I had an ocean view from my room, and all of the pools had amazing views. The private Sugar Beach was an extraordinary asset to the overall trip to St. Thomas. In addition, the cost of taxis from the resort to Red Hook was very reasonable, and if using a rental car, the resort is located in an easy-to-access location.

Point Pleasant Resort has some of the most beautiful views on St. Thomas. Gated community with a friendly staff eager to meet your needs. Restaurant serves delicious food and beverages and located on the water. Short taxi ride to St. John ferry. Some rooms have beautiful sea and island views. L4 was clean and comfortable but without the views of other units, but the affordable price is a trade off. I will return to Point Pleasant on my next trip to St. Thomas.

I booked and paid for two one bedroom condos months before the trip. I received on one bedroom condo and an efficiency upon arrival, we were a party of eight people, four per unit. I complained to the management stating I paid for two one bedroom condo's and their response is that is what expedia booked. We had to use patio furniture in order for people to find a place to sleep. Basically I was told that was just the way it was. Beware of booking here with Expedia.

This was my 3rd time staying here - although the other 2 were over 25 years ago - but the place is still amazing. Wonderfull room that is the perfect size and an amazing balcony with an even more amazing view. The pools were Wonderful to swim in at night and were always kept very clean. All of the staff is very friendly and attentive. When I come back again I will definitely be staying here again.

I fell walking down the stairs, heading to the restaurant, called Sun and Sea near e12 I may be typing the restaurant name wrong but it’s the only restaurant that’s open at this time. There is a set of stairs that is directly adjacent to the pool that doesn’t have any type of grips on them and no I was not wet and it had not been raining nor was I under the influence of drugs or alcohol. I still fell due to the sleek slippery design of the staircase. The opposite side of the restaurant has yellow grips. I suggest adding those grips to the stairs that is directly next to the pool because people that may have utilized the pool or are wet or ground is wet from rain can truly hurt themselves. I did tell the bartender when it happened as well as the person that checked me out when I left the resort I have a few bruises on my arm and the back of my leg, but overall, I’m fine just bringing awareness to the situation. this is my second time staying with you All. My first visit was in 2021 so I most definitely enjoyed you guys but we have to be safe a person‘s shoe choice should not be in an excuse for safety. I had on sandals by the way, as many people will have one because of the nature of the stay. Booked Aug1 thru 5

We anxiously awaited our stay at Point Pleasant, and it was everything we had hoped.
The views were amazing, our villa was cozy.
The staff was attentive and helpful.
We ate several meals at Sun & Sea Bar and Grill and it was always delicious.

I had an absolutely awful experience at this resort. I’m an avid traveler, traveled from young and I have always traveled with my children from a young age and I have never experienced such poor service, safety and accountability concerns. To the point that I even had to call emergency services during my stay which is unimaginable.
I checked in on a Thursday and walked into a hot room, the AC wasn’t working but it being later in the evening and the front desks closing every day at 6pm, there was no one to call.The next morning I called to have it looked at and maintenance came and said they could not do anything they would have to call a technician, no one could give me an estimation of time of when the technician would come and no one offered any type of apology for our discomfort. I went to the beach for the entire day with my kids due to the issue hoping it would be fixed before we came back, when I called the front desk to get an update I was answered rudely with the receptionist saying, “ I walked though that unit myself before check in and the ac was fine!”, keep in mind the AC was on 59 degrees all night and it was actually cooler outside than inside. She went on to say she still doesn’t know when. Long story short, we were purposely locked out of our room by the tech on our return and I found out from security that the room doors did not have proper locks on it. Management Claudine and Carrie were rude and never apologized, never stay here for your own safety!

A small resort with friendly staff, two good restaurants and not far from the Red Hook ferry to St. John. Comfortable room with a kitchen. Great ocean views! They get a lot of restaurant visitors from the Margaritaville resort nearby. Good value in the off season.

The property is adequate. I arrived at 1pm after a red eye and my daughter and I were exhausted and didn’t get a room until 5pm, an hour after check in. We were told by the housekeeper that she “got in late.” You’re paying for a kitchen but we didn’t need that. Poole are average. The walk to Coki beach is really gross and covered with trash. And the walk to margaritaville for dinner has been devastated by the constant inflow of Seagrass. It smells and you need to step through a really dirty stream. But the staff was generally nice. The room itself was large if a bit dated.

Beautiful condos/villas. So many hills, beware of mosquitos you cant see. Spray yourself each day, they will bite. Nice pool, so close to the beach. Willy was such a nice and helpful man. The front desk you call them and they pick you from room to take you around the resort. Margaritaville restaurant is the spot to be. The resort has a nice bar/restaurant downstairs. Go to store and shop for water and snacks as the resorts lobby closes at 5pm. It would be nice if they would give complimentary water for the guest.

The property is beautiful. It’s a bit of a hike from where your car is parked to where you are staying. They offer shuttle services around the resort, but we never used them because we were too busy exploring the island. Everyone was friendly, the restaurant is good and the condo was very nice. I would stay there again. In a good location also.

Amazing resort but we may have gotten to room with the least views. A22. I was most excited about the wrap around porch and we only had about a 6 ft wide porch. Also the pull out sofa mattress was terrible and it too 2 days to get a pillow topper which we laid on top of the mattress on the floor. There were no coffee filters in the room so they gave us some but they didn’t fit but there was a Keurig in the lobby which was just above our room so that was nice. Enjoyed the Captains Quarters for coffee and big connect four. We Enjoyed Sugar beach and the Sun & Sea for drinks and watching fish. We cooked in the room or went to Red Hook which is a short drive.

