Overall, the resort it’s in good location with good service and good entertainment, separate pools for adults and children. Food is ok and more Mexican dishes than American.
They gave us wrong room for 3 nights which was disappointing, when we complained they moved us to room we paid for it.

The hotel was well maintained and clean. The food was good. They had a great little coffee bar where the lattes were excellent. The hotel grounds were attractive. The staff was friendly and helpful. Each seemed to be willing to help with learning Spanish.

Our stay overlapped the fallout from El Mencho’s attempted capture and death. While the city burned, the staff still put on brave faces and cared for guests as though nothing was going on. Many could not go home that night. Most worked long hours to cover for others who could not get to work because curfews held them in place. Their commitment and strength was amazing.

The nightly “shows” was a d.j playing music. Food was okay at best and only 1 reservation restaurant was open all week and food was not good so buffet for dinner every night. Cleaning staff often forgot to leave things like hand soap or hand towels if the room got cleaned at all.

Room was very clean. We did have problems with electricity. It popped off twice. Second time was in night. Only outlets quit. Which did not allow my hearing aids to charge. We were moved to a different room and were very good about helping us move. The person that took care of luggage and ordered taxis for our group was very helpful and friendly.

Staff defined the hotel name, they all were fun spirited and friendly.
Resort was well designed, having both adult only and families with children pools. Dining experiences were great.
Activity choices were plenty.
The only dissapointment was our room; yes it was clean, however very minimally furnished. No dresser, no rack to hang bathing suits, no mini fridge. For the price, providing these basic necessities for guests would not be a stretch. Improve this and you would have a 5 star hotel.

Very friendly staff, good food, always got loungers and umbrellas on the beach with lots of staff delivering drinks and food (tip them 20-40 pesos for 3 people). This is a smaller hotel with only 1 al a carte restaurant 1, no kids club, and no big nightly entertainment. Most guests were middle-aged Canadians like us and very few kids, which was the quiet, relaxed atmosphere we desired.

Staff are courteous. Room has a plenty of space and smart Tv is a big plus. Four restaurants, pizza, ice cream and coffee bar make every day special. Too many adult zones and adult pools which is good for adults, but not for families with middle aged kids. So we swim in the sea most of the time.

Overall a really good experience. Medium size hotel, nice beach, nice swimming pools, good food, good drinks, most of the waiters offered good service, housekeeper really nice. The activities' staff had great attitude. Hotel is in a good area, attractions nearby. Specialty restaurant, Frida, gave us a nice surprise dessert for our anniversary.

Friendly, fun hotel that was extremely clean with fantastic food, amazing amenities, drinks, and truly outstanding staff. Honestly, the only complaint I can make is that the pillows were much too soft.
From the lobby’s fresh-made waffles and on-demand specialty coffees to the constant activities (always clearly listed), we felt very safe here and our kids absolutely loved everything. The kids’ zone staff were incredible. We stayed over Christmas and the hotel went all out — including Santa and the Grinch arriving on the beach and treats for the kids. It was such a special experience.
The staff here are beyond friendly. Huge shout-outs to the bar staff — Double Double, Kalusha, and Miguel. Miguel didn’t even need me to order; he saw me and immediately started making my vodka water. The staff genuinely get to know their guests and truly care. Lia made amazing smoothies, waffles, and ice cream, and she was so wonderful with the kids.
There’s a great shallow pool area for kids, with ledges where parents can sit in the water. There is also an adults-only area, which we didn’t get to explore much, but it looked fantastic. The resort has a beautiful pier with a swing — perfect for activities, evening walks, and photos.
They offer poolside and beachside cabanas with adjustable covers to block the sun. There are awesome bars and a beach dance area with live bands and even a violinist. Lunch includes fresh-made pizza you can grab and go, which was very convenient.

I am very disappointed in this hotel. The room is horrible. The AC was so loud I couldn’t sleep and it didn’t cool the room adequately. The temperature stayed at 24 degrees! We had 3 guests and only were given two towels for the shower no face cloths. The music by the pool was obnoxious. There are not enough loungers by the pool.. and what few there were, had people’s things strewn all over them so you couldn’t use them. I stayed only 1 night and checked in somewhere else the next day.

