This property is old and not updated in anyway. They use an ancient key system rather than the new pass card, which is also awkward. Was highly oriented towards pets which served us well. We enjoyed the food festival next-door.

It was great! Location perfect as we were next door to the Food Park. Just a few minutes to airport as well. They made our dog feel special, and gave us doggy bags. They also had treats for purchase.
Rooms are very basic, no hair dryer but the bed was very comfortable and room was quiet!

Little green oasis in the middle of Puerto Vallarta. Great for people travelling with a dog. Only complaint is that the place is a little worn out in places, but price reflects this. Great little cafe on site. All staff are very helpful.

Nice gated hotel with plenty of restaurants and shops around it. It was nice to be able to park our car onsite. The garden and pool area was our favorite part along with the in house breakfast restaurant. The rooms were spacious and bed was comfortable. The one area of improvement would be the bathroom felt old and dark which created the illusion of it not being clean or tidy. Nothing that would stop us from staying here again. Overall it was a nice stay.

Have been here before snd was happy to return, even if only for the one night. Place is comfortable, gated, 24 hour desk. Bed was quite comfortable, between the fan and the AC, we were happy.

It is a pet friendly hotel, we don't have pets, so were not crazy about the barking. But we knew ahead of time, it is advertised as such. Yeah, sometimes doors don't quite seal, or screens in windows or sliders don't meet, if they are there at all. But that's common and doesn't bother us.

One word of warning: the café, serving breakfast and lunch, and independent of the hotel, often has trouble with their card readers. So make sure to have enough cash for payment, just in case.

For a \"pet friendly\" hotel this place is not very pet friendly. No dogs allowed in the pool area, even on leash. What are you supposed to do with your dog if you want to use the pool? Room was also very in need of a remodel.

Just stayed for a night before heading to La Penita, only picked this place because it’s dog friendly, room was clean, bed was comfy, no coffee available in the morning had to walk about 4 blocks to an Oxxo.
It looks like it once was a nice hotel and probably will be again as they seem to be upgrading the pool and rooms.
In the day there’s a food court next door, and apparently the hotel restaurant does open at some point but not for early coffee.
We will stay on our return, so now we know what to expect!

Stayed 2 wks. The pool and the size of our room was great. Security gate was a pleasant surprise. The location suited our needs as we like to walk but no elevators and not being close to downtown may not work for some. They allow dogs but we never noticed an issue or problem. Soriana grocery mall is a 5 min walk and has everything you'll need as there is no pool side bar. Buy a rotisserie chicken along the mall and get a pedicure at Cece's.

This is an old style condo complex doing mainly short term rentals now. I have been staying here for a day or two at a time for years. They have put a lot of effort into bringing the maintenance up to date. From what I can tell it caters to an older crowd or young family’s It’s not a happening place which in my opinion is a plus.

The hotel is incredibly basic. I would only stay here as a last resort or if you’re looking for an economical option. The amenities listed are not accurate at all. I booked for four adults and paid the additional fee to have 4 people. The 2 single beds in our room were not made up for us, and when we asked for bedding they did not have enough and told us the cleaners would bring blankets tomorrow (we’re only here for 1 night). The bathroom is dirty and the wifi doesn’t work. It’s fine for one night but I would not book a stay for any longer.

Check your reward benefits, hotel might not comply

The hotel is ok, we liked the fact it is pet friendly, even though we were not traveling with pets this time. However, the hotel did not honor booking benefits. For example, they only provided free breakfast for adults, but we had to pay for children's breakfast, and we had a two-hour late check out \"guaranteed\" that wasn't honored either.

Best thing I can say was that the grounds were very nice, location was convenient and that it served its purpose as we barely stayed in the place. I was mad that the website shows as if you are booking a 2 bedroom if you go by the pictures... I got a Superior Suite as there were 4 of us... it was a 1 double bed room with hard sofas to sleep in... only 2 towels in the room and no linen for the sofas... when I called to ask about them they made me go get the towels and linen at the front desk. it was nice that kids Wife and I were together in the same room so i say it served its purpose but definitely not made for comfort.

Grounds were fantastic. Pool was well used and cleaned daily. Condition of rooms need to be updated somewhat. Room 519 was noisy with people up in room 525. Once we mentioned to reception things got better. We opted out of a suite due to price structure.Location was good.

I was given the worst room in the hotel, not even a chair to sit in, three bare walls, no balcony, no luggage holder so on the floor, no dresser, no safe, overlooking parking and highway and night lit tennis courts, seventy steps up to my room (I’m 70 years old), depressing (#231..have it banned) so I complained and I got a wonderful room. Grounds are beautiful, pool is chilly (how I like it) Beside Food Park! Excellent choices here. Friendly staff.

I really liked this place

Check in & out was slow. Actually waited two hours for room to be ready. Other than that, the stay was very nice. I’d go back again. I just wouldn’t expect the room to be ready at 3p as was posted. Also, I had to pay 220 pesos per day for my yorkie to be there. I didn’t see that on the web page when I booked. The room, pool, landscaping was quite enjoyable, but the staff were over the top friendly, helpful, & generous.

We really enjoyed our stay. Not as extravagant a a beachfront resort but an inexpensive place to stay in a great area and near the beach. Beside the the bug bites and the staff that was somewhat paranoid, I would return.

We love staying here. Stayed here on overnights to PV for years with our dog as it is so dog friendly. Pool is big. Staff are great. Lots of easy parking. We were excited to see the restaurant food has greatly improved but we’re very disappointed to find that our breakfast included option we booked for the first time only meant coffee, orange juice, small fruit plate and 3 very small heels of bread with jam. I wasn’t allowed to substitute tea as I don’t drink coffee. Of course then we had to pay for a real breakfast. False advertising! Very disappointing.

This is a wonderful place for pets. They have a dog park and really cater to dogs. They have a lovely large pool. Rooms are spacious and clean. Very quiet. We had breakfast at the restaurant and food has really improved. Lots of great secure parking.

Don’t know if the hotel or Expedia was responsible but at checkin we were told only one room was reserved when in fact we booked two rooms through Expedia. The hotel told us that we would have to wait to see if another room would become available. We were not prepared to do this and instead checked into another hotel. We took a hit either from this hotel or Expedia.

All of the front desk,restaurant,and maid staff were nice and helpful with the exception of one woman with a not so simpatico attitude at the front desk.No ice available,breakfast only meal available,and loud guests who were very loud and woke me 3 nights were the negatives.It is hotel that allows cats,so that is the main reason I stayed there.The 3 star rating is accurate.
