Bed only - we didn’t have breakfast, but it looked great. Beautiful corner room with view of the Main Street - very comfortable, with plenty of daylight and good soundproofing. Nice small bar and reception/waiting area. Helpful friendly staff. Excellent location for Montparnasse and easy access to centre on Metro (two lines). Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel, perfect for a short stay in Paris! Staff are incredible. I had laundry done with Laundryheap (a
Company I found online) who did not return my laundry to me before I left. The hotel has been incredibly helpful as I navigate getting my things back since the laundry service was nearly impossible to get back in touch with. Such caring and empathetic staff!!

This was an excellent stay particularly with helpful, friendly and patient reception staff. We were given a warm welcome on arrival and although the room was not ready, (as we arrived early! ) we were made very comfortable in the bar/ lounge area.
Breakfast on Sunday 25th was superb and served by 2 helpful and friendly staff. Plenty of choice of hot/cold food, fresh bread , fruit etc.
So sorry that the experience today 26th was not so good. We went down to breakfast at 7 a.m. and there was noone there! Eventually the server arrived at about 7.10 and we even had to ask for bread/ milk/ juice which was not available until 7.20 a.m. There was no possibility of any hot food as that did not become available until 7.40 a.m. Again we had to ask but it was too late as we had to travel to Calais to return to the UK. I feel this was unacceptable especially as we were assured that breakfast was included in the price and would be available from 7 a.m. Under the circumstances I feel strongly that the cost of the breakfast should be refunded.
We found that the hotel was in a very pleasant location with easy access to the Metro and plenty of restaurants. Car Parking was an extra bonus being only a few minutes from the hotel.

I have been staying in the Montparnasse neighborhood for 40 years. It is excellent and safe. So many great restaurants across the street. This is an iconic neighborhood! I have stayed at the hotel several times over the last 40 years too. The staff is great and the building exterior is classic deco. I stayed in one of their jr suits on the 5th floor. I think it was $505. Stunning views of Paris! The hotel just just finished a refurbishment and everything works, but it is a shame that the decor and especially the furnishing was so out of place with the classic decor style of the building. There was a table and chairs that looked like something out of an airport lounge. The bathroom tub looks garish. Something like you would find in a Las Vegas hotel. Such a stunning building and the decor really cheapens this classic beauty. Maybe this is what guests what? Who knows. Other than that it is great!

It’s 1 mins walk from Vavin metro stop. The rooms are very clean, kettle, coffee maker and a/c. Now the room was very compact but I didn’t mine that. If you want bigger book deluxe. I slept well and it’s a peaceful part of Paris.

Me and my wife stayed in this hotel for 5 nights in a classic double room. The dimension of the room itself was good instead the bathroom was very small. The bed comfortable, good cleanliness and the position of the hotel was very good, very close to the bus stop (line 68) and close to 2 metro lines (Vavin and Raspail). The quarter is very good, with a lot of restaurant. The staff is very kind and helpful

Excellent location in Montparnasse. The front desk was very helpful in taking care of my wife's medicine by letting us use their refrigerator and giving us excellent restaurant suggestions. The room was comfortable and so was the bed. If you want to stay in the Montparnasse area this hotel is perfect.

The hotel is undergoing renovations so there was some noise and the staircase was dusty and a bit cluttered. But, overall, I think it’s a good choice and I would stay there again.

Booked this after having stayed in several Hilton properties and several Airbnb‘s. I wanted to try a French hotel. This one fit the bill and the reviews looked like it would be good for me. We booked five rooms over Christmas. You definitely needed temper your expectations to French and European standards not American standards. I had already done that so I found this to be a great stay. The location is perfect for us, it’s literally right in the middle of everything, the metro is very close, we walked to most of the attractions in the city without difficulty. Even in the winter when it was chilly, it was easy to get wherever we were going. Keep in mind that with Traffic, you are going to be a solid 45 minutes or more from CDG airport now, the rooms are small by American standards, but I think they’re pretty decent by French standards. This building is probably older than the United States so I can’t fault them for the size of the rooms. Our room had a view down the street with the Eiffel Tower twinkling at the end- quite lovely. The bed was comfortable. It’s a queen size we were OK with it. The shape of the room for us was a little bit unusual, but worked. 1 of the rooms we had had a separate toilet/ shower room which I thought was useful. Some rooms have shower and other rooms bathtub. My room had a bathtub and I use it the first night. It was deep and comfortable. The breakfast was French standard and good quality. The staff was nice. The price was good too. I’ll be back

An excellent French hotel. For Americans, the staff speaks English. Well situated in a not very touristic area. You can get anywhere easily.

