A small resort that was everything our family needed. Despite being located right off the main road, the property is a beautiful oasis. All 4 of us, including two boys (12 & 15), loved the buffet and pool. A special shout-out to David and Angel for keeping us full of yummy, frozen drinks. The beach is quick and easy to get to, and fantastic for those who love beach walking, swimming, or just sitting and people-watching. Our room was on an upper level, with a high ceiling. It took us a night to get used to the sound of the AC, but appeciated the comfort it provided. We loved the balcony, even though it's only (just) big enough for two, as the flowers and mature trees are really lovely. There are restaurants and stores (including Walmart) within walking distance. The marina, as well, is close. We only ventured downtown twice and it was very easy to catch an Uber from the front entrance of the hotel and took 10-15 minutes. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone, with or without kids, who wants a truly laid-back experience.

Was disappointed that my hair brush went missing. I understand that we and the staff were on lock down due to the car fires cartel business. I think the hotel should have stepped up and provided those products.
The most disheartening was we were charged 100 dollars us to stay another hour after check out, with our flight being postponed.
It was a good location.
Eric and Darnell were fantastic by the pool.

Old property. Staring old white folks. Tired food. Hit or miss staff. Too hard to get basic stuff. The pool area made me want to flip out! There were more people saving chairs than in them. I'm just trying to tan!! Will never again. Makes me hesitant of other all inclusive. The energy in the room sucked. Oh yeah, and breakfast was terrible and possibly one of the worst burgers I've ever had. All of this was ONE night. I immediately fled back to zona romantica.

There was a couple in a room btw my girlfriends and mine with one other room which had 2 ladies in our hallway section. 4 of the 10 nights were very disruptive . First time loud talking and loud shoving of furniture with bangs against the wall. 2nd time woman was screaming loudly and man hollering I called the front desk and they sent security who talked to the couple . We felt frightened including the two ladies . The third and fourth times included loud shoving of furniture . The 4 th time I was awakened at 11 pm I phoned the front desk and she said she would talk with them. Than at 3 am again I was awakened and she said she would talk to them. Nothing was done to this abusive man and battered woman. Talking did not change the behavior . If this man was abusive to their staff would it have been tolerated? It appears that nothing is done to an abuse and disruptive person at this resort . We will not be back.

Good location. Lots of disturbance from people staying in the room next to us. Internet kept disconnecting ( internet in some sections of the hotel worked better than the other). No elevator. Staffs were friendly. Housekeeping did a great job. Food was adequate.

The hotel website states the rooms have coffee makers. Ours did not and when I asked they told me only superior rooms have coffee makers.
The food at the buffet was mediocre to bad. You were made to wait in line for longer than necessary to be seated. Two of the times we were seated at a table near where the line forms. Our table butted up against a half wall and people sat on the wall while waiting for a table. Our table was only a few inches lower than the wall so you can only imagine what our view was.
We did not make reservations in time to eat at the non-buffet restaurant because reservations are made the day you want to dine. Bookings start at 7 am and by 9 am they were full.
I ate once at the snackbar. The burgers and hot dogs are precooked, sitting out. When you order they reheat them on the griddle. After being served I tasted some fries and they were cold. I noticed he had just dumped a hot batch of fries in the pan so I told him my fries were cold. He took my plate, dumped my cold fries into the pan of hot and cold fries and then put hot fries on my plate. Did I say that I had eaten some of the fries? How disgusting.

Selected this for a one night stay before we had another reservation in Punta de Mita. It was exactly what we had hoped for: good pool, friendly staff, easy to get to from the airport. It was right on the main road, short walk to the beach, but felt secluded and quiet. The beach was a 5 min walk or they have a shuttle that runs every 15 mins. Was not overcrowded. Mostly an older crowd so our kids 6 and 8 had stood out a bit, but loved the staff and pool and buffet. Room was small and dated, but for one night was totally adequate. Might have felt small if we had stayed 3+ days. Food was a good selection, curious to see how much the buffet would have varied for a longer stay. Checkout late/after 12 is $$$ to stick around the pool so we left on time (not ideal if you have a later flight). Loved how the hotel felt Mexican, and not generic \"could be anywhere\" hotel.

