The property itself could use some TLC, the grounds had trash laying around. We stayed just to be convenient to the airport and it served that purpose and I’d probably do it again however, I would not vacation at this property.

On the beach and beach chairs available, thanks to a vendor that take care of them for the hotel. Nice looking pool area. Front desk will assist in getting taxi. Plan on waiting a hour or more at the restaurant for anything. The bar will give you better service and the coffee shack.

The room was dirty when we arrived stained sheets dirty floor and bathroom however once we spoke to the front they did clean it . The lady at the front desk was really nice .Overall it was good.

Terrible & rude staff that would walk right past you and not acknowledge you at all. Not to mention, they add an automatic 18% gratuity to all drinks and meals, which we wouldn’t mind paying if the staff was friendly or prompt.
The A/C did not work correctly and made e terrible noise all night long.

This hotel is small and slightly short staffed. Service is slow but friendly. The room had an amazing view but flying insects were a problem for us. The water goes from hot to cold. Beds were comfortable. The rooms are not modern but for the price and the beach it's well worth it. Emerald Beach is gorgeous and this hotel shines because of it. Also the food here is very good but expensive. No elevators. I would stay again.

The staff was really nice. Felt comfortable and safe with them. Just genuine, sweet vibes. However, the service at the restaurant was still HORRIBLE. Waited over an hour just for one pizza and not including the 30 minutes just for someone to come up to us…mind you we had to go look for help. It was like this every time and everybody else knew it too. You’d look around and just see everyone at their tables looking around for some service. I called before booking to make sure rooms were up to date and was told the entire resort had remodels. By remodels, I guess they meant a new sink/counter install and called it a day. There was nothing modern or updated about these rooms. You could hear the water tunneling down in the restroom. One bed had a tiny blood stain on the sheets, so we just didn’t use it. You could tell the restroom wasn’t cleaned beforehand. Hair in the shower and dirty mirrors. Balcony and ac unit was janky. Ac didn’t work well for 2 days until someone came and fixed it. Cheetos from the vending machine were wet!!! Through the bag! But what you will enjoy is the easy beautiful beach access. Free towels and chairs with umbrellas, taxis waiting outside the parking lot, walkable to and from the airport. It was worth the money and I’d recommend to someone who doesn’t expect much and isn’t high maintenance. This is not for you, but idk many other hotels around here that are.

The hotel was dirty, most receptionist weren’t the friendliest. The linens seem as if they were never washed, my skin felt so irritated and itchy sleeping on the linen. The room have a grimmey, damp, heavy feel, JUST GROSS. It needs to be renovated& DEEP CLEAN. MY FAMILY AND I COULD NOT WAIT TO CHECK OUT. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Room was really pretty. Had a great view of the ocean. Bathroom door wouldn’t lock so that wasn’t great, but over all it was good. Everything was super clean too. Side note: THERE ARE NO MINI FRIDGES OR MICROWAVES. If that’s something that matters to you (cause it did matter for me and my boyfriend) be prepared. The restaurant were a mess. We went to eat there one night and we waited 30 minutes to be seen, didn’t get seen so we walked up to talk to someone and see if we can place an order. No one was around they were all in the back. I talked to other people who had ordered food and they said they have been waiting 2 hours. Needless to say we just left cause we had a rental car and knew there were other places to eat. Bartender (a gentleman that worked there) was really awesome. The staff were nice for the most part. Parking there is easy and the pool is also really nice. Also super close to a car rental and the airport I definitely would stay here again, I would just manage my expectations.

There was a lot that we really liked about this place. And some things we really disliked about it. To start with the good. The location was great. Easy access to a lot of things. The beach was really beautiful. The food at the restaurant was really good. The service was slow, as people mentioned in other reviews. But that's kind of the island in general. Island time things. I felt it was worth the wait. It was really nice having the jet ski rentals right there. Lime out, for floating tacos was great as well.
Now for the negatives. The beds and pillows were probably the worst of any hotel I've slept in. Very uncomfortable. The room was not the cleanest. Not disgusting by any means. But definitely not super clean. The airport is behind the hotel, so the airplanes are very loud on takeoff and landing. But we actually got used to it pretty quickly. And they didn't go late at night, so it didn't disrupt sleep at all. I'm almost not sure if I should mention this, but it was the worst part of the hotel for me. If you are on the ocean side, there are big trees that line the hotel. There are flocks of chickens that roost in those trees every night. I was woken up every morning at 3:30 by the roosters. They crow non-stop between 3:30 and 7:00 a.m. I understand this isn't the hotel's fault. But they could put fake owls or something in the trees to keep them out.
Overall, for the price, it's a pretty good hotel. Average price, average hotel.

