The room was lovely as were the pool and restaurant. Also the little shop was great. We did not have WiFi at all and on day 4 we lost power and water. The staff seemed totally helpless and had no idea when it would be restored. We were refunded by Travelocity and moved to the Westin.

The room was clean. Only had an issue with the AC leaking. Maintenance came out look at it, put towels down....
The staff eas very friendly and helpful each time we needed a taxi. Didn't see anyone with their pets, but i did see a cat, chickens, and a crab on the property, lol.

Room very cute and accommodating. Me and my husband brought our 21 yr old daughter and it was nice that our king size bed was in the loft area so our daughter had the downstairs area with the pull out sofa and balcony to give her space as well. The only negative of the room was the carpet had a couple of stains that should have been treated/cleaned.

THIS IS NOT HOTEL! It’s TIMESHARE OWNER! We searched for hotel and resort and this Limetree showed up so we booked on this place then when we got there the receptionist said we don’t have reservations on this place, we showed our receipt but she still can’t find it then she said they send your name to our sister hotel which is on the other side of the Island and not what we booked for. We drove to the other hotel. Our room was facing the parking lot and too far from the beach, but we book front beach room not this crap. The beach was polluted can’t swim on it it’s too many boats. Then we talk to the manager the next day. The manager apologized then she sent us back to the original hotel that we asked “Limetree hotel”. We made another deposit again and energy bills again. So we finally went back to Limetree the concierge told us that “they prioritize only the Timeshare holders”. because that place is only for them and the owner always put it on the third party vendors and every time that happens they have to send those customers to their sister hotel without telling us! It’s exclusive for timeshare holders unless it’s a lot of empty rooms. BTW you don’t get a house keeper in that hotel. They only clean it after you check out. We stayed for 4 nights and they told us that. I asked for clean towels and nothing showed up. BTW the beach is very rocky try not to break your ankle. SAVE YOURSELF FROM STRESS! DO NOT BOOK HERE UNLESS YOU ARE TIMESHARE HOLDERS

We searched only for hotel and resort then we booked to this hotel and when we got there they said we have no reservation at their hotel and they sent us to their sister hotel which is not the hotel that we wanted. Then we talked to the hotel manager the next morning and she manage to send us back to the Limetree hotel and the concierge told us that that because that hotel is only for TIMESHARE holders and that’s the first priority and if you are not they will send you to their sister hotel which is not what we wanted and it didn’t say that at all on the website that it’s timeshare hotel. We stayed for 4 days and no house keeper at all from that hotel.

The property itself is between 3-4 stars. It was fine for the price I paid however the Timeshare pressure was ridiculous. They don’t mention that when you’re booking this place. They really push you and once you agree (if you agree) it’s very unorganized! We got off the plane, very jet-lagged and tired. They pressured us into an immediate timeshare presentation while we waited on our room to be ready. They shuffled us to an entirely different location and once we got there, those at the actual place said they were fully booked. We wasted hours of out time!!! Not the ideal way to start your vacation. No compensation for this whatsoever. Then, when we finally got into our room, it wasn’t at all what we reserved! We reserved the suite with a walk-up loft area. I really wanted to complain but immediately thought of that White Lotus episode where the guy wasn’t satisfied with his room. 😂 I was just over it and wanted to relax. In addition to that, there was no room service during our stay! We are low maintenance but it would’ve been nice to have our room refreshed. If you opt to stay here, just forego the Timeshare presentation and enjoy your vacay. Other guests have said they had the typical time suck nightmare experience as well…

And ensure your room type when you check in! Have them put it in the notes. They said we had the walk-up loft area upon checking in but when we got to the room hours later, it was a small hotel/type room.

The location is superb! The landscaping is beautiful and though an older property, it was very well maintained. We loved not having to leave the property to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. The Market was great for room snacks and incidentals. The pergolas overlooking the beach and ocean was a favorite spot. The nicely \"zone\" designed pool with the bar was a delight late in the day. The studio was nicely appointed with a very comfortable king bed in a private sleeping space, but the stairs took time getting use to. There was no office center and service overall was slow.