The hotel is definitely Mexican Charm. Our room was clean, plenty of hot water for showering, daily maid service and comfortable bed. The only down side in the room we had was you could hear some road noise now and again and the fan for the ac unit was a bit loud. The staff is absolutely wonderful and service was excellent. The food was not 5 Star, but you could find something at each meal to eat. We were able to find chairs by the pool each day and if you were having trouble finding one a staff member would help find one for you. We would definitely stay at this resort again.

The only change I would like to see happen is another set of stairs put in at the other end of the pool. The majority of guests are a little older or actually seniors and having to walk all round the wet decking to get to the stairs is not safe.

First off the food was horrible, we actually stayed there 7 years ago the food ws good then but they have made cut backs and its a disaster. They made us pay 600 pesos becuae we lost our room key on the beach, and at 11:30 at night made us move to another room, and it was quite far away, and no staff even helped us. Last time we were there, thay had great entertainment at night in the form of some great musicians, this time the music was so bad we actuuly left the premises. Once again, another cut back. Ryding their coat tails. Obviously, we would NEVER go back there, the place is sickening, my job now is to get the word out there as best I can, to safe people for not getting ripped ogg completey as we were!

The pool area and the grounds are very nice. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food is only OKAY…. Too much of the same foods. Either bland or too spicy. They served pasta with no cheese and Mexican food at every meal. We ended up eating dinner out a lot of nights. The rooms are dated, which is fine but ours smelled very musty.

I was here with my 8,12, and 20 year old children. The price was way lower than any other all-inclusive in PV, so this isn't a luxury place but a really good value. My kids loved it; outstanding service in the restaurant and at the pool. The only downside was on the last day; we had a late afternoon flight and they wanted to charge us $70/person to go sit by the pool after checkout which left a sour taste in my mouth.

The room was very nice. I had a hard time getting hot water from the shower but i figured it out. The staff was very nice snd friendly to me. I do wish the snack bar had tacos but the hotdogs were good. The buffet food was either too spicy or kindof bland for me. One of the fish dishes i tried tasted like dirty aquarium. Both times I tried it but my friends really liked thr buffet. I do recommend this place for the cost and location it was very good.

Older building, rooms, and specifically the bathroom and shower area could benefit from an upgrade. The room smelled damp and humid. Staff switched our room to one that did not smell humid. The staff was amazing and friendly. Food was ok many needed better flavor as some were flavorless. Our friend ordered an octopus and it was hard & chewy like a gummy bear.

It’s old. So. “Traditional”. The “timeshare” type presentation is a thing. So decide for yourself. Communication isn’t the best. We asked for late check out a few times and then was told no and then when we went to check out at noon they said “ you can stay in one room (we had two) until one”. Let’s all be on the same page. It’s frustrating.

First room was on 3 rd floor, with no wifi.
Second room had the worst mold smell ever, plus shower drain was clogged and flooded the room, the safe was broken and the AC cut out
They charged me an extra $450. USD to move to another room
3rd room was nicer.
Food was recycled , if we had it one night we ate it incorporated into other dishes for a couple days after.
The beach was awful, a small strip down an ally where you are accosted by at least 30 different venders, the water was so rough there I tried to swim, got knocked down and couldn’t get back up without two strangers help
The pool was ok first thing in the morning but by noon it was a human cess pool, crap that looked like vomit floating on the surface and when we swam clumps of human hair would get caught up in our fingers, just GROSS!
I’m typing on my iPad but I am going to complain to Expedia.ca and I have pics on my phone to back it up.
Also False advertising, was told there’s a games room with pool table etc. NOT, also a weight/ exercise room …does not exist, it’s a lie,
I am so disappointed, this was a very important trip and it was ruined by a shoddy outdated dilapidated place.
The final straw was the last day, I had a put in a request the night before for a porter to help with our bags…we waited and waited , finally struggled with them ourselves ( two little old ladies) up and down stairs etc….
Terrible service, would Never recommend to anyone I liked.

WiFi is weak in the rooms. They refilled the liquor bottles and I suspect water added. They reuse the plastic drink cups and I saw the staff giving the a quick rinse. Bring your own cup. Food was okay. Overall for the price it wasn’t bad. Staff was excellent

Lots of Mexican families staying there so the stuff speaks mostly Spanish, be prepared to use lots of google translator if your requests are complex. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for something affordable and want to experience an authentic Mexican hacienda.

The staff are awesome! Very helpful. I had just had surgery and couldn't shower so they moved us to a room with a tub. The AC wasn't working properly in the first room but worked wein the second room. All staff were friendly, courteous, and helping.