This establishment is billed as a resort, but it felt more like a hotel or motel. I think it would have met expectations if it didn't have \"resort\" in the name. Some examples: no porter to help with luggage, no carts, and our room was located several hundred yards from the lobby. The restaurant was understaffed and we had to wait 45 minutes at times for service. Room view was obstructed but there was no disclosure of this or chance to pay more for a room with a better view, for what I saw. When checking in, there was no secure place to leave our luggage while we waited for our room to be available; it sat in the lobby. The staff were fairly curt and not very friendly and welcoming. Room condition/cleanliness was fine and landscaping was fine.

Honestly, the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in- we had to leave and stay somewhere else. The amenities are atrocious, staff was rude, place is extremely outdated. The worst of it all was the lack of security. Locals just hanging out in the parking lot and around the property doing drugs and drinking. Came home from dinner with my wife and daughter and was followed.

We do our homework & this hotel was as expected this not being our first Caribbean trip. Most of the staff met our expectations by being friendly & responsive. However allowing non-guest foot traffic to access the beach via the hotel property takes away from the experience. On other islands there are separate beach access paths between the hotels. This must make it impossible to keep the hotel walkways, stairs, & restaurant floor clean especially after runoff from heavy rain. Also I believe the beach chairs should be marked as \"hotel guests only.\" the palapas spread farther apart & separated from the beach vendors selling cruise ship people chairs adjacent to the hotel.

The bathroom in my room was poorly cleaned. The shower had the previous guest hair on the floor and all over the drain cover, the shower head had soap scum all over it, and the cover to the shower handle was broken. There was hair from the previous guest on the sink and counter. The property lacked attention, the hotel is very dated. I ordered breakfast from the restaurant and it was served cold. I passed a Homeless man on the property my first night coming from my room while walking on the property. The staff was in plain clothes with no name tags so they blended in with the guest. I didn't feel safe walking to my room alone in building four at night which is in the very back of the hotel. The outdoor lighting is very poor on the property at night. I would not stay here ever again nor recommend this property. The only convenience is it's minutes from the airport. Most of the staff was not friendly.

Despite being run down, the hotel was very clean. The beach was very nice and also clean. We also enjoyed the pool area. It served its purpose as we were flying out the next day and it is next to the airport. I would not stay more than 1 night but in my younger years it would have been just fine. I would recommend eating somewhere else but overall I was pleasantly surprised as the hotel was a good value.

First never seemed to have clean towels. The shower was very hard to regulate the temperature it was either very hot or very cold. There was no where to hang wet towels. The staff was not very knowledgeable about the area when asked for recommendations as to any places to eat. It was clean but not a place I would go back to.

EBR was a good choice for our group. Close to downtown, nice pool and beach area with plenty of chairs. The bar and restaurant overlooked the beach. Food was good, rooms were clean and roomy with nice balcony views. Would definitely stay there again.

Our room was fine, typical motel room with small fridge. No microwaves anymore. Lovely view. Front desk staff were friendly. We did not see a lot of friendly after that except some beach workers. Staff in the sit down restaurant were very slow, don’t expect to see much of them, especially once your food arrives. Food is very plain and unimaginative. And expensive. I wouldn’t return here.

This is not a 4 star hotel. Beach is nice, but when cruise passengers arrive good luck getting a beach chair. Restaurant food is decent but service is understaffed and extremely slow! Waited 3 days for a clean beach towel. Many excuses. Dryer broke, waiting to receive from another resort to they don’t know why there are none. There were some very frustrating moments. Note. There are no elevators!

My husband and I spent 8 nights at the Emerald Beach Resort. The room was adequate and it was located at the beach which was our first priority. There is only a coffee maker and refrig in the room ( sadly no microwave to heat up food to cut down on the high prices of food in St. Thomas) There is a restaurant (high prices for all 3 meals and not so good food) and a place to buy coffee etc. until 2pm. If the above is all you want, then the place is great for you. However, we are used to walking to other hotels and restaurants and, believe it or not, there are none anywhere nearby. So, we took a taxi into town every night BUT it was costly. $9. a person to start and the price gets higher the further you go. So, each night we paid at least $36 for a taxi before we spent a cent on our meals. I would not return for that reason.