Also there were Pigeons everywhere including inside the restaurants
ATM on site didn’t work. Hotel would not give me a refund for two nights that I didn’t stay. I immediately requested a partial refund only an hour after I checked in and was told I had to contact Expedia. Expedia took 24 hours to get back to me only to tell me the hotel refused a refund. Save yourself a ruined trip and go somewhere else.

El hotel mas sobrevalorado de la vida. Pagué 5mil pesos por noche por un hotel de 2 estrellas. Por ese precio encuentras hoteles de verdad de 5 estrellas. Es mas, por 2mil pesos más puedes pagar un hotel de lujo en Punta de Mita. El aire acondicionado no enfriaba nada. Nos dieron la habitacion con el baño sucio. La comida del todo incluido super x. La habitacion dividida por una puertita chafa.

Much much better than expected! The location was great, and the property itself was spacious with plenty to enjoy. There was a nice variety of food options, including morning smoothies and ice cream, which was a hit. The entertainment was fun, and the pools were thoughtfully designed— a small kiddie pool, a larger family pool, and two adults-only pools.

Our room was quite large and offered a fantastic view of the beach and ocean. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, and the on-site coffee café was amazing.

Would absolutely love to come back again!

The buffet food selections were good and staff were very helpful in particular the wait staff around the pools and buffets. A la carte selection is limited. The view from the resort is beautiful. There are many options off the resort to walk to or take a taxi too. There is easy access to boat excursions. Evening entertainment was limited most nights to a techno DJ. However there was a fire show one night and a live band without outdoor buffet and flea market that was awesome. I liked that there was the option for a pool for families and pools for adults only along a warmer pool and a hot tub. If you’re a nighthawk or early bird you won’t find too much food or beverages accessible. Loved the cabana set ups in the pool area and then more the the loungers and umbrellas closer to the beach.

The property itself is very well maintained. The tower is the referbished while the 2 side wings are being upgraded. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Beach beautiful and clean. Food was delicious but often was like warm. I like it hot! Selection very good. The lobby area was beautiful with a wonderful cool breeze we loved. The adult bar and pool area was a lot of fun!! Their serloin steak burger was fantastic. Events changed daily and was wonderful. Just the older rooms were tired. I'd do it again!!

After checking the reviews for all the properties in our price range in PVR we settled on this one. Family of 4 with 2 teenage kids. Beach was great and water swimmable compared to others along the bay. You can walk for hours along the beach too! Paddleboarding and kayaking available for free. There are not any extravagant nightly shows. Music is playing pretty much all day with it getting louder around 830pm. Depending on where your room is located, I can see that noise may be an issue when trying to sleep. Definitely bring ear plugs just in case. We were in the tower and didn't find the music bothersome. Some have stated that the food options weren't great. We didn't have a problem finding something to eat everyday. The woodfired pizza is handy as you don't need to go into a restaurant to get it. We visted both a la cartes. Azul was the best one and we went there twice. Teenager from our group was sick his first night there and my daughter was sick our last night there. Assuming food was the culprit...You do have to get up early to claim a cabana. Pool water temps were perfect! Drink service around the pool was fantastic. Rooms are basic but clean and have everything you need except a microwave. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Location is close to shopping and airport. We used Uber everywhere and our friends used taxi. Sometimes the taxi was cheaper than the uber. I'm sure I'm forgetting something but would visit again!

Fantastic hotel, we loved that it was pet-friendly, our dog loved to walk out the pedestrian entrance. Beautiful clean and well-furnished room (plenty of space for our travel crib), wonderful staff, clean pool and facilities. My wife is celiac and the restaurant team took amazing care of her (especially Beatriz & Raul :) even homemade gluten-free brownies and bread! We were blown away, can't wait to come back. Muchas gracias a todos!