Stayed here for my first trip to St. Thomas. The property was quiet and spacious. I enjoyed how much room I had in my ocean view room. It felt private and I had an amazing view. My unit was complete with a TV, large soft king size bed, coffee maker, large refrigerator, microwave, sofa. The outer area had a table, chairs and recliners where you can just sit, relax and enjoy the view. The resort is also close to the Red Hook ferry station (7 min drive), which is nice if you want to make a day trip to St. John.
Some areas for improvement:
The building does seem a bit old and somewhat outdated. I saw a flying cockroach in my bathroom that I had trouble killing but it somehow died by the next morning. The curtains and walls certainly could use some updating/renovation. This is kind of random but if you are renting a car and parking, be sure to have the unit number available for the guard. They apparently provide this for you before you check in but I didn’t know. Not a big deal as I was able to find it quickly in my inbox but it did cause a tiny hiccup when I tried driving up to the resort. Overall a decent place to stay if you’re looking for somewhere quiet and spacious.

The views was fantastic. Staff was helpful with assisting in getting around the property. There was no housekeeping and it took multiple calls to get clean linens. Curtains was falling off the rod, floor was not clean. Villa and appliances are very old. Shower door fell off hinges. There are very few options for food and shopping, taxis are very expensive. Getting around the island is difficult.I found the island in general tourist friendly.

Excellent Resort!
The view from our room was magnificent. We went to Cost-u-Less for breakfast food & liquor since we had a kitchenette. The 3 pools and 2 restaurants on the property were good. The staff was great and very helpful (lobby & shuttle). It was a plus being close to Margaretville and Coki Beach. The only issues were the shower door didn't stay shut unless positioned just right, tv area needed dusting, and curtains had a few missing prongs.

The view from our patio was awesome!! The unit we stayed in was just perfect for us!! Loved having coffee and breakfast every morning on the patio. The Sun & Sea Bar & Grille has delicious food and drinks. The bartenders and wait staff are great!! We had lots of laughs. Enjoyed watching the Tarpon that swim by the bar. We stayed in Unit B9 for 6 days. The unit was not very clean, I had to wash every dish before we used it (The unit is advertised as having a fully equipped kitchen, absolutely not.) there are very few eating utensils and even less cooking utensils. There was also no bedding for the pullout sofa. The property is outdated, but it is clean and safe. The staff was also very friendly. The unit itself definitely needs some TLC.

We had a great stay at PPR. Everyone was so nice and friendly. We loved the restaurants and bar. You can walk to Margaritaville and Coki beach. The lobby has coolers to rent for $10. This came in handy for our beach trips We will definitely be back to PPR.

Quiet and relaxing. The customer service was top notch. We had an issue with our room and were upgraded to a different room without hesitation. Some of the buildings on this property are nicer than others. Our first room definitely needed some updating and was not as nice as the room we were transferred to. There are plenty of taxis to take you where you want to go, but are very expensive. Would be nice to have some more restaurants on the property or close by within walking distance.

Point Pleasant Resort is an older resort, however it offers many advantages, gorgeous views, two nice restaurants, three pools, very friendly staff and good security.
The resort is on a steep hill, so if you have difficulties going up a lot of steps, they provide transportation.

When the reservation was made through Expedia no information is given as to exactly which condo you are reserving. Pictures online are of several different condos. Ours was very dated and in need of many repairs. The beautiful view we could have had from our tiny balcony was obscured by a very large bush in the planter box of the condo that has obviously never been trimmed and had any up keep. The handle on the sliding glass door was broken off. The other slider could not be moved without coming off the track. The unit was not cleaned well. The kitchen cabinets were very dated. The knob to control the temperature of the refrigerator was broken off. All of our food froze. The remote to control the AC temp was broken. We made the best of it but would not recommend unless you book a condo directly with the unit owner and know what you are getting

Loved this property…..gave us all kinds of options. Walked to Coki and Sugar beaches and took the $2 shuttle to Red Hook just 10 minutes away to grab the ferry to St John. We spent 2 weeks here which was perfect!

We were only there for a short time, but the weather was beautiful. Unfortunately we were never able to get to Smith beach, but it would be somewhat difficult to walk there and a little pricy to park, so probably good to drive and go early in the day if that is a choice to visit. Coki beach area was walkable, but did not seem very safe, so I myself would not venture that way again. St John, Honeymoon Beach was beautiful, and only a 20 min ferry ride from Red Hook. Lots of snorkeling and a nice hike to the beaches.

A fine property, clean, scenic, only used 2 of the 3 pools they were very well kept. Limited beach on property. Snorkeling from that beach was below average but still fun. There was blaring loud music coming from somewhere but only a couple of hours in the late afternoon. Bottom line, good property at a great price!

This was our 2nd time at Point Pleasant. Wonderful staff - very friendly and helpful. Beautiful & comfortable rooms with fantastic views. The restaurant down by the water has been \"upscaled\" since our last visit - more menu choices, particularly the fish tacos with the catch of the day are excellent. My only minor complaint is that they need more staff in the restaurant to handle the larger crowd now that their menu has expanded. Fantastic place to stay on the island, we will be back again.

The view was great from our unit. It was self contained with a kitchen with good equipment. Three pools on site…one close to our unit. The two restaurants on site were far away…shuttle available. The facility is quite far from Red Hook Bay where all the activities are located. Expensive taxi fare is always readily available for those without a rental car.