Truly loved my stay at Lindbergh Beach Resort - room is beautiful you can’t ask for more beach front location - all rooms Oceanside facing and the pool is beautiful too! Great water- I’m from Michigan and drank it the whole time better than home - Cafe hut is awesome the young handsome fella was on ittt - tip we’ll be treated well enjoy Island Time - bring aqua sock to go snorkel to the left of the beach versus fins float along and enjoy a taste of paradise! Thank you to all the staff front desk the friendly staff as you move about - I stayed 8 days and enjoyed staying at the resort so much most of those days there’s a lot to offer if you walk in to enjoy the place - you should - thank you Emerald Bay Beach Resort I’m back home in cold Michigan and missing it already - will go back for sure!

The room was great, clean, no complaints. The staff were all great. As others have said, the wait for food was so long. If a cruise ship was in, the wait was longer. The staff were all friendly and the bar was a fun place to hang. The beach was nice, some small rocks to navigate at the at waters edge. Beautiful spot. We had to cab it everywhere. It is close to airport and you do hear planes, but after the first day, you really don’t notice and they fly 7a to 7p maybe? Not all night.

Very friendly staff, room was great. My only suggestion would be a screen door on the porch to keep bugs out. The weather at night is perfect for open doors, property would save money on electricity as well. Not so sure about safety if doors were kept open at night. Just a thought. In general the hotel is very pleasant with a very convenient location.

The room was very nice and had terrific view of beautiful beach. The only thing we disliked regarding the room was no place to hang towels and sometimes they forgot to stick room with new towels and bath mat and coffee pods.
The food in restaurant was exceptionally good but it took over 1 1/2 hours to receive food. We ate breakfast and dinner there every day and it always took this long. It seemed they were understaffed.

I had to wait over 3 hrs to check in, i asked for just an extra half hour after check out time and was told no, I paid for a king size bed with a shower tub combo overlooking the beach. I did not get my king size bed I did not get my tub. Very disappointed in the old rooms and decor. There was not enough food options and nothing extra you can pay for her. They had a vending machine for snacks but if you didn't have the right change you were out of luck. Resort that they called themselves is more like a hotel not a resort. Nothing in walking distance to give you other options of eating choices, the food at the resort was not good and very overpriced. I don't mind paying for a good meal but was disappointed every time. All in all, very disappointed.

Loved the location and beach front room but the rooms need some serious updating on beds and showers. We got very little sleep the entire 5 nights we were there because the beds were cheap and hard as a rock (could feel springs). My husband has back problems and had the worst time sleeping. For the amount of money this resort makes they could at least upgrade their beds. As for the showers, there are no shower curtains so water soaked the bathroom and there was barely any water pressure which made for a hard time washing and conditioning my hair. I would stay here again but not until they at least upgrade the beds!! Staff was all nice and helpful and got us what we needed in a timely manner especially when we realized our room was not stocked with towels/washcloths!!! I will also add the check in process was LONG and SLOW!!!! Check in time is 4pm. We arrived around 4:30-4:45 to a lobby full of people and only 2 people checking people in. Took almost an hour just to get checked in only to not even have a room ready!! It was a little after 6pm before we even got to go to our room!!

The breakfast was delicious and MG was the best server at the restaurant. Unfortunately, the rest of the servers are not friendly nor in any kind of hurry to get your order and most of them dont smile or even greet you at the table. The bartenders are not friendly unless you're a regular. My Mahi sandwich during lunch was terrible, it was a mahi jerky. Tthe rice/peas are delicious. The drinks are watered down and this place automatically adds 18% gratuity.
The rooms look like they started updating them but it still needs more. Not enough drawer space and to many chairs. The reading lights dont work and the bathroom door automatically closes. Add a microwave! The bathroom is well lit and it looks like new.
The beach area, is rocky at points but beautiful.

The bartender lady is extremely rude and down right angry and does not belong working with the public. She is not capable of carrying the entire place alone and should not have to. While I understand her frustration and bad mood you should not take it out on the customers. The food was ok but after waiting almost 2 hours for it we were not exactly hungry anymore. The front desk ladies were nice and helped us in any way they could but the restaurant and bar are in desperate need of new management. This place has a ton of potential with the right person delegating operations. Even with the cons I would stay again just for the beach and pool area.
