It's a great hotel with everything you need. It's clean and comfortable. It included a lovely hot full breakfast. It's also close to the Collections Outlet, Niagara on the Lake, and the Lake House restaurant. The staff is friendly and helpful, very welcoming. I stayed many years ago a few times and decided to come back this year, so happy I did!. The hotel looks like it has renovated.

The carpet in my room was so dirty that it made the bottom of my white socks black in a short time, should forget carpets in rooms as can’t be maintained properly. The staff on the front desk were excellent, very friendly. Breakfast was scrambled eggs and sausage patties, plus some over salted fried potatoes, muffins, toast, yogurt etc., was adequate, but kept running out of things too quickly. The room had adequate AC, but room was very damp and bedding and pillows seemed damp as well, others were complaining about this as well. I tried turning the AC off, but didn’t want to turn heat on.

Location was good. Staff were very accommodating. While attending the event I was in town for, I tore my Achilles tendon. As a result, my mobility was severely hindered. Restaurant staff were very accommodating for room service as was the checkout process when they sendt a staff member to my room to load my bags and meet me around front when I drove my vehicle for checkout. Greatly appreciated.

Hotel is poorly maintained and poorly managed. It is a great location and we got a good nights sleep. Rooms are about 20 years overdue for a complete renovation. Taps, sinks and countertops in poor condition. Cleaning was marginally good, but a few wipes with a white cloth revealed mold and mildew. Coffee pot did not work when pressed on 2nd brew. Curtains did not block light. Staff smoking outside. Garbage can was full.

Generally speaking the hotel is trying to improve for sure. Money was definitely spent to upgrade and it looks nice and clean. HOWEVER, I am pretty sure I saw a bed bug in the morning daylight! When reading reviews after the fact, looks like this place has a history of bed bug infestations. And it was a baby bed bug, so the renos will go to waste in short order. Put everything you own into a plastic bags and get it all exposed to high heat. Very disappointing.

We stayed in an “executive room.” It was very quiet, on the second floor. The property is located near so many restaurants. The only elevator is near the reception area but the room was on the other side of the building. It was a long walk with luggage. There are stairs near the room, so if you have small bags, no problem.

Terrible experience with a couple of the old people that feel they own pool and hot tub area, not letting the guests enjoy for what we pay.

I reported to the young lady at the pool desk but also at the main front desk…
Hopefully they will take some action to stop this wrong behavior that clearly affects this hotel image. We won’t come back here never ever again.

Breakfast was decent and free parking is nice. The lobby is great, and pool amenities. Staff are very nice. However, this hotel is outdated. The rooms, hallways smells. The washrooms and elevators are small and need to be maintained. Location is perfect but overall I think it’s over priced for the comfort and cleanliness it offers.

Staff were friendly and helpful. They always had a smile for you. I really appreciated that the front desk lady switched our room to an inner room that faced the courtyard instead of the road. It helped with having a way to entertain my young child in a safe environment.

Sad the outdoor pool was closed. My husband appreciated that there is a full gym available for guests. I had looked forward to the aquafit class but the instructor was on holidays.

The remote to the tv didn’t work and staff replaced it quickly. Which was nice.

It was nice to see that the food for the complimentary breakfast was rotated daily. There was a girl training in the restaurant during breakfast. I don’t know if it was that she was training or just her personality but she was great. Really on the ball about making sure the food was topped up and that plates were cleared in a timely manner. It was noticeable when she wasn’t working.

Some negatives are the lack of overhead lighting in the room. The bathroom light switch was outside of the bathroom. The door to the bathroom was a real pain as you had little room to scoot around it to get in to the bathroom.

It was fine. Comfortable. Very expensive for what it was (long weekend) But it was clean enough and had a pool, small arcade, and complimentary breakfast which was a plus. Some areas looked a little worn and in need of a little TLC.

Our room was indoor “pool view” which was awful. It was our fault for not double checking or making a moving request, but our child had a game the next day and needed sleep but pool was wild and noisy until just after 10 making it impossible to sleep until then, and then the pool opened again at 6am making it noisy again. So if you can avoid these rooms, I would.

Staff was lovely though.

Would in return? Probably not unless it was cheaper or I was in a jam.

For a handicap person might stay at your facility was unacceptable. As for a handicap person and a power chair your doors were unsuitable for any handicap person to get in anybody in a regular wheelchair. Can’t even get into your room. Allen was fantastic at check in. Gave us a quieter area as we were there for a death in the family. The lady was polite when we tried to check out early, but couldn’t offer a refund as I booked third party.

It was very loud until late at night due to a sports tournament, although I am not sure that anything else could have been done about that. Good overall. Will stay again.

The rooms are clean, modern, and very well maintained. The furniture is in excellent condition, and overall the property presents very nicely.

We did travel with our dog on this visit. We checked in advance—both online and by calling the hotel—to confirm there wouldn’t be any issues. While we appreciate that the hotel is pet-friendly, it was not made clear during booking or on the call that there would be an additional $30 fee for bringing our dog.

We don’t necessarily take issue with the fee itself, but clearer communication upfront would have been appreciated to avoid any surprises at check-in.
