The room was amazing . Great view extremely clean. Staff was super friendly. My only issue was the pile of seaweed on the beach of the property is was sky high.My partner and I weren’t able to get in the water on the resort. Due to that issue. Otherwise, I would definitely be going back. I had a wonderful time there. If you don’t have a car make sure you have Lenny of taxi money. It’s about $8 or more per person. The good thing is the resort has drivers who can take you to your destinations.

First, let me begin with the staff- I want to give huge thank you’s to Micheal, Lennycia, Missy, Laenique and Cha-Niesha! Each of them were extraordinary in their service. The manager, Khadija went ABOVE AND BEYOND! She was amazing- informative and kind, with a quick smile and a genuine desire to ensure an excellent experience for all of her guests. Let me say again, the team was outstanding! There was only one person who was less than pleasant, Susan. She was not interested in helping, she did not smile and she did not make me feel welcomed. Fortunately, the positive disposition of those around her (the above mentioned team members) helped me to overlook her lack of enthusiasm and professionalism. Nonetheless, I would absolutely consider going back to this property.
The amenities are nice, the beach is lovely and the on property restaurant serves good food. The staff at the bar were NOT friendly, but the food was still good- especially the prawns and the ahi tuna and the shrimp tacos.
The room (dbl queen with balcony) was nice. My main complaint is that you can hear people in the neighboring rooms like they are in your own room. Also, lots of stairs and very hilly. This is probably true anywhere on the island, though. All in all it was a great stay- mostly due to Khadija and her team!

The rooms were very clean and accommodating. The only thing i recommend they get rid of are the Murphy beds. This is not a all inclusive resort however the food was great at the different restaurants on the resort.

Really enjoyed my stay close to ferry and all staff was so polite and gave great recommendations to dining and places to visit . Even though hurricane Erin made an appearance the staff was very assuring. I felt safe . All the staff at front desk was great wish I could remember all there names but I do remember Khadijah, I would definitely stay there again !!!!

The staff made everything easy from the start. Check-in and check-out were very quick and smooth. Everyone we interacted with was kind, welcoming, and always willing to help.

During our stay, the power went out due to the hurricane, but the hotel had a generator, so everything continued running without issue. That gave us a lot of peace of mind.

I also requested an extra blanket, and it was delivered to our room within minutes. That kind of attentive service really stood out.

Overall, the combination of efficient service, friendly staff, and reliable facilities made our stay very comfortable. And had a lot of places to go and eat very close. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone visiting St. Thomas.

Location is not bad, but is not wakable at surroundings area. A trolley to redhook could be a great option if available. The beach bistro Sangrias, if they open until at least 10 or 11pm can give guests a great alternative ro stay at rhe hotel instead of going out.

Amazing stay!! Loved it. We rented a car and beach hoped and the location was amazing. The car ferry is close too! St. John was awesome for a day too. The food onsite was delish and so was the food at red hook. We also bought groceries which was slick. We are already planning other visit back. Hot tub and pool were amazing too.

Front desk and all facilities close at 10:00 p.m. If you arrive late at night, there is nothing available. Room was dark and musty, lower level with murphy bed. When complained at Front Desk, was told the worst rooms were assigned to bookings made through Expedia, that if we wanted better rooms, to book directly.
While staff was pleasant, would not recommend this hotel.

Great Semi Private Beach and very clean resort!

Great location for peace and quiet. Wish there was at least some night life activities. Overall, resort was in pretty great shape on the beach. Definitely, will have to take a taxi to go outside the resort but only about 15-20 minute ride for $15 per couple.

It was a clean, safe environment. The woman that checked us in spoke very quickly and was. A bit hard to understand but was very nice. Our neighbors seemed to play some game late in the evening every night and were quite loud. Our room was an adjoining room so we seemed to here then very clearly which was not fun for us. But we just ignored it. The dining options were very nice down at Cowpet. The only thing we didn’t like was that there was a smell of sulfur in the water when we swam in the bay. Otherwise we had a great time and would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

This hotel was decent but not what I expected for the price and based on the pictures. Maybe it’s because we were given a room in the furthest building on the bottom floor with a view of a huge plant, or because the room above us was constantly dragging their chairs around but I wouldn’t stay here again. The beds were comfortable and the beach was nice and quiet, but overall the hotel felt lacking.

