Very dated, for starters… the microwave had dials on it?!? The bedding was straight out of the late 70s. The internet brought back memories of dial-up. It was too slow to stream entertainment, let alone browse the internet or apps like Amazon. The TV received 9 channels, and two of them were duplicates… You absolutely get what you pay for. In seriousness though - the location is the selling point. I was in the area to watch a basketball tournament at Brock University in St. Catharines, and it was equal distance to run into Niagara Falls for entertainment after hours.

This is an older property. I have no problem with that. The room was fairly clean, except the bed sheets did have a couple stray hairs and debris, so they did not appear to be clean. No evidence of bedbugs though. We made the most of it and slept on top and not in between the sheets. Our room had a refrigerator that didn’t work. There is no ice machine or coffee. Available.
I don’t need a fancy breakfast or a pool (they have a pool with no water and a playground that looks about 40 years old) to be happy. But I generally do appreciate ice and coffee.
The mosquitoes in the area are terrible. It’s hard not to get them in your room when you go in the room at night. Minimize it by shutting the door fast! Our room had some flies. Maybe they came in with the mosquitos, but I don’t know. They were a little annoying.

This is definitely a budget motel. It was clean. The bathroom is quite basic. The AC was noisy and prevented a good nights sleep. The pool was been left to decommission. We were told the jacuzzi tub didn't work but still disappointing. Too much money for a very basic room.

While fairly nicely kept up the accommodations are very dated and in need of repair - particularly in the bathroom around the sink. But that being said I feel the proprietors have done their best in attempt to keep the price down in an accessible area. The television needs replaced as it has a line down the screen also the fridge freezes everything It could also do with bed side lights. But honestly we were pleased and will definitely use these accommodations again

Also, the pillows had some hairs which seemed like they never change it. The manager working there don't know how to talk professionally. I chose this place based on a modest budget. I have stayed in similar motels previously. This place was clean. Lots of hot water. Bedding was reasonably good. _Brand new knob and deadbolt locks._ The proprietor was kind and soft-spoken. :-)

We were disappointed to find the pool empty, especially since it was over 80 degrees F. Other pools for other hotels in the area were also drained so may have been due to conservation requirements. There is a great pizza take out restaurant nearby and also a cool playground about a mile away that as a zip line swing. It is a good hotel for a comfortable bed and does still have its own little playground which kids enjoyed playing on while I got things packed up in the morning.

Bed was comfy, that's about it.... I believe they're on well water as water smelled funky. Bathroom was somewhat run down (paint peeling, no fan, broken mirror, toilet took 30 minutes to fill after flush). TV was HD with a handful of SD channels. Walls were paper thin, neighbours partying at 2am was fun. The glorious pool featured in all their photos wasn't even filled.....wouldn't stay there again. On the flip side the microwave and fridge worked.

The property is nothing like the pictures. The area is unkept , overgrown with weeds, the pool is full of sludge and garbage. The main entrance is unkept and smells of body odor and stale food. They have a no refund policy so if you pay in advance of seeing the place then you are screwed for getting your money back.

Our limited interaction with the personnel was polite, courteous, friendly and helpful.