Really a beautiful place to stay. Close to the ferry and shopping. Very clean rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful with providing information on local sights. If you need a taxi -ask for Philmore. He was great!! He knows the island like the back of his hand! Always on time. Great tour guide and very friendly.

We’ve been to St Thomas and St John and mostly stay in AirBNB rentals. First time and Limetree and we will absolutely be back. The property has everything you need at a reasonable price point. Great for families or couples. It’s quiet, private but convenient to all of main areas on the island.

I traveled from Chicago to St.Thomas. when i finally arrived at the Limetree they said they were out of rooms and could not accommodate me and they sent me to the Margaritaville resort. I was pleasantly surprised once i arrived at Margaritaville. I think I loved Margaritaville more than I would have the Limetree!! I wish they would have contacted me sooner as I spent my whole first day of vaca in route for a room!!!

The property garden area was well maintained and the rooms looked nice, however, the room was not as clean as I would have expected.
The staff was lovely and welcoming, but the service in terms of timeliness could use some work. We left and came back after hours and still had to wait a while before the room was ready. We were eventually given another room instead.

The only dining available was not open until 10am and after waiting until the opening time, the menu was underwhelming.

I would give the hotel another try in the future because overall my family and I enjoyed ourselves.

The property was well laid out. I enjoyed the walk-out beach access that my room offered. My only negatives would be the food at the restaurant and the lack of parking. I ordered a NY strip and shrimp plate. The demi glaze sauce was TOO salty and made the steak inedible and the shrimp were charbroiled to a blackened state for a dish that was not blackened.
To improve customer service, I would recommend daily housekeeping service rather than the COVID schedule that many facilities have adopted. People want to be unencumbered with worrying about making beds, clean linens, towels and trash attracting ants.
Overall, a very nice resort. I would return.

The privacy was awesome. The beach was amazing and the location of our room was literally steps from the beach. What i didnt like was without a rental it sucks. The staff should make it known how important a rental car is. They have very limited options for food. The market on the property sucks and is super expensive. The one and only place to eat opens at 10am so early breakfast is out the window. Their menu sucked. You end up spending hundreds of dollars on taxi's. The pool bar closes at 6pm...it was a beautiful resort but definitely many disappointments

Nice resort with a lovely pool and small private beach, but we didn’t realize they don’t provide complimentary room service so keeping the room clean was an issue as we invariably brought in some sand everyday. The drinks & snack shop by the pool has very limited hours. No service provided by the beach so it’s not really like a resort but more like an apartment-hotel, where you are on your own for everything.
The shop for guests to buy any supplies inside is expensive. Onsite restaurant was ok but overpriced as well.

We chose the Limetree because of its price, appearance, and location; close to other properties and near downtown. The beaches looked nice and the hotel updated. Upon arriving at the the hotel, the receptionist said that we were moved to another property. They said we were notified but were not. We watched as they offered another incoming guest a drink. It would have gone a long way if the receptionists had been apologetic and accommodating in any way. I read other reviews that stated similiar experiences, but I thought it was a fluke. Not so! The other property we were moved to had lower ratings and charged less per night; yet we were not given a discount. The location of the alternate hotel was isolated and the beaches were pretty gross. There were ants in the room, a leaking toilet and the room was dated. It was really far from where we wanted to be. At least management were kind at the second place.

Didn’t have the booking days correct. I paid in full on Hotels.com and the hotel had us checking out 2 days sooner. Got that fixed. Ended up charged another $1500 when we checked out. They don’t know really why and will look into it supposedly. Boxes and empty containers in our room when we got there. Had to ask for more towels, toilet paper, etc. The room was also much smaller than the pics on website. We had friends that stayed as well and there room was what the the website looked like and they didn’t have trash in their room upon check in.

