The common areas were in poor condition, scruffy and dirty. The finish was not good and the fittings were mostly of low quality. The street outside was dirty with rubbish bins 10m from the door. Equipment in the fitness room was broken and the floor was dirty. The whole thing had a feel of being done on the cheap. Good points: The bed linen and bathroom were clean. The staff were friendly enough. I left early to an alternative place. Not a good experience.

We had a lovely stay—a small but comfortable hotel in a nice neighborhood away from the crowds. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a decent size, very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very modern, and the amenities were of a higher quality and greater variety. Air conditioning worked well in the midst of a hot few days. The room features a fridge and a safe. We had breakfast, which had a lot of options. The surrounding area was undergoing street construction, so there was some noise, but not at night. There are several nice restaurants and bars right in the neighborhood and very accessible to the Metro.

Below Average for price

We were on the ground level so we couldnt open the windows without people standing outside smoking. Also the bins were sat outside our room and stank. Reception staff was not friendly or helpful. Rooms were nicely renovated and beds were comfortable it was a nice area but i think the ground level was just a terrible level to be on. In the photos the two rooms we had were on both corners on the street level.

Perfect location in Madrid

Our stay was great, so much so that we’ve already rebooked another stay. The location is brilliant. Nestled in between Gran Via and Calle Arsenal for the shoppers and the shortest walk to Plaza Mayor and Mercado San Miguel and too many restaurants and cafes to count! Room had a soft queen bed, and a large bathroom, and very nice, polite and helpful staff.

Un Buen Hotel, cerca de todo en una calle tranquil

El hotel está en un lugar buenísimo, para los turistas que quieren estar cerca de todo pero en una calle tranquila. Nos gustó el estado general del hotel, la atención de las personas de recepción fue excelente, con muy buena disposición. Sin embargo, tenemos las siguientes observaciones y recomendaciones: 1. Tener una báscula en la habitación siempre resulta bueno para los que quieren revisar su peso o simplemente chequear el peso de la maleta o equipaje antes de salir al aeropuerto, es una pequeña inversión pero se justifica. 2. De las 3 noches que estuvimos en el hotel, a la segunda noche nos quitaron las cobijas, al llegar y acostarnos llamamos y el muchacho de la recepción nos indicó que nos las llevaría de inmediato, sin embargo, apareció luego con unas sábanas pero no cobijas, dijo que era verano y no se necesitaba. y que a esa hora no había como tener cobijas, pues... nos extrañó mucho que quitaran las cobijas sin preguntar y mucho más que no dejaran para que la recepción en la noche pudiera entregar en caso de no tener. Son puntos a mejorar.

The location of the hotel is perfect to visit the city center and main tourist atractions. It is sorrounded by restaurants, cafes and shops. The staff is super welcoming and helpful. Stylishly refurbished boutique hotel in a very central and convenient location for exploring Madrid. Good value for money. Very good breakfast and breakfast service. The only negatives are the noise of construction in the morning, the not-so-great insulation between the rooms, and the loud music in the corridor. Overall, a good experience.

I was very pleased with this hotel and would definitely stay here again. The rooms are decorated in a very cool Art Deco style, and are quite spacious. Air conditioner worked, this was important as it was 36F when we were there! Everything seemed new and clean. Even all the small details were there; wonderful oversized fresh towels, a great complimentary nespresso machine in each room, and just really cool finishings in the room design. Front desk was very helpful, staffed 24h , they were a good resource for ordering a taxi, helping with dinner resos etc. Location was great too- about a 2 minute walk to the main plaza. I would highly recommend staying here and in fact I thought it was great value. Would stay here again.

The property has a great location, the rooms are new and very clean, the carpet of the hallway to the rooms could use some cleaning, on the second floor hallway, covered with a white sheet, there was a cart with little bottes of soap and shower stuff, it would be more appealing if cart is removed from hallway. Great place!

The staff made a mistake with out booking so the upgraded us to another place within their chain. They organised a taxi to take us there and the second place was even better than the one we booked. I was very impressed and pleased and I think it was great value for money. The outside of the place looked a big rustic but the inside was impecable.

A new hotel - the star of Romantic Madrid

One of the best hotels in Madrid.
The stuff took care for all of our needs, breakfast was really tasty and with variety of foods.
Our room was designed in such a unique way, the bed was comfortable and the shower - super fun.
The hotel located at the heart of the scene, 5 minutes walk from Puerta del Sol & Gran Via.
The street is quite but also full of life at the evening, with little pubs, restaurants and Churos Chocolate place :)

In the center of Madrid

The location of this hotel is great. It's on a side street with a short walk to major streets. There were a few small restaurants and bars near-by. Rooms are typical, small European / NYC, types. Well appointed with coffee maker and mini-bar. It was still under renovation when we were there so the Spa was not open yet. I would recommend this hotel if you only plan to sleep in it. We will stay here again if we go back to Madrid.

Staff at the soho were very helpful and cheerful and were there on hand for any help needed. Couldn’t fault the place at all with very comfortable and clean beds. Would definitely recommend the soho Boutique opera and spa

Bra beliggenhet, helt ok hotel

Beliggenheten er helt ypperlig, rommene er store og fine og sengen var helt grei. Rommene er dog noe slitte og vi savnet et helspeil på rommet. Frokosten er ikke verdt å betale for. Lite utvalg og lite mat, og kaffemaskinen var et kapittel for seg selv. Belag deg på kø for å få en kopp.

Men gjevnt over var hotellet helt ok for en storbytur og beliggenheten var som sagt suveren.

Hotel ubicado en zona céntrica por lo que es muy fácil llegar a todos los puntos de interés. Al llegar nos asignaron una habitación “adaptada”, la cual tenía un baño bastante incómodo ya que no tenía cortinas/mampara en la ducha y el lavabo era pequeño. Afortunadamente nos cambiaron de habitación al día siguiente sin problema.
La habitación a la que nos cambiaron cumplió con nuestras expectativas. Hay café en cápsulas disponible durante la estadía.
El personal de recepción ha sido muy amable en todo momento.
