We left a horrible hotel nearby the Romer that was infested with cockroaches and no AC. This was under a 15m walk from everything and we were so happy with everything. We travelled from the UK and Portugal and this was one of the better accommodations at a fraction of the price. Staff service was excellent. Room was clean. Ac was great. Restaurant option as well. Easy check in and check out with flexibility.

Staff is very nice and they have terrific snacks and drinks for free throughout the day. Breakfast is excellent. The weird shower in the middle of the hotel room (there is a curtain in the rooms with 2 beds) just weirded me out. LOL Also, the carpet felt dirty- it should be cleaned with a scrubber. Everything else was great.

A fantastic Frankfurt find

This was an amazing hotel for several reasons (convenient location, parking availability, safety, affordability); however, it was amazing primarily due to the staff, who were uniformly efficient and engaging.
I want to specifically give an enthusiastic compliment to the hotel bar staff, especially Mahomed and also Adriana, who made our stay absolutely delightful. They were superb!
FYI there is one unusual aspect about the room design at this hotel—the showers are outside the bathroom.