If you want to be on vacation where the hotel pool and amenities is also the community pool to locals then this is your place. Called the hotel to address the issue and their response was why didn’t you inform us ? Well, I wasn’t aware that was my job and also there is a security that walks laps around the resort. shouldn’t he have that responsibility not the guest? Isn’t that his job?
There are many animals on the property, which wouldn’t be an issue if they actually kept them away from
the pool deck. You can expect to swim with duck, rooster, chicken and/or iguana poop along with all the locals. Other guest attempted to clean some of it up with leaves only to have other guest step right into it. Extremely unhygienic.
On the first night we had the fire alarm go off in the middle of the night. A glitch maybe or out of battery not sure. We called for assistance, no one came to check on the alarm until
The next day 4pm. Thankfully
We were able to mute it after an hour of nonstop ringing ourselves. We are Still waiting on the towels we never received. Sometimes you call for the golf cart to take you uphill to the lobby and it may or may not show up - another guest had to walk up this hill in high heels (unfortunately). The prices at the bar are more expensive than other resorts. We went to newly opened Westin property and they had cheaper prices for much better service, food/drinks and ambience.

The property was absolutely beautiful. What was most important was the staff. Manuel(property manager) really took it upon himself to make a booking disaster(not the property's fault) into a normal and very enjoyable experience for us. We'd also like to personally thank the rest of the phenomenal staff that aided in our stay , Micaela, Kirsten and the other concierge gentleman(sorry cant remember his name), Ashley and Michai were all very instrumental in our extraordinary visit. We would definitely visit Limetree resort again !

I wish all rooms were nice and clean as room 224 and without carpet, we had to switch rooms one we were give first had very dirty carpet and smelled like mold, we were not offered any compensation for getting smaller room, restaurant was just ok, same food every day, one of the worst things was all those bugs, we had bugs bites all over our bodies, I wish management was doing something about that
Best thing was our Taxi service, Kim was great driver , always available upon our requests

I wish I would say will come back .. but unfortunately it is not the resort I would recommend

Even after making a phone call, we weren't given any details about the late change. Wyndham is a total scam, avoid at all costs.

Very nice location with an amazing pool adjacent to the beach. Nice poolside bar. The condos were reasonable well appointed with some amenities. The outsides looked rather sterile for a tropical paradise resort especially the entries but this was not so important. Reasonably affordable sometimes quite good food at the one open restaurant and a decent happy hour menu. The place is a mix between condos and hotel, so many hotel like amenities not there (one tiny bottle of shampoo and no replacements.) so bring your own . The beach is beautiful but not the greatest for for swimming (could have been the surf when we were there but rocks abound on the beach. ). The staff were friendly and generally helpful. The internet was out in our last morning which made making plans a bit challenging but I suspect this is uncommon. You have to pay for high speed. Would go back again for the pool, views and reasonable cost

Beautiful property. Very clean and well-appointed. There restaurant on premises was perfect. Just what we were looking for several nights of our stay... nothing fancy but decent food and a good variety. The pool is amazing, although the pool bar hours were limited. The beach is lovely but pretty rocky in the water, so if you really want a beautiful beach to spend some time at, drive 15 minutes to Sapphire Beach, near Red Hook.

Limetree Beach Resort was a great hotel to stay for our 4-day getaway. The workers were friendly and very down to earth. It was a diverse crowd stay at this resort. I loved the pool and enjoyed that it was a few steps away from the beach! The beach over at this resort is clean.. I didn't like that the marketplace closed so early. Once they were closed, there wasn't much to really munch or drink when you had a late night craving. The hotel was a taxi ride to everywhere. Even though everything seemed close, nothing was walking distance. The cart drivers are not always available, and taxi rides charge per person, not destination. The hotel was cleaned and well maintained. We had a mini kitchen equipped with utensils, which was a plus. They were grateful enough to decorate the room for my significant other birthday. (Shout out to the maintenance team and everyone who supported us there). Alyssa, Tiffany, Anthony, and others were very helpful with finding things to do in the area) The restaurant at the resort has great scenery, the staff were friendly, attentive and the food was delicious! Overall, I would recommend this resort!