We throughly enjoyed our stay! The property with private beach, pool with hot tub and restaursnts was exactly what we needed for a relaxing vacation. Access to town and area beaches was a plus! And easy access to the boat to St. Johns was the topping on the cake! Thumbs up to the on property restaurant The Fish Market!! Food was Delicious!

Both the back and front door locks didn’t work. The walls were so thin you can hear your neighbors fart.
They told me I can have a late checkout and on my last day I called the front office to confirm and they said I can’t have a late checkout and they will charge me $25 for every hour past the checkout time if I don’t leave at 10.
The beach towels provided were gross with stains on them and every day I asked for a new one, they grilled me and asked if and when I returned the previous towels.
Very unprofessional property manager with a bad attitude. I would never stay here again.
Save your money and stay someplace else.

The Elysian resort was great. Staff was excellent, Moy was nice and knowledgeable. Breakfast options are great. Taxis are usually on the property and very reliable. Wished the resort had more nightlife activities & the hot tub was working. Resort is very quiet at night so if you like that, this is the spot for you !

Nice quite property with a beautiful little cove beach. Staff is friendly. Make sure you are willing to hike up and down many steps! Property is built on the side of a small mountain! If you are put in one of the top units like we were the walk back up to the room from the beach is not something you want to do very many times! Let’s just say, I think my legs are more toned after my vacation which I guess is not a bad thing! Restaurant on site is absolutely 5 star! Everything we had was delicious!

First off. No gym. They apparently USED to have a gym but not anymore. The company CLEARLY states they have a gym. Lie. All the units are on the hill away from the water. Beach is small but nice. There is NOTHING around the resort. Town is 1 1/2 miles away. Dangerous to walk. It’s very expensive and there are no amenities.

The property was extremely well maintained. Our room was very clean and spacious. The view from our room was a great view of the beach and our balcony was really nice. The property has a lot of hills and steps and you'll need comfy shoes. We really enjoyed food and drinks at the bar in The Caribbean Fish Restaurant on the property. Rico and John were both very attentive and served great drinks! They made us feel very welcomed. Rico was very helpful with giving us tips about getting around the island and taking the ferry to St. John. Also, The Sangria Pub had great drinks and pizzas. We will definitely be back!

The resort is well laid out and the rooms were very nice. I especially liked their wi-fi setup. I tried both restaurants and the food was good, but their wait staff need some training in hospitality.

The beach itself was a great location on the island and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

We had a disappointing stay here. The hotel was overbooked and our 1 bedroom room was unavailable so we had to stay in a smaller studio. The food and restaurants were underwhelming and overpriced. If you book, call ahead to make sure they do not assign your room to someone else.

Enjoyed the property and room. The private beach and pool is nice as well. Did not like the extra taxes or free wifi charges, which is probably a hidden fee when booked through Expedia but I think it should all be included if that's what the hotel is going to charge you once you there. There should be complementary coffee and small fruit, or pastries for guest. On site restaurants are nice, and bit overpriced but it seems like everything in St Thomas/St John is. Overall we enjoyed the location and quiet hotel.

Be aware the pictures of the two-story condos Expedia shows for this site is most likely not what you will get. I didn’t read the fine print well & my husband and I ended up with two double beds for our stay. My own fault, but misleading none-the-less. They only have four of those style condos shown in the Expedia pictures. The staff was very friendly and helpful in attempting to get us at least a king suite but was unsuccessful as we traveled during busy season.
The gym, spa, and housekeeping were unavailable for use due to Covid still. Overall a nice stay for the price- can’t beat being right on the beach. Beautiful place in general.

When we arrived, our room was in good condition and clean. We stayed at this resort for a week. When you walk around it is obvious that the resort is older and in a state of decline. On the day you check in your told there is no maid service. So everything from toilet paper to getting your wastebaskets cleaned out, it just doesn’t happen. There is absolutely no maid service. It is the first hotel I’ve ever stayed at and paid over $500 a night for a room, where I had to sweep my own floors clean my own toilets etc. When you do ask for things such as a fresh set of towels, or the aforementioned toilet paper, eventually somebody does come by and provide it to you. For the most part it seemed to be an extremely unhappy older gentleman. Overall, the money side of things went pretty well. There are only two restaurants on the property, you cannot charge anything to your room at all. And it’s the little things like the shrubbery right outside our room was dead and it had been dead a long time. The walkways that we left our room to go to the very nice beach, were very dirty and had not been clean or swept. I don’t know how long certainly not during the entire week we were there. Therefore I cannot recommend this resort to you.