The room was quiet, with good double-glazing, nice bathroom, comfortable bed and air-conditioning. So handy to Vavin Metro Station and an abundance of inviting eateries. Loved our view of the top of the Eiffel Tower in the distance.

Hotel Raspail Montparnasse is in an excellent location, close to the Metro and centrally located. There are several good restaurants, a grocery store and laundromat nearby. It is walkable to the RER B and Luxembourg Gardens. The room was quiet but a bit small. We were in the room to sleep and didn't spend much time so not a big deal. Decor was ok but could be updated. Breakfast was good and hotel staff were pleasant.

This was a small room. It would have been adequate for our 2 night stay, but we had a few “little” problems. First, our in-room safe wouldn’t after we put our passports in it. The front desk man came immediately and used his special little tool to open the safe. The next problem was more an issue. About 6am the second night, my wife heard water dripping down on the bed. We quickly grabbed a few towels and put down where the water was falling. There was a little hole in the ceiling and that’s where the water was coming from. We called the front desk and they sent a man up immediately—he brought more towels. Within 10 minutes the water dripping stopped. We went back to sleep—though we weren’t sure if this was a temporary storage or not. We asked the front desk for some type of compensation for this issue, but to no avail. Overall, a nice little hotel—very basic. The location in Montparnasse is terrific. The staff very friendly and helpful—though no relief for water problem. I wouldn’t stay there again due to the water issue, and at $250/night it was not cheap.

We arrived a bit early for our check in. The lady at the reception was very friendly, made us coffees and told us she would find out when the room would be ready. We had our coffee in the bar area next to the reception, chatted a bit with each other, and the lady then told us the room would be ready in about 45 minutes. We then decided to go sightseeing for a bit and then come back.

That was the first experience of the friendly service at the reception. The young gentleman in the evening shift was also very helpful

The room was small but elegantly designed. It was was supposed to have a shower and bath tub combination, but there was only a shower. That was disappointing as one of the main reasons we chose this hotel was to have a bath. The bathroom was small and there was a little space for personal belongings. There was a big bottle of shower gel attached to the wall, no other toiletries.

The room had a chargeable mini fridge. There was a kettle and 2 wine glasses and 2 champagne glasses on the table.

The breakfast room was small, but big enough for the people having breakfast there. The choice was basic but the items were of good quality.

Overall this is a good hotel with a good service for a fair price. The only reason for dissatisfaction was the lack of a bath in our room.

I would not specifically choose this hotel over another hotel, but I would happily stay there again if I were to take an early morning train from Gare du Montparnasse.

The Raspail Montparnasse is in a great location (close to metro stops, great restaurants nearby). The hotel is very clean. It is a smaller hotel, so do be aware of that, but it was perfect for what we needed. The staff was very helpful and great. The room was clean. Hotel is in a great location. Situated by many metro stations it’s easy to access all of the attractions and also CDG airport. We stayed during the heat wave and the hotel had excellent air conditioning facilities throughout the property, it was really nice to come back to after being out in the heat all day. The room was clean, had a nice decor and the shower was very spacious. Great value for money and would definitely recommend.

This hotel was in a good location because of the places that we wanted to visit during this trip to Paris. It is close to some nice walking streets, with many restaurants & theatres. It is also close to at least two metro stations and a railway station. However, it may not suit others who wish to be on the other side of the river. We had a problem with a power outage one night (some other guest didn't use a converter when needed). It got solved quite quickly, but the initial contact with the staff person on duty was a little discourteous.

We had a lovely time at the hotel. We were in town for the Ryder Cup and the location was convenient for travel from montparnasse out to the course. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The only downside is that the bedroom and bathroom were very small (though that did not bother us unduly as we were not there much)

My stay at this hotel was excellent. The hotel was safe and within a reasonable walking distance to locations such as Musee d’Orsay, Notre Dame, the Louvre etc. I should note that the walk to these locations took you through some nice districts that had shopping, restaurants etc. The rooms in the hotel were comfortable, albeit, slightly outdated. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and really tried to make your stay as pleasant as it could be. I would stay here again.

The street was a bit noisy at night, which made it a little difficult to fall asleep. The staff was extremely helpful with printing tickets that I purchased to things, and giving me directions to trains and locations. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is okay, the room is very small for two people, but I guess this is standard in Europe. The bathroom shower doesn’t have much hot water, and the aircon barely goes which was disappointing. The staff on the other hand were lovely.

Third times a charm!

This was our third stay at Raspail Montparnasse. Convenient to many cafes and the Vavin Metro stop. Would stay again and would recommend to family and friends.

Tge place was more a guesthouse than a hotel! A regular size person hardly fits in the beds and we could hear every single noise from the next door rooms.