When i made reservations thinking that this property had more to offer such as more than 1 restaurant and bars which was advertised on their web site. Room had a moldy smell and guest service was bad. Asked for sheets for beds got wrong size sheets 3 times. There were not a lot of options such as shuttle and transit on and off properly. Also there were no options for getting rooms cleaned on a daily bases.

The limetree resort is a great place for people who are looking for a relaxing and quiet vacation spot, while also wanting a taste of night life. The swim up bar allows people to hangout and drink but it closes at 5, so it never got too loud or crazy at the pool. The beach is very quiet and a good snorkeling location. As far as service goes, the staff was very responsive and always kind. Also a great perk to staying at the limetree is the resturant called Lanai. Amazing service and a great view! I would recommend limetree to people who are looking for a relaxing get away.

The property was very sterile. Very very unfriendly, overworked staff all with negative attitudes. They pushed that time share business in our faces and asked way too many demographic ( unnecessary and rude questions. We waited at least 45 minutes to get checked in and get keys. Also when we asked to get a glass of water or the punch (that I was told was $15.00 a bottle and hands off) this very very rude lady, not Gail, to me the paying customer. Not appreciated by myself and my boyfriend. Also on check out , we had an early flight, we were told that there was no one available to pick up our luggage (which included dive equipment and Two heavy heavy suitcases) to take us to the lobby to catch out cab. Thank goodness we are strong and in shape as it was quite a climb to the lobby with our gear. The waitstaff at the restaurant were overworked, harnessed and unfriendly. We were a few minutes late to our dinner and apologized
, we were treated like we had just majorly inconvenienced them and they wanted nothing to do with us. Also this was my vacation and in no way was a timeshare talk was going to be part of it. I did not enjoy that being stuffed down our throats. Will never never stay at a Wyndham resort again. I travel a great deal and so do my friends, I will never never never encourage anyone to stay at ANY of your properties. All is a shame because the grounds were fairly decent. Nope never again.

Our room was fabulous but a bit tough for folks like me having difficulty with stairs after a hip surgery. Bathroom was on one floor and the bedroom on another. The bed was fabulous along with the view!
Adored the pool and the beach, along with the ducks, chickens, cats (not so much iguanas, but they left me alone).
The grounds were immaculate! Loved the quietness, not too many noisy guests or kids!
The Lanai was good, especially if you are a health nut or vegan. Not so good if you needed more cooked meals with a little more meat involved. It was the only restaurant open (Not the 2 quoted online that were supposed to be there ----so no other option other than the Lanai)
The so-called Market, not entirely dependable in terms of when it was supposed to be open. Each day was different and it was hard to get breakfast or a late sandwich for dinner. Next time we know to stop at a grocery store and buy a week's worth of meals rather than try to rely on the Market and the excessive pricing of items.
Did lose a lot of weight at this resort. So, not a bad trade off. 5lbs in a week! But by day 3, one of the roaming chickens on property was starting to look good for a meal... just saying.
Did get forced into an unnecessary 2 hour presentation on being an \"owner\" in Wyndam's vacation packages. So lost about a half day to this, nearly missing the free ride back to our hotel, but then to use the \"free vouchers\" for restaurant, we had to spend $60 in taxi fees to and back from lunch.

Limetree was laid back and perfect.
Rooms were clean and as advertised.
All of Limetree was clean and well organized.
Only (1) restaurant open during our visit.
Lanai was fine if limited on the menu.
Beautiful place to have a meal and a vacation.

