This place is unique and beautiful. We have stayed here a number of times in different rooms. The suites weren’t available when we booked, so ended up with the Tiny Double Room.
As always, the room was immaculate and so well appointed. This room is great value for money and not tiny at all in my opinion.

The hotel was not as expected when booked. There was no indication of the \"no staff do it yourself \" approach. The bed was far too soft and we did not sleep well, too close to the edge and we rolled off! The floor was dusty, dust clinging to our socks, the full length mirror was dirty, possibly polish not wiped off? The designer shower was completely impractical, full extended it was almost impossible to wash ones hair, a tall person would fail completely. I understand what you are seeking to achieve with the \"eco\" approach, it is not for everyone especially at the cost of comfort - better you inform customers in your brochure. It all smacks at putting a higher % profit first. Disappointed , Location was the only positive. We will not be booking again albeit we visit Cheltenham regularly. 4.5/10

Stayed at the Beaumont for an overnight with our three year old daughter. It was a bit of a gamble not having a restaurant or bar, but we knew this in advance. It was utterly fantastic! Our room was large, beautiful, well appointed and spotlessly clean. The communal lounge areas were the same. Self check-in was a breeze, and there was plenty of parking on site. The nearest shops, pubs and restaurants are a few minutes walk away, and the centre of Cheltenham is 20 mins or so at a pleasant amble. Would come back here again without a seconds hesitation.

Clean and tub was big. Needs tub stopper replaced in Hillside room. It is gross & hard to remove with tub of full of water. Hard to lower room temperature. Extra heater and air conditioner stored in room made it feel cluttered. Overall the cleanliness and tub were difference makers after a long day of exploring the Cotswolds.

Hotel was great. Nice and clean. No fuss to checkin. However, I had booked the hotel to use the charger for my electric car, and it wasn’t working. This made me waste time the following day and go out for several miles to charge the car.

The property had an EV Charger. This took 30 minutes including a call to the help desk to get it to work. It was very cold and v badly lit. There is no reception or human contact. The room whilst clean had no heating on and according to the radiator was 18 degrees C when I turned it on. The floor was not carpeted so the room was extremely cold and I had to wear socks in bed all night!! No breakfast. Was really no better than an expensive Travelodge. Would not stay again.

What a unique experience for us. A beautiful large house that has been converted into rooms and suites of varying sizes. Located in a wonderful area the property is maintained to a very high standard, with an exceptional standard of cleanliness. There are lovely common areas including a breakfast lounge, study with an honor system bar, and grounds that include grassed areas and a childrens' play set. Parking is plentiful within the property walls. We are two American seniors who loved our stay here during our journey around the UK. Thank you

The outside and the common rooms were beautiful. The room was on lower floor, basement, for the price, unacceptable. The shower leaked all over the floor and into the hallway. We have been staying in BNB all on the Cotswold trail and this was the MOST expensive, however the most disappointing.

The Africa room was amazing, everything was as good as anticipated. The bed was bigger than expected and the decor was top notch. One wall light bulb had gone (to the right of the mirror) but that didn't make any difference to our stay.

I paid a lot of money for this room and it was crammed in the eaves of the building. The roof was so low that I couldn't even stand at the sink. The room was crammed with things like a portable airconditioner because clearly there was no other way of controlling temperature up in the roof. The book in process was from an awful automated machine, so impersonal. The electric vehicle charging point, was grossly overpriced and charged me £33.30 for 12kw of charge

Perfect hotel to stay in Cheltenham
Well located hotel with easy access to the town centre. The rooms were recently refurbished and were very pleasant to stay in with comfortable beds.
The booking was excellent and Oliver and Fiona helping in anyway they could. Overall a very nice experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend and indeed stay again when we are next in Cheltenham.

So pleased to discover this hotel was still open so that I could attend a medical appointment. Parking was easy, automatic check in was easy and their was adequate Covid awareness.
My room was lovely and clean and comfortable..no food available but plenty of takeaways on the high street 5 minutes walk. Complementary breakfast of yogurt, muffins and hot drinks. Very pleased and would use again.

We love boutique stays and this place looked to fit the bill, how wrong we was! We stayed in the Out of Africa room and it looked lovely,all though when you look closely it could do with some touch ups as looking tired. The rest of the place looks tired and there was little children’s toys chucked in big heaps in every room, we now understand the manager is a single mother who clearly looks to be struggling to separate work and home life!! We heard children shouting and singing till gone 10pm and there was also a Christmas tree still up what just shows the place is not being looked after. The breakfast was cold and no coffee top ups or staff to ask, just the lady who was not there or attentive and a young child playing adjacent to the breakfast room!! I agree with another reviewer who said this is very amateurish and disappointing but I think it would only be fair for paying customers to remove the Selling point of Boutique and luxury and just have it as a family B & B on a budget.

Great hotel. The honesty bar was a breath of fresh air even though we did not use it I just thought it was typical if this hotel to be so trusting. The Africa room we stayed in did the trick it really surprised my wife after a day at Longleat. Breakfast was also great plenty of choice and staffed really well.

Advantageous if you are around to explore as its close to the centre. Must be ideal with a group to relax and enjoy the hotel. - it feels like your in a home free to roam and nobody is around.

My room was smaller than i expected and not really a place to sit and use the laptop - the lounge had toys on the floor late at night and the conservatory did not have hot water to make a tea during the night or day but offered tea bags. you have to call management at night as nobody is at the desk but for hot water facilities it seemed drastic. There is no dinner available or lunch so you will need to drive or walk 20 minutes or order in.
The walls were thin i could hear another room and a constant noise outside so it was hard to sleep. The remote control in the room was dirty - i dont want to know what it was! - it was not from the mini bar.
Breakfast on show was limited but it could be as no guests were around . i was not greeted or informed by staff who was cleaning tables before or after he finished -i wasnt told what was available to order or where to sit.! i forgot breakfast had not been included but was not even offered it.
at checkout i was told it was £10 extra - there was no hot food on display or a menu to choose on the spot
