This is a great hotel at a convenient location close to two subway/underground stations. Very walkable. Lots of shopping and dining options. Still very close to all the main attractions via the subway. The staff are very professional, very helpful. My room only had one problem: the bathroom would not extract the steam during showers, but opening the room window kept things manageable. Overall it is a very nice and secure hotel.

Could definitely recommend this hotel as it is very clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and it is quiet. The decor is a bit dated but makes no difference for me. The location is excellent as it has a subway station within 200m.

The Anatol Trend is a really nice hotel situated in a quiet street but very close to a busy shopping area packed with cafes and restaurants. The subway is only a few minutes walk away (both U3 and U6) from which all of the major attractions are easily accessible. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. A convenience store is very close by where you can get milk (not provided in the rooms) and snacks. The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful. Definitely recommend for a break in Vienna and for business travellers.

We came to Vienna to get some Christmas vibes and enjoy the Christmas markets. The Hotel Anatol is located pretty close to the center of Vienna and walkable distance to shopping street. Our room was comfortable, warm and clean, the only thing that I would mention if you are from USA, bring or buy an adapter for 120 v otherwise you will able to charge your device only in a bathroom. The staff is welcoming and friendly, a front desk works 24 hours and it wasn’t any problem to check out at 3.30 . Thank you team.

We stayed at the Austria Trend Hotel Anatol for 2 nights and had a very pleasant experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel was only 4 minutes walk from the metro station. Even though we walked around everywhere in Vienna it was very convenient being so close to the metro station for when we arrived from the airport and also the night we were leaving!
The same metro station is on a main shopping high street which leads to the museum quarter and then the centre of town, so if you like walking it is a simple and convenient route to do.
Although the hotel be slightly rough around the edges I have no complaints especially for the price!

Helpful staff at reception. Nice breakfast at a fair cost. Area is quiet and safe, our room was very quiet and facing the inside yard. My only issue would be the shower entry doors size. Not for everyone. Beer belly dudes may have an access issue. The hotel is close to the subway which brings you town center within 5-7 minutes. Overall, a very neat hotel option.

This was a brilliant hotel to stay in. Close to a great road for shopping, eating, and a short walk to the museum district and old town. Near a station to get around the city and further. Amazing friendly staff that made our visit even nicer! Clean, quiet, rooms with Air conditioning as well, and comfortable beds. Can’t recommend this place enough, especially being in a safe quiet area.

This simple hotel is ok. I find it convenient and walkable to shopping area, train station and we feel safe even we are going home late. It is clean and towels smells clean unlike other hotels. The housekeepers are doing a great job, making beds and cleaning the toilet every day. It is quiet. Staff are friendly. The only thiing we don’t like is the design of the bed headboard that can possibly hurt your head if you are not careful. But everything is fine. I will recommend it.

We ordered a room with a queen bed and got a room with two adjoining beds which is not comfortable when the beds also sink, I turned to the receptionist and said he would check my reservation, he did check and told me you are right, you will be replaced with either a maple or a bed today, during the day I contacted the reception several times and was constantly told I want it to be taken care of. Until the day of our departure, it was not taken care of. And so we stayed at the hotel for 5 nights in a bed not as we ordered. If we had known in advance that this would be the case, we would not have rented a room in this hotel. In addition to that, on our fifth day we arrived at the dining room at 8:45 a.m. Everything was almost Empty, vegetables, cheeses, breads, there was only one employee, when I asked her why there were no vegetables and omelets, she told me there was no one to prepare them. Really a big disappointment from the hotel.

Much better looking than in the photos, large room with large wardrobe and fridge in the room. travelled solo but lots of families in the hotel - ideal for those with babies as the room has a baby change table. came with a desk and sitting area. excellent area near shopping. bathroom works perfectly - shower is small but same as most euro hotels.

We stay for 2 days and after 6 days we returned and stay for another 3 nights!
The Room was not provided as in our previous stay, The sofa Bed was left as a Bed to be used,coffee machine missing, the TV was left in Arabic language,

The room was very clean every day and most importantly the air-condition worked great despite the great heat outside. One day I was greeted with a plate of fruit as a hotel gift.
Check-in and check-out were very quick. The hotel is in a good location especially for shopping.

Fantastic hotel. Great location near Zieglergasse U-Bahn (U3 orange) stop. Easy to get to main attractions even by walking. Generally a quiet street, with plenty of good restaurants in the immediate neighborhood. Hotel staff very friendly, good with English. Nice hotel breakfast as well. Highly recommended.