Staff are friendly and cleaning ladies do a good job. We changed rooms , no problem, because of a crying baby. First room had a door to separate the two rooms. Also first room had a cracked sink and toilet. Second room was much better. No door for adjoining rooms. Much quieter. Plenty of variety for food. If you don’t see shrimp or bacon, you can ask, they probably have some. Good variety on entertainment. Activities staff are super friendly and add a lot of fun. Beautiful sunsets!

Just had the BEST time at the friendly! Staff was super nice, drinks were great, rooms were clean and air conditioned, plenty of comfy spots to relax, lots of pool/hot tub options, right on the beach, and some decent options for food! There are two restaurants where you need to get reservations the day before and it is very worth it! Music most nights on a dance floor which is super fun. Would highly recommend this place to others for an all-inclusive experience!

Well if your a smoker than you would probably enjoy this hotel! The rules here are constantly being broken depending on who you are! We are non-smokers and just smoked for 2 weeks straight! Not happy ! People are smoking on the beach and throwing their butts in the sand and the staff does NOTHING!!! Even in the so called adult only area they were smoking. The staff does nothing! Get rid of the form you have people sign upon arrival about YOUR RULES because it means NAda! It’s a complete joke! We will be moving on to other hotels going forward ! Oh and get rid of that loud music at the beach nobody enjoys!!! Adios!

1. Walkin shower had large gap at bottom of door so the bathroom floor was very wet every time after showering.

2. Sewer gases came up from bathroom sink drain.

3. The ajoining rooms had no privacy. Conversations and sounds came in very clearly through the hollow ajoining door.

4. Food was the same every day. Beef and pork were tough.

5. Birds were in the restaurants and eating uncovered food on buffet and on leftovers on plates,

6. Lounge beds were saved and unused most of day while people spent time in the pool or on the beach.

Ignore the bad reviews if you are someone who is easy-going and wants to have good service and a great beachfront location.

I travelled with my three year-old and we had a great time! The waiters are so quick to bring you drinks right to you on the beach, most of the vacationers are over 60, which I love because a lot of of them have great vibes and are there for a good time! Lots of locals as well!

We had a great time and I'm so glad we didn't listen to the negative reviews.

My only downfall is the buffet is quite minimal and there aren't many food options… That's my biggest complaint. The rooms are super basic as well, but the outside pool and beach area were so great! It's a smaller resort so you get to know everybody really quickly which I loved.

Friendly Fun Hotel it's small but makes you feel you're at home. Hotel needs a HUGE remodel in the restaurant area, bedrooms and exterior. All the rooms have old damaged restrooms, leaking faucets ,cracked, toilet bowl. The restaurant dust and rust all over, old cups, dosheswear that needs to be trashed and they still keep using it. The food, the worst you could imagine. Not sure was is called all inclusive is is not worth it. Clearly a rip-off. 1st and last time I'll be visiting this location.

The main thing, at this resort, I didn’t like was that food in the buffet was always luke warm and the pizza was always cold even slices near the bulb. Other guests I talked to also noticed this so they would get food made fresh at the grill. However I loved the taco restaurant upstairs by the lobby and the outdoor bbqs were great. The oil and vinegar containers on the table needed to be cleaned more often.

They had the best margaritas that I’ve had at any resort and I loved warm adult pool temperature. There are lots of shady bed spots if you prefer not to get as much sun.

No real card playing tables available… everyone made due with the high long tables in the lobby bar but it was very noisy there at night as sounds echoed.
The coffee bar and pastries were great !
The staff is very friendly.

Everyone in our group had a great time at the resort. Clean rooms, great drinks at the bar and right on the beach. The only thing I wish was that the food was better.

We loved our time here but they could change a couple things. They have no place to play cards and the main area is so noisy chairs and voices echo and are almost unbearable. The food was good, taco restaurant was Awsome. The barbecues were well done, had delicious fish one night, another a fiesta which was great. Didn’t try the specialty restaurants. Found it hard to know how to book these. We were there for 10 days and enjoyed our holliday