Didn’t have the best stay here at Limetree. Our A/C was never operational and it took the front office staff 3 days and two relocations to find us a working clean room, all while pushing to sign up for timeshare points. The cleanliness was sub-par as well. The staff in the restaurants, dive shop and market were very kind, helpful and hospitable. The grounds and wildlife were beautiful and tranquil.

My husband and I came to St Thomas to celabrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We honeymooned here. Our original hotel is long gone but we were so pleased with our choice of Linetree Resort. Everything was perfect, the staff was friendly. We will always remember our evenings at the pool facing the beautiful Caribbean Sea.

We loved our stay at the Limetree Beach Resort. It was beautiful, clean, and private. The beach was perfect for our swimming and snorkeling activities and the pool was also wonderful. The food at the Lanai restaurant was something special— every dish we ordered was outstanding. The people there are friendly and helpful. It was a dream getaway for our family.

I really enjoyed the beach even though it was rocky. The pool area was nice. The snorkeling was good. The view from our balcony was great. The studio suite was well laid out and very comfortable. All and all a very nice property to stay at. The only negative I had about the place was at check-in, where they sent you to a concierges and sold you on going to a 90 minute session to listen to a timeshare cell. I didn’t care for that one bit. I had no idea that was going to happen. So my advice and check in is to skip going to the concierge and just start your vacation.

The property was nice and clean, lots of iguanas walking around and two besties a white and a black duck always together,so beautiful. The beach was not nice at all, not even a bit. The beach has a lot of rocks big rocks not don't let you go in and enjoy the water. I didn't see anyone

Location is amazing, quiet. If you like iguanas and chickens you can see them all the day long.
The place is far from any public transportation, you have to call the taxi to move to other places and it can be expensive and a waste of time waiting for the drive. You probably need to rent a car. Remember that they drive on the left.

What a great, relaxing vacation. The atmosphere was wonderful and the staff were amazing. There is some wildlife on the property such as chickens and iguanas so don’t be surprised to see some droppings left behind. For me this only added to the character. I would visit again!

Lovely place. We had 2 rooms, 6 people. The check in staff did not have the sense to put our party of 4 in the larger room, so we had to move all of our stuff around after check in. They also failed to tell us that none of the on site bars, restaurants, store, etc accepted room charges, which led to embarrassment and inconvenience. Otherwise it was very nice, and the staff was very pleasant.

We had an excellent stay with our 12 year-old twins for 5 nights. The resort was very quiet perfect location for us to relax. Easy to get cabs usually one waiting on property. Texting service for front text was very convenient. Food at both resorts very good. Swim up pool bar as well. Would recommend!

The facilities on the property are all brand new. Our unit was a 3 level condo with kitchen, two TVs and lovely balcony overlooking the pool and cove. The one major drawback of this resort is the beach. It is rocky. If you are looking to sit on a beach, do water sports and swim in the water this is not the place for that. There is a pool. I’d advise having a car or taking cabs to other beaches. The food at all 3 options here are very good.

The room at lime tree was amazing, restaurants within the facility had very limited menu. Many, but not all, of the staff seemed to be very bothered by the guests. There are only two places to eat, one being closed a few days out of the week, but yet they allowed us to make reservations on a day that it was closed.

Really love the size and location of the property. The views we're really amazing as well. Rooms were nice and the size of them was good. Dining options were good as well as small on-site store. Sunsets from Lanai are as advertised. I wish daily cleaning was back but that is more of a COVID thing. Staff was friendly and gave us the number for the cab company which arrived 6-10 mins every time after we called them which was great. I really wish you could charge things to room on-property. I found having to carry card/cash everywhere annoying but it works. Bring bug spray if sitting outside at night (not a hotel thing but an island thing) little sand flies bite :) On a side note - I highly recommend taking the ferry from Red Hook to Trunk Bay beach on St. John. for a day trip. Fantastic. Also ate at Easterly in Red Hook and Sunset Grill at Secret Cove and both were great.