The staff was more than prepared to welcome and get us to our room. The room was more than enough to sustain us though our stay. The desk clerk was more than helpful in seeing that we had directions to get on to the next leg of our trip. The breakfast was excellent in quality, assortment of foods and in appearance. This was our third stay in this hotel and we can not wait to stay again.

Another great stay at this hotel

This is the third time i have stayed at this hotel. It is in a great position off of the main shopping street and within walking distance of the underground. It is not a flashy hotel but offers comfort and a great service. It is clean and has very comfortable beds. My only criticism would be the need to have to pay for coffee making facilities as an extra. I think this should be included. Overall however it represents great value for money and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend to others.

Hotel was clean, and the staffs very efficient. I want to point out the lady at the front desk, Ms. Martina S., she was very patient, help us out all, and her style of customer service beats above and beyond. If you happened to stay at this hotel, I sincerely hope you will encounter this lady, and get the same superb treatment as we did. Overall, hotel was clean, there's a supermarket \"Billa\" right up the street, and the metro is at every block that you'd walk. If I should visit Vienna again, I'd certainly stay at this hotel all over again.

The gentleman, Domenic, at the front desk was absolutely incredible. He was very knowledgeable about everything in Vienna. He explained exactly how to get anywhere we wanted to go. He was so patient and kind and we appreciated that so much. He recommended a couple of very good restaurants and made us reservations. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were spacious. We walked right from the hotel down to Hofburg and saw lots of tourist attractions. The subway is also very conveniently located from the hotel. The breakfast was not included but was reasonable for the assortment of fruit, yogurt, pastries, cappuccinos and teas that were offered. Again a big thank you to Dominic for making our trip to Vienna a very memorable one.

Comfortable, convenient and relatively inexpensive hotel. No beverage (tea,coffee, etc.) maker in the room. No restaurant or room service that we were made aware of. Slight problem with the plumbing(sink not draining well) which was not resolved while we were there. One rather abrupt receptionist. All in all not too bad.

A good hotel with excellent location and spacious room. It will be prefect with air con. Breakfast is quite boring and limited though not too expensive. Could easily buy excellent quality breakfast at Billa Supermarket with less than half the price! It is therefore it is in the interest of the hotel to improve on this. A kettle and some 3 in 1 coffee in the room costs 10 euros a day.

This hotel has a great location, it is just two stops away from downtown on the subway and close to a few restaurants and a commercial area -not a touristy area.
The room was clean, well prepared and the bathroom pretty big.
The staff is very generous and kind. I don't speak German, and they addressed me in English all the time very politely and helped me with everything I needed.
I strongly recommend this hotel to families or couples, or whoever wants to get to know the city better.

Two negatives first. No AC and expensive breakfast. It was hot the first two days so it was hard even with the fans. Location best. Walking distance to two large train stations and restaurants. Ten mins to town center. Grocery store across. Only thing is if u arrive on sat night like we did be prepared for things to be closed around so have your water handy. I'd stay there again for their location. Loved being in Vienna.

Should be nice, but no A/C or Laundry. Bad stay.

The hotel itself is good, clean and modern feeling. We would have been very happy with it, and given a higher rating, except for two things that we specifically looked for when we booked the hotel - which ruined our stay:

- A/C or Climate Control (as a heatwave was happening across Europe). The web page stated climate control, but when we checked in (and it was 38 degrees outside), they said that they didn't have it. We simply couldn't sleep as it was so hot, and with the window open it was very noisy (and still hot). We did not sleep for three nights.

- Laundry facilities. This was mid way through a three week European vacation, and we had planned to do a load of washing at the hotel. They didn't have laundry facilities as stated on the web page - just an expensive per item laundry service. This meant two taxi rides, and a half day out of our three day stay, to do laundry.

In addition - the TV in our room didn't show any of the English speaking channels!!! (our children's room did have these channels). We asked at reception, and they said they'd fix it the next day - but it was never fixed.

Would think a 3 star is more appropriate. to borrow a kettle need 5euro per day, need a cup of hot water need to pay 50 cents euro which is ridiculous for a 4 star hotel. Location is convenient, 3 minutes from metro and 5-10 minutes walk from main train station and within shopping street. Customer service staff is helpful though. Room size is small.
